I was able to purchase the Taos, the car Ive been looking at for a few weeks now. With the help of Jacob, and Frank it was pretty smooth. Im very pleased with the service provided and I highly recommend Mike Stevens Volkswagon Dealership as a place you can rely on for detailed attention and great communication.
Let me tell you guys!! After all of the terrible experiences with other car dealers ships.... I could not have asked for a better experience!!!. Between giving me over what I paid for my car. To getting me in the right price range for me and my family. I could absolutely not ask for a better car dealership. The hospitality from the sales man Colby and frank at finance was 100 percent. Highly recommend both and the entire team.
The process of buying my first was a roller coaster experience for me. While I had terrible experiences with other dealerships, Mike and Steven VW turned out to be fantastic. Great customer service one would really expect, and special kudos to Koy and Kelvin. Everyone over there was very friendly.
I bought my car back in January, first time car buying experience. Everything was fine, I got the car, Koy was super friendly. But the next day after getting my car, the check engine light comes on. Take it in, no problem. Found out I only have a 1 month or 3,000 mile warranty. They basically told me nothing was wrong with the car, check engine light was mysteriously off again. Two days later, same exact thing happens. My car had its check engine light on for most of the first month. Over and over again. Also, within that first month, my whole TURBO WENT OUT AND PUT 300 MILES ON MY CAR IN THE PROCESS. They replaced it since I was still on warranty at the time. Kicker is, I’m only 19, not allowed to get a rental. But they sold me a lemon, and they know they did. Got a rental for the whole first month I had my car, free of charge. Then they tried putting a 50 mile a day limit ??? I live 45-50 minutes away from the dealership. Months go by, no problems. Then all of a sudden ALL of my tire sensors went out. And on top of that, I went in for a routine oil change, just to have the service people tell me that I had a leak in my coolant line and a leak in my oil. Tried to charge me OVER 500 dollars just to be able to get the oil leak fixed and a diagnosis done on the coolant line. Ever since then I’ve had problems with my coolant line, blown hoses, reservoir cracks, over heating, etc. And on top of this, I’m pretty sure they put straight water in my reservoir. I’m so fed up with this company, I just recently read the reviews. If I had read them back in January, I wouldn’t have bought a car here. DONT buy a car from this place, you may be stuck in the same situation.
This dealership was amazing to deal with from start to finish. My sales person Kyle was very professional and friendly was a pleasure to deal with. The leader Chad helped answer any questions throughout the deal. No pressure on buying at all. The receptionist was very friendly as well. They stayed late to finish the deal.
I recently took my 2015 Beetle in for an oil change. The oil change itself went relatively smoothly, they said it would take 30 minutes-hour and it ended up being just under an hour. When I was notified that my car was finished, I made my way to the cash register and paid for the work that had been done. After paying, I saw one of the workers get in my beetle and begin to back it up (so that they could then pull it all the way through the garage). The next thing I know CRASH! The employee had just backed my car into another car that had been sitting there for quite some time. Before I could even look at the damage, the employee who had just checked me out (and watched the whole thing right next to me) was already offering me a rental car or a shuttle to get home. He then told me that they would take car of the damages and that I should leave my car there so that it could be taken care of sooner rather than later. It then took nearly two days for the dealership to contact us about what was being done to fix the damages (as far as a new bumper etc.). When they finally called and told us the car was finished, my father and I went to pick up my car and noticed that the body shop had left a part of the fender in a misshapen fashion. My dad requested the fender be fixed and so it was. Overall, this was not a good experience at Mike Steven Volkswagen. I would just like to mention that not one person apologized for the damages done to my car. The individuals we spoke to repeatedly said “these things happen” and “it was just a mistake”. I did not hear one word from the employee who was responsible for crashing my car.
They cleaned my car just on a visit. Great place to get your car serviced and the prices are unbelievable. Thanks crew
So first off Id like to say that the dealership took care of me in the past for my first purchase back in 2012 so I wanted to come back to help my sister get a vehicle but it was not the same experience as the first. The salesman did his job just fine and the finance team made their job easy. However when push came to shove we got called back because the bank needed other things including a cosigner when at first it wasnt needed. We were told everything would get taken care. At the end of the deal we left with the car but after a couple of days we received the call we wouldnt enjoy. The dealership says we need to come up with more money even though we have given everything weve got until she gets her job.. Now we are at an impossible turning point. Returning the car and leaving my sister with her three kids without a vehicle and no way to work. I really wanted her first time buying a car to work out. But it seems like the family that took care of me in my hard times didnt take care of sister on even harder times. Mike Steven group is falling short on their promise to help and assist families move forward and keep rolling in the right direction. This will be the last time I trust their dealership sad as it is to say.
