Store was clean and organized. The guy that was working on this day 7/4/21 in the a.m. was very nice and helpful. If you happen to read this bro, I appreciate your help man. Sorry I didnt get your name. Again, this is a great spot to shop now because it used to be horrible a few years ago. But good job to everyone who works there. I will be coming back.

This FD location is convenient to my home therefore I do frequently shop here. However, I have had my share of issues. Pricing discrepancy (difference on what rings vs. What tag or sale tag shows on shelf). Also, items being stocked in the wrong location. And nonprofessional associates and manager. I was literally insulted by the manager when asking about pricing issue.

Good store but much more disorganized than others in Winston. The staff seem disinterested in helping in any way. They do however have decent grocery items, toiletries, housewares, gifts, toys, and 🥨🍿 snacks. They also have ♿ handicap accessible parking, entrances, and restrooms.

Was welcomed as I came into store! The store was clean, well organized, and plenty of sales! The manager was helpful by asking if I needed anything. Everything was in stock. The clothing needed to have a little more small/medium sizes I thought. There were A lot of Plus sizes made available. This was my first time visiting this store, I’ll definitely be back and will recommend this store to my family and friends.

It says it closes at 9 pm, arrived at 8:50 pm and its doors were already locked.

I was shopping in this store on August 15-2020 in the morning and this woman asked me to help her out on some money to help pay for her item and I said hand it here, Ill buy it with my stuff and Im paying with a debit card.I get up to the cashier to pay and this white woman about 5 tall heavy set short black hair, grabs the stuff Im buying and said we are not selling you anything. That the lady that asked me for help with here item was banned from the store and I couldnt purchase nothing there. 1st. of all if this womam was banned from this store why did they let her stay in the store to shop? Next we are both of Color and I think that had something to do with it.I just want to say, Im the owner of R.Williams Home Remodeling Co. Over 25 years of Service. Will not shop here again and if your a person of Color, just keep this in mind when you spend your hard earned money at this business!

Store was dirty and some employees had attitudes and some employees had great customer service skills.

I went to this FD location a few days ago. First off, neither my brother nor I were greeted as we entered. I spent maybe 10 minutes looking for a certain item, which I found on one of those hanging racks. Got in line, went to the register with my items. Then the cashier - a man - told me that I could not purchase the item because it was not available for sale anymore. Rather than ask him why the item was still out on the floor, I just said okay. He did not give me a total for my purchase, nor did he hand me the bags or the receipt. I had to reach under the Covid barrier to grab the bags, and then get the receipt myself while he stood there jawing with the other cashier. Very rude individual. I wont return to this location, and probably not any other FD unless they reprimand & retrain this person. (I left a review on their feedback page as well as another site.)

Store has been remodeled, its clean, whole new staff and new Store Manager. New $1 products have been added, larger cooler, freezer and food sections. Bigger section for party items. Staff is friendly and helpful!

Expect to wait in line here while other employees are visible doing aimless work when there should be two registers open. Oh, and remember to check your bag in at the front or u will be Told to do so...have been going here purely out of convenience for a couple years now and almost always ask myself why upon leaving.

I try to stay away from this FD if possible. When I do have to stop in, I try to make it quick because Im not impressed with the employees or the store. I know quite a few people that have been banned for supposedly shoplifting and they all have the same story and these people dont know each other. I think some people have been wrongly accused but then again, I wasnt there. Just seems strange how its always the same story. Also, one of the employees has a problem with talking about customers after they leave, to other customers. I think that is very unprofessional and in bad taste. Maybe with some different employees and a small remodel, it could be a great store, its in a pretty good location.

Very unsatisfying a lot of changes need to be at that location they have change they never want you to get cash back even though you are a regular customer some are rude to the customers with lip service not all just a select few the manger is the main one and the tall cashier from Florida ALL the African Americans are great but for me i will not spend another penny in that store just being honest

I shopped at this Family Dollar Store last week and I was totally disappointed for the following reasons: Although the cashier was very friendly, I was disappointed that there were three additional employees and a store manager who were constantly laughing and joking with each other while the cashier was trying very deligently to ring up the long line of customers purchases. None of the employees assisted her. In addition, one of the employees allowed her young son to go behind the counter while the cashier was ringing up purchases, which was a total distraction for the cashier, but she continued to perform her duties quite well. The store was very junky, unorganized, and the floors were dirty. Instead of the manager laughing with the other employees, he should have been instructing them to assist with the cleaning and organizing of this store!!

I love this Family Dollar location. They seem to have a wider selection than other locations I have visited.

I was charged three times for products i did not receive after receiving the info from my bank i went back into the store to resolve the situation the manager stated i would have to show her where the bank withdrew those funds three separate times, i instantly showed her my online bank statement where the charges were taken out the manager then stated i would have to send this information to their corporate office and wait to receive my money back. This was odd to me so i stated to the manager that in any other store if the customer is overcharged or funds were taken from the customer by mistake that the customer should be able to get money back from the same store and not have to contact their corporate store on your own and also wait for a resolution from some higher up in family dollar who doesnt care about my 50.00 dollars that were misappropriated. After going back and forth the manager got frustrated because i demanded there be another way the three amounts totaled 50.00.The worst family dollar i ever been to management is not knowledgeable. Store is dirty and not clean at all and also the manager tends to call the police instead of satisfying the customer even though she was in the wrong. The store always seems to have the police at front the worst family dollar experience i ever had.

January 4 -2019 Tori, was working the evening shift very slow line and when people was going to pay, she would tell them she didnt have change and couldnt take no 20s or 10s because can not give change back to the customers. The ideal thing you put a sign on the front doors to let the customers know you cant give back change to them, anotherLAZY EMPLOYEE AT THIS LOCATION THE BEST FAMILY DOLLAR IS AT STORE # 11551 2017 BOARD ST. ACROSS FROM JAYS PLACE, THE EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS NICE SPEAKS TO EVERY CUSTOMER THAT COMES IN AND IS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT WEST SALEM FAMILY DOLLAR SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!!! WILL NOT GO BACK DRIVE A EXTRA MILE AND HAVE FRIENDLY EMPLOYEES WAIT ON YOU!!! I started shopping at this location when it open. There was two times I stop doing bussiness with them. Around March of 2015 Ms.Katty become the manager, this store has really changed for the best. Katty was what this place needed. A-1 service friendly employees, a nice clean store to shop in. Employees, cashiers shouldnt be working sick, January 01-2018 cashier had the Flu Bug and handling peoples goods and FOOD PRODUCTS and bagging them to. No respect for the customers, called customer service and was on hold for over 15 minutes, never talked to anyone. Taking my bussiness to Wal-Mart or Dollar General Store. Wal-Mart has self check out so you dont have to deal with a cashier that is sick spending it around to everybody else!! STAY AT HOME WHEN YOU HAVE THE FLU BUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Came in around 9-10am March 6th, 2017 and couldnt believe how badly me and my friend were treated. Hurt my heart.

If your total purchase is $1.01 and you have $20.00 they will not sell the item to you. Horrible customer service.

They charge me more than 12 of cocoa cola is 3 for 11 dollars and they charge me 550 dollars
