Amazing little cafe! The atmosphere is amazing and the outdoor space is so relaxing. My husband and I got iced coffees, I got a bacon Starving R-tist breakfast burrito and my husband got a sausage breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious! They brought our food and drinks outside to us and we were able to enjoy the fresh air and live music. Highly recommend!

Excellent service in a thriving and artsy hood. If you come, youll likely find nice company. Goods are moderately priced and there is always tasteful and intriguing art displayed for your enjoyment. Sometimes, there are musicians or live artists! Couldnt ask for more from a corner coffee shop!

Absolute hidden gem of a coffee and breakfast place nestled in Riverside. The coffeehouse itself is cozy and charming with local art hanging on the walls. The outdoor seating though is absolutely wonderful. With no offense to Wichita, being seated in front of this coffee house in this cute cozy neighborhood makes you feel like you have been transported to another city and another time and place with less hustle and bustle to worry about. The coffee itself was great and they offer unexpected flavor combinations like strawberry banana coffees that still taste great. The food was also wonderful and was prepared fresh in the open kitchen right in front of us. We fully intend to go back.

My mom and I tried their Cherry Lemonade and their breakfast tacos. I had sausage and my mom had ham. They were delicious! The environment is comfort and inviting! Their plants in the windows are huge and well kept. Their patio area at the time had a mariachi band and they sounds awesome! Highly recommend if you want some wonderful home cooked foods with a wonderful atmosphere, food and amazing riverside vibes!

The Girl working there today had a fantastic attitude and smile even though we stepped in right before close. We never would have known if we hadnt asked. She was super pleasant and deserves a big thumbs up.

Great food. Good spot. The only issue I have is it is pretty expensive for what you get. Lunch for 15 is becoming the norm tho. Can’t complain too much. The club sandwich was delicious and perfectly cooked. I will be going back for sure.

Great place for breakfast and coffee. Try the Black Bean Brunch Bowl. All the breakfast selections are great and cooked to order. Outdoor seating and live music through the week and mornings. Homemade pancakes too.

We tried this place today for the first time and it was delightful. We both had the chicken salad sandwich and it was yummy. The side salad was good also and generous enough to be a light meal on its own.

Im hoping this comes across as constructive criticism and not bashing because I really want to like this place!I paid a second visit to this place several days ago and it turns out they no longer offer any sort of discount on plain coffee refills for customers who remain on the premises. This is only the 2nd coffee shop I have ever encountered on my nationwide travels that does this. I was going to stay and have some food (you know, spend more money), but decided not to when I found this out.To make it worse, they serve your coffee in a very small coffee cup (way too small to be called a mug).

We went for the first time today. I must say the food was amazing. My wife got chicken mole enchiladas with black beans and rice. I personally hate mole and black beans but I tried hers and was amazed at the richness and flavor. I have to admit that I would eat it. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage covered in gravy and it was delicious. I didnt know if I was going to like the sausage gravy because it has egg, sausage, and bacon in it. It was hearty, seasoned wonderfully, and very creamy and quite amazing. I spoke to the chef and he told me that they change the menu monthly so it doesnt get stagnant. The place is very clean, cool, and eclectic. So in closing, it is definitely a must try and we will be back again and again.

Absolutely love the minimalist yet interesting drink and food menu. Particularly loved the mayan latte (asked for mine less sweet but with the usual amount of cayenne in it and it was yummy!). The only reservation (reason for less stars) I have is their unwillingness to have patrons wear masks appropriately during covid...

This is a fine, cute coffee shop in the Riverside part of Wichita. That fact coupled with the otherwise dearth of options gives this place an immediate four stars. The decent, but not incredible craft only girds up the four stars. But there is five star service, and thats always appreciated. I hope places like this thrive and keep the local economy rolling.

Great coffee house (literally)! I dont go here often, but when I do the experience is great. From meeting random new people, to the spontaneous live music which is really just like jam sessions, to just coming here to enjoy coffee, lunch, PIE and get some work done on the laptop or read a book. Its a great all around place, with some outdoor seating too. Its also a very bike friendly area.

Wonderful coffee! Extremely nice people and great biscuits and gravy. They put bacon, sausage, and chopped boiled eggs in the gravy! Yum! Very reasonably priced and incredible service. I would strongly recommend this establishment!

Love the atmosphere and the service is very friendly. Loved the jazz when sitting outside but too loud inside.The tee selection was slim and the only black tea was earl gray, so I had water. Hade the breakfast tacos and they were only okay. The tortillas were not very good which really brought the meal down.Regular coffee was only okay but the funky monkey coffee was really good. The tree hugger was also good but half the tortilla was left on the plate

I had breakfast tacos that were so delicious! My friend had the breakfast sandwich - YUM. And another friend had the waffle. Not going to lie, that waffle SLAPPED! Love sitting outside in the morning. Workers wiped down tables as soon as people left. Ill definitely be back.

Fun atmosphere, nice acoustic music playing on this cozy Sunday morning. The staff is attentive and friendly. We had the biscuits and gravy along with the breakfast tacos. Both were really good. I would pick the tacos over the biscuit and gravy. The Mayan was my drink of choice. After reading reviews about the Mayan and the Funky Monkey I didnt know which one to pick. The staff suggested the Mayan if I liked a little spice. Excellent choice it was, a little spice but not to much. We will definitely come back.

Very community driven, counter culture kind of coffee shop. I got the sense that it might be easy to not fit in (not as friendly as I expected) but that could have been me projecting. My Mayan mocha was pretty good. I bought some atole (meso American, corn based version of hot chocolate thats kind of like cream of wheat) there which was more expensive than I anticipated and wasnt very good when I made it (but hey, I tried it).

I truly love visiting this coffeeshop. Even if its bustling with music and visitors, I find myself able to still isolate and read without distraction. I would say this is greatly due to the ambiance captured here -- great live performances, lovely art, warm coffee aromas, and a diverse crowd usually. Safe place for everyone!

Wow, talk about professional service here! We had our drinks and lattes made in no time at all, and we were back on the road again in short order. Thank you, folks for the great service! I shared a pesto turkey sandwich too, which was very good!! Raspberry chicken salad is delicious. Wonderful tomato bisque for the tomato fans. All home made. The house chips were good too!

You come here for the people, not the coffee. Every time I visit, the coffee shop is packed with customers, both inside and out, conversing and having a great time. The coffee is delicious. Its PTs coffee from Topeka which is another great coffee shop that roasts their own coffee beans. The music is also very enjoyable. Jazz is the primary music selection, although there are nights for indie music as well. Great people, great coffee!