We had an excellent experience purchasing from Mike Steven Volkswagen. Our sales rep, Tim McLeod was awesome! His knowledge of the car, and the very smooth negotiations, were the best we have ever felt about a car purchase. Highly recommend this dealership and our sales rep.
Have brought at other dealerships but hands down this is the best dealership Ive been to. Colby my salesman always takes care of me, this is my 2nd vehicle from him and I plan on coming back to him. This dealership has the best hospitality all around than any dealership Ive been at. Plus they gave me a free piece of jewelry
This place is awesome if you’re in the market for a new vehicle! Koy W and Anthony R were extremely helpful and had a “no pressure” attitude which made me super comfortable! I love my R-Line Tiguan! I’m glad we were able to make a deal! 10/10 great experience!
Had a very positive experience in purchasing two vehicles from Mike Stevens within a one week period. Koy was our sales rep. An awesome young man that did not use sales pressure tactics. I bought a VW Beetle R-line 2.0 6-speed in 2014 from Mike Stevens. This car was totaled when hit from behind at an impact of 40 mph. Thank God I survived but the Bug didnt :( !! I really did like the performance of the car and always wanted to buy another VW Bug, especially if it could take a hit like the one I experienced. Police on the scene mentioned that VW Bugs were made pretty solid. I saw one on their lot that I liked and traded that day. Service department kept the Bug to repair minor body dents and scratches on rims. They gave me a loaner which was an Atlas. I had never heard of this model of VW. I usually prefer to drive smaller cars but the minute I was on the street in the Atlas, feel in love with how it drove and was very comfortable driving it. Long story, short...bought the Atlas that same week for husband. This story started out with the great rapport established by Koy from the moment we drove on their lot, but everyone at Mike Stevens, from the GM, to sales, to the service department and finance were all very responsive to exactly what we wanted out of this car buying experience! Even got to meet Mike Stevens! A great company and employees to work with!
Bought a car from here and paid for the extended 4 year bumper to bumper warranty. The clutch went out and am now having issues with the transmission and they want me to pay thousands of dollars to fix it Even though I bought a warranty that covers everything mechanicaly for 4 years. I feel like this company played me out of my money. I do not recommend ever buying from this dealership. I would avoid frank because he is the one who said to buy the Warranty to avoid paying for any possible issues that could happen with this car. Just to find I paid for a warranty that doesnt cover anything I was promised. Do not waste your time or money with this company.
I used to not have a real great impression of this place, but they have been treating me quite well the last several years. My Passat has had all its oil changes done here. 189000 miles and running very well.
With my family being from Missouri...we really like the fact that Mike Steven VW is open on Saturdays for service...car support is very important when traveling
I just bought a vehicle from Mike Steven VW and was fortunate enough to have Koy working with me. He was casually energetic, and very down to earth. He was super friendly and easy to talk to. I never once felt pressure or uncomfortable. He got the ball rolling early so I didn’t have to spend my whole evening there. I let him know when I was arriving and by the time i pulled in to the dealership he had the car cooled off and ready to go for us. He also reached out after I had bought the vehicle and if I ever had any questions he was always available to answer them. So again thank you Koy and M.S. VW.
Everyone is super friendly! This absolutely a no pressure environment. I had Chad as my salesman and I cannot express enough how patient he was as I looked from car to car. He is extremely personable and does everything he can to make sure you feel comfortable the whole time and have the best experience possible. Frank, in finance, is awesome too! He made sure we had a good layout of all of our options to make sure we were able to make the best choice for us. I couldnt be happier with my experience with this business! Even sales staff not working with us were very polite. I highly recommend doing business with them.
You can negotiate there not everyone who likes to negotiate but me I from the Caribbean we like to negotiate everything so it was great for me.😘😘
Excellent customer service from Steven Volkswagen. I was passing through town and had an issue with my Passat. I called the service department and they were really helpful and told me to bring the car in. They found the issue, made the fix, free of charge and got me back on the road. I really appreciate them going the extra mile to help me out. Even though I hadnt bought my car from them. Fantastic service. I highly recommend Mike Steven VW .
I cant speak for the rest of the dealership...But their parts department guys wear the freshest clothes, eat at the chillest restaurants and hang out with the hottest chicks. 10/10 would drink beer with these gents.
Joey Hale was so helpful in getting my trade set up. He was friendly and knowledgeable which helped us a lot. Really enjoyed our time at the dealership. Really quick and easy process.
