We purchased this set a year ago this month and it is already saggy and the fabric has runs in it. When we have tried contacting the store we just get the run around and nobody has helped us. We also contacted the warranty company and they do the same thing. My furniture should not look like this after only a year. I am very disappointed ☹️. And even more disappointed in the poor customer service. This is not how to keep customers.

I bought the sectional for $298. Couch came with no paperwork or directions and I believe I got the wrong legs for the ottoman of the couches. I’ve only had the couches for a week and they sink all the way in to the springs. And the cushions continue to move forward. The fabric of the couches also give me rug burn. Biggest mistake buying from American freight just go somewhere else. I think I got a very used couch. What it’s going to cost me to make the couch comfortable I could have went elsewhere.

This was my first shopping experience at American Freight and I was very pleased. Our freezer died and we needed an immediate replacement and American Freight came to our rescue. Other local retailers were quoting product deliveries several months out as they had no inventory but American Freight had the freezer we wanted in stock and for a lower price than the competition. Thanks American Freight. We’ll be back.

I am updating my review to reflect that after I posted the initial review below, the manager of the Westminster store contacted me & went out of her way to contact the corporate office on my behalf to get my refund processed immediately.. Her help was invaluable & she demonstrated excellent customer service..This review is based on the national company, not a particular store. Ive had an awful experience: I ordered combo microwave wall oven online on 8/15/20. The ovens were delivered end of Sept, but had been damaged during transport, which the driver appeared to know but delivered regardless & didnt inform me or give me right to inspect or sign for delivery. I was told that items would be picked up & credited then Id have to re-buy. I went through the entire process of return, credit & reorder. My reorder was 10/14/20. The delivery was delayed for approximately 1 month without explanation or communication & my oven was completely lost for a couple of weeks. Then oven delivered 11/14 but was wrong unit and also appeared to be a new model oven combined with an older model repaired/refurbished microwave. I had ordered & paid for new unit. I was told by customer service that I had to exchange if similar model was available. The incorrect oven was finally picked up on 12/5/20, still no refund or exchange processed as of today. Ive been talking with the helpful store manager the entire time. He has emailed their main office several times to process the transaction but nothing is happening. Ive called customer service several times but get nowhere. It has been over 4 months of dealing with this & the customer service has been awful.

Had the most awful experience here today. My mother and I had tried to purchase a refrigerator on Friday, unfortunately their system was down and they couldnt take payments. The tag was removed from the fridge and our name and phone number written on it, in order to guarantee that we could pick it up first thing in the morning on Saturday and no one else would be able to purchase it. We returned on Saturday morning, 10:30am to pay for the refrigerator and pick it up, and were told that another customer was going to purchase it and they would not honor their word. It was not our fault that we were unable to pay for it the day prior, their system was not working.The manager and employee were unapologetic and with an awful non-customer friendly attitude, they couldnt have cared less, we almost felt discriminated against for being Hispanic. I hate to throw that word out there, but theres no other way to put it.Corporate needs to definitely check on their employees, and the way they treat their customers, because this is not the way it should be done, maybe some retraining needs to get done. If theyre already selling the fridge with the tags that had our name and phone number on them to someone else; a call wouldve been appreciated so we didnt have to drive 40 minutes in vain because of their ineptitude.

Lori at American freight which used to be Sears outlet was so gracious and kind and helpful for me today. I am a handicapped woman and she made sure that I was very comfortable and I was very secure. She went out of her way to help me with purchasing a new dishwasher. She also helped with finding out if pick up and instal were a part of my purchase. She was excellent and needs a raise! The whole team was fantastic in helping me immediately and joy to work with!

