So they wouldn’t match the online code price. My phone died in the store so I couldn’t show themproof of the FALL20 code. The cashier called Alex to the men’s register. But he wouldn’t listen to me and was very dismissive plus he even tried to flex! LOLThis made me very upset but I understand he had a point to prove. With arched eyebrows and rolled up jean bottoms with anklet socks, he was probably having a bad day I guess.Nonetheless I spoke with his manager. She was nice but also somewhat dismissive as it appeared she didn’t want to be bothered.Lastly, some items were wrongfully priced. So they had to double check. I was right of course. No need to lie on online pricing nor in-store pricing. Not my style.I’m just waiting for this store to finally close. HORRIBLE customer service and incorrect pricing.No more shopping here.

Needed a burial dress for my mom. Found nothing suitable and received little help in 4 stores. The Penneys sales lady took me right to a perfect dress. And then a different check out Lady was extremely helpful and kind.

Found some really good deals for my kids while I was there! No other one i go to ever has anything. And the prices were terrific!

Very sad state for this store. Used to be my go to for dress shirts and ties. They hardly had anything.

I put my purchase back because it was taking too long to get through the line. The cashier had to move over to the perfume counter for some reason. People got confused and didnt know if they were to follow him or stay in line. A woman came out and directed everyone to get back in the original line and wait to be called. Several of us decided to leave. Not very customer friendly.

This store is messy. I mean, MESSY. Do they even try to keep it organized. The hallways are clear because nobody is here and that’s not hard to see why. The people who are walking through are doing just that because it’s the middle of the mall. This is ridiculous. The sales may or may not be good but I won’t be searching though this mess. Pass and go someplace else.

Cute but like they making us all try on clothes in the bathrooms. It’s kinda gross, and unsanitary.

Ordered 3 pairs of shoes online for pick up at the store. One of the cashiers was very helpful and exceeded expectations by walking me to the appropriate location to get the items. Once at the correct location, I could not get the receipt to pull up in my email. The sales associate was very patient and kind. The individual was able to locate the purchase using my last name, zipcode and drivers license to verify identity. The customer service was excellent!

Totally frustrating experience at JCPenney! I was in the mall and saw that JC Penney was having a sale. Im very interested in purchasing a pillow, mattress topper, and other bedding items. I went to look at pillows and there are no prices. Additionally, I could not find anyone to help me. This was a totally frustrating experience.

Store is unorganized....not friendly or helpful staff and store looks like it is one step away from closing its doors. I wanted to buy something while there but couldnt find a cashier that wanted to take my money because they were all trying to close out their registers 30 minutes before closing. Wont be shopping there again.

Even though the store didnt have what I was looking for, the attendant did a very good job of helping me look!

I dont know if it is because of covid or shopping online but they dont have anything like they use to in the store.

We get a lot of clothes for our kids here. The store has definitely improved recently. Pricing is more consistent and it isn’t as messy as previous visits (see old photos from last year) despite the holiday crush. Customer service is much better. We have recently purchased an appliance here and installation and service has been phenomenal. I think JCP is moving in a better direction.

Just giving 3 stars this time. Usually this store is pretty good when it comes to selection. Although proclaiming Black Friday Sales the selection was slim in the areas I looked in particularly in the bedding section. I like the brands JCP carries but when you only have limited quantities, colors and add ons it becomes a bit frustrating. Maybe on- line would be a better choice.

My general store experience was okay, but the cashier at childrens department deserve 0 start.

I always find good deals. The problem is you have to search for an employee if you need help and then for a register to pay.

I went to the Hanes Mall store on Sunday, December 11 with the idea of purchasing a pair of dress pants. What I encountered was a disaster! I have never seen such a mess in any store anywhere in the world. Shirts and pants were all piled up on numerous displays - very few were folded - most were wadded up or else just piled on top of others or even all over the floor. The cardboard from inside the shirts, in many cases, was on the floor or else somewhere on another shelf or display. Needless to say, I did not purchase anything!

Very low on merchandise and high on pricing. Simple kitchen items could not be found. Many shelves empty in various departments.

I register open upstairs and 1 downstairs. Like just shut bthe doors...

It was extremely hard to find someone to help me. No one greeted us, asked could they help us find something, and we even had to hunt to find an open register, then track down an associate to ring us.

I needed to purchase 2 white dress shirts. I couldnt find anyone in Belk. Walked into JC Penney and was able to find what I needed in less than 5 minutes. I was also lucky that Roger-who has been with JC Penney was there to help. Ive worked with him before-one of the nicest associates theyre lucky to have. If youre needing something in menswear, JC Penney and Roger are the best!

Great store located right inside. Be part of Hanes Mall he has several levels and its pretty well furnished. do you store looks really clean it looks pretty nice have never had a complaint coming here no problems whatsoever so I can say I recommend nothing bad to say about this place, good stuff.

This is one of the nice larger stores at Hanes Mall with a large selection. Its a shame that weve allowed our local government to ruin so many shops and stores in an attempt to keep us safe... The virus and complications of the virus are real, the concern for our lives is not.

The staff was friendly and willing to answer my questions as well as possible. The store was clean and organized. They have a large assortment of items and I found everything I was looking for plus a few extras that saved me from having to walk all over the mall. The person helping me had a good attitude and didnt run off like some sales associates at the other department stores. For the most part the prices on clothes were fair. I wouldnt be opposed to shopping here again.

Overall, I love JC Penney for their quality of the merchandise they sell. But Hanes mall Penneys has gone down hill. The store needs to have more merchandise out on the floor.

Hair salon was great, lots of cleaning, social distance. My hair cut was great.The store on the other hand looks very neglected. Still have winter stuff out, clothes are very messy. Hardly anyone working except cashiers.

I went in to the salon today wanting highlights, just a few because I was in a hurry. Marina transformed my hair with just partial highlights and a quick trim! In an hour!! I haven’t been this happy leaving a salon in I don’t know how long. Thanks so much Marina!

Ive gotten portraits of my special needs daughter done all over town for the last 7 years and this is the best place. They know how to get her to smile and do a great job of centering everything in the pics and not cutting any limbs etc off (Olan Mills 🤢). Took a lot longer to get to us this time but the shots were great.

Service took awhile to get in the watch department. When I was finally recognized by someone who I had noticed was actually standing around having full blown conversations with others not pertaining to his job he told me he would be right over to help. Needless to say an older gentleman helped me out and was very helpful with my purchase of a Christmas gift for my husband.

Had to go and return something that didnt fit. So quick and easy on the return, could not believe how ready it was. While there just happened to find my son the perfect coat he had been looking for and it was on sale, even better!!! JC Penny is great!!

We had to search for a cashier to check out, everything was thrown all around, childrens clothes were mixed in with adults and the prices were insane for the store. A bath mat I was interested in was $90...I could have gotten a better quality similar mat at Walmart for less than half.

Went tonight to buy a dress for my daughter. We purchased much more than the dress. We left with 900 dollars worth of merchandise and paid less than 150 dollars. Amazing deals. Our cashier Nyki, was awesome!!! Wonderful customer service. I will definitely be going back.