I went here to purchase my first new car and was treated like a child who had no intent to purchase. I ended up buying my car 6 hours away since they refused to give me several standard rebates at Steven VW. I then had to use the service center for a couple warranty issues. During one instance, I was out of a car for 3 weeks straight to replace a plastic connector tab. Only upon contacting corporate did they fix my car and cover the rental costs. Ridiculously poor communication skills, customer service, and knowledge of their own product. Buying a car here is a sure bet to getting ripped off.
Just bought my 4th car. I used and 3 new. Have always got great service and the people are all great. They go out of there way to make sure you are happy.
The service department needs to either update their website program or respect it more. Drove 45 miles just to find out they couldn’t help me today like I scheduled online. Then told me a loaner car was 10 dollars a day with a 50mile limit. THAT WOULD BARELY GET ME HOME. The website indicated there was no cost or mileage limit on a loaner car. He told me I should just call them next time, well in times passed they are ticked if I call in and tell me they don’t schedule things ahead, you just have to drive in. Hence why I decided to try the online. Bad mistake guess I’ll call their highness next week and try to get my car goin.
I was so scared to purchase a car by myself. I contacted them on line and told them which car I was interested in. I had an appointment the next day. In less than a few I learned about their services toured the facilities was treated so wonderful.I came home with the VW Jetta I fell in love with.Thank you so much for your kindness and help through this process. Joey Hale sales and Frank/Alex in finance were absolutely wonderful.
Called to the dealer for a VW Jetta SE that they had listed in their website and in Cargurus, they confirmed it was in stock. When I went to check in person the manager said he was sorry, the salesman was confused and that the car had already been sold. 4 days later the car still listed on both sides. This dealership has zero integrity, they list cars to appeal to people so when you go to the dealer they try selling you another car.
I recently took my VW Touareg in to get a coolant leak fixed. I had taken it to 2 shops previously who diagnosed the problem, but were unable to fix it. One shop sold me the part to fix it, but neither place charged me for the diagnostic because they were unable to fix it. This place claims the diagnostic fee goes toward the cost to fix the problem, but this is where they tried robbing us. They claimed we had both temperature control valves leaking and were the only shop to say it was more than just the one. They more than doubled the price of a job that we provided the factory part for and gave us a quote of $823 . We got it done across town for less than $300. They wouldn’t refund our $118 service charge when they misdiagnosed the issue and clearly were the only shop around to do this. There are plenty of other reliable shops in town who won’t up charge you for something that doesn’t need to be fixed.
The service department is always clean, efficient and curtious to me.They answer my questions and explain what is needed.
MIKE STEVENS’ MGMT. PLEASE PAY ATTENTIONI am a difficult customer who happens to have a 2010 Jetta that needed some pretty serious transmission work performed this year.I just want to give a shout out to at least three of the individuals (that I have met) and those three can give a shout out to the mechanics involved...Matt, Svc. Mgr.,Daniel, Svc. Writer, andMercedes, Svc. Writer and Rentals.Daniel... Thanks for your patience and understanding of my problem which you handled with genuine empathy. Furthermore for translating my needs to the mechanical staff.Matt... Your technical guidance kept me grounded and well-informed and I am sure you are proud of your staff.Mercedes... Genuine smiles are rare these days but yours is inspiring. Thank you for your assistance in situating me perfectly in that nice new 2020 Passat. Here’s to hoping that this is the last service for a long time; not because I don’t appreciate all of your smiling faces but because I have a reliable vehicle.
Like so many other people I’ve not had some of the best experiences when buying cars from other dealers. This time though was honestly just what I was looking for when buying a new car. My Salesperson Chad was easy-going, knowledgeable but not pushy in the least. I made the decision on the car I wanted & Frank their finance guy made it happen! Very thankful to the whole team, you guys were fantastic! I’ll definitely be back.
Sketchy and awkward sales tactics. They ask for $20 cash while negotiating price. Why you ask? Exact quote: well that way you dont leave. Not only that, but they tried to RAISE the sale price published on the ad by thousands of dollars. Uh...hard no. We still bought the van but found out later the fuel door is busted. They want to charge us over $250 to fix it when they sold it to us this way. They also forgot to give us our $20 back, then they push the warranty on you. The warranty is garbage with a $250 destructible. So Ill be canceling that next.
If I could have rated zero stars I would. NEVER get your vehicle serviced here. We got my Jetta fixed here a few months ago and my car broke down again. They said it would be 1000.00 to fix. Then they called and said it would be another 1000.00 to fix i said no. He said it would still be drivable but the part will go out at some point I said ok. I go to pick up my car they said 1900.00 I said no that is not what you said. I asked did you fix the other part he said no and that is what I quoted you. He continued to argue with me and finally came down a bit. So I paid over 1000.00 and my car is still not fixed. Scam artists.