Lori was a pleasure to work with. I was in to see what was available. Lori said a shipment is due in the next few days. Upon my return, to my amazement, the exact model I was looking for (backordered for 5 months at Loews and 2 months at Home Depot) had arrived, at a price that was 38% less than the competition (Unbeleivable but true!). The Sale took all of 30 minutes, purchased 3 year warranty (great plan), delivery next day (no hiccups). Made my daughter and wife very happy, also me! Terrible with me and them. They sent me a very old, used dirty, moldy dishwasher and came after it but No replacement or return of money. I wouldnt do business with the. I am going on 8 months now. Buyer beware that list prices at American Freight are not accurate based upon my research. I was told the scratch and dent products were marked down 40 to 50% from list price by one of the salesman.The LG 21.8-cu ft French Door Refrigerator with Ice Maker (Stainless Steel) was showing a list price of $2500 and a discounted price of $1542. The fridge had dents and scratches on the sides and back. I purchased the unit after being told LG had tested it and was fully functional.When I got home and plugged it in, the unit made a very loud noise and kept our family up all night. I finally got up at 2:30 in the morning and took the dented panel off the back, only to find the fan blade was rubbing on it. This unit was never tested as stated by the salesman. Not only was the fridge not functional, but the fan wouldnt run and was overheating the fridge. This is a fire hazard!To put icing on the cake, I looked up the list cost for a brand new fridge at home depot and lowes. They both had a list price of $1999, not $2500 like American freight had listed on the showroom. They also discounted the price to $1298. I would have been able to purchase a brand new model, with a 5 year warranty for less than i paid for this scratch and dent version without any warranty. Delivery would have taken three days.Think about buying new versus purchasing from this company. I feel like I was lied to multiple by the sales people and their list price was not accurate.David

Delivered quickly.However, they delivered a dented model when we bought an open-box return on their website that was not labeled scratch and dent.They declined to accept our attempt at a return because my wife and I were at work and unable to sign for it. We were provided no proof as to who on our contractors crew signed for this refrigerator and it was not wrapped in a way that protected in during transit.We were also given no proof that anyone signed for it.Dont buy online if you buy from them. Buy from them at the store, take pictures to confirm the condition and compare it with what you receive.Buyer Beware!

Wasnt impressed with their showroom staff at all except for one lady who was tact and quite good at her job. The man who assembles furniture and loaded my truck was a consummate professional. Had to change from 1 to 3 star just because of him. Made my day. Good deals here if you can accept scratches and dents.

My family and I had bought a new house and were scheduled to receive delivery of our new fridge purchased through the Outlet the day of closing (a Friday). To make a long story short, this delivery did not happen and we were told they would reschedule us for the following Tuesday. With a family of 3 young boys and 2 out of town guests, going almost 5 days without a fridge would not be an option. Because Sears contracts with a 3rd party for delivery we were initially told we didnt have many options except to cancel the order. That was until Miguel stepped in and went so far above and beyond to not only save this purchase, but to save our future business. Fortunately, we were able to find a fridge that we liked on the floor, bought that one and cancelled the other order. Miguel then immediately helped load this fridge into my truck. And what really, really impressed me was that he found coverage in the store and jumped in his car and helped personally deliver the fridge as my wife just wouldnt be able to help move almost 300 pounds. He spent care and time and held himself to the utmost of professionalism in ensuring we left happy (I guess in this case, he left us happy). I dont know if that follows any type of protocol or broke some rules, but by gosh are we one happy family with Miguel. Oh, and he wouldnt even accept a tip! That is as great a customer service experience as I have ever had... now if Sears can just figure out how to better control their delivery contacts then it would be even better.

This was awesome. They had the best prices around on floor models. My dishwasher was 40% less than other store prices. I ordered it online then went to pick it up. I didnt even get the phone call out when the guy came out. I had my dishwasher loaded and strapped down in less than 5 minutes after I pulled up.

Had no idea this was even there! The front entrance is kind of intimidating... not sure why. Also, I thought there was clothes and other items usually found in their other stores... nope. But, the employees were awesome! They didn’t hover or pressure me in any way shape or form... that was really nice-especially since I was the only shopper! The have about 8 rows of crazy good deals directly to the left in the corner. This appeared to be mostly small appliance @ crazy good prices! And as I walked through the store prices on the refrigerators, stoves, living room sets, and mattresses wow... great deals -great options -great employees!

My purchase did not work out with American Freight but I wanted to compliment the company and its employees regarding their customer service. Everyone I worked with, including the individual working in the warehouse that was trying to help my son and I load the applismvr, went out of their way to help. It is so easy for a company and its employees to provide proper customer service during a purchase but in my experience, it is when things dont work out that employees can be rude and short with customers. I will definitely consider American Freight with future purchases. Thanks again!

