They are professional guys with good intentions to fix your vehicle. In my instance, it was a same day fix which was nice. However...Ive got an issue that needs to be said. The only reason I came to Midas was because my prior repairs seemed fair and I felt like I could rely on the company for all future repairs. So, I went in to get an oil change + tire rotation, and a radiator change. This amounted to $1,000 dollars. I have a few friends that know their stuff about cars, and two of them are actual mechanics. The only reason I didnt use them is because they live way out west so I wanted to use some place local. I was told by SEVERAL people that I shouldnt have paid more than $600 for this kind of replacement. After further research, they were right. $1,000 for a radiator? Parts + labor alone should have been ~$500-600. Not $1,000. No hard feelings on my end. But youve lost a customer. Good luck with your business Ill be using my friend from now on.

I went for a complete rehaul of my muffler/exhaust system. Jon and the rest of the crew there were very accommodating and upfront about the pricing and service. As such, even though the final price tag was a little on the high side, Im going on the good the good faith they showed me to trust that work that was done on my car was quality. It also pays that if youre a AAA member, you can get a few perks like a free maintenance check and a slight discount on labor.

Well let me start off by saying the mechanic that serviced my vehicle was awesome, BUT the front desk manager was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Due to low air pressure In one of the tires, I decided to get it checked out in case a nail had punctured the tread. Initially, I was told by the mechanic that the service did not require payment, however, the front desk manager came back a few minutes later and said, “They found a drill bit in the tire.” So I asked how much the bill was to which he rudely responded in a condescending tone “Well what makes you ask how much it will cost? I said “oh, because he fixed my tire.” To which the manager responded, “WELL TIMES HAVE CHANGED, IVE NEVER HEARD OF A PLACE THAT OFFERS THEIR SERVICE FOR FREE.” Not only was he rude to me but also to his employees.I asked for change to tip the mechanic but the manager stated “Oh they’re fine they don’t need it.”

Tony was so awesome!! He saved me 900+ dollars that Tires Plus was going to charge me. He solved my problem and was very knowledgeable. Midas will have my business from now on...

The shop was clean. The staff was friendly and professional. I was assisted by Tony and he was extremely helpful. He explained things very well and the prices I was quoted were exactly as expected at time of payment. They take photos of exactly what’s wrong and text them to you so you know you are not being cheated. Their prices are also very competitive and they even have sales from time to time. Their ours are very convenient as well. All in all my service was awesome and I will definitely be returning for future service!!

I wanted to praise the Midas West Palm Beach shop for being so honest, a rarity among automechanics, because of my experience with them which made me a loyal customer. Today was no different, I was driving my wifes car, a Toyota Prius 2018 and all of a sudden the tire warning light starts blinking, it happened just in front of a Pep Boys store, so I went in, they do not take walk ins, so I thought, Im going to my favorite place, the Midas store in Military, WPB. Got there, they always treat you nicely, have free drinks for those who wait, coffee, water, coke and even chocolates, they provide charging cables for your phone, but the main thing is, after about a 45 minute wait as I had no appointments, they came out and told me that they had checked the 4 tires, all were fine, no nails or anyting, the light went on because they were all a little out of air, so they took care of that and also they tightened/reattached a splash guard that was loose. I asked how much? Answer, no charge. The person in charge said air is free and they wouldnt want to charge me just to use a couple of zip ties to secure my splash guard. I call this honesty, some shops I know would have either tried to sell you a tire or charge you 80 bucks for labor. It is commendable in this day an age to have people that are honest and do not try to exploit those of us who are not handy with mechanic work. Kudos to Midas WPB and as always I will be back whenever I need any type of service.

I brought my 2000 gmc to this shop to have them locate a coolant leak under the engine 3 hours later get a quote for 1200 dollars For a new radiator and to have them install. I denied service did the radiator myself and it wasnt even the radiator it was the water pump. Long story short they were gonna charge me 1200$ for something my truck didnt need. Will never go again

Sean provided an excellent level of professionalism - when I first arrived around 10am he said they were backed up and it would be a while before they could inspect my car and he offered to make an appointment a few hours later instead of waiting which I gladly did... when I arrived later for my appointment they inspected my car, provided me detailed feedback and options to repair, with very reasonable pricing, I am totally satisfied with their work, the way my car rides, and would not hesitate to recommend Sean Fitz as professional, honest and reliable.

Went for some help finding an oil leak. Guy at front desk listened as I told him what I had already replaced. About an hour later he said my vapve cover gasket, which I had replaced, was leaking in the corners. Said to put a little more rtv in the corners next time. He was right and it only cost $20 for them to take a look. Great service.

I needed brakes at all 4 corners. Also had a broken lug nut that was still on vehicle, the technician was able to remove the broken lug nut without damage to the aluminum rim and at no extra charge. Reasonable pricing for rotors pads and the installation especially with Midas limited warranty. I will go back for a 4 wheel alignment because of their work ethics and reasonable prices.

I took advantage of a coupon to get a full synthetic oil change and rotation at a price lower than I usually pay for the change alone. They did a full inspection, and texted me a link to everything they checked with photos. My air filters were disgusting so I let them change them for me too (no labor charge). I was in and out in less than an hour, but I did request an appointment online (which they promptly called me to set once requested) The service was fast, friendly, and fair. They also have excellent prices on warrantied AAA batteries. Ill definitely be back for future service.

Midas is ok but I would suggest other auto facilities if you travel or want your warranty covered. I had work done in Massachusetts and shortly after I relocated to Florida. I kept my records of work in the car and when I had an issue and went into a Midas in Florida I learned about stores being franchised and to do warranty work stores in Massachusetts would have to reimburse the Florida stores and its a process to submit paperwork,and I refused to leave until I got resolution. I got the service done after about an hour,but just the fact that each store can run a promotion that will not be honored by the next store is Shady business to me.

