I was ticked when I first walked in because there was an employee on the phone and he didnt even bother to acknowledge me. But the Manager came in and helped me expeditiously. Once he greeted me it took no more than 5-10 minutes for him to hear what I needed then check all 4 of my tires and provide additional air where necessary and wish me well!

Chad and Ben upfront are top notch in my book. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. Got me my tires at a good price and made sure they checked my car out thoroughly. Also Sean the guy who worked on my car is awesome. He brought my brake pad out to show me how bad they were and replaced them so I would be safe to drive. Quick and quality service. Will be recommending this shop to everyone

Haven’t been here in some time due to a bad experience but I was In a pinch and had to take it there and give them another chance. Let me tell you, I’m sooo glad I did. Every employee that I had an interaction with was friendly as could be. The manager, Ben Nathanson, went out of his way to go above and beyond and personally walked me into the shop to show me all of the things he and his tech did to diagnose a noise I was hearing. Oh, did I mention that they spent over an hour working on it....FOR FREE!!!!! All because they aligned and balanced my four tires. The noise was present before they touched my car and still went the extra mile to take great care of me and to make sure everything was right that they did, and it was. Very personable and knowledgeable staff. I’ve finally found that trustworthy garage everyone needs!!!!

Got a state inspection and oil change today. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the waiting room was comfortable and was playing the Star Wars prequels. Overall great experience. Definitely recommend.

I love this place. Ben and Chad are absolutely awesome. I found myself needing some emergency work they offered me financing took some money off the price everything they could do to help me out they did thanks guys.

Went there to get front brakes and rotters and 4 new tires. After completion my TPMS system light came on and wouldnt go off, I call Chad told me to come in he would turn it off with the scanner, so after returning he then notified me its nothing wrong they didnt cause it and I need to take it to a dealer. Definitely we not be going back. Go to get something fixed and leave with a new problem

I had an oil change from them. Fast forward and now my car is with a different mechanic who informed me that the last time my oil was changed the plugs or whatever were not put back on properly, the oil leaked, and my engine is dead. I tried to call and was told they didn’t have time to talk to me and “might” call me back. I’m contacting a lawyer.EDIT: in speaking with Ben, he has now accused us of tampering with the car.

I cant tell you how the service is here, since no one is here to open up the store. 0810 and not a soul to be seen, except for the 2 other people waiting in the parking lot with me. I have an appointment as do 4 other people all before or at 0900. I really try to be understanding but it ia now 0815 and not squeak.

Chad did such a great job with my tires. He was able to replace the tires quickly and get me on my way.

I was told they could do a an alignment and install tires on my dually truck and it would be done before 6 pm.They didn’t even start on it unit 530 pm.Now as I go to pick it up, it’s not done and suddenly it doesn’t fit on their alignment rack.They flat out lied.They lied to get the business and when it came time to do the job, they couldn’t do it.Do not use. Do not recommend.

