I brought a conversion van here for an inspection and repairs prior to purchasing for a relative of mine in Colorado.The people were all very friendly, but that’s about where this review ends with positive notes.Had to bring the van back twice for the exact same issue that was “fixed” within 2 days of picking it up from the dealer. Then the van left Kansas on its way to Colorado to help my family with their needs.The exact same issue came up with the van again within weeks of getting to Colorado - Leaving my family without means of transportation for their handicapped son. Not to mention the safety issue of not repairing a fuel leak properly. After more than $1,500 in ADDITIONAL repairs performed at a local mechanic in Colorado, they told my uncle that the repairs were never done correctly by Hatfield and explained why they were done incorrectly. That’s the initial disappointment…My uncle has reached out multiple times hoping Hatfield would make things right on their end, but no one will return communication or reach out to my uncle.This is incredibly unacceptable for a local business who is supposed to help serve people who need these vehicles. A business should stand by their reputation and work and in this case, neither the work nor the business can be spoken of in positive terms.

I have fallen and got tossed from my wheelchair twice because my van no longer fits my needs but they wont help me this place is terrible they treat you great until you buy something but heaven forbid something changes and you need help well you just as well forget it you are stuck with a vehicle that doesnt work for you anymore and that you owe $4000 more than its worth less than a year after you got it stay far away from these people they are crooks

Service department was terrible. Took both tires from my bike to get changed, they originally told me it would take a week to finish. After the week I called and they were going to be done the next day, went up the next day after not being able to get them on the phone and my tires still weren’t done. After letting them know that I was displeased with the service so far they informed me that they had not even received the tubes to do the tires. So when I called they didn’t even check on my order and then lied to me again while I was up there. The service manager gave lots of excuses without actually owning up to not checking on my order or telling me how long it would actually take. Bad service overall and didn’t try and do anything to rectify the situation wouldn’t let them work on my stuff again.

Traded for a 2017 Dodge converted van on September 13,2017. Part of the negotiation with Jordan and John was the I would receive the factory $1000.00 rebate. As of this writing I have not received. Every time I call I am told that they will check with someone else and get back to me. I have not received any call backs. I question the owners response to the other reviews about doing business honestly and fairly. At this point I would not recommend any one buy from this business. 3/14/2018 I was contacted a month or so ago By one of the managing partners, Jason and he readily sent me a check for to cover the rebate. I appreciate that the negotiation that I had with Hatfield was finally honored. I am still a little put out that I had to hound them for the money and that it took so long.

I am a paraplegic, which means I am paralyzed from the waist down. I had previously used a Honda Accord with hand controls installed to get around. It was a hassle, and the time it took to load/unload my chair greatly affected travel plans. Eventually, I stopped travelling all together. Then, I was presented with a solution - a van with a ramp that allowed easy and instant access to the vehicle. After an easy process of looking through the options, discussing payment and processing the necessary paperwork, I finally had my lifechanging vehicle.Whenever I go back for routine service, they greet me by name. They have made a very lengthy transition easy and stress-free. If you are looking for a new accessible vehicle, this is your stop. 5/5. Thanks for everything!

We had a great experience, the sales team was knowledgeable and listened to our needs. Our son has CP and can’t walk. Jordan and John did a great job handling our trade in and helped tremendously with the purchase of a newer van with all the fix-ins for handicap accessible ramps. We are so pleased with our new van. I highly recommend Jay Hatfeild Mobility .

Met at the door with my walker and was treated great!!! They didnt have the exact model I was looking for so they ordered it for me to try. It was just what I wanted so I bought it. Really professional staff that treat you well. Go see them.

The five stars were earned by Tria. She works with the service manager.My husband and I were extremely frustrated. We couldnt get the person (not from the Wichita office) who we bought the Bruno chair lift from to respond to our repeated requests for repair. The chair was installed 2 years ago for our 95 year old mother that we moved into our home. After months of aggravation I called the Wichita location. My call was sent to Tria. She told me she would have answers in 15 to 20 minutes. She called me back sooner! She let me know that the service person would call soon. We now have an appointment for Friday morning. Thank you Tria!!! Jay Hatfield Mobility should be thrilled to have you taking care of business for them. Our previous experience has not been good. If you are considering purchasing a Bruno, call the Wichita location.

We are enjoying our Pacifica conversion van. Jordon and John were very helpful in helping us find a van that met our needs. Jordon delivered the van to our home in Montezuma so we didn’t have to make a return trip to Wichita. Also purchased a Jazzy Air power chair at a great price. My elderly parents bought a mobility van from Jay Hatfield less than a year ago when my mother was diagnosed with ALS. 11 months later, mom has passed and Jay Hatfield is more than willing to buy the van back at nearly 1/2 what they charged my parents for it. Condition is as good as it was when sold for $32,000 with less than 5,000 miles added to it and they offer $17,000. The only thing wrong with the van is that Jay Hatfield disposed of the passenger seat. Dealer installed a wheelchair lock when mom got her chair, but they disposed of the seat. So now we have a van that Jay Hatfield wont buy back at a fair price and a van that does not have a passenger seat. Be very wary dealing with this company. I think they took advantage of my mothers situation to make a fast buck. Theyve also lied about the van seat saying my elderly father took possession of it. Then changed story to say they delivered to the house. Another lie because its not there. Ill close by saying that the only reason I gave them one star is because Google wont let me grade them lower. If you are in need of a van, shop around, there are other dealers in WIchita, this dealership is not to be trusted.

Absolutely unbelievable, I called last week to rent a wheelchair accessible van. Was told it was reserved and I just needed to send a copy of my drivers license & insurance before our pick up. I tried to email a few times as I had the wrong email address, but I finally got through today. I also needed verify the price because I thought it had been quoted wrong.....Im told they made a mistake and rented it to someone else because that person didnt check with the person who had rented it to me. Oh and I could rent one in LENEXA. hmmmm. Lenexa is right next door to Wichita right??Ive asked for a manager to call me, we will see how this turns out.