Took my car here because my car broke down on the way to work. They couldn’t fix the problem entirely because it was electrical. They did figure out where the short in my car was and recommend me to another shop because they don’t do electrical work. They didn’t charge me a dime which I REALLY appreciate. They could have easily charged me at least $100 for the Diagnostic it’s self but didn’t. They are kind and fair. Thanks Jon and Sean! :)

By far the best oil change experience that I have ever had. No pressure sales, no if I don’t change the steering wheel fluids now that my car will combust in flames while I’m driving down the road. But really, I was told that my car is in great shape (2008) never heard that before leaving an oil change. Was informed of things that will need attention down the line like my break pads will need replacing which in the 20 years of the cars life never did anything to the breaks so makes sense.I have finally found my go to place not only for oil change but probably for anything that my car will need. I was impressed from the first phone call. Ive been getting car service from a newer competitor less than half a mile away. Wish I would have checked out Midas years ago. When I looked at the competitors ratings I realize I should have also checked that first. Well, cant run back time but I can change the future. The prices and services are better at Midas.

Only one problem! Just one! The oil change comes with a free tire rotation...unless your rims are bigger than 16inches. Then you have to pay 20 bucks. Manager said that my 22 inch rims was blowing peoples backs out. Simply too heavy! Thats bull!Midas change this policy! Its nothing more than a money hungry policy. Youre better than that. My next oil change is in 6 months. If you still have the same policy I will never come back!The lady at the front desk was amazing. Love her! Good people person!

When I came through on July 3 2020 at 0745 am theres one mechanic sitting in the garage on his personal phone I yell to him and ask can I get an oil change hes yes just go inside so I park and go inside the manager who is also sitting down on his cellphone I say good morning he ask how can I help you I told him I needed an oil change and before I can say anything about the tire and wipers I needed hes tells me its a 3 hour wait no cars no customers and everyone are on cellphone and I wanted the synthetic oil change also. The manager needs to learn to listen before he speaks

So I recently went to Midas to get my ac fix on June 10,2020 because it wasn’t blowing cold air while it’s in park and sometimes when I’m driving it would go warm . So when I went to get it fix I was told I had two ac lines leaking and a crack radiator. I paid 1345 for my ac to be fix and a couple of days later my car went back to doing the same thing .i have a 2015 Nissan Altima btw. I was told the same day I paid for my service the compressor was good and after I called to let them know something is wrong with the ac again I was told it’s the compressor and I would have to pay $400-$700 to have fix on top of the 1345 I already paid . When I went to another mechanic they told me i was basically robbed because the radiator didn’t have nothing to do with my ac .If your planning to come here make sure you bring someone who knows about cars because they will charge you extra unnecessary services . The have good customer service but the smile in your face and take your money .

Sean gave me a fair price on 2 strut assemblies and got the work done in a timely manner. The shop was clean and the waiting area was nice. They also cleaned carbon out of the throttle body and now its running like a champ again, thanks guys!!!

I went in today to get service on my 2000 RX 300. I had brakes, rotors, two tires, balance, alignment and oil change. I worked with the manager, Adam, who was super nice with an approachable demeanor. He made sure I took care of the immediate issues with no fluff and worked with me on price; for what I believe, was very fair.I was there only a little over two hours and could hear him keeping his team motivated in the garage and he was very attentive to each customer. I just had a complete brake job done and 4 new tires a little over a month ago. I loved the service provided then. Quick and friendly, and gave me a fair price for the work completed. Last night, my son experienced his very first flat tire, and rode on it a bit too long. We took my car in this morning, and Adam was more than fair and took care of the replacement quickly so I could get to work. Very friendly and awesome customer service. Excellent customer service! Good price and great attention to detail. I brought in my 2019 Mustang GT to have Axleback mufflers installed. I usually do all of my own work, but did not have room in my garage st the moment. Adam came out to my vehicle and gave me an install price that was $100 less than the competition! He was genuinely interested in providing excellent customer service as well as ensuring that my vehicle received the best is automotive service. They have won a repeat customer, for sure. That level of customer service is hard to find in South Florida. This Midas has it!

I just had them install a battery, thought it was a little expensive but Im very happy with my experience. Ill pay a little extra for good people.I have to edit this. A couple weeks later, the car wouldnt shift started driving poorly, thinking it was the transmission I took it to the dealership. It turns out the battery cable came loose and cost me more money to get fixed, something so simple how can they not tighten a cable so Im changing 5 star rating.

I hate coming to any car places! As a woman I always feel like they try and get over on us. From beginning to end Adam has been extremely helpful. I called earlier this morning 3 different times ( all 3 times he was SO nice ) with questions on oil change and pricing of tire. Greeted me at my car by my first name. Took my car back right away. Came in due to a soft brake pedal. The service manager had a technician fully take apart my brakes in order to find the problem because my rotors and pads werent that old (they were done elsewhere). They fixed it by lubing up different parts of my calipers and slides. Since there werent any replacement parts I wasnt even charged! Adam, the service manager, has 32 years in the business and it showed. Everything was done transparently. I was showed everything and the pros and cons were explained. I had called around prior comparing prices for a full brake job (which is what they told me I needed at Pep Boys when I bought tires) before going here for a free brake inspection. Their prices were competitive, however the value of honesty in auto repair cannot be overstated. This Midas has earned all of my future business.

I had a wonderful experience. The price was cheaper than any other oil change place and the workers were honest and approachable. They didn’t even go through all the bs like jiffy lube do where they try and sell you four new tires and a new air filter and all that every single time you’re there. I look forward to working with them exclusively in the future.The only caveat is the parking lot is a bit confusing.
