My vehicle flooded about 5 months ago and I needed a new car immediately as I travel over 100 miles a day for work. A friend of mine referred me to Chris, so I gave him a call and explained to him the situation that I needed a new, reliable vehicle quickly that wasnt going to cost me a fortune. Chris was personable and eager to help and was able to find me a 1 owner 2015 Hyundai Sonata in great condition in less than a week. His service department took care of all maintenance (4 new tires, new brakes and battery) and he gave me an unbelievable deal on the car. Buying my car after not driving for a very long time was a big step and Chris made it very easy for me. RMV not so much lol. I had a car I liked and he made it happen for me in just a couple of hours, no small feat with my bad credit. After waiting a little more than a week to pick up my car (again registry fault because of Covid) we had a little bit of a rocky start. My girlfriend got stranded a couple of towns away saying it wouldnt start. Chris jumped and got it towed to his service center. It was the battery cable that came loose. When I met with Chris later on he heard a leak in the exhaust that wasnt there when I test drove it and immediately had his guys on it to be replaced. The car was inspected today no problem.I have already recommended Chris to a family member looking for a car and am now recommending him here to anyone searching reviews like I did to find him.The whole process was fairly easy and enjoyable. I never felt pressured to buy something I didnt want or for that matter to buy anything. He answered all of my dumb questions and even emailed the registry and the governors office on my behalf for having to wait so long.You owe it to yourself to go check Chriss lot before you decide on any other lots around the area.

We went into Chris Goodnows auto sales to look at a BMW for our daughter on Thursday we sat down with the owner not a pushy sales person we agreed on a price we bought the car Chris wouldn’t let us take the car till it went through his service department mind you this was at 2:00 in the afternoon on he sent the car car to his service department he called me at 3:30 and told me the car needed 2 tires and the front brakes had like 50%life left so he was going to replace them and we couldn’t have the car till the work was completed we agreed lo and behold at 8:30 Friday morning 5/14/2021 my phone rings and I said to my self who the heck is calling me this early it was Chris Goodnow him self telling me my daughters car was alset I go to pick up the car and to my surprise there wasn’t 2 new tires there was 4 brand new tires on the car and they aren’t Walmart specaials he also put new wipers and an oil change this man went well beyond what he had to do for us and to make sure our 18 year old daughter was safe Dave at his service department is top notch in my. Just a word to wise, we purchased a 2011 Ford Expedition last May from Chris Goodnow Auto Sales. We realize this was not a new vehicle, and of course we expected some issues...but as of April, 2021, the tail gate and doors are rusting. It is obvious that someone painted over the rust to hide it because the tire pressure stickers inside the door were painted over. Please do your due diligence and have a mechanic/body shop look at your car before you purchase. Very disappointed.

I recently purchased my third vehicle from Chris and as always I am beyond pleased with the service hes provided me. I purchased my 2012 Mercedes-Benz C300 last month for an outstanding price (well below book value). After about a week of driving it, I had an issue with the radio and the audio not working. I called Chris and he told me to bring the car down to his shop and he would take care of everything. I brought my car in the next day, his mechanic Bill diagnosed the issue, ordered new parts and fixed my car free of charge. This is always the over the top customer service Chris has provided me in the 6 years Ive bought and serviced my cars from him. Wont buy or service from anywhere else!

It is 2019 and most people start/shop online for most things and sometimes do not even pick up the phone. Purchased a 2012 mercedes c300 from Chris about a year ago. I just had my first issue with the vehicle where my radio dial wouldnt work. I brought my vehicle to the mercedes dealership in Burlington and was told the repair would be over $1,500 to fix. I called Chris and he had me bring my vehicle to his shop where he replaced the part in a few hours and it cost me a fraction of the cost. I usually dont write reviews, but I was taken back with how outstanding the customer service was. I will be going back to Chris for all my future service needs and future vehicle purchases. I went to lunch at the 99 Restaurant and got back into my car with my battery light on and the voltage was fluctuating, I decided to go next door to Goodnows Service Center and right away was diagnosed as the alternator was going. The mechanic --Billy had the part ordered and we set the appointment up for the following day and cars running great now!

