Like others have said the customer service here is great. I went in last week to sell my PS4 and Sam was very efficient and friendly.

Such a nice experience i had today.. the employees at this shop didn’t even know that they were receiving the new Gen consoles but yet they managed to deal with everyone and even the angry customers, OJ store manager was awesome he knew people had to wait so he offered free key chains and some posters I had a great experience and a great console thank you guys keep up the good work

Wow!! this place has the BEST customer service ive ever experienced in my life! we came in because a hulu prepaid code we bought wasnt working. the woman working, Emily, was absolutely fantastic! she called customer service FOR US (we couldve called ourselves, but she saved us the hassel!). not only that, but i loved listening to her speak to CS because she was so happy and laughing and was so very professional! i swear she is my favorite person! you go emily, youre awesome!!

The staff at this location is INCREDIBLE. Angela in particular went above and beyond to help us get the action figure we were seeking. Ray and Sarah helped also. We live in Warren and were visiting Ann Arbor, but I will definitely try to get to this location any time I can.

This store was very clean. Impeccably so. The two associates on duty were very friendly. Dre, who I believe was the manager there, was extremely knowledgeable about his business, very courteous, and friendly to boot. Best of all, these employees were very honest about products in their store. If I asked for an opinion, they gave it to me. Thank you both for your wonderful work.

Awful experience at this location. I went to trade in two games and purchase two new ones. The cashier only rang up one of the new games and took in my two trades. When I asked about the other new game, I was told it was not in stock. I told the cashier I wanted one of my trade ins instead. The cashier then tried to charge me five times the amount that they gave me as a trade-in, to repurchase my game(keep in mind I never left the store counter). I told the store thats not going to work for me. Had they let me know that the game was out of stock, I would not have traded in my older game in the first place. The cashier was confused and then miraculously found a used copy of the game that I wanted to purchase. Save your time and visit another location.

Careful going here to trade in things. Went here to trade in a PS4 towards purchasing a PS4 pro, they told me they had 20 in stock. I waited in line for 10 minutes, 3 PS4s were bought. I did the trade in and then was told they had no more. Got my PS4 back, but not before the attendant slammed it on the counter.Go to play on it later at home only to find out the system now reset every 2 hours. Spoke to a general manager who made me trade in and then purchase a used PS4 pro which ran super slow and would not fix the issue.Recommend another location. Be extremely careful if you go here. Seriously.

I’ve been to a lot of other GameStop stores, but none compare to this one. They’re always super nice and helpful there. The whole team is awesome and very personable. It makes me want to only go to this store.

The gamestop on ellsworth is great! The staff is so helpful! My son desperately wanted a minty pick ax and our code did not work the first time so we went back to the store and they were so nice and gave us another code no questions asked :)

This is our favorite GStop spot. They get us what we need or will order it for us. I now only get gaming equipment or games from them. I stopped ordering from eBay because GameStop offers warranties!!

I absolutely love this Game Stop. Every time Ive been there Ive never felt pressured, never felt like I was wasting someones time, etc. That might be because Ive never gone to return a game or anything like that. But just going for general geeky gifts has always been a pleasant trip.

Its about time I write a review about this location. I recently came in here to purchase a game I pre-ordered, and even though it was over an hour of a wait, time went by. I enjoyed a lengthy conversation with the employees about games, bringing me lots of nostalgia, and joy, until it was time to pick up my game. Exemplary customer service here, theyve even offered me a job before because I made them a couple sales just by chit chatting with customers. Theyve always been friendly and welcoming here, and this is why they are at Prestige. Id always recommend this location to all my friends.

Very friendly staff. If you need somthing and willing to pay regular price, you wont waste you time driving here. They will most likely have everything your looking for. They do have sales every so often, that even the playing field price wise. Best black friday deals on Nintendo switch, you guy are going to make my kids super happy.

I havent felt comfortable walking into a Gamestop since like 2008. This one was no exception. I clutched my wallet in a vise grip and read all the fine print to look for loopholes in my $35 transaction.

I have made countless phone calls to try and get someone on the phone. I have checked store hours to see if Im calling at the right time, I made 11 calls until someone had the clue they needed to pick up. I had someone on the phone (didnt catch her name) rudely speed talk me. I asked about a game and they said they didnt have it and they hung up on me. Employees are just flat out rude when you go in.The last time that I dealt with them I was hunting down the newest NHL game and they were the only one in the area to have it. I called ahead to get 1 put aside and they refused. When I arrived they were all gone. You can imagine my dissappointment when I had drove to the store only to find what I came for was no longer there, it was infuriating. They have a huge problem with putting things aside.If you are looking for a place to just get in get out and you know what you want. Then youll have no issue. If you need help or suggestions about something seek out Ann Arbor GameStops and Best Buy.

