I have often felt or known out right that I have been lied to with my car repairs at other places, price gouged, or other places haven’t been honest about price and time it takes to fix. Can I leave a six star review?Albert has saved me on so many occasions and as a result has saved me so much money on my vehicles over the last two years. When my car wouldnt start, we put in a new starter, and it still didnt work, he worked with his parts guy to get the cost of my starter refunded so I wasnt out $350. So I was able to go and scrap the car and wasnt out the money. (It was old and well past its time anyway)Second time, on a time crunch to get out to Vegas, runs and alignment and checks my tires, warns me that my tire is torn up really bad, and that I probably shouldnt drive to Vegas on it. We work out a solution, get a used tire and throw it on there, alignment looks perfect, and I get out of there in record time. Saved my trip, and probably my life, knowing what would have happened if I drove on that tire and it exploded on me.Third time, catalytic converter is busted and it wont pass emissions. Lets me know some insider info on the problem these dont go bad on their own. Fixed the entire problem, in order to prevent me from having to come in multiple times for the same issue.On top of all this, Albert has personally given me a ride to work to save me some money when I didnt have the cash to get a Lyft, hes personally driven me home after he knew he needed to keep the car overnight, and he always tries to give me any kinds of discounts he can on labor to help me out even a little bit more.Ive been through three cars with Albert and he has gone above and beyond every single time. I will be taking my stuff to him every single time I have a problem for the rest of my time I am in Utah. If you need a car guy, Albert is your man. Really an advocate for his people, and knows how to treat you right.

I was looking at buying a used car just up the street from Affordable Car Care and felt like I should have it checked out before pulling the trigger. I Googled auto care in the area and saw the stellar reviews. Skeptical, I called and Albert said hed make time for me right then and quoted me half the price a dealer charges. I took it in and he found $500+ worth of work it needed, but said that after that it should be a solid vehicle. He also fixed a crucial parts failure and didnt charge me labor, which was a relief since it wasnt my car and what would I tell the seller! At that point it was obvious he wasnt just trying to make a buck. He really took care of us. He took us back in the shop and showed me all of the issues so I would understand well, and was so pleasant with my toddler. I was able to negotiate a fair price with the seller as a result and felt comfortable buying the car. Fast forward a week and Im taking it in tomorrow to have the work done by my new favorite mechanic. Thank you, Albert!

I can count on Albert to give an honest opinion and an honest price, hes turned town work that he didnt think needed to be done, and likewise tells me when he thinks that taking care of something preventative is in my interest or cheaper while already fixing something in the same area.

Albert and Affordable Car Care came highly recommended by my brother when I mentioned that my car was running a bit off. I havent personally had any interaction with Alberts staff, but they seem respectful and Albert speaks highly of them. When Albert calls to tell you what hes found he is very to the point and explains what is wrong and why youd want to fix it, without being pushy on selling you something. But youre the boss is something I heard a few times when he was telling me the issues he found, as well as asking me to try out the fixes before it was even taken out of the garage. Hes also someone who will work until the job is done and done correctly.When he goes to fix something, he recommends to you what will fix the issue/find the root of the issue, but he also lets you know the cheaper temporary fix. I saw this when he was looking at my AC. He told me that the Freon was low, which means that its leaking out of somewhere and that hed need to flush the Freon out to make sure all of the air bubbles present in the system were pushed out. Were then doing a dye process to see where the actual leak is so he can fix the leak instead of just filling up the Freon.

I went for my car like going all over the place when driving thought maybe a wheelbearing or ball joint bad. No he looked at my tires which he said werent safe anymore. He helped me choose tires I needed and got an alignment at a GREAT price on both along with good craftsmanship, he buffed off the rims because very rusted and said wouldnt seal good.I Good trustworthy mechanics are hard to find. He wont waste your time, or your money. In fact, sometimes he donates his time just to make sure youre happy and your car gets fixed the same day.I cant think of any other shop that would stay AFTER HOURS (sometimes 1, 2 or more hours) just to make sure your repair is done the day it was promised, or even the day that YOU need it done. We all know the answer youd get anywhere else if the repair would go past business hours.He even answered his phone the other day when I called with a question about my girlfriends car (after another shop messed her car up) at 8:30pm (he closes at 6pm) AND answered the question just as friendly as he would have if he were at the shop during working hours.On top of that, he gives all his new customers free roadside assistance for a year. No gimmicks.I cant think of anywhere else Id rather take my vehicle for repairs. Hes not always the least expensive option, but theres a reason for that. He doesnt cut corners. I had a very pleasant experience here. Albert was very kind to me and my situation. My Nissan Altima just had a missing oil cap! Even though I had checked it recently it must of came off before I brought it in! This was most certainly a silly thing to have him work on but it was an easy fix obviously. Keeping this all in mind Albert was kind enough to not even charge me for his time. (Most mechanic shops would). He even included a 1 year free towing at an $100 value. Man I dont know where to start, I bought a trunk from somebody on KSL and got completely ripped off! Took it to mechanic in downtown and got ripped off again! Decided to take it to a different mechanic and that was Albert at affordable car care he work with me to get the best price for the best parts for my truck. Walked and talked me through everything he was doing and made sure that it financially fit for my needs. Albert took care of me. What other auto shop has 30+ reviews and has anything close to 5 stars? He actually cares about his customers and does quality work to keep them coming back for more. He changed our timing belt, fixed our a/c, did an alignment, and changed our transmission fluid. And it was a fraction of the price at other places. He really went out of his way to help us and get it done before our big road trip. There were times things didnt go according to the schedule and he even offered to get us a rental car on him since it took longer! It was a pain driving there and back 30 min and I wish he were closer, but it was worth it to take my car to someone trustworthy. Also he has a nationwide warranty so if something had happened on our trip we could have fixed it in Kansas too. We will absolutely bring our car back to Albert when if we need more repairs! Although he does such good work, I dont think well need to for quite some time!

Albert is Fantastic! What he did for me was amazing! He certainly isnt the closest Mechanic to where I live, but I still take my Vehicles to him. His Prices are Fantastic and Im pretty sure he does most of the Diagnosis himself because he is so particular about making sure it is right. You have to make a point of stopping by and meeting him! Albert is the only place we take our cars. Hes always honest--hes even argued with me for several minutes when I told him I thought I needed certain (expensive) repairs. I let him do his thing, and the car is fixed! He was (and is) always right. Im grateful he didnt take advantage of my lack of knowledge or expertise, but simply took great care of us. Hes awesome. I came in after moving to town, thinking that I needed four new tires, because thats what another mechanic had told me in my home town. Albert quoted me over the phone a deal of a price and when I got there, he looked at my tires and said that I didnt actually need new tires at all. Mine were fine! What other mechanic would do that? He checked the air pressure and sent me on my way. You can believe that Ill be coming back to him from now on.