Great service had my car in and out in no time very good service people
We bought a 2017 Jeep Renegade from them and it was one of the most easiest car purchases I have ever had. Our salesman, Chad, was great and answered any questions we had. Frank and Kelvin in the Finance department worked their tails off to make sure we got the payment where we wanted. I would highly recommend!
As a first timer car buyer, I had been watching for deals around town and saw MSVW was doing a promotion. Upon deciding I was interested in a specific selection of cars offering special interest payments which I very blatantly stated Were the only cars I was interested in on the first introduction to my salesman, I was baited and switched. The car that was online in the section I was interested in, when I got to the store was not available in that section because of some technicality which didn’t seem legitimate. When I was introduced to the car salesman, it was in the middle of a smoke break (which isn’t the issue but you couldn’t wait till he was done to introduce me to him?) and he rolled his eyes before even being introduced. After looking at cars that interested me I picked one I was interested in and wanted to test drive specifically because it was in the 0% interest area( or so I was told on the lot). After sleeping on it and coming back the next day, I decided I wanted to purchase the car I test drove. I went through the whole back and froth process of numbers and what not until finally shaking the salesman’s hand at what I thought was a good price. I was NOT told I wouldn’t be able to get the car I wanted at the price I had shaken the salesman’s hand for. Upon entering the financing office, I was told I couldn’t qualify for certain interest rate because I didn’t have a high enough credit score which isn’t a massive ordeal but I wasn’t told this before (information withheld), this being withheld until I’m with a finance person, AND that it would cost me an extra 1000 dollars on top of the price I had already shaken on to qualify the car in order to get 0 percent interest, something I didn’t have a high enough credit score for anyways( now that’s funny). Now there are ways around this issue. To top it all off, after deciding I did want to qualify This car to receive 0 interest for so many months, it would go through a qualification inspection once I decided. After driving the car for a couple days, I noticed a slight squeaking noise coming from a wheel, I scheduled an appointment with the service dept for the car I had bought 3 days earlier, and was told I would need a whole new set of wheels because of a divot in one tire and it wouldn’t be covered by my warranty, this was something caused by “wear and tear” on a vehicle only a year old, and this was something that wasn’t caught by my inspection. After learning this I spoke with the General Manager who, after hearing all this was visibly upset. He went to speak with someone for a very short span of time, came back without apologizing or anything of the sorts, tells me I won’t be paying anything for my wheels (that I shouldn’t have had a problem to begin with).I got a good deal on my car And I enjoy my car, but My experience with the employees at Mike Steven Volkswagen was terrible all the way up to the general manager, who didn’t even so much as apologize for a TERRIBLE car buying experience.
Horrible place to buy a car, salesman Rob just wanted to tell us a sob story about how his wife left him told us they would save the car and we would finish up paperwork and they would call us then ignored our calls after they sold it from under us.
Typical Steven’s company. Price online was $14k and sticker window price was $17k, they came up with some reason why... shady is what it was. Wanted to pay outright for a vehicle and they wouldn’t quit pushing financing. They also were very pushy on the vehicle that smelled like gasoline on the inside and upset when we wouldn’t give them our info so they could harass us after we left. Will never buy from a Steven’s car lot, very shady.
Despite having an insulting and frustrating purchasing experience, we purchased an Atlas, only to trade it back in for an Odyssey 1 year later, to escape the same practices and policies utilized by the service department.
Exceptional service and quality work.
All staff are professional, courteous, friendly, fast and helpful. Tymothy Crawford was fantastic!! Best experience ever buying a car! Thank you kindly. It was a pleasure meeting you all!
I have brought my VW Passet in serial ti.es for different things from coolant flushes, tune up and regular service to window tints. The work and actual service done has always been exceptional, their prices on services always beats any shop in town and the $10 a day loaner cant be beat. When it comes to communication and customer service they are lacking... big time. Every trip in requires me to follow up, I have to call. When I was told they couldnt flush my coolant system because their machine was broken i waited mo the thinking they would call..nope. Again, I had to call them. Just brought my car in for window tint and dropped off the night before. Came to pick my car up at almost closing time the next business day only to be told it wasnt ready. Not a big deal when you live in Wichita but I live out by Newton. Tint is flawless and looks great, just wish they would communicate better.
Talk to a member of their staff on Facebook market. Was assured I wouldn’t have a down payment. Got there and there first thing that came out of her mouth was” well I know I told you no deposit... but”, but your just as shady as the rest! Then they walk me to the door and said they’d call me in the morning. Two days later I had to call and ask them not to run my credit. Then I got a call from them and they couldn’t even remember what car I wanted! Unless you have near perfect credit don’t bother with these guys they don’t care! Plus I found an ad for the same car i was trying to buy that they published the car for 1500$ less!
