Went to buy a wheel and tire. Sam was very helpful looking up the size and bolt pattern and tracing it out on paper for me. I got a like new tire (manufacture date 8/18) on a wheel for a very fair price. A nice experience overall.

Awesome place to go if youre jn need of replacing something on your vehicle! Cheaper than buying items brand new and the items you get off another vehicle here are usually in great shape. Ive used Pick N Pull since 2000 and Ive never had a bad issue with anything Ive bought. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable and will help you find what youre looking for! Prices are low and a great way to save on what you need!-Definitely Recommend for car parts & repairs. :)

Super organized, and theres a great selection of cars. Its also great that they post the new arrivals on Facebook so I know when something new gets there. There process are a little higher than other yards in the area, but its well worth it when its so organized.

Basically this place accuses everyone of stealing! If you are a person of color be prepared to Basically get stripped searched when leaving. Nice place other than one employee thinking he is some kind of detective...My first and last time using this business! Shame because its a nice place...

Always a great experience. Nice staff and honest friendly people. Just dont forget to bring bug repellent and or something to smush spiders or roaches inside vehicles. It is a junkyard in a swamp.

Always a huge selection and usually not super over crowded. Even if they don’t have what I’m looking for you can usually find a similar part that works and the prices are super fair. Return policy is good too. I’ve never had an issue here! Highly recommended!

Got there with my mom to work on my Ford Ranger about a month ago, I decided Id leave this so no one else falls for this grade A bs. Employees were rude and wouldnt let me in because of age, I get their held liable but I dont have ID due to Covid. Overpriced, when I was told what the price was for the items we purchased I nearly died laughing.

As far as salvage yards go this place is excellent. Very competitive pricing, nice staff, and most of all, ORGANIZED! Vehicles are sorted by brand and model type, makes it very easy to minimize lost wandering in the yard. I was also impressed that if a part doesn’t work out, they’ll refund your money with a receipt within 30 days. If you need affordable auto parts go check them out!

Great place, considering its a junk yard its actually clean well arranged including wheelbarrows and rolling gantry for removing engines . The vehicles are already safely in the air for under car items. Even the staff is friendly and helpful.

Been good experiences here for me. Yards well organized, everythings already lifted. They will charge you for every tiny piece so its best to strip down to just the part you need instead of entire pieces for convenience. They dont allow jacks in the yard which to me is frustrating when I want suspension components. I like the ability to look up cars on their website so I know if the vehicle I need is there and will continue to go back

Fairly easy to get in and out. Cars arent exactly where they say theyll be yet can be found in the general location. Prices are great, folks seem to be honest and friendly. Ill definitely be back.

Great place for parts but you cannot rely fully on their inventory system. I went there for a lower grill for my impala and the website said they had them and they did not. So just check again and be sure what you’re looking for is there! Other than that it’s a really cool place to get parts for cheap!

Sad I called before I drove them two and a half hours to make sure they had the car I was looking for they told me yea on the phone but as soon as I walked in the door I get asked what am I looking for I tell them they say oh who dont have any of those cars

Ive been to a lot of junkyards in my life Ive even run a few this junkyard isnt a bad place but their inventory does not reflect what actually in the yard if its older than 5 days for sure guaranteed every time take that knowledge with you when you go because if you get your hopes up they will not have sympathy for you otherwise good group of guys and gals just a little pricey compared to some other Pick N pulls considering what they must pay for the entire vehicle but if you know the counter staff they can usually work on the prices if theres cosmetic issues with the parts and pieces your seeking now dont think that means youre going to get the deal of the century you might just save the change and round down to the nearest increment still better than nothing. One thing to always remember in the state of North Carolina is that black widows and copperheads like warm vacant vehicles, always look where your going when yard hopping.

I found what I needed but I didnt enjoy the long walk at the very end of the lot. Just to give you a heads up ladies, they wanted to check my purse before entering . This made me feel a certain way.🙄

I went to this business. To pick up a Ford part for my car. When I got back to pay for the part. There was this guy that was very very very rude to me. First of all he said you parked in the driveway. I had no idea where to park. And then he hollered at me about my clone dog that costed $120,000 being in the car with the air conditioner on. Ill take him everywhere I go all the time. This is not over I want him fired or that would be further action taken. Very rude to customers fire him

The staff are amazing. Very helpful and helped me find what I needed . They also cut me a little slack for not knowing exactly what I was doing. The website was the real game changer. I was able to locate where the parts were. It even has a compatible car option to find alternative years that the part needed would be compatible. Really thankful for such an easy and speedy visit.