If I could leave negative stars on this review I would.Lets start 3 weeks ago. I stopped in to get tires. They didnt have my tires in stock. This is no big deal, and has no bearing on my negative review (This is normal everywhere). What DOES affect my review is that they ordered my tires and said theyd call when they came in. 3 weeks later I stop in and ask when are they expecting my tires. The lady at the counter looked into it and found they had my rear tires, but not my front tires (2 different sizes). The order for the front tires was cancelled. And they didnt know. Let me say that again: they didnt know. So she arranged someone to pick up the requested tires locally the following day and scheduled my install for 6:00pm the following evening.Fast forward to 5:30pm the next day. I arrive early for my appointment to replace all 4 tires. There are 4 people ahead of me at the front counter. The only guy that can work the front counter is not even in the building. We were told by techs in the garage that he stepped out for a few minutes. Gone for 20+ minutes. One of the 4 left out of frustration as he only needed to pick up, and nobody would give him his keys.He does return and I finally get checked in. Was given a smart comment about having to send a guy to Mechanicsburg for my tires. Responded that its not my problem, they had 3 weeks to get the order together before I stepped in. Was told it will be 1 1/2 hours. Did I mention I had an appointment? Ok, whatever, my tires are in bad shape, they NEED replaced. Shortly after someone from the garage comes to pull my car in, covered in black, head to toe, and hops in. I try to keep my car clean, apparently thats not a concern here. No carpet covers, no seat cover. Just jump in and put your filthy hands on my door handles and steering wheel and your black shirt and pants all over my seat.One positive is the great view I had of my car in the shop. Im a smoker, and their smoking area is right outside the garage. What I saw, was a little concerning. No less than 4 people worked on my car over 1 1/2 hours. None of them making any significant progress before walking away. The garage was chaos. The techs were constantly being pulled from one job to another, not focusing on any one task for more than a few moments.So an hour and a half passes, and out comes my car. Yay! Finally its over! But alas, it was not. $150 install fee later and Im off. First thing is check my tire pressure display. WHAT THE F*$# (Picture included). One tire was 37, two were 45, and the 4th was 46. Prescribed PSI is 36. If Im paying for professional services in the realm of 150 dollars I shouldnt have to immediately stop at Sheetz to let air out of my tires and fill them properly. While filling them I found nice globs of what appears to be a kind of silicone grease. Back to the clean comment, I suppose it was too much to wipe that off. The sun set while I was waiting, cant wait to see how much of that got slung onto my body panels tomorrow in the daylight.All in all, totally negative visit. Will not return, will recommend others not.

I recently went here for tires, and an oil change. They did an excellent job, and did everything in a timely manner. One of the employees, Ben, really helped me pick out good tires for the winter, and another, Jenn, was super kind at checkout. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this location, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good price on tires.

Dropped a loose tire and wheel off Friday afternoon around 430 for a flat repair, guy said they can’t get to it tonight but will have it done tomorrow (Saturday) well here it is after closing time Saturday and they have not touched it yet. A loose carry in wheel is the easiest fastest thing to do yet here I wait! I’ve shopped at NTB for 20+ years but they’ve now lost a customer! Finally left the store at 6:40 when they close at 6

Great job getting me in and out for an oil change when you were swamped. Manager was very polite and explained things to all customers when they were checking out!

When I dropped my wheel off I had to tell them 3 times what was wrong with it. He kept saying something completely different. When I picked it up they did not remove any old wheel weights before balencing and installing new. The salesman was rude about it when I brought up the poor quality of the work.

I’ve been coming here for years! I’ve been buying tires for years! I just bought my 4th set of 4 tires this month. The staff are amazing and friendly especially that guy Ben behind the counter and now there’s two of them! They do alignments, tires and inspections! Every time I go in I always get great service and I’ve never ever had a problem with my vehicle afterwards. Please if you need tires or an alignment or even an inspection come on down to National Tire and Battery on Loucks road of of US 30.

Jenn was great. She worked to create a great package for me and was very accommodating. Happy with my new tires and brakes.I did experience a customer service issue when making my payment with a separate technician, but that was addressed by the manager.

Friendly service and everyone tries to work out how to save you as much on the bill as possible. Excellent follow up on repairs. Highly recommended.

So glad I came here. I had a nail in my tire which was causing a slow leak. I stopped by to see if there was any chance they could get me in for a repair. Even tough they were busy, they got me in and fixed within the hour! Everyone was so nice and I appreciate them for helping me out in this situation.