Super pushy and rude sales manager ruined an otherwise positive visit. Who wants to be bullied into making a purchase? I might have come back in a couple months to make a purchase but I’ll go somewhere else.
I called these folks today because Im stranded 500 miles away from home and my headlights wont come on. Im happy to pay for the service and it seems like it might be a simple thing to fix, but I dont know how to do it. Anyway they wont even let me in there because they say theyre just too busy. So here I sit in a hotel thinking that if this were my business, I believe Id go out of my way to take care of stranded travelers in Volkswagens even if it wasnt particularly convenient. Thats my two cents.
Called to have my car serviced cause they are always sending some message about it needing serviced, I call and schedule and am told it will be about an hour, I get there and the guy with terrible time management skills tells me it will be a few hours, I call my father to have him pick me up cause the difference between an hour and a few is a big. The guy shows up after 40-45 min and tells me my car will be ready in 30min with a wash. Their workers need to be given time management classes and not waste so much time for their customers. He popped off with an attitude, like he was right on anything.
Our sales person: Joey Hale was very excited as he is starting the Volkswagen journey. He took no time as to get us our dream car and did an amazing job making sure we were happy with our purchase.
Love the staff
Normal dealer experience...... UPDATE - The customer service was great. Very respectful. Five star customer service, pass it on. I know things cost money. I also know that when a car is taken into the dealer, it seems they think issues with the vehicle need to be factory new. My daughter wanted to bring there car to you to get fixed correctly. She is a student and can not afford to spend $6000.00 to fix everything. This is to you no named management person ( I would use your name ), it takes a special type person to work in management especially at any dealership.
I thought really hard about how we wanted and at what rating to give. Our sales person was wonderful, we love the car.Finance at Steven Volkswagen can not seem to follow a simple directive, in person and via phone & text.Great dealership, different experience, except finance seems the same.Couples know their own dynamic; if they have a way they like to handle business in their relationship, they need the company providing a service for them to work with this dynamic. We know how we work, quit doing the opposite. Just because it is 5 PM, doesnt change that dynamic.
I have bought close to 50 cars and this is by far my best experience. Chad is a fantastic salesman and very knowledgeable.
Awful customer service. Went in to just to look at a car. They pushed me to see what it would be to finance a car. Then when I decided to back out because I found a different car they wanted to get loud with me over the phone. Seriously so disrespectful and will never work with them again.
They are a poor dealership! Everytime Ive had my car in there for repair or service they have messed up something else! That is no lie!!!
Very friendly service department. The took great care of my daughter car.
My wife and I were in the market for a new car (our very first brand new car) we came across Mike Stevens Volkswagen and decided to make the two hour drive after email and calls back and forth. Physia, Missy, and Calvin were very happy to help, answering all of our questions and made sure that we were comfortable with the whole process, they made sure we understood every part of the process and got us an awesome deal. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who is in the market for a new car and they have definitely made a repeat customer!
Though we weren’t able to make a deal, staff was excellent! No pressure to buy and definitely made me feel they were trying to get me the best trade in value for my car.
We recently purchased a 2016 Volkswagen Bug from Jeff Gordon. We found Jeff to be not only knowledgeable and professional, but also very personable. We would not hesitate to recommend Jeff and Mike Steven Volkswagen to anyone in the future. Thanks for a great experience, Jeff! We love the car! - Glenna and John
Loved my salesman Paul! I wasn’t sure what I wanted and he took the time to show me everything until I found my car! They aren’t just good car salesman, they genuinely care about finding you the perfect car for your budget! I will recommend them to everyone!
Took my car in for the 70K tune up. They topped everything off an inspected the car. I feel that I was very much overcharged for an oil change and inspection that Midas ended up doing for free when I got my brake pads replaced. The staff there is very friendly and did get my car out of the shop the next day so no complaints there!
We recently bought a jeep there. We went to look at the car a couple times before buying it. Christina Foreman helped us and she was very nice. She was not pushy or trying to pressure us into anything and we really appreciated that. That brought us back to actually buy the jeep. We loved our car but we also loved her helping us and being so friendly when helping us. When we came back the next time we met with a gentleman named Darin because Christina was not in yet. He was nice too. My only complaint was that the finance guy, who was very informative which was nice, but he tried selling us GAP 3 or 4 times when we said no. Then when we came back they had taken the price of our car to $1000 less just so they could add in the $900 GAP policy. He kept pushing it and I kept saying so so he finally took it off. I am a former banker and sold GAP and I knew what I was getting/not getting by saying no to GAP. Other than that, we had a decent experience and really enjoyed talking with Christina and she was very down to earth as well. Thanks a lot!
