I always shopped here for produce. I fond everything fresh, in abundance and the price is good. For all the Caribbean people who are looking for ground provisions, this is the best place. Customer service is satisfactory. One improvement I would recommend is for them to do overnight stocking to minimize the traffic of bumping into the workers and their carts.

I love all the pretty women from different cultures just working together helping each other out with different tasks and helping customers. I give an A+100% in this store. Sorry Mens!

They are rude. And no customer service at all. Food and quality of products are awesome. The worker on the floor are very helpful. And the housekeeper keep it safe too shop. I always think twice too come because of these reason my cashier today was estephine she was having a entire conversation with the security guard. I ask him to pls allow her too do her job. She start packing my bag by being rough with my things. I ask her if she continues I will not pay. She stop .that not good service at all

Not the actual store deserves this rating, only the hot food restaurant portion of the store. I purposely ordered the exact same food as my coworker and the Latina woman at the register charged me 2 dollars more for my food. Ill never go back. I get it, Im not Hispanic...but should that make a difference?

False advertising! Buyer be ware. I went there on 4/9/2021. Tried to purchase some Iberia small beans, pinto beans and pigeon peas. They were advertised as being .79¢ and .99¢. When they rung them up they came out to $1.69 and $1.19. I told the cashier it was ringing up a different price she said to talk to the manager. I signaled them manager she pointed to. The lady came over and said wait I have to talk to the manager. She went and spoke to someone in the office and back, and said that the price that they were ringing up is the correct price. They refused to lower the price. I told her that I wanted to speak to the manager. They went and got Stella the manager. I told her what was happening and she went and spoke to the same lady in the office Alejandra and told her why didn’t she lower the price because it’s advertised as being a lower price. She told her you know that’s what you should do. Stella came back out and said I’ll ring them up for you at the advertised price. I said no thank you I’ve waisted enough time trying to buy this.The only reason I even reported this is because the people that tend to go and buy their groceries here are getting ripped off left and right. We are in very hard times and some don’t have the means to properly provide for their families. I’d give this place minus 2 stars if I could.

Spent 30 minutes waiting to be served for fish. The men take their sweet time, they rather y’all go each other than acknowledge the customers.The customer exchange numbers so you’re constantly skipped.Lost my appetite.

Love this place! Good selection of veggies, great prices on fish, rice, meat and and lots of specials-look for their weekly ad. If you cook ethnic foods and are looking for inexpensive browning sauce, jerk sauces, coconut milk, spices etc., this is a great market. Least crowded early in the day. Recommended.

I was in Presdente Supermarket on 45th Street on 4/26/21 At 8:00 that evening. The Supervisor (Nancy) was on break Customer Service was close and they would not open up the register for the customers who wanted to purchase Cigarettes, Lotto or any items sold at the Customer Service counter. I watch as the Clerk (Tanisha) would not help the customers. She was also rude. I dont want to shop nowhere the Customers are not treated with respect. Dont call and try to speak with a Manager, it aint happening.

Excellent supplies and prices. Found vanilla supligen here when Publix, Amazon, Walmart and Foodtown had none.

Good choice of goods. Good prices. Distancing is impossible. And the management does nothing to encourage it. Aisles are narrow and packed with goods. I try to go at less affluent times which is difficult. I wish they had a senior early time.

Sale items constantly move around with no indication as to where it was moved to,.

I get my vegetables cheap here, even the meat sometimes. In reality, I find this place to be worse than Walmart. Customer service is deplorable, or maybe they serve you only if youre Spanish. Theyre prices are decent, but...get in and get out. This establishment cares nothing about your problems.

If theres anything Spanish or Island that youre missing come to presidente youll find it.

Meat looks horrible, not much frozen selections, always busy,not enough cashiers, veggies arent the freshest. Great for finding hispanic and West Indian seasonings/veggies. Overall I do not shop here, but visited with my sister.