Horrible communication. My fridge completely died during this pandemic. Their web-site said they were open. I tried to call to confirm and got no one. I then called the national number and they said they were definitely open and to simply place my on-line order. I placed the order and then got an auto-e-mail saying I just missed them being open (11:30am on a Tuesday). Next I got a confirmation of the order providing a glimmer of hope. I tried to call to confirm delivery and again no answer. So I decided to physically drive to the store to see what was going on. A sign was posted simply saying they were closed for cleaning, but made no mention of how long, if on-line orders were being filled, or any other info. I thought a fridge was coming to help save all my new groceries, but obviously not. Then when I tried to cancel the order the national reps started off not believing me. They even said, we cant confirm they are closed because no one is picking up the phone. I felt like they were messing with me. They finally claimed to issue a refund even though I have no confirmation of that either. I get this crazy situation will result in abnormal operations, but all you have to do is update your web-site, auto-emails, and the national reps! You made a stressful situation way worse. I use to love Sears and have purchased every appliance from them, but customer service is now dead. Why do the national reps have no additional way of contacting a manager?

We ordered a refrigerator online. We received an email the next day telling us it was no longer available and the order was canceled. We order another refrigerator online, we were called the same day and told it had more damage then listed. We asked for that order to be cancelled. We ordered a third refrigerator online and the order went through and it was delivered. I never received any notification that the first orders were canceled although my credit card had been charged. I called the stores directly and was told the orders were cancelled and that I would receive an email within 24 hours and a refund in 5-7 days. I never received an email. I called the stores again and was told the same thing. I emailed customer service through the website. No response from multiple emails to customer service. 7 days later, I called customer service and was told the first order was cancelled and the refund was being processed, this was to take 5-7 days. The second order still needed to be canceled by the store, but customer service would take care of that and email me. Never heard anything. 14 days after that, I still dont have a refund and am now paying interest on my credit card bill. I called customer service again today and was told the group that processes their refunds was having issues and they didnt know how long it would take. I asked for a supervisor and was told no one was not available today. Being that neither of the cancellations was due to an issue on my end this lack of customer service is un-acceptable, as is the interest Im paying. Buyer beware!

We will have to see how this one goes.....went in this weekend to buy some appliances and the process was fine.......the appliances were delivered yesterday and these guys must have had one heck of time with the stairs as they trashed them.......then they left the door off the refrigerator but left it plugged in when they left........I have filed a claim for the damages and I will update as things progress.....Update: Come to find out, Sears outlet subs to a delivery company, who subs out the delivery again to different people.....in the end the delivery company did settle on an agreed amount to repair the damages after several missed or canceled appointments.

Came in looking to replace my washer that is over 20 years old and Ashley was able to help me choose the correct washer to replace mine. There is a lot that has changed since mine were purchased and she went over all the new ways the washer will wash and sensors they use so I was prepared when I got it home. The washer was such a good deal that I was able to purchase the matching dryer as well. I know I will need I more appliances down the road and I will come back to see her again.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Answered all our questions. Very knowledgeable. The appliances are all scratch and dent, but if you dont mind a little cosmetic damage, the process are great. Got a three year full replacement warranty and still paid less than I would have other places. Even got a discount because I already had a Sears card and used it to pay. Great experience.

Eventually everything turned out fine but the trainee they were trying to teach got great lessons on what not to do and mistakes that should be avoided. I have applied for sears Credit card and promised 5% off the total purchase price, when credit card statement arrived there was no 5% off and when I contacted store they said that 5% off was part of the coupon that you applied. If I have purchased using my existing card instead of opening a new card I might have got 3% off my purchase. You might be able to find some good products but have to careful with transaction and receipt.

Absolutely the worst experience at any retail store I have ever been to! It deserves negative stars! I borrowed a vehicle and drove 50+ miles to the Westminister Colorado location today because I found a dishwasher I wanted. The store associates as well as the manager that was called (Amanda) were not helpful. They refused to honor the price that is advertised online. This is a total bait and switch! I showed them multiple times that I narrowed the search to the Westminister store and available for pick up today! I am appalled that a corporation would pull this stunt with its customers. I requested the corporate phone number and no one had it! WHAT?! Completely ridiculous!

Bought a fridge that i thought was perfect for my kitchen but when it came to being delivered i didnt realize how big it actually was. I called back the store in a panic trying to figure out what to do since my previous fridge was not working. It was the smoothest thing i had to do they explained to me that we can use this fridge and to come in and choose another one to exchange. They made my anxiety go away with just a few simple steps now i have a fridge that does actually fit perfect.

Great assortment of appliances.I was looking at dishwashing machines.I had been to the regular Sears appliance store. There are some really big differences in price. A schools of $230, of you dont mind the dent in the door.A very nice Samsung with all the bells and whistles.Worth the look.
