They have been great about giving me updates on my back ordered frame and have been doing everything they can do to make this process smooth. I purchased a Dre drop bag but unfortunately it was the wrong size.The fact that I was double charged was interesting, but did not influence the negative review here as this was fixed after a couple of phone calls.Trying to return this has been the most difficult experience I think Ive ever encountered. Rather than simply sending me a shipping label, I have had to run around to UPS where I was told I would be charged the same price as the item I purchased ($40ish).After speaking with several people (all going back to within 30 day purchase window), Im not being told that we out out of the typical return policy time despite me working with them since being within it.I cant believe these people, and will not be working with them in the future. Its like the only way they will help me is if I purchase something else? So weird.

Best in the biz! I was in a tight spot needing an upgraded oar setup quickly before our next float down Deso and the team at DRE saved the day. Many manufacturers were delayed on fulfilling orders but I luckily found exactly what I needed from DRE. Took my order over the phone, taboot.

This is the coolest shop ever with the coolest company with the coolest designs with the coolest people. Not many places like this where you can just walk into a huge shop with a huge warehouse and see everything and talk about it. Love Down River Equipment. Thanks guys!

I love it when my CLAWS come out because they’re making me think we should sell our old one to get this new one....What a great company and I love their marketing strategies. We have been there a few times to take advantage of some really fun classes but this time it was a competition of “on the river meals and cocktails”. The grand prize was pop-up fire pit. Perfect for on the river,with the case and everything it only weighed 8 pounds.We love all the people that work at this place and I can’t wait to go rafting! What ever you need, I WOULD recommend you checking this place out.

Being the non-boater in the house, I enlisted a friend to help me purchase an oar replacement. we both failed. I took a photo, sent to DRE, and immediately had an answer. The communication is spectacular. Although not needed immediately, within a week we had it. I also had questions about my original order and again within a short time, the answer was given. We will definitely continue to use them.

These guys are definitely 5-star! Im pretty new to boating and spent time in the shop. Got some essential gear and a ton of great knowledge on everything. Their online site is great but if youre able to stop in, its well worth it.

This was my first time shopping with Down River and I wasnt impressed. I ordered some pipe for my frame and was told it was ready for pick up, drove almost 2 hours to pick up my order and they didnt have it ready.

An excellent store with almost everything you need in stock. Best to hit them early in the season for best clothing selection and they can special order what they dont have left. They cover all aspects of inflatables, from rubber duckies to big water sleds... And they carry my favorite brand, Aire. I always get good advice and recommendations, visit and buy local!

Outstanding customer service. Super friendly, helpful and kowledgeable. I left my card at their shop, Cullen lived in my area and offered to drop it off. Doesnt get much better than that!!

Went down there for my first time yesterday.My local white water shop in Fort Collins did not have any IKs on hand and they themselves recommended I go to Denver Downriver.I called and found out they were having 15% off a ducky I was interested in so I made the drive, I talked to Corry on the phone, she was very inform and happily answered 5-10minutes of questions. She has experience in mulriple different inflatbale kayaks and different set ups. It was a great phone experience.I love asking questions, even if I already know the answer I will ask to hear other peoples opinion on the matter and gauge how knowledgeable they actually are. In the shop I talked to Travis and he was very very knowledgable, he had a lot of experience with IKs and had an answer for every question I had, even warning me about the negatives of each product. I purchased a Tomcat Tributary at 15% off and ended up leaving with free t-shirt.Great deal. Great experience. It was worth the drive from Fort Collins.