Best fresh catch of the day. Butchers are friendly and everyone is helpful. I love shopping here for the variety of spices and other cooking things from different cultures here under one roof. Plus of course its affordable.

This is a very busy place all nationalities go there for food needs. The thing is that if the price is not included where youre purchasing the item it could be hard to find someone to give you a price. Because at times the item is moved to a different location and they dont know the prices until you get to the register. And you may have to return the item because they dont go by the price which the item was placed under or over, or the fact that you find item in a particular area. I like the 10th Ave location better, but that location is not convenient. The 45th St location is too crowded with products in the isles plus the last few times I have waited at check out over 30 minutes. Im forced to go to Publix and pay more

Great selection but the number system needs to be reevaluated for fairness.

Seafood area staff have zero customer service skills, stands an talk continuously, zero care in the world. Took me over 45mins just to buy fish i was the only person standing there.

I love Presidente but this location needs to work on the appearance and cleanliness of the store.

Its a good supermarket with great prices and great staff. Its the only store I do my groceries at.

The worst experience that I accounted in a grocery store. There was no Express line with 5 cashiers present. I asked for the acting manager if she can change one of the cashier as an Express line because people with 3 to 4 items were standing in the line for 15 to 20 minutes. Surprisingly she answered that yesterday wait times were longer and I went to Walmart I will not be complaining. This were some disturbing words that affected many customers. I will try to follow up in the next morning with the morning store manager. I am hopping that someone can teach that acting manager about customer service.

This Market is excellent for fresh seafood and fish. Their butcher Department for Meats is good. I wouldnt shop here for off-the-shelf products they are way overpriced.

We just stopped in for produce, which was very fresh, and a good price. From what we saw, the store looked very clean; we were also very happy to see most cashier stations open. All in all, a good experience.

Parking lot is absolutely filthy, trash everywhere. Inside the store is not so different either, less trash but certainly filthy, and the first thing youre greeted with when you enter is a strong smell of fish...ughI have standards as to how a store should be in terms of cleanliness, especially one Im buying my food from, and this grocery store is easily at the bottom of that list!Will NOT shop here again. That parking lot should be an easy red flag for any potential customers.This might be all due to management incompetence, or just a very bad community dirtying the place frequently.

Presidente grocery service is fresh, convenient, and we love knowing that were supporting our local farmers! They have amazing customer service too. Delivery is free in FL & OC, so its definitely worth a try if you live in the area! Our faves: king crab legs, Domenicos pesto & fresh pasta, everything bagels with cream cheese & smoked salmon. So good!

Clean Store and Friendly staff

Cheap place for food, a bit disorganized and not to many employees speak English so its helpful if you know or understand Spanish. Not the best part of town so I wouldnt advise a late night visit, to many pan-handlers in the parking lot. Security is on sight by the entrance, but its more of a rent-a-cop service. Prepared food can go either way, best to know what a dish is supposed to look like, weve had a colleague get sick and be out for a few days from having lunch here.

A nice place to run for groceries.!

Very low brow. Outside garbage cans overflowing onto the sidewalk as you try to enter. Once youre inside youre hit with an overwhelming smell thats hard to describe but its the opposite of clean and pleasant. Youre getting food at a low cost but you sacrifice the pleasant experience of shopping in a Publix, Whole foods, etc. This is a place for when you need more ethnically specific food items.

Large produce section and lots of bulk items (with no membership needed). Lower than average prices on most things. Check their sales ads for the occasional ridiculously low prices on things like milk, eggs, and hot dogs! Sometime lengthy checkout lines, but truly worth the wait.

Whole Foods as a concept is terrific. But this branch doesnt seem to have the range of the other stores I have been in... and of course it is no Rainbow. The staff here are incredibly friendly, however.

The food is great the employees are awesome. My child is doing a fundraising for school and we ask the manager if we could sell a box of chocolates out side he was so fine with it. I love places that they appreciate there customers. He made my child day! They treat there customers like family.