Found a used Mazda CX 5 online; went to look at it on a Friday night. I was welcomed by a friendly sales associate, Jeff Gordon. I went back Saturday and worked out a deal. The process was painless. I was very happy with how Jeff spoke with me. He was not your typical sales person. I didnt feel pressured to buy and he wanted to work out a deal that worked for me. **Beware of the finance manager who adds all the extra warranties and packages without asking first. Had to tell him to take it all off. I would recommend Jeff as a sales associate.
Had a great experience with Jeff Gordon as my sells representative. When he and I first talked, I was not his customer as I was scheduled to meet with someone else. Despite that, he answered all the questions I had while I waited for my appointment. I later requested if we could have him as our sells rep and they readily agreed. Jeff have us a great experience, with no pressure, but lots of information. I can not recommend him enough if you are interested in a VW. Also, Kelvin, who was our financial guy helped with all our details and was excellent to work with. Very positive in attitude, flexible in methods, and friendly to work with. Certainly would desire to buy a car from them again in the future. Thank you Mike Stevens VW for a wonderful experience. I hope we can do business again in the future, and I hope Jeff and Kelvin are still there.
Great, knowledgeable, professional!!
This dealer had a Lexus IS 350 listed for $24,984 online. I went in to look at the vehicle and test drove it. The sticker on the car said $25,999. I was wanting to buy the vehicle and mentioned to the dealer that I had seen the online price. The dealer said he would speak to his manager and we would get a price worked out. The dealer came back into the room with a piece of paper with $25,999 written on it. I chuckled. I told him again about their online price and that’s the price I’m negotiating from.He said he needs $20 just to hold onto if we want to negotiate price, but we would get that right back if we didn’t agree on something. I was amused, but gave him $20 to hold onto to negotiate a price. He comes back into the room again, this time with $25,000 written on the paper. Still a higher price than they have listed online. They try to give some BS excuse about how they don’t have control over the online price even though they were the ones that posted it.At this point I was done dealing with them. Not only were they FALSE ADVERTISING., but it was wrong to continue offering above the price they had the car listed at.I showed them other cars that were priced way lower than what they had theirs listed at with similar mileage.Edit to respond to managers comment : they only offered to match the price they had the car listed at as I was walking out the door. I price shopped for other Lexus with similar miles. I found one that was the exact same, same red interior, listed for 2,000 less than what this dealership was selling theirs for. There were also others listed at a lower price (just with a different interior). Theirs was overpriced. I showed them several other listings of IS at lower prices.
I bought my Jetta there, 2 years ago, and am just as in love with it, as I was the day I bought it. Jeff Gordon is a fantastic salesman, and knew more about the car than I could have imagined. He was extremely professional, and even gave me a call, days later, to see how things were going with the car. Also, Sarita, the insurance lady was incredibly professional, and worked hard to find me a good insurance rate. Your staff is badass, and I love you guys.
I love when I come in for service and they remember my name, very friendly and professional staff.
Jacob Nelson (Smurf)Jacob is very good at what he does. Had a co worker looking for a car and he was looking way ahead of time. And he was making sure that she was happy. Jacob is very professional at what he does!!! Very good at making sure that you get all that you want! Good job Smurf! (Jacob)
The whole staff at Steven Volkswagen is amazing. They really helped me out. I didn’t feel an ounce of pressure. They went above and beyond to help me get in the car I wanted. I especially enjoyed working with Tommy Twitchell. He really cares about what he does and he has done great research on the cars he sells. I would definitely buy another car from him.
Go see Chad Sawyer. I went in looking for a vehicle for my daughter. He was polite, not at all pressuring. I told him I was strapped for time and he listened, getting me info I needed and out the door. He followed up a couple days later just like he said he would. Respect brother. Hard to find non pressure salesmen anymore.
Great place! Quick and clean
I had an amazing experience with Spencer this past weekend. He was very knowledgeable on every car we looked at and I cant wait to have my down payment saved so I can go back to him to sell my car to me. What a nice young man. Volkswagen looks so much better with this knowledgeable salesman. Thank you Spencer!
Poor service department, took my car there for a oil leak and they charge me over $1.6 and still didn’t fix the problem. Then they told me I would need a new motor and that was going be over $8k but they would take away the $1.6 and that was over $6k for everything. So I had a 2nd look done to it and it was a leak around the timing and it coast me less then $800 to fix. They are a rip off.
I had a great experience here. Tim was my guy and he was super helpful and stayed with me during my whole car buying journey! Sweet man and very helpful! Would recommend going to see him!
