This was, hands-down, the best experience I have ever had at a shoe store. They took great care of me and did all their tests to determine exactly the right shoe and insoles for me.These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I have a lot of foot issues and none of them are rearing their ugly heads with my new shoes from Road Runner. Also, I can return them in 90 days if they don’t work out! What other shoe store does that?! I absolutely will be buying all of my athletic shoes at Road Runner from now on!

Another WONDERFUL experience here today! I am loving the new store which is only 2 doors down from the old location. I came in here to exchange a pair of shoes I’d been wearing for the last 5 weeks that just weren’t working out so well. I love the perks of being a VIP because I get 90 days to love my shoes or exchange them.. which I rarely ever do honestly. Amy was the sales associate who helped me and she was awesome. We talked about socks, insoles and my gait and ultimately decided that in this particular shoe I would need to go up a half size. They had a pair in stock and I was on my way within just a short time.The store is also dog friendly which is a huge plus in my book. My pup really enjoyed giving everyone kisses and checking out the new spot. There are so many reasons that I love Road Runner Sports and the friendly staff is definitely high up on that list! Been involved in sports and running all of my life. Never found any shoes store such as Runners World and very knowledgeable and friendly staff especially Hope the best shoe expert here. Bought a pair of Clifton 8 and custom insert. My wife told me that I am walking straight and springy like a young kid again in spite of my recent hernia surgery. Highly recommend my senior peer to check this store out and get your feet digitally scan for proper fit pair of good shoes and insert. It’s pricey but worth every penny. Good job again to Hope.

I made a spur of the moment decision to go buy some new running shoes, popped “running shoes” into my gps and came up with this place. So glad it did! Super knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great inventory. The fact that they 3D map your foot and create an insert to perfectly help support your feet was incredible. This is undeniably my new running shoe store.

Phenomenal customer service! I am from out of town and was visiting a friend in Westminster. I am also a VIP member as I have a Road Runner Sports near where I live. My friends dog ate my shoes while I was visiting and because I was within the 90 days of purchasing, they replaced my torn up shoes and sent me a brand new pair. I cannot recommend this store and company enough. Management and associates were super professional, polite, and respectful. Such a seamless process. I will be keeping my VIP membership and recommending everyone to buy running shoes here.

Was in this store recently and overall experience wasnt bad, but the sales techniques are poorly designed. Instead of earning a customers business through quality service, they push their buying program. The detail that made me give them two stars (instead of four) was that they insisted that I wear their special socks when trying on shoes and then told me that if I didnt buy their socks that any other socks I wore while running would tear up and destroy the shoes. I thought I was hearing things, but then I heard another sales person saying the same thing to another customer (specifically referring to cotton socks v.s. synthetic). I have no tolerance for this level of outright deceit!

I went to the mall to find cross training shoes and went to over 5 stores and couldn’t find a good pair. Then I found Road Runner Sports and was blown away by the difference. I was helped immediately and asked questions about my shoe fit preferences, any injuries, what I’ll use them for and how often. The fitted me for custom insoles and put zero pressure on me to buy them. They showed me a breakdown of the different measurements of my feet (I had no idea I was almost a whole size bigger in one foot), and checked my gait to make sure I wasn’t over or under pronating when walking. The girl helping me, Hope, was incredibly patient and helpful, probably the best service I’ve gotten in a shoe store. I was there for probably almost an hour and she didn’t make me feel rushed at all and gave me very objective advice when I was trying to decide which shoes to get.They have a large enough selection that I felt like I wasn’t missing out on some other shoes but not so much that it was overwhelming. I also noticed that they have a good amount of staff working there and that every customer that came in while was there was getting the same individualized treatment as I was. They also have a great membership program that paid for itself in my first visit with the accompanying discount. I’ve already told my friends and family about this great experience and store, and I’m writing a rare review because they absolutely deserve the recognition. I’m so glad I never need to go back to the mall for workout shoes again! Thank you!

This place is incredible!! I have never had such a pleasant experience in any other shoe store. Veronica helped me through out the whole process of custom insoles. She was so patient during the entire the exam. She also never made me feel pressured to buy a pair of shoes. I love how customer oriented this place is. I love that they explain throughly your foot size, arch height, foot width, and internal/external rotation while you run or walk.I probably bought the most expensive pair of shoes in my life time thus far, however the pain relief I felt while running in them this week was so worth it. My body is used to running 6-7 miles a day but at the end of my run I used to get horrible knee pain but this week I was able to push toward 8-10 miles a day with 6:30 minute paces without feeling super fatigued and without joint pain. These shoes are a life saver. They definitely save you money in the long run if it reduces the chance of injury and chronic pain rather than paying for doctors visits.

If it wasn’t for oats I would of probably left and have a lower score. I waited for over 10 minutes, which was expected. The couple that came way after us was helped before me, I guess I was already on edge because 95% of the guest made me uncomfortable. One made a rude comment. Guess this expected when you are the only Mexican shopping there. Thank you oats for the respect and finding me the perfect shoe! Money well spent for the comfortability!

Im not sure how this location has so many great reviews. My experience was not great. The sales associate that helped me seemed disinterested in her job. When she checked me out it seemed like I was over charged. She told me I was wrong, and got the manager - who also told me I was wrong. Twenty minutes after I left the store, the same manager called me and told me that in fact they had over charged me. I declined to renew my VIP membership after this experience. My last set of insoles were great and lasted a year. The insoles from this purchase make a popping noise when I wear them (which I assume is because the sales associate did a poor job making them). Now I find out from customer service that their 90 day guarantee doesnt apply because I didnt renew my VIP membership - but I can spend more money to restart my VIP membership and then they will be willing to replace them. I want to apologize to the staff here - Im sorry it was a burden that I came into your store. The sales associated certainly made it obvious how frustrated she was that I was there and that she had to bring shoes out for me to try on and make my shoe insoles. Also, I apologize for not wanting to spend more money to rectify the situation with the insoles. I guess I learned my lesson... I will shop online and avoid going into the store.