They attempted to sell a open box game as new and $10 over Walmart. They have games on the shelves that to customers that they are in stock and they are not. Sales rep only explanation was Nintendo pays us alot of money.

Wow, Id be embarrassed if I were responsible for this store. The two representatives working tonight were beyond rude. First, the female rep couldnt be bothered to help anyone and quickly passed me I off to an even bigger jack hole. The guy didnt say a word to me, starts to process my trade in and when it comes time to pay for my new console he drops the value of my console trade in by $20 because there are micro scratches on the top of the console. I said you have to be kidding and he says nope take it or leave it, I dont care. HE DOESNT CARE! Which makes sense because the entire time the female rep working was bashing the company telling everyone that would listen the job doesnt pay enough and you should never work for GameStop because youd have to get another job on top of it.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff are willing to help if you need it and willing to let you browse if you dont. They have a good selection of used games, too.

Beware if you buy used hardware. I bought a used PS3 as a Blu ray player for my father. Got home and tried to set it up for him. HDMI out didnt work. I feel like this port should be working on a used unit. Full refund a day after I bought it, however what a colossal waist of time for both parties. To avoid pain in my situation, ask them to hook it up and test it before buying it.

I went in to GameStop almost two weeks ago to purchase Atelier Ryza and they tried to sell me a used copy for the full retail price of 59.99. I walked out of there. Thats one of the reasons I try to avoid shopping there.

Not just poor customer service -- completely absent customer service.Last night, I had a minor party emergency. Two hours before hosting friends for a Kinect party (playing games I had previously purchased at GameStop), my Xbox red-ringed. I ran around town trying to find a preowned console to replace it, since it was too late to cancel. I went to the Arborland GameStop, which had none in stock. Called Best Buy, likewise. I then called the Ypsilanti GameStop, was placed on hold... and waited. And waited, and waited. In fact, since I was already in the car, I started driving towards the store. The closer I got, the more I wondered if I was going to drive to the store before I got a response. I did.In fact, I queued up and reached the front of the line, my call still on hold. I asked if there were any used consoles with HDMI available. Robert, the employee helping me, said that there was one. He said hed have to run to the back to grab it. I think you have a call waiting on hold, I said, pointing to the blinking red light on the phone next to his terminal. He said that hed take care of it in a moment, and headed to the back. A few minutes later, he came back up with the console. I said no to the add-on requests, signed my receipt, and said, Now, can you answer the call on hold?Why, do you need to talk to her? Robert said.No, I -am- her. I actually drove to this store before you took my call off hold. Ive actually been holding for, I checked my phone, over 25 minutes, now. Thats just ridiculous, dont you think?Huh, thats weird, was all he said.Even more frustrated and racing against the clock, I took the console home, opened it up... and found that although I said that I needed an HDMI console, there was no cable in the box. Something he might have mentioned, given that Id specifically asked about HDMI. I can fix it later, I thought, hooking everything up to find... nada. The sound came through, but the screen was so dark I could just barely see the Xbox logo against a white background. There was no Kinect party.Today I took the console back. Robert handled my transaction again.Did it not work, he asked? Nope, the screen was so dark it was illegible, I said. I tried my old game cable, as well as the new one. Also, I said, you could have told me it came without an HDMI cable. First, Robert said it should have come with one in the box. I told him the box was right in front of him, look for himself. Then, he changed the story and said that I only asked for an HDMI-compatible Xbox. None of them come with HDMI. Whatever, I thought. Just handle my return. Robert said, Im trying my best to be nice to you, but if youre gonna be nasty I wont help you.Ill be the first to say that I was angry. Id say that being left on hold for as long as a television episode will do that, let alone the other issues with my purchase. He handed me the receipt for my return, and I saw that my address had been changed to not aloowed [sic]. I asked if he was going to mention that he was banning me from the store. He said, oh, I was going to because you were being nasty, but then you were nice at the end. Before leaving, I asked for the regional sales managers information to complain about my bad experience.Takeaway: wherever I spend my future gaming dollars, it wont be at GameStop. Ill be encouraging my friends to look at other options as well.