Tried to buy a part from this place but when I got up to the counter the employee told me he would have to charge me an extra $7 for the wiring harness attached to the part, which I had no need for. Ive been to many used parts junkyards and Ive never been charged for a cut wiring harness on a part. When I asked if I could just throw it away he said I couldnt since it was already brought up to the counter, which is bull because if I just threw it away before I walked in to checkout there wouldnt be a problem. When I said Im not paying for the part the employee got snarky and said you have to, so I just walked out. Go somewhere else for your used car parts, the prices are too high and employees suck.

My husband almost always finds what he needs when he goes to Cape Fear Pick N Pull. I like to go with him to hand him the tool he needs & be his assistant! 😉

Good parts if you want to pull them

Went today with my older brother and his friend, I don’t have a Id but they do, they told me I’d have to wait outside IN THE BLAZING HEAT, I was only coming with my brother. I was not going to buy anything nor was I going to touch anything but I got told no Id, no entrance. It’s not a club with alcohol or anything illegal but me being 17 without a license I had to sit outside. Which is what I’m still doing currently. Such GREAT service. What if I was younger would y’all still have told me to sit in the car in 83 degree weather.?

WOW, this place use to be a great place to save money on parts, the past employees use to be friendly & very helpful! They have all new employees now, they charge a BS non-refundable “Environment” fee, in addition to a $2 entry fee, and they’ve made it entirely too difficult to return an item! To return an item, you must have your original receipt, that’s understandable. Now they won’t accept your return without a valid driver’s license AND a receipt! Of course, your not aware of this policy until you show up the next time to return an item. They keep a photo copy of your ID and your receipt “on file”. If you’ve been here before, you’ll agree that it’s not the most secure place to leave personal information. Parts can be purchased cheaper online! Entry fee+ environmental fee+ latest price increase+ horrible customer service+ Having to do all the work= NOT WORTH IT! Recent changes are enough to keep me from ever going back. Good luck!

I told them what part I needed they gave me a location of the vehicle inside the junkyard I was able to find it easily and remove the part. The junkyard is huge and you need to bring your own tools to remove whatever part you need. The price was very reasonable.

This salvage yard is helping rebuild my poor old 2004 Honda Pilot that two different Marines smashed in to. One front left and one front right. Both at fault drivers !!!!!Well laid out yard, easy access, and okay prices. Its off Hwy. 421 across river from Wilmington.

Just returned from Cape Fear Pick N Pull. Its 8pm. The yard closed at five. We were after an alternator, which we acquired at the expense of time, which we had no means of keeping track. We pulled our part somewhere around 5:30, and I understand closing time is closing time (5:00). We notified a sheriff, who sent an employee to release us. As this employee returned to free us from this cold and rainy evening, locked in their junkyard, he thought it appropriate to bring a child, no older than five years. I couldnt say whether the child was a diffuse of potential nastiness, but I assure that we simply wanted our part, warmth, and shelter from the rain. The employee summoned to our crisis was not rude, but generally disinterested. He would not sell us the part that wed come for, and seemed annoyed as though we were an inconvenience to him. My buddy suggested the company implement a ”closing time bell, or horn, which they said they had. It mustve been a whisper among the hundreds of rows of cars on their lot. We were locked in for a solid two hours and when we finally got out, the employee wouldnt sell us the part. For their negligence, the part shouldve been on the house. However, this is not my business and I dont call the shots. Maybe watch out here; you lose track of time, pulling parts, and you may end up locked in. Be careful.

Poor customer service changing prices off the top of their head

No one under 18 is allowed in and there’s no exceptions. Not even if they’re accompanied by an adult. This is not the place to come if you want great customer service. Parts are well priced but again, if your pulling partner is under 18, they can’t get in even though I’ve brought my brother (16 years old) multiple times before and they never said anything.

This place is awesome! Still cant believe the prices and availability of parts. I will definitely be back.
