The employees dont really go out of their way to help the customers but they are very knowledgeable and will help if asked. Although there was a very tall older gentleman with longer grayish hair that put down something very heavy that he was carrying just to ask us if there was anything that he could help us with. I wish I could remember his name and I will edit this and update it next time I go in and find him, but you really cant miss this guy. Hes pretty much the tallest dude that works there that I had ever seen personally. Anyway I just want to say good job sir and thank you very much for helping us with our needs.

Some of the best staff in Abilene, friendly helpful go out of your way to help customers. They make customers feel comfortable and help you find with our looking for. Love the fact that I can take my dog.

We went there to purchase a microwave. They had a good selection of one brand but limited of others. The salesperson was helpful. She let us make the decision without pressure. We finally chose one and the checkout was relatively quick. We will return for other products.

Has everything you need to do a project. But I wish corporate from Home Depot would consider adding more RV parts. We RVers would appreciate to find hard to find parts for our RV. Please expand the selections in your stores. Other than that, you rock. Love everything in the store. Thank you for everything in the store.

The associates here are helpful for the most part. The store is usually well stocked and organized. I rarely have trouble finding what Im looking for. Never have an issue getting assistance with loading and have had some employees go out of their way to assist. Theres one gal in garden I absolutely love. She is always helpful and in a great mood.

No halloween this yr! Very upset. Went 2 weeks before Halloween and there was one tiny section in the middle of the isle left.

Love how the prices on the Husky toolboxes went from $378 to $ 429. Today was one of my last trips there. You shoot prices up right before a holiday! Ahh corporations...

Had two younger employees load. 56 paverstones on a pallet. Nice kids however. When we got on site. 3 were broken. That we must return.Which sucks since we live 125 miles from the site.

I went to the South side store, here in Abilene, to purchase a window a/c. Found one I was willing to pay for and requested assistance putting it on my cart. Wouldnt have bothered but I just had knee surgery and my lifting capabilities are limited. I was suddenly all alone on that end of the store. Both ladies at customer service and the area worker just ignored my request or left the area. Have to think long and hard about continuing to be a customer.

Great customer service today in plumbing. He actually knew what I needed!Before I realized it yep it was a hug black rat running from aisle 14 to 13. Good thing theres no food served. Make sure you hand sanitize rat pee is hazardous to your health!

The installer for this store is horrible. His name is Byron and he destroyed my home due to his negligence. Home Depot doesnt care nor does this installers actual employers. The best advice is go somewhere else until this Byron does not work anymore or he will do damage or a bad install. It seems to be a pass the buck with this guy, but Home Depot hasnt resolved my issue. If you see a Byron on your paperwork to do installs on your home...RUN VERY FAST. I wouldnt let him install toilet paper in my home, more less a door, a window or cabinets. Beware of Byron Beckman!!!

Rented a ditcher. Equipment worked great. We were told to return full of fuel which we did. They did not however mention that the equipment should cleaned/washed before we returned. SO...we had to re-hook it up, find a drive thru car wash and spend about $15 getting it clean. Had we known we could have power washed at home

For the most part home depot is a a good store for lumber tools and basic necessities. But absolutely falls below average in shopping for appliances in store. Having to order your appliances online only is not my definition of a great store. Why would most people go shopping for items you have to wait 7 to 21 days to be delivered. If you need fridge, washer, dryer, stove, and you needed it now this place isnt where I would go.

One year later, even the King couldnt stop the bandits and price gougers.....so as it was told the Three Little Pigs had to go back to building their houses out of straw and mud....and that my children is how the the wolf got fat!THEEND

It was good except the outrageous price of the wood there is no reason for these kinds of prices we bought one piece of plywood and like 5 two by fours it was over a 100 bucks

Very poor customer service. My husband worked at a Home Depot for years and we would like to be loyal customers, but we shop at Lowe’s in this town.

Typical Home Depot. I came for a fridge and they have the color I dont want lol.

Picked up everything I needed. Cut the PVC so it would fit in my vehicle, Lowes told me to go buy a handsaw if I wanted to cut pipe. THD has what I need.

Garbage store with a couple good people. Isles arent labeled, signs are blank, one person running one checkout in professional services while ALL the self checkouts were blocked off, etc. Ive posted pictures here of all the above. Also, all isles are in the stupidest layout Ive ever seen in any Home Depot from Rockwall to Sweetwater. Someone needs to come in and fix this store. The people working there are the only reason this didnt get 1 star.

