I am new to the Yuma area and needed someone who had a lot of experience cutting curly hair. Its not easy to find a curly hair stylist. Frank did an amazing job. I feel wonderful. I am so lucky that I found him. I would recommend this place to anybody that wants to look their best.

It was my first time here and I had an appointment with Frank and I LOVED his attitude!! He was friendly, caring, and he addressed all my hair concerns! NEVER EVER have I had anyone take care of my hair like he did, he even gave me a scalp massage!!! WOWZERS!! I love that he didnt rush through the who washing, and cutting of my hair. He took his time and I have never been happier with my cut!! Thank you Frank!!!! You will definitely be my go to guy 🥰

Every time I visit Yuma, I try my best to get my hair done at J & Frank with Katie. She is absolutely amazing and does wonders for damaged carton colored hair, like mine. She is so professional and completely succeeds at matching the color from a picture onto your hair. Would recommend this place 1000x.

After moving to Yuma from San Diego where I had had the same hair stylist for over 10 years I was really nervous about going someplace new. I wanted a stylist who knew how to cut thick hair and who could take over my root touch-ups.Frank and Katie seamlessly took over and after 3 visits I have to say they are AWESOME!!!Katie managed to match my color on the first try - very impressive in my book and Frank was great in helping me to make a slight change in hair cut to accommodate the AZ dry air vs. the coastal humidity.From the beginning they took time to talk with me to make sure they were clear on my wants and needs and each visit they check in with me to make sure were on the same path.I recommend them highly!!!

I had my hair done in 2018 and unfortunately i was never able to write a review because i had suddenly moved out of Yuma and was sad that this had happened . i am living back near Chicago and miss Yuma terribly . I miss this salon and i believe it was Kaitlynn that did my hair and i could be wrong .. i apologize if i am but hope who ever is reading this will look up my name and the wonderful hairdresser that did my hair! (( Please let her know I was the one that did back ground acting for the Chicago shows )) .She was great and my hair never looked so good! If i ever find myself back in that area i will definitely be going back to this salon!

Always friendly, courteous staff. Very professional and skilled stylists. Unlike a lot of salon places, they make you feel comfortable & like part of the family. Kyla is da bomb;) she always explains what her plan is while coloring and cutting my very long hair. Kyla has a long time client here.Update 6/11/21: my gal Kyla has since moved to Blush Hair and beauty bar. I would follow her to the moon and back! Ill be leaving a review for them as well!

Roxy was amazing! She fixed a bad haircut that Ive had for a month, and did an absolutely beautiful job. I didnt think that it was all that fixable but she did magic.

I loved the service! The lady who cut my hair, I hope Im spelling it right, Clarice? Well she did an AMAZING job! I had very long hair and was going into get a lob, knowing it was going to be much shorter than what I had at the time. I was very nervous, anytime Ive had my hair cut short I hated it. Thought it made me look cubby or just didnt fit me right. But Im in love with how she did it, I feel like it looks so cute! And she even curled it for me! The length sits just below my shoulder line, and previously my hair went all the way down past my chesty bits. My hair feels so healthy and I can still put it up in a ponytail! It honestly feels so freeing, especially in this yuma heat! Im beyond happy with it. Ill be going back to get a sombre and I cant wait!

I loved walking in and seeing the stylist in action. The atmosphere was very relaxing and comfortable. I met both Owners which were supe sweet. I am very picky because I do hair, but it was time for me to treat myself and wanted that pampered experience like I give everybody else . I think I found my new place. Thank yall so very much for welcoming me. Also putting up with my daughter who talked your ears off. Frank cut my hair. He gave me exactly what I asked for. Took his time and listened to what I wanted. I am a very happy CLIENT .

I had Monet do my hair I loved it. She was nice and did my hair very well. she even styled it very nicely afterwards. I got my hair a nice red color and even though i had dark brown hair it showed up really well. they made me and my fiancee that was there with me feel comfortable and taken care of. the full price only went out to 60 something (not including tip). very recommended.

