Great people, brought my Nissan Quest in for what I thought was a water pump. Turned out to be a cracked radiator. I bit spendy on the labor but turned the car around in a day so two thumbs-up.

Been looking for a good mechanic that is fair and honest. I think I finally found them. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Just had my transmission replaced and so far so good. I plan on using C&T again, but hopefully not for a while. 😁

I am impressed with the staff, thorough, courteous and for a service very reasonable. Wasnt thrilled with taking 5 days but the job was very Labor intensive add parts were slower getting there and you have 5 days. Covered all the bases we addressed and they even split cost for one we werent aware of

Inaccurate quote - said one price to get me in the door then doubled it. Terrible at answering the phone or providing any updates. In the end left a voicemail saying my car was ready a week later, so when I got there told me that they made a mistake.. and there was a delay with the part and hadn’t started yet. Have no clue how they are in business.

Great, honest mechanic shop. Ive taken my vehicles to them for years and theyve never done work that didnt need to be done, and the work that did need to be done is always top quality.

Been going to them for 8 years or so. All but once in this entire time they’ve had work done within 24 hours of drop off. They’re always happy to answer all of my annoying and detailed questions about their proposed repairs. Never had any issues with the work they’ve DK e and they always give a fair price.C&T is the gold-standard for mom-and-pop, locally owned and operated car repair shop.

My family and I have been customers here for almost 15 years. They have always been very accommodating and friendly. They price matched a job and saved me quite a bit of money just the other day. Promised me they would be done in a n hour and made good on that promise even though I muself had to show up 30 mins later than my scheduled appointment.

I have been taking my truck to C&T auto for over 12 years. I had several items recently repaired with wheel bearings, steering linkages, and power steering. My truck is driving great at 200000 miles. I always feel they will do the work that needs to be done. I never feel they are adding work. I never feel “upsold.” I always feel the quote is right. I have often found I pay slightly less than quoted. They have been my “go-to” mechanics for 12 years and I will continue to use and trust them for years to come!

I dropped my car off the night before I booked in the service. I had let Jerome know I needed it back before the end of the day that next day. It was for Evac and recharge of A/C. I called him just before 4:00 pm that next day and he said, I was just about to call you. (heard that before/not true). He had not tried to hook it up to the machine until late in the day, and now he didnt have the necessary fittings. After getting it charged he said it held pressure, but the compressor did not come on. Said it was going to be an extra $45 to diagnose. No problem. Just before we got off the phone he said shouldnt be more than $200. RED FLAG. How do you know how much its going to be if you havent diagnosed it yet??? Then he said with the refrigerant it was $110 as of that point. Okay. Next morning he called and said it was ready. I get there and he says that will be $225 or something. Wait. Last total you gave me was $110. I told him he had missed the opportunity by not putting the car on the machine until late in the day, which delayed me, and then he made a few different mistakes not getting accurate quotes up front before proceeding with the next step. When I told him the transaction wasnt handled appropriately, he said, You dont have to be a f****** d*** about it. This was the only time Ive taken my car there...And the last.

Want in on Friday because my car was shaking. Went to Autozone and got the code read then went to this place. Autozones code said it would be my cat thar was bad.These guys read the code and said 500 for a new cat. They read the code with their own reader and found it was a cylinder misfire. Said they could do the job for 150.Tightened the ignition coils for me and told me to come back Monday to get better spark plugs put in (mine were cheap and bad quality). After some deliberation they said I only had to pay the labor fee and that was 31 dollars. On Monday I got all 4 sparkplugs replaced and found out that one of the ignition coils were bad. One of Marcus buddies threw a random nissan one he had in reserve on for me.Final total was $20.95. Marcus is kind and helpful; oil changes seem to be decently cheap too. I went from 500 dollars to paying $20.95, Id say it was a good deal.

