Well-packed, amazingly fast turn around, came with a nice one-sheet of safety precautions for reinstall. I had it back in my truck before Ebay even marked the item as delivered. Safety Restore called back when they received my Air Bag Module and Seat-belts. Parts needed extra labor for the reconditioning service. Since unexpected they reduce there normal fee. They promised a fast turnaround and they delivered. Everything they stated was true, my parts were in excellent condition when they were mailed back to me. Though price was less than competition, they did an excellent job. Will be using there service again.

Theres one thing this place does and thats repair seat belts. And man do they do it well! One morning I came out to get into and drive off in my 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. But the seat belt would not work. I pulled it out but it wouldnt retract. The night before and since 2007 it worked flawlessly. But not that morning. Ive never experienced this before in any car. So I had to try to figure out if this was a DIY project. I couldnt find a replacement part that would work with my air bag system and that was important to me. So scratch DIY. And scratch local mechanic and certainly dealer. I would not get a salvaged unit either. I needed my car and didnt want to pay through the nose. Fortunately, through my research, I kept coming across Safety Restore. Id read reviews but was skeptical. I even looked for competitors and as far as I could tell there were none. That fed my skepticism even more. I finally broke down and figured I i might as well try. I didnt come across one bad review (which fed my skepticism even more!). So for the price and the claims I bit the bullet. If I lost the belt, or it couldnt be fixed, I knew I could go to the dealer. I was able to remove the belt system much easier than I thought. (I needed 45 and 50 torx bit drivers and had them on hand and had to use my impact driver to budge the bolts.) Once that was done I just found a box in the house suitable to ship it off. Longer story shortened... within a week I had my belt back and in ten minutes it was back in my car! Honestly I was surprised and extremely happy. So Im leaving this review for fellow travelers in a similar predicament. Unsure? Skeptical? Rest assured, this merchant does what it says it does. They are dependable, reliable, fast and inexpensive. If this happens to any of my other vehicles or to my kids cars I wont even need to think twice about where to have our seat belt restored. They do one thing and they do it extremely well!

Safety restore did a great job restoring all five of my seat belts along with rewebbing service. Initially two of my five seat belts would not unlock. I called them pretty frustrated and ready to return the seat belts for another rebuild. Prior to returning I decided to take another shot at placing them in the car and what do you know, they unlocked perfectly. Safety restore is not kidding when they say that these seat belts are tricky and sometimes need to be pulled in and out a couple of times to get them to sit just right. Thank you to the customer service team for putting up with me even though I was frustrated! Five Stars!

Let me set some expectations. You have to pull your part, ship it, get it fixed, and it gets shipped back. The actual fix takes little time, one day. Its the shipping that takes time. That said, its completely worth the time. My truck had no air bags or seat belts working and a year after having Safety Restore fix these parts they are still working perfectly. As you can see no more air bag light. I highly recommend their service.

I sent in my seatbelts to get them rewebbed in a different color. Overall Im really happy with my decision. They look awesome and function exactly the same as they did before.USPS warning: I mailed in my front seatbelts first and a few weeks later I mailed in my back seatbelts. I had a horrible experience with the Springfield MA network distribution center with the first set. My belts spent TWELVE days sitting there(based on research this was not a fluke.. the place has a history of this). No fault of safety restore but definitely something to take into consideration if you use USPS to mail your seatbelts to this company. With the second set I chose to send them by FedEx express which was only a dollar more than the post office charged and they were there the next day. The first set was about two weeks between mailing them out and receiving them back. The second set was five days.

I called a few times to clarify things, and each time the folks on the phone were polite and knowledgeable. I sent in 2 belts and a module. return shipping was not exactly 2 days. Weather issues created a week delay. Do not expect 2 day shipping, but be happy if you get it. They use the lowest cost shipper, so you get whatever you get.overall, very happy, as they were able to fix 90 percent of my issues...if they could only refurbish steering column sensors...

I was thrilled.They belts, however, were Never The Same! They seize/locked up and Im without a belt commuting to work 5x a week and personal driving 96% to 100% of the time.Worst feeling is driving without belts.Edit/Ammendment to Original Review after response from Safety Restore about my Review:I definitely stripped down the driver side top bolt ... that is on me. I have used Safety Restore on three occasions now. Twice to reset locked airbag modules, and once to restore proper function of a seatbelt, all due to accident damage. Each service was perfect, done right the first time, and performed very quickly, with tracking info sent immediately when work was completed. This all saved me hundreds of dollars over purchasing new components from the dealership, and generally the turnaround has been way faster than a dealership special order.Folks, these guys are the real deal, and not some internet gimmick. They do fix/restore these airbag and seatbelt parts using OEM components, to work like new. I will certainly use their services again in the future should the need arise.

