Called and asked for used laptops. The female on phonè was useless in telling me what was available and not friendly at all to answer questions. The store may sell more if she is Fired or Had some product knowledge, and a better attitude.

The techs have always been very helpful and knowledgeable. Also great deals on rebuilt desktops and laptops.

A great place to go whether you bought your equipment from them or not. They really want you to have a good experience and keep your computer needs working for you at a very reasonable price.

Took my laptop in for running slow. Wanted to give to my son for college. Melissa advised me they would look everything over and if everything else was working correctly it would be this amount. Son showed up to pick it up in1 day turn around (which was extremely fast) and it was the price we were quoted. Took laptop home and has been working fabulous ever since. Definitely worth going to check this shop out for all your computer needs.

Ok After being in I.T. for over 35 years and having a really bad back I called to get a quote to have a front case fan replaced. all I got was Gee we dont know you have to pay $40.00 for a diagnostic because we cant figure out how much a standard fan costs $20.00 and cant figure out what 1/2 hour of labor cost. REALLY??? These people scream we are going to over charge you and try to milk you for as much as we can. AVOID them like the plague.

Blaming everything on the postal questions has nothing to do with lacking common courtesy. Also, those shields do not extend the length of the counter, nor is a 24x24 shield by the cash drawer a substitute for a mask. But hey, doesn’t look like you’ve ever let facts get in the way of your (incorrect) opinion. Your business has nothing to do with the postal service? I had absolutely no idea that the post office could arbitrarily decide to come into a business and make it an authorized drop off location. Whoever runs this business acts like a 10 year old and has the IQ to match.

Poor customer service. They didnt even want to look my comouter over, instead they stayed behind a counter that was at least 10 feet, propably more and quoted prices at me without even looking my laptop over. Went to another computer repair on Country Club, Affordable PC Services, better results.The Computer Place was not friendly or welcoming at all. Tuned me off from giving them my business.And in response to the owner...My laptop is not old, unless you consider 6 months old. But since you didnt even look at my machine, there was no way you even knew what type it was.Also, In fully aware of the restrictions put in place by the governor of NC. My laptop was placed on a counter, I was the required distance away, sanitizer was used as well as masks and it was laziness that lost my business with your company.

Stay away,son bought a used computer from this place.Wiped the screen off with a paper towel and the screen fizzed.Took it back and they said will fix for 200.00,or hook it up to another screen for 200. Had it for less than a week. 1 star for this place IF I have to.

Super great people here and inexpensive service

Honest and trustworthy business; I have been able to get computers fixed here that other places gave up on. Only one time they werent able to retrieve information from an external hard drive I had that fried on me and even then they gave me the information to a place I could mail it to and possibly save some of my personal files.

This business is well known for their products, knowledge and expertise which is why they get 3 stars from me, however, I called to ask a question about shipping and was spoken to somewhat harshly over the phone. I dont really take it personally considering the person who answered doesnt know me well, nor do I know her. My only suggestion is that if it aggravates you all to constantly remind people that you do not answer postal questions then perhaps you should consider having a phone prompt that tells people that upfront. Otherwise I think it hurts your business when people leave with a bad taste in their mouths after something so trivial that couldve been dealt with in a more practical manner

Rarely ever do I leave a google review for a business unless I have an amazing experience, but I have visited this store at least twice and each time has been a terrible experience(the last was with the blonde woman who I’m assuming is the wife of the owner). This time I decided to give them another chance as they are conveniently located to me and open after my work hours. I was already dreading going due to the last negative experience I had here. I was on the way, but called ahead to make sure the postal side would still be open and I spoke to a man who would not tell me if they were open or closed. He told me all of my postal service inquiries needed to go through a separate party and to call another number... all I needed to know is if they were open and they’re literally in the same store/worked by the same husband and wife staff members. He would not tell me, so I hung up and decided to go anyway in person since I was up the street. I get to the store and am asked how they can “help” me. I had a bag with 4 things in it needing to be mailed today, and the man says “sorry the postal side closed at 5:30”. The same man that could have let me know this over the phone when it is advertised on google that they are open until 6. They probably just didn’t feel like dealing with me since it was 15 minutes before close. Once again I never complain, never leave bad reviews for business... I work for a small business and know how negatively poor reviews can effect a business. The customer service at this place is like nothing I’ve ever witnessed, and I will not be back.

Whether they are wrong or right, you have to remain professional period! I had trouble with my sons gaming unit .It stopped working on us after recent upgrade.We tried our trouble shooting without much luck.I dropped my computer at this place .Very pleasant front desk lady received it and told me that technician will check it in a day or 2!.I left my phone number since I did not get an update after 2 days I called back.I was told technician found that there is a problem with motherboard .Since I had recently upgraded the other components, I wanted to know how is other components doing. Unfortunately I never get to talk to a technician, but a very friendly lady, who have no knowledge about computer .She recommended trashing it and offer help in recycling .I had paid 80 dollars for the diagnostics and it was unfortunate that I couldnt directly talk to a technician!!I was not given a closing Ticket either.