They always repair what the issue is.. never a laundry list of it might be where you have to go back because the car is still has the problem. I found to be honest and fairly quick with repairs

Took my 99 expedition there yesterday for AC diagnostic the guy at the counter was the one that helped me dont remember his name.So first off told him I was there to get a diagnose on why my AC wasnt working, after about twenty minutes told me he had it charging and showed I was two pounds low so he was recharging it ( didnt ask me if thats what I wanted to do but figured ok it needed it) then he told me that the shrader valve was bad and that needed to be changed so I said ok. After about another twenty minutes he came back said ok its blowing cold and we fixed your problem paid $92. Before I even left I the driveway I noticed that my rear AC was blowing hot air but the front was cold, so I go in tell him and he said something about a flap or something and that would be a lot more labor so I said Id talk to my husband first.So I left go back to work after I got off work go out to start my expedition and BAM there goes my AC again so they didnt fix the problem nor did they even diagnosed the problem correctly. My husband called him to tell him what just happened and this guy told him it was probably the compressor and that he will need to call and find out a price told my husband that he would work with us since I was just there and paid almost $100 for nothing and then told him should be able to get it fixed for around $400. Today he tells my husband is going to be over $600 to fix it cause they need to replace the whole system to just be safe. Im so mad I will be calling to talk to the owner next and will update my review after but right now I would not refer them to anyone and Sadly they came highly recommended.

Needed help fixing my friends wiper blades, the gentleman that fixed her car was very nice and professional. He identified the problem almost immediately as a loose nut and fixed it in less than five minutes. He didnt even charge us because it was such an easy fix. Another repair shop quoted $5000 for transmission repair and a week to do work. This shop heard me in desire to keep expenses down. Repair was $1500 and finished same day.

Took my car in to have them diagnose the reason my PCM keeps resetting every time I turn off the ignition. The mechanic replaced the fuses for the left and right stop/turn signal for the towing connector. Told me that it should be fixed. Wanted more money when I took it back. I did get my money back however. Only positive thing to come from this. I should have known better when I saw their shop. Parts of engines, transmissions, and other assorted junk laying everywhere outside. Building looks like a run down dog kennel. Gomer and Goober could run circles around these clowns.

My wife and I call this Cash and Take auto. They failed to repair 2 separate vehicles properly on numerous occasions and did not stand behind their work. We brought these two cars in on multiple occasions for the same issues. We later found out they didnt ever repair the problems. We also found they broke the oil filler tube on one vehicle causing water to get in the oil and damage the engine and cost us over $4k. They also failed to find a simple clogged intake valve causing stuttering and idle issues on the other car. All they did was turn up the idle speed. We ended up taking both vehicles elsewhere for repairs. The repairs done elsewhere were cheaper and ACTUALLY FIXED the problems! Never again will they Cash & Take us.

So far so good, they started to work on my car the same day I brought it in. I feel like they charged me a fair price.

I took my 97 Ford Ranger in to C&T on February 20th. I wanted all the clutch components replaced. I told Chad there was no hurry but he had it ready on February 22nd. I picked up a friend to drive the truck home so I didnt drive it until Friday 23rd. I realized at once the clutch still had air in the hydraulic system because you had to push the pedal all the way to the floorboard to get the clutch to disengage and then it was still hard to get it to go into reverse. It was too late to call C&T and since I needed the truck on Monday and didnt want to waste two days dropping it off and picking it up I decided to just bleed it properly myself. So I bought a vacuum bleeder and did it myself. In the process I discovered they had NOT refilled the reservoir after their feeble bleeding. They had NOT used tubing to drain the bleeder valve and had just let the fluid squirt under the truck. They had NOT replaced the bleeder valve dust cover and worst of all had NOT replaced the inspection port rubber plug. Without this plug you can almost guarantee an early clutch failure from road grime and with a good potential to ruin the transmission pilot shaft.I called Chad Monday morning and told him about the air in the clutch system and that had been corrected but I needed the rubber plug (There doesnt seem to be anyplace but junkyards to find them). He said he would check and call me back. He couldnt locate my plug the mechanic tossed but did go to extra effort to find one, Thanks Chad! In one review I said he didnt call back but he did the next day, it just took him a while to find the hard to locate part, Sorry about that Chad, you are great. I do wonder how many people that gave C&T five stars have parts missing they just havent noticed. After all, if they hadnt screwed up the clutch bleeding I wouldnt have known they didnt replace the rubber plug and I am sure they would have cheerfully replaced the clutch when it failed. Yeah, right!

