I have purchased two cars from Mercedes Benz of Wilmington and have been very pleased with the service. For my latest car, Vic was extremely helpful and communicated everything he needed from me very well. In addition Jaqueline arranged my appointment with Vic and was helpful when I was running late in confirming what time I would be there and ensured my car was ready for me. I will definitely buy my next car at this dealer.

Bought 2016 from used car dealership while it was still under warranty. Used it for a year until I took it to MBofWilm for a complete and total checkup. They charged $2400, but did a good job, so I was satisfied. Suddenly, now, my Smart Keys have stopped working. I put in new batteries, but they still do not work. Called MBofWilm to purchase new ones, and was told by the parts department that MBofWilm do not deal with Smart Keys, and that I should call another dealership. Is something wrong here?UPDATE: The folks at MBofWilm have been very on top of and helpful with my car problem. The miscommunication was apparently just that, and they are working on getting new Smart Keys for me. Dealing with Carol has been very pleasant, and she is quite knowledgeable (I dont know how she remembers it all). In the end, the problem might not even be the keys, but well find out about that within a short period of time. An ongoing saga toward an anticipated fix.LATEST: Success!! The folks at MBofWilm were very patient with and very kind to my problem. And very understanding of the aggravation I was having. As it turns out, for one thing, the second, internal key works very well.... you really dont even need the Smart key part of it. But for the convenience of the Smart Key, make sure the batteries are good. Even if you have to purchase several sets of them. Carol had suggested that the batteries might be the problem, but they were new (I bought them at a local drug store), and had tested them on a commercial battery tester. Even though they registered as good, they werent. I purchased a new set online, and there you go!! Everything is good now, and I feel like a fool!! Why the first ones suddenly stopped working, Ill never know. But Carol was right, and if I had taken her suggestion in the first place, most all of this could have been avoided. Kudos to MBof Wilm, and Im happy, now.

It has been almost three months since we purchased a vehicle from them and the taxes and registration still have not been paid! Poorest customer service experience EVER! Received car in transport with curb rash on wheels and one non-functioning key fob..nothing was done to correct this. Id avoid this dealership! Update: I finally got through to Todd, the General Manager. I am waiting to see what happens next.

Excellent service, very transparent process. Bought my CPO via internet without seeing it - spoken to Shelby as well as Geoff. The reason why you should buy a car like that from reputable dealers is clear - no surprises when you arrive. Transaction was easy - wired money, got confirmation from Geoff, sent documents. When I arrived everything was ready, they were detailing the car. The only improvement I would see is the detailing - but could be because I am a perfectionist. Took me 2 hours and I had the car interior detailed to my expectations. They gave me a fair price for my trade-in and I even forgot my garage opener in it. Shelby was so kind to send my garage opener to me. Team did overall a great job.

Terrible service overall. Traveled 2 hours to look at a used vehicle. Was never told about the damage to the inside before driving 2 hours and after specifically asking about damage. Was never told it wasn’t leaving the lot that day. Supposed to be delivered the following Wednesday and no phone call nothing and it showed up Thursday… not washed or cleaned. Absolutely the worst dealership I’ve ever worked with.

If you want the absolute worst customer service on the face of the planet, this is the place for you!! Every single step of the buying process was a complete nightmare. First, I had to stay in constant contact for over a week with the manager to get pictures of the car online before he realized his phone had a camera and he could send them over himself. When I finally purchased the car, I was given an extremely hard time over the fact that I couldn’t come to pick it up until the end of the week. Over the next six months, I was issued a total of three different sets of DE temp tags; the problem is these plates expire every 60 days. At the end of every 60 day period, I had to hassle the dealer for three days straight to make sure they got shipped out to me and was lied to numerous times about when/if the tags were shipped. I understand that they can’t speed up the DMV process, but they should at least be honest and diligent in sending out temp tags if they know that my NYS plates still haven’t come. As a result of their incompetence, I was driving around on two day expired temp tags while waiting for the next set and was issued a citation for unregistered MV. I would call this dealership almost 1x a week for issues with these tags, and no one would answer but the front desk lady. Title clerk, my salesperson, internet sales manager, you name it, they never returned calls! All in all, I just received my NYS plates and the title after six months of back and forth hassle and couldn’t be more dissatisfied with the entire buying process here. Mercedes’ slogan is ‘The best or nothing,’ and if this is their best, I would choose nothing ten times over. I wish I could give 0 stars. The best part? You pay OVER $850 in dealer fees to be treated like they’re the ones doing you a favor when you ask for anything.