The husband and wife team that own the business work hard to attract and keep customers - many time going the extra mile to create customer satisfaction. I have seen customers come in with a chip on their shoulder - caused by a computer issue - and leave smiling because the problem was simply solved. I highly recommend this business. The woman who owns the store has been downright rude to me twice. The first time I gave her the benefit of the doubt thinking that she was having a bad day. But after tonight I will not return to the store and I will very likely share my experiences with anyone who asks. She is not cut out 4 dealing with customers. To anyone trying to trade in, I would say go elsewhere. I didnt even do business with this place but if you are wanting to have them buy your laptop, you give it to them and they look over the computer. Then they give you an offer and if you dont like it, its $15 charged to you for their time.I can tell you that they find out anything they need to know about your computer within 5 minutes or less. Also, they will not accept the computers specs being presented directly to them (I was willing to show them the computers system settings area with the specs displayed) because they want to make that $15. I dont know about how fair they are when people buy from them, but this raises huge red flags for me. Do your research before coming here I guess.

This people dont know how to treat the customers. (The old white lady n old guy ) They are very rude. Never go to this place. Took my macbook for 4 day to fix and told me that they will called me n tell me the price to fix my screen but they never call me. I had to call them and ask them everything. Just took my $65 dollars for dignos. Whoever have a problems with mac should go to affordable pc services which is 1 min away from this store. They will not charge you any dignos fee. The computer place told me $800 to fix my mac screen that a cheapest one, I went to Affordable Pc Service told me $400. Which is a half price so I saved lot money going to Affordable Pc Service.

These people are really thorough! First they will do a diagnostic on the computer, because while we may think we know what is wrong with our machines, there could be other issues. They then call and tell you, and you give approval for the work. Their software for this and for the cleansing really does the job. I would recommend them anytime!

Great location, great customer service, great knowledge! I have taken my personal computer here as well as my husbands work computer. They are able to diagnose the problem in a timely manner and are very reasonable. They explained the problem and were able to talk me through the process they used to fix it. We have purchased a computer from The Computer Place and the price was very reasonable.I have also used the post office side of the store and the help I received was above and beyond. She helped me get my package sent despite the awkward size of the box and was able to help me repackage to get the items sent without having to leave the store.Will definitely continue to use The Computer Place and recommend them to all friends and family in need of computers or services.

I personally felt like the lady was rude. She wouldnt show me any laptop chargers without my laptop and made a very rude comment about my charger. I guess you should work on customer service in this store. I went up the street to Affordable PC Services and he was great. You clearly should work on greeting your customers better and treat each customer equally. Youre losing business.

Being an electrician I know the value of calling a professional before I mess something up I dont know much about. I have done business with a few computer repair shops and none of them were as helpful as computer place. They diagnosed my problem and fixed it without any issues. They couldve made me pay for a motherboard that I didnt need but didnt. To know that I wasnt getting raked over the coals for a part I didnt need when it wouldve been easy to take advantage of me is priceless. Even stayed after hours to make sure I got my system back. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Very honest and helpful people. 10/10

GREAT PLACE. When I needed a laptop for my business four years ago they were very helpful and got me just what I needed at a great price. I use the usps every week for business and have found them to be very helpful. Last month I started having issues with my laptop being sluggish and slow. I took it in to have it looked at. They checked it out and found a number of problems from viruses to unnecessary background programs. I told them I very seldom go on the Internet and when I do Im very careful. They were very helpful and took the time to explain how viruses work and how easily you can get them. They fixed the problem in no time at all and recommended a few inexpensive up grade. Now it runs better than it did new. These people are courteous, helpful and know what they are doing.

In my opinion and experience, this is NOT A PLACE TO BE TRUSTED! They stuck me with charges they never talked about just to look at the monitor I was trying to sell them. They gave me a very low offer, which while understandable, cornered me with either accepting that offer or being charged half the amount in fees just to get it back! If you go here, be SURE TO ASK ABOUT CHARGES, because they will not tell you. If there is a form saying a charge MAY apply, then it always will. It is an ambiguous wording they use just to stick you with it later to ensure they get some money out of you.

These guys always manage to find something wrong with whatever Im mailing. It never fails. The other post offices dont complain. Finally, they dont take debit or credit cards. In 2012. I didnt ride a horse into town to buy my stamps so I shouldnt have to write a check if I dont have cash.