See Darin petrie!! He was great and got me an amazing deal on my car! Would recommend going here for a car 20/10 thank you Darin and the rest of the managers you all are awesome!
Thank you Travis!!! I love my new Beetle convertible! Your attention to detail and knowing exactly what I was looking for proved to be invaluable. Needless to say you know what youre talking about. I appreciate the extra time you took with us even though it was a holiday weekend. I feel comfortable telling my friends to go see you if theyre looking for personal attention without the high pressure sales pitch. Another thank you to Matt B. in the service department for always taking great care of us. This is the second new Beetle weve purchased from Steven Volkswagen and have been very satisfied.
The whole car buying experience makes me extremely anxious and nervous. But Francisco made everything easy and understanding. I found it easier to buy a car with my two children then to go grocery shopping with them. I will and have recommended Mikes Steven Volkswagen to everyone I know looking to purchase a car. I love my car, which is something I havent been able to say for a long time.
Joseph Murphy was the BEST salesman I have ever had to deal with. We were purchasing a car for my son and never once was he pushy. Joseph treated with the utmost respect. His work ethics and his genuineness made the experience a great one! I will be back to deal with him when it is time for my youngest son to drive. Alma Hammer
Very helpful people. Weve bought 2 cars from them and will probably buy the next one there too.
I had referred 3 different buyers to this dealer.I recently had a very sad interaction with the staff.Tim M. Had satisfied everyone unfortunately he wasnt able to assist in this interactionWe will take our purchase elsewhere and recommend our future recommendation go elsewhere as well.
Just purchased our second vehicle from Mike Steven Volkswagen. This time, Jeff Gordon was our salesman. It was great to work with him. He facilitated the process and made sure everything went smoothly. He also went out of his way to make sure we were able to take delivery of our new vehicle within 4 days after purchasing. Our vehicle came from a dealer in Missouri. Jeff also took the time to go over all the features in our vehicle at time of delivery. We highly recommend Jeff to anyone looking into buying a vehicle at Mike Steven VW.
I just purchased my car from here and Dewey was my salesman, he was wonderful! He didnt hassle me with high pressure sales like I experienced with others. Although Orlando (I believe he was a manger of some sort) did not set well with me. I was happy not to see him the last two times I was there to purchase my car. All in all I got the car I wanted for a price I thought was fair.
Crew Leader was Very Pushy... not going back tgere.
I want to let others know what GREAT SERVICE we received from JEFF GORDON.He gave us great customer service and went above and beyond to help get the vehicle we were looking for and wanted. We had a list of wants and needs and he tried to deliver everyone. He was knowledgeable and wanted to service us our needs, not just sell us a car. Ask for Jeff and you will be glad you did. If he is not available his side kick DON FOX will be able to give you great service as well, they both helped us get the vehicle we wanted. Even if is not a Volkswagen, check with them first to see what they can get you. We bought a 2016 Town and Country Van. Our second vehicle we have purchased from Steven Volkswagen. They even helped us build credit with our first purchase. A great buying experience. Thank you, John & Laura G
Our experience was great from start to finish at Mike Steven VW on Kellogg in Wichita. I was in town for one day and needed to purchase a car. Orlando, the general manager was great. He had Jesse show us what was available in our price range. Jesse was very helpful. We found a good car within our budget. Owen helped us make the transaction smoothly and quickly. We were even able to get the car insured at the Allstate office within the dealership. Overall a 5-Star experience.
It was a great service. I bought a new used car and they were very nice and they werent pushy at all. They fixed the seat before I bought it since it wouldnt go back and Im tall so I needed it to. I strongly recommend people to buy a new or a used car through these people.
I had a great experience at Mike Stevens. De Angelo is an excellent salesman and professional even when me and my family came in right before closing time. Great service. Keep up the good work!
I would like to acknowledge to Mike Steven Volkswagen the great experience I had when I purchased a Chrysler 300. Dean Maxwell is a great salesman and a loving uncle as well. Im enjoying my new 300 and all my friends compliment me on my car as well. I will be sending my friends to Mike Steven Volkswagen and will be in the near future. Thank you Mike Steven and Uncle Dean, I love you
I bought a Chevy Trailblazer from Jeff Gordon. My wife works with Jeffs wife, so we decided to give him a call. He was extremely helpful. Told us everything we needed to know. The most interesting part of the whole transaction was my wife has met the racing legend Jeff Gordon several times, so why not trust someone named Jeff Gordon to buy a car. We had signed all the papers and then the financing department found us a better loan. Will see Jeff in the future for all our vehicle needs. By the way, Jeff, I love that trailblazer and so does my grandson, Stefan. Thank you again.
