Excellent experiences here - always. Staff are friendly and do quality work. Prices are fair. Usually in and out fairly quickly. Service Manager, Adam, is very customer-oriented and genuinely likes his job. Mavis White Plains is my go-to place for anything tire related.

Adam from the moment I walked in was very helpful and informative. Please with the amazing customer satisfaction. Good prices of the Goodyear Eagle tires. Would recommend this as a top location if you want the job done right and with transparency.

I would avoid if possible. My steering wheel was worn and the technician went out of his way to rip it way more than it was. Next day I noticed a new scratch in the rear bumper too. The car is a 2008 so I don’t really care that much but I would be pretty upset if this was a newer car. The guy behind the counter (Adam) was great. Without him this would probably have been a 1 star. Firestone and Costco seem like the better options when it comes to tires.

She offered me solutions to my car issues, options, and even tried to help with the price. Last week I stopped in at the Mavis location and was pleasantly met with a gentleman by the name of Yves Henry! Talk about knowledge and professionalism! He showed me all my options with tires and even had my vehicle test driven because I heard a noise in my rear which we found out what the problem was!! Go to this Mavis! This guy Yves is a gem! Adam is a phenomenal employee and person. He’s been working at Mavis for many years and he has assisted me with any problems I’ve had with my vehicles. These guys saved me today! My cars muffler broke today while on the road and every repair shop was closed because its Sunday. As a last ditch effort i pulled up to Mavis and asked them to see if they might be able to re-attach it or at the minimum tie it up so its not being dragged around. I am unfortunately attractive… but not to girls… seems like sharp road objects are my thing. I’ve replaced a ton of tires due to heavy commuting! I use Mavis for the road hazard but I honestly have had horrific experiences at Mavis in several locations. Having said that…I had a bubble in my tire when I arrived at my destination and so I found this Mavis on Russel and made an appointment. I showed up and Adam at the front was friendly, and honestly gave me incredible service, which in my experiences have been a rarity. His estimate was spot on, he really seemed like he cared about making sure the service, price and everything was perfect and it was. I was very happy (clearly) and won’t ditch the company altogether.

This morning on my way to take my teenage children to school my tire busted so I had to call an uber for them to go the rest of the way. Thankfully(so I thought) I was less than 4 minutes away from Mavis and they would open at 8am.Upon Arriving to Mavis All 5 stalls were empty so I parking in front of the first 2 stalls anticipating that I would be told to drive in. But when no one approached my car to instruct me (they instead walked away and paid me no mind) I stepped out to go to the service desk. As I step out this rude associate is waving me off in an annoyed way. I paid it no mind so I opened the door to enter the lobby and before I could even open my mouth to tell him what my emergency was he scolded me in an extremely annoyed way saying PARK THE YOUR CAR IN A SPACE. I asked him where? thinking again that he would lead me towards one of the empty stalls as I have never been to this Mavis before. However again with his nasty attitude stated, I DONT KNOW MISS PICK A SPOT THERE ARE MANY EMPTY SPACES. At this point I snap back and say WHY ARE YOU ANNOYED, I AM A CUSTOMER, WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?Then still with aggravation in his body language and tone he said Maam can you please park put your car in a parking spot? I replied yes I can.Customer service anywhere I go is essential. Needless to say that YVES made my first experience at this Mavis a terrible one. I would have given 1 star but thanks to Adam, one the managers, for helping me calm down and claimed that he will speak to YVES about the situation.In any event this is the first and last time I will be coming here or recommending anyone. I would rather contact my AAA and wait for assistance. Absolutely unnecessary to speak to and treat you first customer of the day or any customer in that manner. Adam gave me a $20 discount for the inconvenience but the tire fee still amounted to $175.31.

Went in for a tire mount and balance. Not sure why it took 2 hours for one tire even with an appointment. Worst part ended up with grease stains all over door sillsOnly positive was it was inexpensive - guess you get what you pay for.