If I couldve chosen no stars I would have. I purchased a car in May 2017. They have a rapid sale process but very slow on the repair issues. I suspect so that the 30 day warranty runs out and that they can then charge you for hidden issues. My major concern was safety for my son. I was told its in mint shape, Ill make sure the brakes are in good shape. On the very day of delivery the window fell and would not go up. Was told this was not under warranty but they fixed it. Multiple times! Dont trust them. My new mechanic five months later found - AXLE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, BALL JOINTS OBLITERATED, RADIATOR CRACKED, AND THE WRONG PART USED TO FIX THE WINDOW! (which still didnt work). New mechanic stated these issues were definitely there when you purchased the car. He gave me the parts and said to save them. New mechanic fixed the window the first time with the correct part. Asked Chris for the safety check he supposedly did. He completely ignored me. Filed BBB complaint. There are far better and less expensive places to shop. DO IT FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!! Unscrupulous business practices.

I was devastated when my van was totaled. I bought it used at Chris Goodnows lot a few years ago and it was almost paid off. I called them again to see if they could help me out. Todd was awesome at getting the deal done and getting me on the road. He was laid back no hassle type of guy. Not to mention, I had to have another van because my son is special needs. Purchased a car from Chris at the end of summer last year. Not only has dealing with the customer service been a breeze, but been treated exceptionally well at both locations. Having bought a 2009 BMW, proper maintenance and service is necessary. The service Manager and the mechanics at the auto repair location have taken care of everything I have needed done with no issues. Car has been running perfect since I bought it, and I get my oil and fluid changes done regularly through Chris and it’s always a pleasure. In my experience most 1 star reviews I have read on here seem to be shady customers and or people with some wild stories that don’t seem to have the pieces put together. So far Ive bought 2 vehicles from Chris. The first experience was good. Everything went smooth. Good service and a good vehicle.The second experience turned to be a nightmare. The service was still good but the vehicle, a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee resulted in a couple of towing and soon to be the purchase of a new transmission.From the very beginning Ive notice the defect so I brought it up to Chris who fixed the problem. Of course, it got worst after the warranty expired and now I must come up with $3000 for a rebuilt transmission.I will not return to Chris car dealer because of the 50/50 chance of success ...or failure.

Theyre very quick to sell you a car but very unwilling to fix your car as soon as you buy it. My car got the check engine sign after I bought the car, I took it there and they gave me some instructions to do and see if the sign would come up again, and it did. When I went to tell them that it still has the problem, oops out of warranty!!

Havent purchased a used car in many years, this place was highly recommended​ by my cousin. Very dissatisfied, issues with the car from day one, brought back a few times they just put a bandaid on it to get passed the 30 day warranty. Would not recommend them to anyone. Lesson learned the hard way!

What a pathetic liar, The CD player was broken at time of pick up. Secondly the final issue was a bad alternator which I fixed for $200. Which this loser previously charged me almost $700 for nothing. No one would drive a car with no gas, as long as Ive been driving I never ran out of gas once. Then his mechanic admitted his mistakes and stated that he would fix it after work for no charge after work. He shows up smoking a joint and tells me he would come out in alternator the following day. The next day after multiple calls he calls back and says his house was robbed😉. And that he could not make it because he couldnt drive because of a suspended license. I told him that I would not do business with him anymore and I rather pay . Stay far away!!!

A mechanic you are now employing worked on my car and screwed it up, my intention was to call give him a piece of my mind. He wasted no time and told me he left the shop that he was working for and invited me to see him at your shop. Sir it was the forth time he replaced the same hubs. His only response then was don’t tell the owners. I was at a shop in uxbridge to get my tires rotated I didnt want to go back to see Joe. The tech told me the last guy that worked on my car installed my front hub incorrectly DONT DRIVE THE CAR he said my child and I could have got killed, also he didn’t put cotter pins in. Your mechanic Joe told me he was working for you. Sir when I called the shop that I paid to do the job a woman in the office said she also had been a victim of his deception and incompetency that shop immediately came and picked up my vehicle with a flatbed the driver also told me he didn’t tighten up wheels at a VW dealership they found this out after he was hired, and said they very much regretted hiring your mechanic Joe.I found out he was fired from VW. I returned to the shop that I paid I was shown a series of photos (very scary) and a list of names of people he did faulty repairs. So one can only come to the conclusion that you Sir never checked up on him. You should expect more people to come forward. I know there is a long list he’s telling everybody that calls his cell phone where he is now. Maybe the newspaper should be called I feel he could kill somebody. He should be banned for life from working on cars

Strate forward guy Chris is he sold me a cleen truck. When the left blinker whent out he fixed it no problem and when the belt started to make a squeeking sound he replaced the belt. No problem other than thows 2 small things the truck has been awsome I would by a nuther truck from him agen!