My car Apple play wasn’t working after my service and 3 people that work there couldn’t figure it out they even told me that I needed to schedule a service for it. Next day I figured it out all on my own. If you are charging us so much money for being Benz at least train your staff…

If there were 10 stars that is what I would give this dealership. I prefer Mercedes due to the customer experience during and after you purchase your car. But this dealership goes above and beyond. I purchased a 2009 C300 for my daughter and needed a vacuum pump 4 months later. Pat Olivetto went above and beyond to honor the purchase and back the brand even though the car was purchased without a warranty. Everyone is super friendly, understanding, and accommodating from purchase to service. This dealership is a rare find in a time where industries typically just look for a way to skim dollars from consumers. Very disappointed! I have been bringing my car to this dealership for service for the past 6years. Today I called for an appointment because the inside handle to my driver side door broke, I was told the soonest appointment they could give me was end of the month. I explained to the service agent that my car is used for work and this is a safety issue, he insisted that he was unable To give me an emergency appointment. I expected better considering the circumstances. Disappointed use to be loyal customer.

Friendly staff, Poor management! I came for a Battery change, scheduled maintenance, brakes replacement. I was informed there were no loaner vehicles available. In their Peking lot 4 !! loaner cars were sitting the entire 5 and 1/2 hours I was there. When I inquired why I was informed there were none available for me - no one had a an answer! Shameful

Samy Hamza made the car purchasing experience very pleasant for me and my dad. Initially we had gone in with the intentions of comparing the GLC300 to some of its competitors. From the jump, Samy showed us a great model that fit my fathers needs perfectly. We were traveling through NC on a 8 week vacation in our Thor Citation motor home when the engine lite came on. Sensor said it’s a Nox sensor.Called the service department and Nichole picked up and understood exactly the problem with the Emissions recall from Mercedes which included the sensors. We dropped off the next day on Friday and on Monday afternoon she called to let us know it was ready.I had to see for my self climbing underneath and not only did they replace the two sensor they replace the exhaust from the manifold down to the muffler.No Charges.Thank you Nichole and your team.Steve and Patty06/07/2021

I went into the dealership not really knowing what I wanted and was greeted by Shelby who was very nice and informative. She knows her cars! I test drove 2 non Mercedes vehicles from their pre owned selection and they were very nice but not for me. She took me around the lot and was showing me similar Mercedes SUVs in the same price range. I saw one I really liked and after a short test drive and some paperwork; that went very smoothly I drove home in a very nice GLE 350. I was searching a car for my mom, and I went to a different dealership and got an offer for a used gla and I decided to call MBW and I have to tell you it was one of the best decisions I made. Vick and Towsend were exceptional, they did everything in there power to get me a specific GLA and gave me the best possible price for it (called other dealers they couldnt match). Vick was very courteous, patient and did everything he could to fulfill my needs. Hes the right guy to talk too when purchasing a vehicle, he was terrific!

I am so upset + frustrated I don’t know where to begin. I was working with Alissa last week to lease a new Mercedes GLC 300. We took our time finding one I loved and put $1,500 down and was told it would be in late this week. This week comes and goes without a word from anyone at Mercedes. My husband reached out to Alissa on Wednesday to get an update and never heard back. Texted Thursday with no reply. We called back on again on Friday + she said she was with a customer and would call us back in ten minutes... and we never heard back. I called on Saturday morning + left a voicemail that this was unacceptable. It wasn’t until after this that I heard back from the manager stating that the car we put a deposit on is at another dealer + they are not willing to trade with Mercedes of Wilmington. Due to Covid I understand that these things can happen, however, to completely avoid us is so unprofessional + a blatant disregard for us as long time customers. I also understand color may seem trivial, but we aren’t in a rush for a new vehicle so I wanted to wait for exactly what I want + there should never be absolutely no follow up nor communication in regards to what is going onz The lack of communication + care for their clients is evident unless they are taking your money. I would strongly suggest you reach out to other dealers.

I Purchased an extremely low mileage Mercedes roadster from Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington in April 2019. I live more than 400 miles away from the dealership and located the car on Auto trader. After negotiating a deal over the phone, I flew to Philadelphia where I was picked up by the dealership and taken to Wilmington.The car was as advertised, extremely clean and the closing transaction took less than one hour. They even programmed my GPS so I could find my way home.I was home eight hours later.I received the title in the mail 16 days after purchasing the car. The transaction was great and I would recommend this dealership.The only reason I did not give five stars was that during the phone Q&A and negotiation I felt that they could’ve been a bit better at responding.

My service rep is Jason and hes been servicing my car for 4 years and they work well with my warranty company give me advice and not a pressured dealership they will highly recommend a particular service if major but otherwise tell you have time. They give you very nice loaners.. I have a 2005 C240 clean 185,000 miles going strong. I just take it to the experts but not tires, 😂. One day, Im coming back for this truck..

