What a Wonderful Stress-Free Experience at FrankWine. We came to Franks for a Wedding Consultation and the Alcohol Selection. Frank had a beautiful set-up for tasting and focused on making the experience fun, and easy . I thought the process would be more stressful but it was far from that. He helped us through wine tasting and advised on wine and beer selection, since our experience is minimal. Frank was very accommodating when I changed my mind on our selections of wine and beer with short notice. He responded to emails quickly . We had a pleasant experience with the girl who helped us pick our alcohol but other than that our experience with Frank was less than ideal. Frank was difficult to get in contact with and was very rude to my mom when my mom expressed she felt the alcohol count for our wedding was low. He assured her that in all his years he had never run out. She felt put off and nervous to keep pushing so she didn’t. Cut to the night of my wedding. By the time cocktail hour was over we had just about ran out of 2 types of beer, vodka, makers mark, and tequila. Thankfully our coordinator was able to go out and buy more or else if would have made our wedding night so stressful. I think this company should start listening to customers when they express concerns and maybe these experiences will be avoided.

Highly recommend Frank for large orders of any alcohol, he responds quickly and we appreciated his experience to list as much alcohol we needed based on our guest count. Once confirmed and paid, we set up delivery and it was out of our hands—so easy.

Getting our wedding wine and beer from Franks was easy and cheaper than any other place we looked at. They made great recommendations and were fantastic to work with. We wanted to have local beer and wine for the area, and they helped find affordable options. They recommended how much to purchase, however, we knew we were going to have leftovers, so you can either return and get refunded or do what we did and keep it. We picked it up the day before after paying ahead of time, which was great - highly recommend!

Great selection, but I cant give it more than 3 stars because NONE of the beer is EVER priced. Therefore, I just cant shop there. I dont buy things without knowing the price and taking 6 pack after 6 pack up to the register to get a price check is offensive and is not something I want to do when Im shopping for a quick and reasonable beer.

This wine store has none of your run-of-the-mill average wines. If youre looking for over produced, common wines found in every other store. Dont go there. They carry less common but excellent wines that your mire knowledgeable wine drinker us familiar with. This is where you should go buy wine.

Ive lived in Willy for a couple of years but never tried Franks. Not feeling up to stopping at my favorite liquor store, Total Wine, I took a closer look at my own neighborhood....awesome decision of mine, if I do say so myself. Noting from the Google reviews that the store quickly replies to Customers, I emailed a few quick lines before the store opened, asking specifically for Gulden Draak and some other crafts. Just like that, Mr. Frank personally wrote me back, giving me the right info and even sharing a limited-time bonus: all Large Format beers (e.g. 22oz) are going the way of the dodo bird, and Franks is letting them go at FIFTY PERCENT OFF! Not only that, but Franks is supporting our neighbors during the Apocalypse and offering 9% off beer with a restaurant take-out receipt. I stopped in that same day and was immediately greeted by the kickass Mgr(?) Greg. Repeatedly, Greg verified pricing for the beers (for real though, they seriously do need to get that beer scanner, STAT), answered my general questions, and was so cool about the Large Formats on clearance. His perfectly light-hearted and knowledgeable personality sealed the deal for me: Franks is my new Trolley Square spot for beer. Viva Mesopotamia.

Frank catered the alcohol for my daughters wedding last week. 160 people were in attendance, so it was a fairly large and diverse order. Different wines, different whiskies,several brands of beer, etc. The whole list was about a full page long. I was quite anxious about the order because the venue we used only allows alcohol deliveries the day before the wedding. So if anything went wrong, there would be no time to repair the damage.I am very happy to say that every item was included in the order, and I was much relieved when I took inventory of it. I can vouch for Franks dependability. Frank also helped us determine how much of each thing we needed. His estimate was pretty good. We have some things left over, but Frank takes them back for a refund. We never came close to running out of anything. I found Franks prices to be very competitive and he gave me a substantial discount for volume.I unhesitatingly recommend Franks Union Wine Mart to anyone who has a large gathering of any sort. Some nice wine choices not often found elsewhere, but I had to wonder. Great selection of amari, but the whisky choices were a bit thin and odd. Some names I have never seen elsewhere. That said, I live in PA where the liquor stores are owned and price controlled by the state. The prices are not low. When prices at Franks are higher than PA state prices, I take exception at having to drive so far to spend more money. You have been warned.

We have never actually been to Franks Wine, but we used FranksWine for all of our wedding reception needs. We were very happy with the service provided by Frank for our daughters wedding on 7/5/14. Frank was happy to do everything via the internet, which I appreciated, as we were very pressed for time. I used his online quote form, and Frank sent a detailed proposal. We tweaked the proposal twice via email, made our payment online, and the courier service Frank recommended delivered everything to the venue in plenty of time. I went with nearly all of Franks recommendations, and Im glad I did.