My review is of an unsatisfactory review. I drove my vehicle in for repairs, with one concerning one of my axles (which was a recommended repair from Goodnow Auto Services). After replacing my axle, about 2 days later I heard a whirring sort of grinding noise as my tires would rotate (which, the sound, was not present prior to repairs concerning the axle). I later scheduled an appointment to have them check it out. They determined it was a center bearing (which a Midas certified mechanic said was part of the axle installed and Goodnow mechanics said was not, as in separate from the axle). And instead of fixing what may have been a mistake, they quoted me for another $450 (just about) stating that another part needed to be installed and replaced that was separate from the axle. The original repair of my axle had already cost me around $313, that of which includes a coupon for $25.00 off that I previously got in the mail. As a result, I decided to decline their offer and refused further repairs. I will be taking Goodnow Auto Services to court.

This guys website is a complete lie. It says he can get anyone financing. Really? NOT ME. It says you dont deal with any sales reps or managers. Really? I never even spoke to the owner, not even once. No gimmicks or games? THEY TRIED TO GET ME TO BUY A CAR I DIDNT EVEN TEST DRIVE YET AND WANTED US TO LIE ON THE CREDIT APPLICATION!!! There vehicles are WAY overpriced..Im not sure where theyre getting prices from but they are absolutely ABSURD. And Alison, the reason why your car was a piece of garbage is because they dont service the vehicles, at all. They wash them and put them on the lot. I know this because the vehicle I almost bought had bald tires and squealing brakes...when we said something they just said it would pass inspection. OF COURSE IT WILL SINCE YOU TAKE IT IN FOR THE INSPECTION! Do you see any garage attached to that building? Exactly my point. Ill never go back again. Did I mention they lowballed me on my trade in? Crooks.

After reading that last review I was very nervous because I had just purchased a car from them and an engine light came on. So I investigated Donnas complaint with the BBB and it turns out her complaint was found to be unsubstantiated. SO I did take my nissan sentra back in for an adjustment, they didnt try to upsell me or pressure me into getting anything more than i asked for. They even waived the warranty fee. Very accomodating staff, i felt at ease. Ill be bringing my car back to them, its good to know there are still places around you can trust!!

I want to buy a car from them and he guaranteed me I would get it I told him to use auto loan cuz thats who went through the first time I financed a car and they approved me. so when I paid my first car off they said if you ever want another car your interest rates will be half of what they were the first time u went through us so make sure you come to work well with your care of me tried $15 auto loan places and nobody wants to give me one because I have bad credit anyhow he had my title I asked him to mail it to me 12 times okay left my address text you my address they never sent it I called him a month-and-a-half later and said I need that title Im going to come up pick it up he said okay then all the sudden I see so Im going to come tomorrow he goes I mailed that out to you. I said you just told me to come pick it up. so then he says oh I mailed it out a week and a half ago. I find it kind of funny lbecause a month ago and you told me you mailed it out then !!!!! I never received my title back and they dont have it and they lost it. Needless to say I didnt get a call from him I told him forget it I dont want one he was still putting applications in for loans for me after I told him 5 times I didnt want a car I was going to wait and I kept getting letters from all these different loan banks in all kinds of things getting that I was denied and this is like two months later and he was still applying for me to get a loan for a car that I kept saying I dont want theyre just very pushy they dont take no for an answer and if you dont buy a car from them and you happen to leave your title there dont think hes going to get it back unless you drive out the next day and he grabbed it because if you dont they will not mail it to you hell dump it and I find their prices on cars are kind of high as I went to Somerville Johns Auto in Somerville and I got a 2002 Toyota RAV4 for 9000 and it had ninety nine thousand miles on it and this was in 2010 so they had better product out there they work with you so I recommend Johns Auto in Somerville