I did not like the customer service I got over the phone. Whoever I spoke to didn’t seem to know what they were doing claiming the tires weren’t ordered only to have the tires ordered twice. Wasn’t put on hold only to hear whoever The employee was to answer the phone to have a side conversation with another employee. The wait time wasn’t bad, but I got charged for the “disposal of tires” when I wanted the tires back. They gave be back my tires but didn’t offer to give me back the money. It wasn’t worth it to go back in to try and get a refund on the $6-8 dollar difference. I Personally won’t be going back.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Took my car for an oil change and specifically asked for a tire rotation. As I paid for my car I was told that my tires were good (gave measurements) but would probably need replaced in the summer. I was also told that my brakes look perfect (inspection would require taking the tire off). When I got my car home I noticed my tires werent rotated at all, I had 1 tire that was a spare so the fact it wasnt moved was more than obvious. I took my car back and Kayla said that maybe the mechanic missed it. When she came back she said that he didnt rotate my tires because he was recommending new tires, but the complete opposite was said when I paid. When the mechanic walked out to get my car I asked him why he would mark a service complete on my invoice knowing that he didnt do it. He said that he wrote that my tires were shredded and needed replaced, quite the opposite of what I was told when I paid. The fact that my tires needed replaced wasnt noted anywhere, and my invoice specifically said a tire rotation was completed. Needless to say I will never take my car here ever again. I cant even understand how they can blatantly lie about doing something when it wasnt done.Kayla was very nice and offered me a free oil change the next time I come back. I told her I will never come back, she asked to be given the opportunity to make it right. I know it wasnt her fault, but when I get lied to about service done on my car it cant be made right. It was only a tire rotation and I am grateful but I cant even imagine what other jobs they are lying about and taking peoples money.

Made an appointment for Wed. at 9am. I arrived on time and was met by an very rude worker. I was told my appointment was cancelled and there was no reason. The worst part was the front desk worker. He was the rudest smart mouth worker I have ever come across. He was old and should of known better, but he didnt. I ask if this was going to be free and his response was i dont know is it and after that he did nothing to help set a new appointment so I left very angry. I would recommend not going here while that dude is working for them. I got wheel alignment and they didnt do it right the first time, so I was trying to get it done right. I will never go back to this hole in the wall tire place and you shouldnt either.

Customer service isnt bad and the tire installation was fine, the issue i had was that it took 2 and a half hours rather than the quoted hour and a half. Their lot wasnt busy and only 2 other vehicles in the shop at the same time.

My tire pressure light kept coming on. I stopped in to have my tires check. They were very courteous. They came out to the parking lot to do a walk around of my vehicle, checking the tires. Then had me pull in and the check the pressure on all my tires and added air. All as a courtesy with good customer service. I highly recommend NTB.

The quality of the service has decreased drastically. I had purchased tires and opted for the 5-yr alignment package as I run some rough roads on a regular basis. Everything was great... best price on the tires (7 for a dually including spare), alignment and all done in just over 3 hrs.On 12/29/18 I think the truck in for an alignment check and adjustment after I replaced the front hinges and lower ball joints. The aligned the truck the times and each time the steering wheel was off-center (11 oclock and 1 oclock). I took the truck and drove it for almost 2 weeks and it did not drive the same people to the alignment.On 01/16/19 I took the truck back and they did the alignment again. I specifically asked if it was aligned and the steering wheel centered. They told me yes and I picked the truck up and left but the was no difference in the steering feel or the steering wheel centering. They wanted me to leave the truck with them to find and replace parts that most be bad.I took the truck to another shop and they aligned it with no trouble or parts needed.This shop seems to have less than knowledgeable people doing the work and trying to up-sell unneeded parts.*** UPDATE - 02/05/19 ***I responded today to the owner as requested and will update on the results from this effort.*** UPDATE - 10/21/19 ***I was reimbursed for the alignment that was completed at a different shop. The corporate portion of NTB did right for me and I appreciate that, but I will not be using their services anymore.

I had all four tires replaced here not long ago. I had to go back next day, because I noticed they had added charges onto my bill for things that I didnt ask for.That was the last time the wheels were off of the vehicle. Today, I found out that when the wheels were put back on, the mechanic cross-threaded one of the lug nuts. So that stud is stripped.On this vehicle, a 2015 Subaru Forester, the studs are integral with the hub assembly. So I just had to pay $700 to have the hub assembly replaced.

Bought tires there. Recently had an issue with my low air indicater lite staying on. Went in for help ask if they could air up my tires. The manager said I will have to make an appointment. What all I want is air and to make sure my new tires didnt have any other issues. Two day wait for an appointment. Person acted like he couldnt care less. As I was walking out he pointed at a business card and said if youre not happy call the store manager. Two day wait and make and appointment for air. Wow.