This was my first experience purchasing alcoholic beverages for a large event. At the recommendation of the caterer, I contacted Frank. From the very first moment, he put my mind at ease. To say that Frank knows what he is doing would be an understatement. After determining how much alcohol will be needed, he gave me suggestions of brands, for which I was free to change. He also wanted to understand the crowd to make sure the brands would be fitting. I allowed Frank to pick the wines (4 different kinds), and they were wonderful! The amount of beverages was perfect with little wastage or leftover. Yes, you might find some cheaper prices for the same beverages that Franks Union offers, however, if you are like me, and value personalized service at significant quality, relief of concerns in the face of a lot of other things to worry about, and dealing with a true gentleman, then for the few dollars or pennies difference, the decision on where to go is a no-brainer. I guess one could go to a large, national chain, but if you are like me, and havent spent your life researching wines and other alcoholic beverages, and can use guidance, then go to Franks, you will not regret it. And, while I bought a lot of alcohol for the event we were having, it is my intention you use Franks Union for my future alcoholic purchases as I know I will receive the same service on a consistent basis.

Franks was absolutely amazing for our June 14th Wedding. The staff was insanely generous and knowledgeable when we went in to pick out our selections for our big day. The amount of knowledge they had regarding different types of affordable yet delicious wine was great, and their craft beer selection cannot be surpassed. They also offer a super convenient delivery service through a courier for an additional charge and offer to take back any unopened cases of beer or bottles of liquor/wine. I literally do not have enough great things to say about everyone at Franks Wine. Everyone was so helpful and just wonderful. HIGHLY recommended for a stop in or for a big event.

We used Franks for our rehearsal dinner and wedding in August 2014. We wanted to supply the alcohol ourselves to save a little money. Franks was PERFECT for this. He asked for our preferences and filled in the blanks where we had no idea what we should get. He is detail oriented and works very well under tight deadlines. We went back and forth a few times over the specifics of the order to get it just right, and Frank was very easy to deal with and responsive over email. And the BEST PART is that he lets you return the unused portion of the order (note, for wine and champagne it must be unchilled, and for beer it must be full cases).A couple of notes for soon-to-be customers: (1) when you fill out your order online, check your spam box if you dont get a response soon, (2) there is a separate courier company that will deliver the alcohol and are reasonably price (for 65 cases, the cost was $300 for us) -- only issue is that you have to pay them in cash or check, and (3) you can use Franks for mixers, etc. as well. Great one-stop shopping!Finally, not that any of us want to receive spam, but Franks weekly update emails from the store are kind of hilarious...

His communication was great and through email, making it much easier for me to get back to him when I could. He had great selections and suggestions for us and our guests. The payment process was also extremely easy, the pricing was extremely reasonable and the proposal that was written for us was very clear. They know a courier that they put you in contact with to make deliveries legally over state lines (we are in PA). The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. We cant thank him enough for making this process so easy!

I have been dealing with Frank and his shop for years, usually on special orders or releases that he is handling. His specialty is wines, but there is a great selection of beers at a fair price. He also has a growler bar featuring local and national offerings. Check it out!

Super friendly staff

I recommend Franks to anyone who needs booze, and a lot of it. Frank assisted my husband and I for our wedding and the process was a breeze. There was no guess work and from experience he had a formula to get the correct amount of the correct stuff. Frank was not shy to tell me when I was wrong (and maybe even stingy) with some of my selections, and Im glad I listened to him. We did have a few bottles of mixers (simple syrup, martini mix, vermouth) left over, as well as some extra rum and vodka, but hey - who could complain about a little extra vodka? If you dont know where to start, at least give Frank a call. Good luck!

Easy, efficient and friendly! I found FranksWine through the internet in preparing for my daughters wedding reception. Frank is very responsive to emails and we scheduled a tasting for the next Saturday. Siobhan met with us and made the selection process easy and fun. The selections were good and prices are very reasonable. Frank recommended a courier service for delivery to the reception venue which was easy peasy. Everything went off without a hitch! We were able to return our unused bottles/cases and the refund was processed within a few weeks. I would highly recommend FranksWine to anyone planning a wedding reception or other function!

I needed something fun to do for a bachelorette party and an at-home wine tasting was perfect. Franks selected the perfect wines...each one different but delicous! Karl came to the house and did a wonderful job explaining the wines and making us girls have such a fun time. This was my first experience working with Franks and they were so helpful and nice.