Darin, Francisco and Sheldon made finding and purchasing the VW Beetle that met my needs and wants fun and easy. They were all pleasant to work with! I especially wanted a manual transmission, which is not as common as it used to be, and they looked until they found one. Francisco spent lots of time talking with us, and he had to ride with us on the test drive. He did so in a cheerful manner, even when I discovered that accelerating in second gear is very quick and easy. This was by far the best car-buying experience I have ever had!
Buying our car took multiple trips to negotiate the price. We had to walk out two times because they kept jerking us around. Now that we are doing Maintenence on the vehicle they try to charge extra for items other places do for free. Once our lease is up we will not be getting a VW again. Buying a car shouldnt be stressful, but it is. And these guys took that to the next level.
Their service department is the friendliest environment. A great group of persons who put your time and experience as a priority.
I had a great car buying experience. The employees were very helpful and informative. My salesman Dean Maxwell was especially great, I enjoyed the small talk and casual banter he brought into my experience buying a car. He was professional, and I enjoyed doing business with him. Thank you!
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a dealership. We spent 5 hours negotiating while my 3 children cried. The manager insulted my husband for letting me come buy a car without a man there to help me. Finally got everything done agreed on price then when they came back with papers to sign it was suddenly $400 higher. I was walking out until they finally dropped it back to the negogotiated price. We finally leave the dealership at 7pm I get 30 minutes away and realized none of the windows will work besides driver window. Obviously the dealership is closed and I had driven 4 hours to get there and wasn’t going to stay the night. When I called the next day they acted oblivious. If the car went through the inspection they say it did that would be something that comes up. Completely withheld that information from me and they told me I could come back and they would pay half to fix it. I’m not driving 4 hours to pay hundreds of dollars to fix something your dealership knew about and lied about. I would never suggest anyone use this dealership ever!!!
I bought a car at Mike Steven Volkswagen. My salesman Darren was a great. He even calls periodically to follow up and make sure we are happy. Which we are. Its the first time Ive heard from a car salesman after the sale. Some people do still believe in customer service.
We were looking for a used vehicle for my son to drive. Darin helped us pick a car with good safety features and gas mileage at a price my son could afford. It was not an easy task but he accomplished it and made the whole experience fun. Sheldon made financing a breeze by offering us several options and making sure we stayed within our budget. When the car had a problem the service department fixed it. Darin and Sheldon made sure we were satisfied with everything before we left. We are very pleased with the whole experience and look forward to purchasing new vehicles from them in the future.
Let me start by saying that dealerships always scared me because of my past experiences. But this dealership just restored my faith that there are still good people who exists in dealerships!! Jeff Gordon......a very wonderful human being....not for a second I had a thought of him being a car sales person. He did his best to get me the best deal possible on a 2018 VW ATLAS, which he did. He was more like a friend than a car salesperson who was trying to help me out. I took a bunch of his business cards to hand them out to my friends and I am pretty sure they are going to get the same awesome treatments as I did. Then there is Vinny the finance guy. I would say he is my brother from another mother. He went beyond his way not only to get me good deal but also hooked me up to have my other car refinanced.Trust me.....this is an awesome dealership because it has these awesome people....they are honest....not pushy at all....if you want a car...look no further.....Mike Stevens Volkswagen is the place to go!!!
I came in late on a Thursday night after a long day at work. Nat was friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable. He is not your typical salesman and it was pleasure working with him in a virtually stress-free environment. Nat did not try to force any unwanted cars or options on me; he did not fill the test drive conversation with endless facts about the car that I was not interested in hearing. After the sale, he has continued to be very customer-service oriented. He even fielded a question of mine well after hours. Nat’s personality seems to mesh with Sheldon and the rest of the sales and parts teams, making the car-buying experience a seamless one. I wish all of my purchasing experiences were as enjoyable as it was with the team at Steven Volkswagen.
Just bought a used car from Justin Holst at Mike Steven Volkswagen. I would like the dealership to know that you have a great salesman working for you. His professionalism and attention to detail is a pleasure to work with when buying a used car. The most notable characteristic about Justin is the fact that he is not a pressure salesman. I will not buy anything from anyone that is a pressure salesman. Thank you Justin for the time and effort that you put into making the deal happen. You all have a very good employee on your hands. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in buying a used car from here. Thanks again. Kenyon Chambers.
I have purchased 2 vehicles from here, and had a great experience both times. They worked well into the night to make my purchase happen, and ensured that I left the lot with everything I needed. Definitely worth the 2 hour drive. Nat Snider was my sales rep, and he did a fantastic job. I will continue to promote this dealership to F/F.