Alittle late posting this, but reviews help. Very dissatisfied with this business. Car wouldnt start, had it towed to shop, was told it was cable to battery. So we paid $200 to get other things fixed. A couple of days later, car wouldnt start again, had it towed to shop again, and was told it was the starter, so we paid $300 + to be fixed. A few days later, car wouldnt start again. A friend who just happen to be there helping us move, flipped on a switch, and car has been running every since. I dont recommend them.

Complete rip off! They wanted $1800 to replace 2 for doors with junkyard doors. A couple other repair shops quoted $600-800 for the exact same job.

After being a loyal customer for 7 years, maintaining 3 cars and sending numerous friends to C&T I can no longer stand behind them because they do not stand behind their work.On 8/16/12, I took my Nissan Titan in for a basic routine transmission flush as I had just hit 100k and planned to take on a trip. That evening as I crossed over Monteagle in TN, the transmission started slipping heavily. As I pulled into a station I noted that my engine compartment was now covered in fluid and the entire truck smelled like it was burning. We limped into a local motel with my 8 month old and 4 year old for the night. The next day we had it towed (at our expense) to the local dealership where they determined the hose had not been connected properly after the flush and the fluid had all leaked out. They replaced the hose and topped it off but stated permanent damage had likely been done and it was a matter of time. The transmission died 8/19/12 on the way home, requiring a complete rebuild ($3200).Randy stated that he could not afford to help me. He offered to pay for the fluid top off, hose replacement and hotel (250). A mere 8% of the entire repair cost due to their screw up. He said they are running a small business and simply could not afford it. He would not meet us halfway or consider any compromise. Do I think it was an honest mistake? Absolutely! I think Harold does an excellent job. But everyone makes mistakes. How can I trust them when they screw something up in a major way and leave us out in the cold with no help to fix it? My family did not have this $3,433.34 for their mistake in our budget.I hope that Randy and his family enjoyed their vacation last week. Because of their mistake and unwillingness to help at all to pay for the damage we will be missing out on ours.

I visit here after recommendation from a friend. Its hard to find good honest mechanics in my area. Well to make a long story short these people are not honest. They gave me a quote that was a little higher than their competitors in the area. And to add insult to injury my wife went to pay for the bill and the shop gave her $10 less than what she was supposed to pay. Im not crying over $10, in fact I probably would have given it as a tip, but its the principle of the matter. My wife did call to complain after she noticed was short-changed. The cashier laughed and told her to come back and get the 10 dollars. Not a respectable way to do business.

I used to take my car here to be serviced until I discovered they were lying about things that were wrong and doing p*** poor jobs on the repair work they did perform. I now call them Cash & Take.

Chad was the one who helped me. They got me right in for a tire rotation and sent me on my way. I will be back for sure for future work, major or minor.

We brought our van in with a thumping noise that happened when we turned. Fearing a broken motor mount or a bad power steering pump, we brought it to C&T who have taken care of us many times. Instead of replacing the pump, they greased the axle and referred us to the dealer since the pump was still under warranty. I have a feeling if we took it a chain store they would have not done the same!

This is not a place that you would want to bring your vehicle. They have no idea for how to repair vehicles. And, they wont tell you this until you have released your vehicle to them. My engine still leaks oil.

I had a critical sensor fail on my vehicle while moving, and local friends recommended C&T. The shop isnt beautiful (auto work isnt beautiful), but they were easy to deal with and got the job done right.

Dropped off my car around noon... Fixed and on the road again by noon the next day!