I bought beautiful vinyl plank flooring at Home Depot. I confirmed with salesman that I would not be charged for the installers mistakes. I hired Home Depot to install and they said Cooper installation would be calling to set up at time to install. A local company called and said Cooper installation hired them to install my floors. It was beautiful to look at. Unfortunately I do not cook much and the day I decided to I found that my floor had a 2 in piece sticking up! It was not at an end so most likely it happened when they I hit it with their hammers to install it. Not far from it I found a small chunk missing at a corner. The installer came and looked at it and said they would be here on the next Friday to fix it. Never showed up, he said he has to speak to Cooper installation and Home Depot. The floors were installed in January, it is now April 15th and I have gone to Home Depot several times, I have spoken to Ty several times, I have spoken to another manager, Tim. I was told only Cooper instaltion would have installed my floor, they do no know who this other company is but Ty told my boyfriend that she knows him personally. She also told him someone took off my warranty! She said she added it back. I told the other manager about that and he said that didn’t happen! I have asked them to come to my house and look at the floor, they can’t because they did not install it! Cooper won’t. I have gone over this floor with a fine tooth comb and found a few other spots lifted up where no one even walks! Could someone please advise me on my awful experience here? My floors have blue tape on it to protect it from getting worse! I am so disappointed in Home Depot!!!!! I will not refer!!!

Im here just about 3-4 times a week. Id say 98% of the staff are wearing masks and they offer masks and sanitizer at the door if anyone wanted to use them. I only wish that they would enforce the mask rule they have imposed and constantly talk about over the PA system.

We went for paint for a bathroom project. James in the paint Dept not only helped us choose the right shade of white, but the right finish. He showed us the effect of different lighting on our top choices to help us make a final decision. We were there until closing and they were very friendly about it and helped us load our lumber. 25% more expensive than Higginbotham here in Colorado City but they gave a military discount and we picked up some Chick-Fil-A while in town. We live 70 miles from this location, 70 from the one in Midland and 70 from the one in San Angelo... this is our favorite Home Depot

Looked online to see if they had RBG light strips in the store and they did! Even had the aisle and bay number! Super helpful!!

They could do a lot more to enforce masks during a pandemic, like booting the offenders out or something. But their stock is good, they were the only place in town to have half mask respirator a for paint projects.

I took my 14 year old daughter to look Tools as she is interested in building her own things. It was a successful trip she purchased a large tool box for her coming collection.

Had to get some paint darkined I had bought from Habitat for Humanity.After Lowes tried then failed,we called upon Home Depot and they were so helpful and professional.Thank you James and crew for doing such a great job.I highly recommend Home Depot for all home repair and painting needs.i am a general contractor and it makes my job alot easier and less stressful when Hardware stores do such great jobs with thier customers.

Usually biz as usual at Home Depot. I find what I need and leave. Electric and plumbing can be a challenge for me and I have to rely on the HD person to help me. This trip I needed some plumbing help. The HD person, Dennis, seemed to either not grasp what I was telling him or doing what he could to not help with a solution. Either way, working with him was not pleasant. The worst part was I discovered that his solution did not work for my application causing another trip to HD and buying a solution SOMEWHERE ELSE.

For most part...good visit. Found what we needed.Was looking to buy a washer an dryer set.Three and four employees would be gathered together by these products but not one offered to help us.

Nice store and friendly people. My only complaint is they apparently dont have a system similar to My Lowes, so if I want to order something on-line and get my military discount I have to order at the store.

Do not order curbside pickup here. I needed two items today. One item was ready for pickup. The other was not despite being available in the store. In the store, I was told I could buy the other item but they couldnt cancel it there because the original order had already started shipping. After getting home, I called Home Depot to cancel. For some reason, they were shipping that item to me and would not cancel the order.

Very friendly young lady who helped us. Understaffed, but just be patiend, youll be next and youll get the same great service. Super good supplies and building company. Beautiful plants as well. Great garden center. Cant say enough about Home Depot. Super place to shop.

I’ve been to this Home Depot quite a bit. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with this location and took my business to Lowe’s. After Lowe’s did not have an item I was looking for, I decided to give Home Depot another shot. As I walked in I was greeted by the cashier and was helped by a gentlemen named Tim (who looked very tired from moving Christmas trees) that took me straight to the product. After speaking with Tim on my previous visits and the bad experiences, he stated that the store has recently had a change in management. He assured me a lot has changed and that anytime I’m in the store, I can ask for him and he will come and assist with anything I need. Very refreshing visit from the past.

We were shopping for siding and materials for our house. As per usual nobody was around to help. The cashier was really kind.

Great lumber store!

I could not believe they accepted a screwed up special order window to pawn off to the customer ! There was a screw half way in, in the seam frame holding glass in ! Screens missing, a 3 inch section of plastic busted out ! It had food or grease on the glass . It was horrible !!!!!!!!!

Paint guy was not trained well. He had no idea on how to help with a paint project.