I went to Mavis less than a year ago for a leak in my tire. I was told it can be repaired and I requested a patch. A week ago that same tire was leaking so I called Mavis and they told me this time it was a nail and that the location of the nail prevented it from being repaired and that I need a new tire. I told them to order the tire and received a call two days later to come in that the tire was available. I came in on a Thursday with an appointment and waited 2 hours and I finally saw my car on a lift. The person at the desk called for me and I thought that I was going to pay for the tire but instead he told me that he was very sorry but they didnt have my tire in stock?!?!?!?!?!? I couldnt believe it. I was WAITING 2 HOURS and I had an appointment after a phone call telling me my tire came in. I was told there had to be a mistake that they called me by accident. They couldnt tell me there was no tire when I CHECKED IN???? I was sitting for 2 hours. I took my car and made an appointment with someone else who ordered the tire for me and put it on in one hour. On top of that the person told me there was NO NAIL!!!!!!! The plug that was in my tire (which I didnt ask for, I asked for a patch) was leaking. SO THEY LIED AS WELL. There was never a nail. This place is terrible and deceitful. NEVER GO HERE.

Do not trust this Mavis. I was advised to get work on my car totaling 1000 dollars. I was shown photos. I asked that the photos be sent to me, and when they were not, I was informed they were deleted. I went to another Mavis and asked them to show me what work needed to be done. To my surprise, the photos I had been shown did not match my car. Not even close. No work was needed. This whole experience follows a recommendation some time ago to change my brakes. I checked every year and the brakes are still good years later. Other Mavis stores dont practice these fraudulent policies. This was no joke.

I came into the store and I received a warm welcome by Adam. He was very polite and told me about different tire options for my vehicle and show me what the different tires looked like. I told him I was not ready to purchase today and he was not pushy. Hr told me when I am ready to make my purchase to let him know and if i had anymore questions he would be happy to answer my questions. Mavis is very lucky to have Adam great service and knowledgeable. So with that said I will be go back to see Adam and buy my tires when I am ready

Shop manager by the name of Henry in the White Plains location of Marvis tire discount was very unprofessional and disrespectful. We waited 2.5 hours for a tire to be changed on a rim. Not even mounted to the car. Was quoted a price over the phone and then was told after 2 hours of being here that “oh we don’t have that tire” and is now going to cost an additional 50 dollars for and already over priced tire.Needless to say I will never return to this location and make sure none of my friends, family or customers will ever come here. By far the worst experience and service

Did a good job fixing a nail in tire, and oil change. One thing, be careful they dont convince you to use full synthetic. Many cars dont need it and once you make the switch its hard to go back. Not good for your car.

Had front brake pads put on. Did terrible job and as usual did not do a diagnosis properly. Staff terrible. DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS JUST FOR TIRES AND EVEN THEN I WOULD GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER PLACES IN THE WHITE PLAINS, NY AREA!!!!

Ive been going to make this for years for tires oil changes the main inconvenience was usually the long wait times but it happens. A while back I took my car in to fix a slow leaking tire due to a nail.About a week later that tire started to lose pressure again slowly.When I went back to Mavis they acknowledged the leak was coming from the same area that was repaired. I felt that they should have corrected the issue the second time around without charging me however that was not the case.I paid for another repair on the same tire, and endured another long wait even after making an appointment. Approximately 2 weeks later the tire started leaking again! Unacceptable.Around that time the season was changing and I decided to switch over to snow tires. I purchased my snow tires from Costco in Port Chester because I couldnt see myself giving Mavis more business. I recently went back to Costco to swap my snow tires out. I am quiet about purchasing a new tire to replace the one that was leaking. An associate inspected it and assured me it could be repaired instead. I was apprehensive but I went along with the repair and the tire has been perfect. No leaks no problems.I really dont understand how Mavis could not fix a basic slow leak properly. That really made me lose faith in their service

Went in recently for a flat repair and the Spanish gentleman at the desk was able to help me out. Honestly it was a quick in and out. He was also super helpful and notified me that my brakes needed to be changed soon. Definitely will be back again to get me vehicle serviced with them. I truly enjoyed my experience at Mavis.

I am so grateful to the entire team at Mavis in White Plains! I was in full panic mode waking up with a nail in my tire and needing to get to work ASAP, I arrived at MAvis with no appointment shortly prior to there open time and they were there doors open ready to go already. I walked in with no appointment and panicking and they were so friendly and took me in right away and had me out and at work within the hour. From the front desk gentleman who calmed me down and reassured me they would help me ASAP to the techs who kindly found the wheel locks I tossed into my wheel well when I didnt know what it was. I can not thank them enough and I highly recommend there location and will be a returning customer to this location. Bad service experience. They serviced the brakes of my car a few year back. They replaced the old pads and rotors with new ones. But the brakes broken within one year.