I had the BEST experience the first appointment and even tipped 30% on my total bill (I purchased shampoo/conditioner/serum). They provided very professional service that day so I figured, if I tipped well, then maybe I’d get the same next appointment. Unfortunately, they fell very short thereafter.I scheduled my second appointment 8 weeks out, jumped through hoops to avoid canceling as some circumstances came up to include my husband’s car breaking down the evening before my appointment. To boot, we were going out of town for an event that evening and I hadn’t colored my hair, considering I had this appointment for trim and color. My husband got off work to bring me my vehicle, since his was in the shop.As I’m about to turn my car on to leave for my appointment, I receive a call from my stylist who says she is behind with her previous appointment and asked if could come in later that day. Had a lived 2 minutes further, I would have been en route at the point she called me. I told her I couldn’t, as we were leaving town for an event, our timeline didn’t allow for a few hours delay. She said her previous appointment turned out to be a bigger project than she had expected and offered to only dye my hair if I came in later. I declined knowing she wouldn’t finish on the timeline we had planned on departing or it’d be rushed.She offered to give me an appointment on her day off since she was booked, I was so disappointed, I told her I would have to call her back when I returned from out of town the following week, I haven’t.I did try to contact the owners 3 times in 3 months, with no response. I didn’t want to give them a negative public review but 2 unanswered emails and an unanswered message I left for Frank at the salon. I think they do good work, however, I found this situation unprofessional.I ended up going out of town with gray roots, relying on that appointment and did everything in my power to get to regardless of what I had going on. I would have understood had a pressing emergency occurred, but not for simply running late because another client took precedence over my appointment that was booked 8 weeks before.When I contacted the salon to speak with Frank about this issue, I mentioned the two unanswered emails. I was told the email provided on their Facebook account was checked by J, the other owner and he really didn’t deal with emails. Also, I was asked to explain the reason for my phone call. I didn’t feel comfortable doing so, especially because the person asking was the stylist who had not followed through with my scheduled appointment.I’ve exhausted the avenues in giving the owners my customer feedback. As I stated above, I do think they do good work. However, I feel they need to know how their staff deals with customers and how they handle unforeseen circumstances that might affect their business negatively. In fact, Frank and I spoke about this very issue at my first appointment and how hard he has worked to provide the best customer service possible to make his clientele feel valued.

I have had my hair done by them several times, they always do what looks good on me, not just that day, but every day forward. They are very friendly, and can do even difficult cuts and dyes. The atmosphere is great, the space is big and open with good music playing.

I was recommended to see Erika by a friend and I thank them for it every chance I get. This salon is so wonderfully run and everyone is so friendly. Great service and talented hair stylists.

Jay, Frank and the staff are the best. They really pride themselves on providing the best customer service and educating themselves on the products and techniques they use to color and or style hair.

Sad I cant go here anymore since I moved. I had my first hair cut in 10 years from Frank and color correction by Erika. I had damaged hair that had been dyed blue and turned green. I left with blonde and healthy hair. The salon is very clean, cute and comfortable and staff is amazing. I really wish I could go back here. Highly recommend!

This place is one of the best hair salons I have ever been too! Jay did such an amazing job on my hair and took her time to give me amazing results. I went here based off the reviews I read on here and I was very pleased so I thought I would leave a review as well. I got my hair cut and style by Frank. He was extremely polite, professional and incredibly knowledgeable! We spent the first few minutes just talking about my hair goals and what I wanted. After we were on the same page he took me over to get my hair shampooed which was worth the price of the hair cut alone! Back to the chair and frank trimmed my hair, blow dried it and gave me beautiful sleek curls (I have the worlds frizzest dry hair) he gave me some advice and how to keep my hair moisturerized in this dry Arizona heat and I got some of the products he used on my hair which left it so soft and touchable! I will definitely be going back to this salon the next time I get my hair done!

Fun environment, very professional but laid back. My hair is natural and thick, I wasnt prepared for the extra charges that I wasnt quoted, but now that I know what to expect it will be a returning customer and spreading the word.
