Was in town (from Florida) and wanted to pick up some local beer and came across City Beverage. Nice setup! Like the bar/lounge area. Probably like it a little to much. lol However, great place to meet your drinking needs!

Nice place to buy kegs at.They only keep certain items in stock or you can,order. They have what you need if you have a kegurator. Customer service is helpful also.

I was in Greensboro this weekend and had been looking for these glasses in Virginia Beach with no luck. I looked on line but after you add in shipping it wasn’t quite worth it. I thought of this store in my past travels I kinda thought maybe I had purchased one of these from here before. Called them a couple weeks before my trip and the guy says give me your number I’ll get back to you I’m all out right now. A couple days later he calls and says got em. I went in there Saturday and yes there they were! I purchased 3. To me this is the grail glass of the Trappist Belgium beer glasses heavy cut glass freezes well and stays cold to get room temp ale at a good drink temp right away. This store also has the other Trappists glasses and a few others. Good store with real customer service. Thanks!

Its a smaller store with a smaller selection than a lot of other bottle shops. But its definitely the only good bottle shop in W-S.

Love this place, they hook me up on my german keg beer addiction. I travel approx ninety miles to get there but its worth it!

My kids purchased me a kegaratore for fathers day. After it was delivered, i made several calls to City Beverage and spoke with Landon. I went there a few days ago, and it was like talking to and old friend. Customer service was great, I received lots of keg knowledge. This will be the only place i buy kegs and C02 tanks exchanged

We always enjoy going to City Beverage. They are really helpful and have an extensive list of beer and wine products.Updated March 13 2018. Needed some wine special ordered from City Beverage. 2015 Sanctuary Vineyards Double Barrel, an award winning wine from North Carolina - Best in Show 2018. The next week it was there on the shelf. Thanks City Beverage for saving me a 8 hour round trip drive!

City Beverage is awesome! They have a fantastic tap selection and cool tap room. They always seem to have a new rare beer on tap when I stop by. Their bottle selection is top notch with a huge beer cooler. We always get our kegs here for our Kegerator at home. Spencer has made some wonderful recommendations of new beers for us to try. Really great family owned spot!

I remember walking into City Beverage the first time and being totally overwhelmed by the selection. I think the selection deserves them at least 3 stars on its own. After a few times of going, I thought Id try to make conversation with the owner, which didnt turn out as friendly as Id hoped. However, I went back many times and was given excellent service by the owners son and their other employee. Since then I have gotten to know the owner a little and have found him to be very nice (edit: the owner passed away and left the store with his son). The prices do tend to be slightly higher, but its not enough to complain about. Other reasons I give them 5 stars: (1) The store is always well stocked, very organized and clean, and it has a great atmosphere. (2) They offer home-brewing supplies and classes. (3) There are weekly tastings on Fri/Sat. (4) Eight selections are on tap. (5) They offer awesome discounts on slow moving cases.

Great Place. Spencer is a great resource for everything from brewing supplies and tips to the perfect wine pairing. Stop in and grab a pint in the tasting room. They have 2 tent sales a year, make sure to get on the mailing list for details. We have a mix and mingle several times a year in the tasting room and everyone is always pleased.

I came in to get my co2 bottle replaced and I noticed all of the great brands of beer and wine and a ton of accessories for all of your party needs staff is very helpful and you can get quantities as small or as large as you want a locally owned business and definitely worthy of your support

Probably shouldnt advertise as a homebrew shop. Selection is weak, items are over priced, and the hydrometer i bought from them was cracked right out the box.Seem to have a decent beer selection but seeing how they treat the brewing supplies i am assuming their beers get them same fragile care

They seemed to have a great selection of craft beers and brewing supplies. They had additional beverages that I didn’t have a chance to browse. I only wish they had longer hours of service.

I have shopped at City Beverage countless times over the years for both business and personal use and have never had a bad experience. Their service and knowledge are unbeatable, especially by one of these box wine stores. I am proud to buy local and could not be happier with City Beverage.