Waste of time, they don’t have proper tools to complete a oil change. I was asked to go purchase a funnel my self Bc they didn’t have a clean one.Like I said waste of time. tarry town mavis is close to there better service and got the job well done.

Been there before. Called to find out cost of an oil change. $49 I could go to my Dealer and get the same price. Jiffy Lube, or any of the quick Oil Change places were $29.99.The difference is Basic Oil -a Blend or Synthetic. So I was told just get Basic anywhere, then dealer says because my Car is new I should have Synthetic. I think Mavis should have asked the Mileage on the Car and when my last oil change was. The more questions asked, the better I feel about doing the work. I had gotten tires from them before so was ok with this small job. Didnt do it there or anywhere. It turns out, from the last oil change to this one, the mileage was so insignificant, I didnt need it. That came from my Dealership. 👍

I got a flat tire and spoke to Adam. Not only did he call me right back with the tire information that I needed but he also made sure to squeeze me into the hectic schedule. His customer service was excellent and kept me updated with timing and also made sure that I had a positive experience at Mavis. Adam couldnt of been nicer and more accommodating. I have been coming here for almost 5 years. In all my 20 years of driving, this is probably the first truly honest auto repair shop Ive ever come across. My husband can easily do some advanced stuff when given the opportunity. But for lack of time or necessary tools, I always bring my cars here.Most places Ive been to try to scam you and take advantage of women for not knowing the first thing about cars, but I can say with 100% confidence, that Ralph and these guys have never tried to rip me off. In fact, they have been beyond fair with their quality of service (I wont go into details because I dont know if they do this kindness for everyone).You guys are awesome. Keep doing amazing work. Your experience at this location really depends on the team member you deal with. I brought my car in on Saturday for a knocking noise on my right side. The front desk guy was super nice, friendly and attentive. They were able to do a diagnostic and repair the same day, and I was told my right strut and control bar needed to be changed and for good measure replace both struts. So why not!? The mechanic was friendly and seemed diligent. Today, 4 days later, as Im driving, I hear a knocking noise on my left side so I take it to same Mavis location, to let them know and see if there could be something loose or whatever. The guy behind the front desk, different one from Saturday, is like well if there was anything wrong with left side on Saturday, the mechanic woulda told you. I agreed and patiently waited for them to look at the car. He comes back and tells me left axle needs to be replaced! Um, really? Wouldnt mechanic on Saturday have told me that seeing how he replaced the left strut? Wouldnt he have seen that? So I repeat to the guy exactly what he told me - if there was anything wrong on the left side mechanic woulda told me. The guy firmly says it coulda just happened. It happens sometimes. Maybe he didnt see it. He had a short answer for everything completely disregarding my feelings and how upset I was becoming over it. He had no empathy nor a desire to be helpful about it either. His callous approach was a complete turn off considering I was just there and was told one thing and now being told another. Finally I asked if the mechanic who worked on the car would be in tomorrow so I can ask him myself. He abruptly said yes. So I was left to decide for myself that I would come back and talk to him to get an answer. Maybe if I had dealt with another team member my experience today wouldnt have been so bad, because Saturday those guys were kind and helpful. Maybe todays worker needs customer service training.

The guy there falsely stated that rotors and brakes of my car need to be replaced even when they are fine. Ive used their service multiple times in the past, but its difficult for me to trust them anymore now. Just be aware when you go in there since they might get you to get more things repaired than necessary.

Ralph &, Victor will get you the best available discounts & value for your money. Julio(mechanic) will replace your brakes & tires that have your car driving like new. Nothing better than a lifetime warranty on the breaks. These guys are the best!

I don’t know about these guys - first I was happy. I went there 2X. Both times I had the same guy come to me and say - hey you got a second, I want to show you something. The first time I really appreciated it but told him I wasn’t able to do this at the moment. When I went in again for another issue (the battery) and I was told I would need to change my Alternator, I knew something was up. I asked would the car still start, the answer was probably not. I asked the cost - they quoted be around $500. I instructed them to change the battery only and leave everything as is.I may go back there; but I won’t believe a thing these guys recommend again. I’ve been using my car for almost 2 weeks now, with no issues.I gave it 3 stars because I could still be wrong, but the car is working fine. And it was the same sales pitch both times from the same guy.Buyer be aware. Go in there firm. If they raise an issue, say thank you and go do your homework. Don’t get forced on the spot.
