I just moved to the area, so first time buyer...I evidently was looking lost pretty much the whole time I was in store and an employee, Im sorry I didnt get your name, offered to guide me to what I needed so I could get out quicker. It certainly wasnt his job, he worked in seafood but it was nice having someone be nice to me for a change. Usually everyone looks like they dont want to be there and they cant stand the fact that they have to care of you. Calling all cashiers-if you dont enjoy talking with people then quit. Most of us hate grocery shopping any way, so we dont need your attitude cuz we interrupted your gab fest with the bagger. Even its your job to scan my items. Please dont act like I should be grateful that you were there. Quit, Ill gladly take your job. Ask any of my customers at my job (cashier at a gas station) they come cuz Im there. They look for my vehicle. Dont be surprised if you do come if there are 5 or 6 in there just chatting away with me. All my customers are happier when they leave then when they came. Most say its the most interesting and fun part if their day. So if you cant stand being nice-quit. Otherwise store is awesome. Thank you seafood guy.

Well stocked and beautifully run supermarket. This is the place to go to find just about anything for the kitchen and more.

Never been to a Publix where the staff were rude. The store is dirty and no one spoke English. Very disturbing.

Clean. Affordable price. Well organized. Nice cashier.

Everything but the deli is a 5 star business - If you order online, expect to even wait for the sub or just wait in line and point to the order in the back that you ordered online because for some reason this Publix is the worst about online ordering. I mentioned it to the Manager and Deli Manager - Hopefully I will be able to change this 1 into a 4; if not, just go to the Publix on Belvedere since they understand how to process an online order.

Definitely one of the lesser Publix’s I’ve ever been in. Was very small and almost mimicked a Walmart. Although, the service I received at the deli was excellent. Many thanks to them

The deli manager searched diligently for the advertised goat brie I wanted in vain. The brie was not available anywhere in the region. False advertisement and overwhelming disappointment!

I absolutely love this Publix. I stop by every time I come down that way to grab sushi . They truly have the most phenomenal selection of sushi at this location. The store is always clean and the staff is always super friendly.

This Publix is one of the oldest in Florida and is quite honestly a lovely Publix with really friendly staff.

I love going to publix, tonight was just to pick up odds and ends.i forgot to get noodles and I picked up drinks and dessert.I just stopped in while I was waiting for my take out dinner from Grand China on the cornor. Southdale is the perfect shopping center to run errands. Publix makes shopping easy.

This has been one of my more intersring reviews on Publix in comparison to others. Upon walking inside the doors of Publix what seemed like a smiling group of Publix associates were all just walking out of the store, including managers. I glanced behind me towards the parking lot and saw all of the associated, managers included, proceed to go and collect every shopping cart that was in the parking lot. I think its great management to let your employees know that there isnt a job they would ask them to do if they themselves wouldnt do it. I took a few pictures of some department areas and wrote exstensive notes while shopping. Oh btw within 60 seconds of being inside the store we were greeted by a manager who asked if he could help us, we declined, and off I went to take pics and notes. Everything was great particularly the deli which looked very clean. The bathrooms unfortunately were not clean which is why this store didnt earn 5 star review. This is where things get interesting, a manager named Charles politely approached me, asked if he could help and then told me not to take any more photos of the store. I was slightly embarrassed as others could hear but that was it and the pics stopped. Then we started noticing Charles behind us, arms crossed, with a large frown on his face. After following us a few aisles I walked up to ask him why was he doing so. He responded by saying he was making sure I was no longer taking pics of the store. I explained to him that since he had already asked me not to that I had stopped. I then take my phone and notes out to let him know that Im a very regular user of Google maps review and that I had earned a relatively high ranking within the local community. I then show him the notes I had taken so far which were filled with comoliments about the store. He seemed to cool down after understanding my motive for the pics but again asked that I stop taking any ubtil I get approval from corporate. I agreed shook his hand, paid for my items and left promising myself not to let this confrontation have an effect on my overall score. It didnt, this store was very clean and well-maintained, except for the bathrooms werent clean. (I will post an update if Iearn more about this photo rule)

Meat on Display was poor n not fresh looking.Meat variety is lacking.

I was taking my groceries out to my car and the nicest, most polite young lad asked if he could help me with my groceries. His name was Alejandro I believe. I can’t remember how to spell it. I am so sorry if I got it wrong. But he was so nice to ask and I want to give him recognition. You can’t find customer service like that anymore. Just wanted to say thank you for being so nice! What a great young man.

The cashiers here are great at keeping lines moving. The express lanes are very visible as you enter store and they are smartly located by items that are usually a quick purchase. Overall great layout so you navigate easily. Bright, clean, and comfortable super store.

Workers are so helpful, place very clean. What was very nice is that I lost my face mask and I asked if they had one I could have the said yes and they got me one for safe shopping.