This was my first time visiting this store. I was looking for a pair of running shoes and I had never tried to purchase shoes specific to running before. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked what I was looking for.After I told them I was informed of their intro process to help me find the perfect shoe and only had to wait a few minutes to get it done! (Which for being a walk in a had not issue waiting 5 min) I was helped by Amy. She was so nice and helpful. It was fast and easy and so cool to have everything figured out for me.I was overwhelmed with options when I looked online and had no idea what kind of shoe I needed or how my stride or feet were affecting my run. I was fitted for custom insoles and given options for shoes. All I had to do was choose the comfiest ones. It was so easy and I’m grateful I didn’t have to spend all that money on potentially the wrong shoe.I have already worn my shoes once while out for a run and what a difference it has made! I had pain in my shins from my old shoes hitting the pavement and I didn’t feel it at all with my new pair. It made my run feel so much smoother.Loved the customer experience and I will for sure continue to ship here and on their website. Signed up for the VIP membership and I’ve already reaped them rewards of it in my first purchase and I love it extends to their online shop.Overall a great experience. A fantastic store and a very friendly team.

Personalized and convenient experience. Jenny made it easy to find the right shoes to help me with my shin splints. One foot has arch while other doesn’t. The staff are great and it has a fine selection for shoes. But my goodness they sell you hard on their vip membership which you cant even cancel without calling a number and jumping through all kinds of hoops. If you come here dont get the membership its not worth it.

I called ahead to see if they had my shoe size available in a certain brand. Which they did and they even set it aside for me, all I had to was go in try the shoe on and pay. Easy- peasy! I even joined the VIP membership thats how much I enjoyed my experience.

Emily was very helpful with an exchange. The VIP program is worth the money if you haven’t ever worn the brand of shoes you are purchasing. Gave me the ability to wear the original pair until I was certain they weren’t working in any environment. Josh was awesome! He took his time, and walked me through their process.Update:I took a walk with my new shoes and custom insoles. I developed hot spots on both soles and ankles within a 1/4 mile. I removed the custom insoles, inserted the factory insoles, and paced for ~15 minutes. Switching the insoles appears to have fixed hot spots.I do not think the custom insoles are worth the money, or pain.

Why wasn’t I served? You be the judge...I just left the Westminster, Colorado store after waiting 30 minutes. I didn’t mind waiting until I witnessed two White customers (who separately arrived after me) being helped unapologetically, ahead of me. I left the store to calm myself. I returned and shared my experience and discontent with the supervisor/lead worker. Her simple “I’m sorry” was inadequate. I told her I would never shop there again.

I love this store I’ve worked with everyone here and they are all amazing and so kind and always go out of their way to help. I buy shoes every few months and this is my go to shoe store. If you buy shoes as often as i do it’s definitely worth it to be a VIP.

1 star because I came looking for running shoes and I left with a pair of shoes1 star for the custom insoles. I was pressured into buying them, but I have appreciated them and if they last as long as the salesperson claimed they would, theyre worth the price1 star for one salesperson (John, if I remember correctly) who took the time to talk with me when my salesperson was off working with another customerOverall, I have to say I definitely had the used car experience. I dont know if the salesperson (Travis? He didnt have a name tag visible) was having a bad day or saw me as an easy target since I admitted I was just getting into running. I felt like he didnt care about any of my feedback or finding me the right shoe. The whole time I felt rushed and kept in the dark. Thankfully he forced me into the membership since the shoe I got immediately caused me knee pain.

As I suffer with plantar fasciitis, I finally found a shoe store that has quality shoes and very helpful employees! When I first went there, I had Hope help me and she was extremely helpful! All I can do is rave about that place, I have had a couple of coworkers go there and purchase shoes as well as my daughter and even my ex-husband! LOL! It’s definitely a great place!

Fantastic service! I was immediately greeted, asked what my needs were, and was listened to. I have weird feet with high arches and long toes which can make it hard to find shoes that work. I purchased Ryka Devotion 3 from a competitor after reading all of the amazing reviews. Well, after the first 4 miles my left foot had such severe pain, I thought I had a stress fracture. No lateral support whatsoever. I’ve never had foot pain before. My daughter and husband both get their running shoes at RRS because of the wonderful service and their shoes always work well for their feet. I’m “just” a walker, but recently upped my walks to about 10 miles/day. My daughter insisted I go get properly fitted. So yesterday I headed over. I’m glad I did!! No high pressure up sales, just honest to goodness good service. After diagnostics and trying on multiple pairs in which all but 1 felt great, I ended up with Brooks Ghost 13. They happened to be on sale! Bonus! I tried them out last night for a quick 3 miles. No pain. Super comfortable! Thank you RRS!!

They have a program where shoes that are BARELY used can be returned with minimal ware, and the program is great. I consistently am able to get top, high-end running shoes for half or 1/3 of the price of buying “brand” new. They also have a full selection of new shoes at competitive prices, lots of accessories, supplies, clothes, nutrition etc.

We went into the store and we were greeted by a sweet lady Veronica immediately. She was super kind and compassionate, and extremely dedicated to helping us find the perfect shoes. Will definitely shop here again.

Finding shoes that fit properly has always been a real struggle for me. Stephanie was really patient and helpful in figuring out what would be most comfortable for my specific case. I’m super optimistic about this new pair so far. And if they don’t work out as well as I think they will, I did sign up for the VIP program to trade them in within 90 days. It almost completely paid for itself on the first purchase. Road Runner Sports seems to be a genuinely good company run by good, kind people.