My complaint is not about employees or service. I own a Volvo and a Honda. I had a set of tires put both cars. No problem. Had about 1,000 miles on my Hondas tires. Coming down highway on inside lane in traffic. All of a sudden car starts to shudder, wasnt able to get to shoulder for over a mile, barrier in center, Route 15. Front driver side tire flat, destroyed side wall because I couldnt immediately slow or stop. Valve stem came apart. Pay NTB for new tire. Fast forward 1-1/2 years to this summer. Driving Honda on Route 462, car starts to shudder, was able to stop right away. Put spare on, cant find any tears or objects in tire. Go to fill with air, air blowing out from around valve stem. Same tire location, never gets along a curb, passenger side does. Short valve stems, do not stick out past tire. Faulty valve stems, not once, twice. Ready to replace tires on my Volvo since I drive it 80% of the time. Afraid to buy tires from NTB.

Having driven past NTB as part of my daily commute, I finally stopped in with a tire emergency. I discovered that the staff was incredibly courteous and helpful, and I was back on the road quicker than expected. Nothing but positive comments about my experience.

I called NRV to see if I could make an appointment to come in to have a new battery put in my truck. My battery had just left me sit and I had to be jumped. There was no battery life left I would not have been able to get started on my own. I was told that they weren’t sure when they could get me in but I could drop the vehicle off and they would get to it as soon as they could. My husband was nowhere around I didn’t have a way to get home I didn’t think that would work for me. After being placed on hold I was told that Mike the service manager said bring it in they will get to me immediately. I got there in about 15 minutes they took me immediately and I was there for less than 30 minutes. I left with a brand new battery and so happy.It has been a very long time since I have felt that people want to give great customer service. What I received was exceptional over-the-top great customer service. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the way that they took care of me today.

I had four tires replaced on my wife’s vehicle. The manager was helpful and they did a good job replacing the tires. I’ll be back again when I need tires. I would recommend this location.

I was traveling and had bad tire. Mike and his team expiditiously helped me so I could continue my trip. They were extremely courteous, honest and professional. If I lived in York, I would go to them for my car care needs. Impressive!

It took over 2 hours to do a simple oil change. Then I had to wait while the salesman helped a former employee ring up her service instead of ringing me out....great customer service there.

I use NTB throughout the USA while I travel for work. They have always done good work and give good advice. This is my first trip to this location. The people were great. They kept me up to date on issues with my truck. They didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. There is also stuff to do around the shop if you are waiting. I will be back.

They’ll lie about your battery needing replaced then say they’ll need to jump it to get you out of there. Beware of this place.

The service was good, I gave a low rating because there was an area manager in that made me feel embarrassed to be in the waiting area. He demeaned and insulted the shop employees, not caring that there were customers waiting that could hear him.I would have walked out if I were the ones he was demeaning. I can’t believe that there are managers that still think the only way to manage people is to ridicule and embarrass them. Credit to the employees that took the abuse without physical retaliation. Shame on that area manager.

Took my vehicle there twice for a two wheel alignment. First time I needed ball joints. Fine. Fixed that and replaced tie rod ends and came back. They held my vehicle for 4 hours and decided to tell me that they are incapable of adjusting a 21mm tie rod end and a jam nut that is 1 in size. So a waste of my time and fuel.

I was in just recently to get 4 new tires and they had the best deal around. The staff informed me there would be a wait to get the tires installed because I had made an appointment online and the gentleman explained when people do that the website doesnt really inform them when they get an appointment but he will try to get my car in as fast as he can and was very apologetic. Knowing its a busy Saturday morning I expected that and planned accordingly ahead of time but I couldnt express how much I appreciated his honesty and customer service. He even went above and beyond to escort me to my vehicle and show me my struts were not looking so good and gave me an estimate. Not once was he pushy like other servicemen Ive come across and showed me everything and educated me. Although the wait time was a little over 3 hours they always kept me updated along the way! I would just recommend to call and make an appointment if youd like the service done without being shoved into the middle of their busy morning like it does online! Very happy and would recommend to anyone!