I arrived at the dealership with the intention to buy a certified pre-owned 2017 E300. I was greeted by Vic Magarov who was very friendly and informative. After buying the car, many issues were discovered (broken USB ports, faulty window, and other minor problems). To their credit, I called and they had everything fixed immediately free of charge. They even delivered a rental to my door, and dropped the car off when it was ready so that I dont have to go to the dealership (I have a busy work schedule and they were accommodating). The reason I am not giving five stars is because this dealership should have never let a fairly new Mercedes-Benz labeled Certified Pre-owned go out the door with that many problems. That label should mean the car is in pristine condition. More careful inspection of cars theyre certifying would come a long way.

I was sold a vehicle which had some major issues and needed to trade it in for a more reliable & safer vehicle ( which had me very upset to the point that I didnt even want to work with the dealer who sold me the vehicle any more). I explained my situation to the manager, Pat Oliveto & he connected me with Samy Hamza. Samy Hamza has been absolutely wonderful during my car trade process!! An honest guy who actually cares what kind of car you will be placed in and actually takes the time to break things down and explain them to you!! Hes not out there just for a dollar, he actually cares and make sure you are happy with what you decide to choose as well as help if needed! Mercedes benz of Wilmington Made this car buying experience a breeze... I wanted to purchase a car for my mom and they went out of their way to bring to bring a Gla250 down a demo to me so that she could test drive it.. The no hassle pricing of not having to go back and forth with the pricing was the easiest part and just like that sold...After the sale where typically no one follows up with the sale not 1 nor 2 but i received 3 phone calls from Pat, Derrick and Alisa about any questions that i may still have had about the car and how my mom liked it.. Well she loves it and they made it seem like we were family not a social security number with a credit score!! Thanks again sending all my referrals your way!!!!

Was a relatively painless experience getting my first Mercedes couple months ago, though it did take me 3 weeks to negotiate a reasonable price...the service dept was quite amazing! Tony is the guy I usually go to for scheduling services and he is a really nice guy to interact with. Everyone else is also very helpful. Will continue to go there for services, although I do hope I won’t go there too much other than maintenance.

I recently purchased a low mileage E350. Intended on just going for a test drive but my sales associate Shelby made the experience so painless I ended up buying. The team stayed late working on the deal and ensuring all my needs were met. Since than, Shelby, has reached out to me a couple times just ensuring everything is perfect. Read the complete review. There are pros and cons.Cons:One less star because of Sales and Finance teams. They are very typical like other MB Dealers.Pros:Here is the great part, they have really nice service and staff. I have been to multiple Mercedes Service centers including MB Tysons Virginia, MB of Arlington VA, MB in MD and MB of West Chester. Among all these this location has a great service and importantly they are not COMMERCIAL and wont empty your pocket unnecessary. Suggestions are genuine and not forced on you. They will not scare you that your parts are worn out and you need to replace them now & things like that.I would like to mention a service staff member Tony Saienni. He is very supportive and will treat your car as his car. 😀😀

Gas leak once, took it to the dealership, they repaired it and cost me close to $1000. 2 days later gas leak again, got it towed again to Meecedez authorizes dealer in Wilmington. They advised the new part they used was bad and they fixed it. We took a few days to pick it back up due to COVID 19, when we started the car at the dealer it had a weird noise and engine light was on. The service guy had such a attitude and said it was in their parking lot for about 2 weeks because of which it backfired and they fixed it in minutes. This was 4/27 and today 4/28 the leak is back!! I cannot even imagine what they are doing with my car!! Waiting for dealership to open tomorrow and have it towed the third time for the same issue. At this time I cannot trust this dealership but have no other options as they have my money for the repair! Total inconvenience and no compassion for this inconvenience from this dealership. I will be filing a formal complaint as well if they cannot explain what is going on.

Rick made the purchasing my first Mercedes Benz vehicle a positive experience. It was also my first certified, pre-owned vehicle that I purchased. My questions were answered and he follow-up with I have owned/leased many vehicles over the years and this by far was the most straightforward process for me. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we negotiated the price over the phone, came to an agreed upon offer, and he delivered the car direct to my driveway. Now, that is what I feel exemplifies customer satisfaction!

One of the reasons I return to Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington when I am ready to buy a new car is that I love the service I receive when having my car in for its routine service. Customer service here is excellent. Everyone is polite, friendly, and helpful and the service is always done right. I especially appreciate their shuttle service and loaner car service, which saves my time while my car is being serviced.
