I went for a emission test and this person his name is Phuc Nguyen the owner told me that he needs to charge me $74.49 just to see what is wrong with my car because of the check engine light on. He charged me for just making the light go off and then it appears again. He make me go 3 times to his shop give me 3 different diagnosis, told me that one diagnose was wrong, and did nothing to my car. No emission no fix on any of the issues NOTHING! I do not recommend going to this place he just steal my money and will do the same to you. Be aware!!In response to your reply. $74.49 just to turn the check engine light off, and knowing that it will come back on again, it’s really pricey, you denied service on my car, you never talk to me about any warranty because you never do anything to my car, and you didn’t plan to do nothing to it from the beginning, you told me to just change the gas cap and you will do the emissions I did and you didn’t do the emissions anyway instead you were looking to find more issues on the car. And finally after making me go 3 times and without any more ways to keep this going on you made up the excuse that somebody touched it and fix it!. It’s better to tell the truth and said that you don’t know what is wrong with the car or you just don’t want to do the emissions on it. Simple as that!

He is an honest, efficient, friendly and just overall awesome mechanic. Got me in and out and did it for far less than the other dozen or so shops I called.

I highly recommend Unitech Automotive. The AC in my Subaru Forester (2016) wasnt cooling when I was traveling in Las Vegas. I took it to Meineke for an AC recharge. They said it was leaking and wanted to charge me $110 just to diagnose the leak. Repair will be extra ranging from $80 to $800, plus AC recharge is about $100. My mom recommended I go to Unitech because she has been going here for years for her 1998 Lexus 300ES. I called Unitech and was able to take my car in the same day. Dropped it off and by the time I got home, I got a text from them with a video showing the AC leak and the cost to repair plus recharge the refrigerant. The total cost was A LOT LESS than what I would have to pay at Meineke. Within an hour, I was able to come back to pick it up. When I got there, I noticed that my SUV was still in the shop with the hood opened. The owner took me to my vehicle and showed me that the oil filter was leaking. Ask if I wanted him to replace the oil filter with no labor charge. Heck yes! He cleaned up the leak and changed out the filter. You cant beat that kind of service. Hes honest and professional and gave me a great deal. Im extremely happy with the service I received and highly recommend them. Thank you so much!

Its been a long time since Ive had an honest mechanic he fixed the issue on my vehicle and did not try to sell me things I did not need like other mechanics. Phuc is very honest! After moving to West valley I wanted to find a closer mechanic to help me with a couple repairs! I found unitech automotive since having my car repaired at his shop Ive been completely satisfied! He does all my oil changes along with any repairs that I might need! hes very honest and I dont feel like he takes advantage of me for being a single woman coming into a repair shop not knowing anything about cars! He taught me how to check my own oil, water and advise me to keep up on my oil changes! My car has been previously wrecked from a previous owner so therers been a lot work thats needed to be done. I would never trust anyone else with my car repairs!

I took my 21 year old (non running) car to Unitech Automotive on Thursday 6/16/2016 around noon with one major problem and several other problems. By noon Saturday 6/18/2016 Phuc Nguyen (Lead mechanic and owner) had performed 5 different jobs, my car was ready and running like it hasnt run in a long time and the price was very reasonable. I am very happy with the service, quality of work performed, quickness and willingness to solve the problems. I would definitely trust any of my cars to Unitech automotive and definitely recommend the shop to anyone.

I had Unitech install a new motor on my wifes Van. When the first motor I ordered arrived he called me and showed me the defects from the company that sent it. So i ordered a new one. He was very easy to work with and made sure that the right parts went into the van, and did not just try to get it out of his shop.Ihave taken multiple vehicles to this shop and always get a good price and even better service. I highly reccomend this shop.

Was looking online for a local mechanic shop in the valley, came across this shop online, so I decided to check it out.. it was a bit tricky to find but I got there.. the Asian mechanic was quick to respond to my issues, he got it done and I was gone quick time!! I will definitely be back for any other problems.

My 2008 Highlander got a problem with an alarm. If we lock it, the alarm (siren) will go off. The previous owner (my boss) had to drive without locking it since 2008. She brought it to Toyota Dealer to check on it but they couldnt find what was wrong with it. I recently bought it from her with a little scare about the problem. I asked a friend who is a car dealer to help me fix it. He suggested me to Phuc, the owner of Unitech Automotive. I brought it in Sat morning. Phuc tried a couple of different tests n then identified the problem is at the hood. He then did some tricks to bypass the issue to solve the problem while waiting to order the part from the dealer. I am a happy camper already. Im so excited to take my family for a drive on Easter Sunday! And I havent had to pay yet:) Thank you! (The shop is near Family Dollar store, a building behind a West Valley Billiard, next to a small car dealer. If you get there, you would find a trustworthy service). Highly recommended.

2nd to none!About 2 years ago, my mother purchased a car to repair and sell, but it took a year for the body work to be completed. Finally, in January of 2016, when the repair work was done, we took our vehicle to Keiths Automotive in Salt Lake City because the vehicle was not working properly. After 2 weeks the only thing we were able to find out was that there was a computer problem, and that the computer was not communicating with one or multiple parts which was preventing it from properly initializing.We decided to give them more time because we had multiple cars we could use in the interim, but we did ask him to continue to troubleshoot and resolve the issue as soon as possible. Her car sat there for over 1 year!I know I know, I should have just gotten it out there sooner, but with 2 job changes, and other life events, the car had been on the back burner. Up until that point Keiths Automotive had been our go-to place. They are great aside from this one vehicle BTW, but on this one, we were most definitely let down.Now to Unitech. 4 months ago I had some work done by Unitech, and he had always been speedy, economic, and friendly, so I took the car to Unitech. In 2 days he had figured out the computer problem and repaired the vehicle. 2 days!!!!!!! For as long as I live, I am only going to bring my cars to Unicech. I am actually writing this review outside the shop now. I brought in my Pathfinder because my turn signal light needed to be replaced. 2 minutes and he had it done! Best place ever!