I bought 4 tires about 3 or 4 months ago. The front right tire sensor went out after the new tires were installed. Was told by sales manager that all 4 tire sensors needed replaced. I didnt have enough money then to fix. Came back for bad sensor lose in wheel that was identified by different auto place. Told the technician manager about the issue. Took tire off, showed sensor was not damaged from being lose. Had a discussion about needing all 4 tire sensors replaced to fix the one bad one...Told only need to replace the one. Manager explained everything and kindly replaced bad tire sensor for free for my time and inconvenience, even after I said I would buy new one. Thanks a lot for some honesty and integrity in the business of making money...

Too slow. I scheduled an appointment for 1:30 to have 2 tires swapped, still sitting here at 3:06. I think they just have just started the swap because only 5 minutes ago they came and spoke to me about some damage they identified.

Tire emergency? Wanna go somewhere where the employees treat you like a priority? Check out NTB. Im about to leave LA fitness and discover I have a flat tire and no tools to replace it with. So I slowly drive over to NTB and despite initially being told it would be at least an hour wait before they could even get my car in due to having only two technicians, the store manager (I believe his name is Gabriel) took it upon himself to switch out the tire on the spot. In and out within half an hour. I would also like to give a shout out to all the employees working that day 5/13/2019 around 4 pm (I didnt get the ladies name but the gentleman was Joseph). All were courteous and helpful. One of the technicians even took a time out from the car he was working on to help out. Happy customer here. Check them out. Youll be happy you did.

Went in 7 months ago without my boyfriend to Just get tires and they said I needed tie rods on both sides and only did 1 side n charged me for both sides and I call in today and the manger hung up on me. He told me they are over booked and I would have to leave my car there when I told them that was my only vehicle. Just to do a rotation & balance. Will not be going back.

The service itself is good, but the process of making an appointment and them holding to that appointment time is not even close. One guy in the waiting area had been sitting for 2 hours and still hadnt seen his car move. I ended up leaving my car there and coming back later. Seems like they overbook. Also dont bthonk the store recognize when you set up an appointment online. Needs fixed.

Great service here. My day started bad with a car that wouldnt start. I called in the morning about my battery. I asked about testing and purchasing a new battery. Battery, starter, and alternator testing is free. I was told to come in after 11 and my battery could get tested. I went in after 11 and, even though they were busy, they were able to get my battery tested and replaced fairly quickly. I wish that I could remember the names of the gentlemen that helped, but unfortunately I cant; however, they were great.

‘Ordered’ a tire for me, got exact price quote, assured it would be available “1 - 2 days.” 3 days later after not hearing from them as promised, I called, and was told that they have no record of me calling, no customer account, no tire ordered, nothing. I had to spend 15 minutes on hold to even get to this point. I had saved their name, number, etc in my contacts. I 100% set everything up right and called the identical NTB back. Very bad customer service experience.

Worst service ever. Don’t even deserve one star. People had a bad attitude.

Booked an appointment 2 days in advance for state and emissions inspection. Arrive early and wait half an hour to even be acknowledged, but told that it would be done an hour and a half after appointment time. Show up right at that time, they hadnt even taken it in to start the inspection, and couldnt be bothered to call and inform me of the delay. Acted like I was at fault for expecting to have vehicle serviced as I was assured it would be. I picked up my car and will take it elsewhere, this place and those service representatives are a complete joke and a waste of time.

Nice clean shop, friendly people

I came in for a tire balance with an appointment. After waiting almost three hours the technician informed me that they could only get two of my wheels off because they stripped the screws holding on my centercaps. I asked them to balance the two that they took off and while I was watching the technician removed my valve stems. After pointing out that this was unnecessary for a tire balance they replaced the valve stems. Upon leaving my tps light came on. I went to the closest gas station to get more air and noticed they hadnt tightened any of the screws holding on my centercaps and screws were missing. The manager offered me a free oil change for my trouble. I made an appointment with this manager for my oil change and when I arrived was informed that I was not in the system and if I leave my vehicle they might be able to get to it today. This is by far the worst experience I have had at a repair facility. The technicians on site were highly unqualified and the management didnt seem much better. Big waste of money on the lifetime tire balance as I will never bring one of my vehicles here again.