The seatbelts were sent out on a Monday and I was able to re-install them before the weekend. One of the belt assemblies that was sent required more than what was originally expected, there was a snafu along the way but to make it all good safety restore fixed the problem, with the excellent customer service you would expect and only get from a small business. I would use them again any day and will be sending them more belts soon. If you restore, refurbish, put salvage back together, or just need your belts fixed this is the place to go.Please support a small businesses.

24 hour turn around on my 39 year old seat belts from an open top Jeep. They were worn out. Now they are as good as new! Excellent quality. So much easier than trying to get an aftermarket set that may or may not fit. I’ll be a return customer for my 2nd Jeep in the future. Great job!

Thank you for your professionalism and value.I dont restore / customize many vehicles needing their seat belts restore all the time, but on my recent f150 project, I needed my airbag control module and seat belts restored. At the same time, I had them install brand new, navy blue belts. Had to text them a few times, but that was due to my lack of skill, and they allows stirred me in the right direction.. I well definitely use them in again and wish them the best! :)

Honestly, this is one of the most satisfying purchases Ive made. All the times I change items on the car that I dont always get to see or feel, but having something that I touch and see every time I drive just feels more satisfying than a hugely expensive purchase. Ive gotten a few compliments and questions asking how I did that. They have a flat rate cost for any of their color change seat belt replacement. when they say 24-hour turn around they arent kidding. They are on top of their email communications informing me of the current progress. The whole process of receiving, replacing, and returning took way less than two days TOPS. They even offered to ship with a different carrier when I requested it. If you want a simple mod to your car this really makes it stand out this is the way to go. Honestly, you wont regret it. Just want to throw this out to anyone who is checking this for any specific things to look out for. Good to have a buddy help you who knows how to work with airbags and how to remove it. they have some guides online i think but they inform you in advance on how to take it out, remember how to do it, dont extend the seatbelt too much. just precautionary things to look out for so no self errors occur and you blame them for it. over all perfect purchase

I called and checked if my Honda Civic 2018 module could be reset as the dealership said it could only be replaced. I was assured that they do it all the time. I sent it in and they asked for additional $15 fee (still seemed super cheap). I put the module back in and now all safety features (brakes, steering etc) show an error on the dash when I start the car including the SRS module. I dont know how to reinitialize and they have been slow in responding to me and have been of no help in dealing with this. I am much worse off than when I started and will have to take it to the dealership to figure this all out.

I have a 1997 Chevrolet C1500 pickup truck. The front passenger seatbelt was not working properly (belt caught on ratchets when pulling out). I called and texted Safety Restore to see if they could fix it. They were extremely polite and offered some tips to avoid sending it in but when those tips did not work I decided to send it in based on their stating they could repair it. I paid about $20 to get it to them and also paid the $83 fee ($63 to fix, $20 to return ship). When the belt arrived at Safety I was contacted and told that they could not fix my belt and would be returning it to me. They did credit the $63 fee back but I was out $40 in shipping. I am sure they can fix many seatbelts but if they cant completely fix any seatbelt they should clearly state, when you talk with them, that repair may not be possible. I was clear with my description of what was wrong with my belt.

I had my seat belt, single stage, repaired after an accident and it locked up. Safety Restore was easy to work with and they fixed the belt quickly and I had it back in operation with no problems. Im going to have my passenger side done too since I just realized that was also locked up.

They make promises they cant keep, after calling them to make sure they can fix my airbag module I decided to send it however a few days after they received it (they say same day fix online) they asked for more money which I agreed to, then they sent me back the airbag and when I installed it it was in the same exact condition same error codes. I spoke to customer services and they dont honor the their claim of refund. I spent 100$ and wasted 8 days for absolutely nothing.

First I sent my locked up seatbelt to Safety Restore and they unlocked it and shipped it back. 24hr turn around, only 70 dollars. Replacement at Honda was 400 dollars and anywhere else online was 200. Saved me a ton!Second, I sent them my air bag module to reset, same thing, turn around time was 24hrs and it was only 80 bucks. Originally took the car to Honda to reset airbag light as airbag never deployed....they said not possible, they would need to replace it first, for 1600 dollars!Car passed inspection and is in perfect working order.