I love publix when I visit Florida but some of the staff here needs to practice better covid safety. Saw two employees poorly wearing their masks with their noses out

I have to say that, in my opinion, this store might be the greatest of all the others. This store is full of great and amazing food, all with alot of almost everyrhing! There is a lot to shop and looking forward to! While in here, there are many great deals to look forward! While their motto says, Where shopping is a pleasure, its definitely shopping is a pleasure.

First I would like to express the unprofessional manner that the customer service manager Tonia is at this store, I even called the store Rep Danny to express how this lady must be trained on customer service skills, as a business owner myself and a consumer of Publix I know the importance of making a customer experience satisfactory, in the other hand Sheila the assistant manager took care of the situation without thinking twice and knew exactly how to resolve the matter SHEILA exceeded my experience, a professional manager like her is who I would hire in a Heartbeat

Theres a Caffe place right in the entrance, coffee and everything there is so good, but they need to hire some more people, I have to spend at least 15 minutes in line, time is so precious, especially in the morning when youre on your way to work!

I have made this store my only super market some Sams all my life 1/3 of the time now the Bogos are sold out having a hard time find greens to cook waited 2 or 3 months for teriyaki to get restocked I think thay could do a little better.

Only a handful of employees at this location understand the concept of good customer service, the rest need to follow their example. This location also seems to have a problem with keeping up with expired food, as I have bought expired food here on more than one occasion. If you have to shop here, checking the sell-by date is a must.

Ive always shopped at this publix for 15 years. Recently in the past few months Ive been very disappointed. I bought pork chops that smelled horrible. Gave them a second chance and this time my pork chops were green on the bottom. Third times the charm. My mom went to the store for me. She bought a pound of fresh shrimp that made us terribly sick all night. I will no longer buy meat or seafood from this store. Be careful what you buy. Pretty sure their repackaging old meat.

Publix is great but the parking lot is sketchy.

I just wanted to write a quick rave about the Catering Staff at this store. They may have been a little late on delivery of our order (it was a busy Saturday), but they made up for it with quick communication and problem-solving. I was truly impressed. In terms of food: we had 10-15 box lunches delivered. All prepared well - the food was great! Thanks, team!

Good place for grocery

I think this publix hires the slowest check out and deli personnel...and seems to not have a handle on rotesierre chicken number...always seems to be out by 5pm 😒

This store is still having problems keeping items in stock. Many dont seem to be something that covid would cause a shortage of. Otherwise, store clean and staff friendly!

I love customer service at all Publix stores, I like how clean their stores are, and how fresh they keep their products. Still, I have to grade them 3 because of their prices. Disregarding the above mentioned facts, there is no need to hike up the prices as much as they do. They are a dollar above on average in comparison to Walmart for the same product. So how much are we paying for a clean store and better staff? For that price, Whole Foods provides a better shopping experience.

This publix has the worst customer service, always missing supplies when i go in the morning to get lunch there is nothing there, no spoons, no straws, no hot sauce, no mayo And no soups. When you ask for it they tell you the supplies will be coming the next day so it seems Like they dont want to help you.

The supermarket sells high quality products at relatively cheap prices. The store itself was clean and wonderfully decorated. They have the best customer service and they also have an amazing parking ground.

My father owns a house by the water and have visited this Publix for over 10 years. The end of last year the place got remodeled and no where near as dirty as other reviewers are saying. What does stand out about this place is compared to other Publix supermarkets its smaller. I originally was going to review it as a 4 stars but decided the size should not force a lower score and changed it to a 5. Even updated some picture at the time of the review.The bakery here is clean and bright as well as the vegetable area. The pharmacy is also clean, well lit and staff is very helpful. They have not added (yet) a self check out. One of the reason I go to Publix over other food stores is thier buy one and get the one free. It varies day to today, so what you see today, may not be there tomorrow. In terms of parking, the front of the shopping center is very big and lit well at night.EDIT: 6/1/2016 They repaved the parking lot and (arrows and parking markers).

I stopped shopping there because many customer don’t wear masks and management won’t enforce masks so i do not feel safe. i found a publix 10 miles away where masks are enforced so my family shops there now.

If you are hungry you can order a sandwich from the deli and they will make it for you, in about 2 hours. Hire more people.

I went to pay a bill. Customer Service Department was great. I then went to get a sub sandwich. I got the combo. They overcharged me for it. They are ringing the items separately then only taking $1.00. They adverstise that its $1.00 more for combo. So they are overcharging $1.28

Poor service. Line of people at customer service. 1 rep behind the desk. Assistant manager came up, disregarded the line, took some other guy instead. I told her there was a line of people and we were all waiting. She responded snooty that it was the lottery line. Well the other lady was by herself, so wouldnt matter what line. No sense is sincere or empathy. Her name was Lisa. Then she just handed me off to another attendant. Great customer service Publix. Ill go elsewhere.