I came in for an estimate on the front brakes. I dont feel that the estimate was fair. Way overpriced. I had a mechanic friend of mine do it and it took him 20 minutes for a total of $190. $100 for rotors, $40 for the brakes, and I paid him $50. The quote from NTB was over $450.

I just needed a tire rotation. Made an appointment. Wouldnt get to it for two hours; recommended I bring it in on a Sunday morning. I did so, called a few times during the day. They still didnt get to it. When they did, they wouldnt rotate them because the front tires were too worn . That was the whole point, to get the rear ones in front. Also needed the tpms sensors checked which they did but wouldnt replace as it was a two hour job to do and outrageously expensive. They close at 6 and didnt get out of there till about that time. They had all day and did nothing and didnt call me earlier. The only reason theyre getting two stars is at least they didnt charge anything.

I went to ntb to purchase 2 new fromt tires. The gentleman was very nice and stated that right now the tire I need is buy 2 get 2 free. That I could keep the other 2 tires that had less then 5k miles on as spare tires so I agreed. Tires were installed the next day. When I picked up the car I assumed the 2 barely used tires where put in the trunk. To my surprise they were not. When I called to question this I was advised the tires were sent away to be recycled. I asked how I would be compensated for 2 new tires that they sent to be recycled. Was to receive a call back as to what they could do for me. NEVER RECIEVED LTHAT CALL!! I will NEVER utilize another NTB!!

I purchased a set of Continental tires at another NTB location. I lost the receipt so I wasnt sure if I purchased the road hazard warranty. When I got a screw in a tire, I was near the York location. The manager, Greg Lewis, took my car in quickly and patched the hole and rotated the tires. All for free. He was honest about the fact that I did have road hazard coverage. Very satisfied.

Stay away from this location!Dont expect your appt time to be your appt time here. Often they will deny the time and tell you they need the car all day. Poorly managed shop!Edit...shared story with corporate as requested below and I can understand why this company is ran so poorly now. They offered a discount card to be used at a future time as a gesture of Goodwill which was considerably lacking and self serving based on my full visit story here.

Not sure why so many negative reviews to be found for this place, these people were awesome. Kept us informed, gave good advice, work completed on time.

Management and staff are lights out! Well trained, honest and professional. My family and I have been going here for years. Highly recommend.

I have patronized NTB over the years and have come to rely upon them for the care of my automobiles. Their computer network is extremely value-added and Ive benefited from it while traveling, once for a tire that when out of balance and another time after flying back to Philadelphia Airport my car had an emissions problem and a nearby NTB was able to look at and fix the problem late at night and amazing did not charge me...all due to the computer network showing that the recent repairs were still covered. I have found the store managers to be professional and value their advise. As you can tell, Im a very satisfied customer.

I came in at my appointment time and waited for about 20 minutes because there was nobody there, after I call the shop phone and asked for some one to help me I was told that they are busy and told me to come back another time even thought I had an appointment scheduled... I went to Jiffy Lube next door, much better service and they actually did their job. I dont recommend NTB to anybody it sucks...

Was taking my car here for yearsNot only are the most expensive place around they try to lie up sell you left and rightOne time was just needing a break job and magically my master cylinder suddenly was going out and brakes were going to the floor once they were working on it. My brakes werent going to the floor prior to getting there I had fine pressure but magically once they were working on it even after they did my breaks now all the sudden they go to the floor and my break job goes from 300 as quoted to 900. Manager there an older black gentleman is about as shady as they come stay away from this place. Honesty goes a long way and some of your customers actually know about working on cars as they sit there in the waiting room and watch you guys try to beat all the women and old man and naïve customers in the head

DO NOT COME HERE!! Pathetic service and general customer EXPERIENCE. Was told 2 hours and now it past 6 hours to install four tires on a Honda civic.... Are you kidding me? Helen Keller could have these tires mounted and balanced in this time and we would be on our way. No phone calls from the manager to let us know they are behind. We will not RETURN. Terrible people with pathetic sense of customer service!
