Attempted to have my fiances 2013 Chevrolet Equinox infotainment system worked on. This company was recommended by family members that had used them several years ago. Upon filling out information form I noticed a sign that read Diagnostic fee $100/$300. Asking the secretary if that was true she said,Oh no, its $200/$400 now. Parking lot was full of vehicles to be worked on. This establishment could be very good but, truth in advertising isnt one of their strong points.

Took them a while to get to my car but what can you expect for palm beach county, he didnt charge me the 2nd time when i brought the car back and he didnt charge me the 3rd time when my car didnt start (battary issues from sitting so long) he towed the car to the shop and put a new battary in the car. He didnt have to do that i appreciate the hard work!

Walked in on Wed morning with a Prevost Bus alternator, Mario did his best, but it was to far gone to rebuild, so he resourced a new replacement that cost me a fraction of what Prevost quoted me. I walked out 24 hours later with a shiny new unit that fit perfectly and I had a smile on my face. Haven’t experienced a shop with communication and integrity like this in decades.

Guy is a genius and a problem that he cant fix his place is a little overcrowded but look past it because the guy is definitely good at what he does if you got a problem he will definitely know how to fix it go to this person by all costs

Don’t waste your time, like he wasted mine.My Saturn Vue has a fan switch relay with melted terminals. I’ve had the male component replaced twice. The full assembly needs to be replaced, which involves rewiring. I called ahead to get a price to just replace the assembly, as I already knew what the problem was. The owner decided to argue with me on the phone about how to proceed. I explained that I don’t need a diagnosis, I just need the fan switch relay replaced. He tried to tell me he needed a couple days and $100 an hour for diagnosis. After all of this he told me to bring in the vehicle, so that he could see what part I was talking about. I brought it in and showed him that the assembly is in the front of the engine, very easily accessible. He quoted me $150 and told me to bring it in at 8am. I did so earlier this morning. It’s been an hour and a half. I called to check that he ordered the part. He hadn’t and told me it had only been 30 minutes. He said he had told me it would take a full day. He then told me to come get my car, and that he refused to move forward.What makes this really irritating is that I was referred to him by the local Midas. Point of advice, be careful who you recommend your customers to.

Ive tried they programming a mercedes for me but dont have time to do it

They fixed what ended up to be a very common problem on my Mercedes. Charged me like a criminal. They charge $400 just to diagnose, now that your stuck for the $400, then they stick it to you for the repair.. Charged me more than the Mercedes shop would have charged by $600.. I was wondering how they were so incredibly busy and had my car finished in 1-day... They could at least send you flowers after the ankle grab you get ..!

J&J electric is the best electrical shop in Palm Beach County!! Mario is the man to get the job done. Everyone there is friendly and helpful and the price is perfect. Definitely will be recommending J&J Electric to everyone.

I am pretty handy around a garage and can fix most stuff but for those hard to solve issues I always use J & J, Mario and his staff are top notch. They can find the problem faster and correct it without playing the guessing game where you or your mechanic replaces 5 parts before finding the real problem. I have used J & J for the past 6 years and they were able to handle any issue I brought to them. You may have to wait a few days sometimes because they get alot of cars from other garages that dont know what they are doing, just saying. These guys are the mechanics, mechanic.

I could not be more pleased from the service that I received here.I was told by a reputable mechanic that my car needed a new circuit board$600.I came here for a second opinion,in fact needed a harness wire installed $90Extremely happy I brought my car here.

I would have to say the work they do here is good. Been here a few times over the years. The owner/boss can definitely be rude sometimes. They also are over priced in my opinion. But they will get the job done.

Worst place I ever been, not honest, very pricey, not professional at all. Keep your vehicle for ever and nothing got fixed. I will Not go there again.

I brought my 2008 Passat in with a faulty headlight. I purchased the car with aftermarket headlights and JJ replaced them with same brand HID headlights for a reasonable price. The lights failed again and they replaced the headlight with a better product free of charge. He hung around late so I could get there to pick up car after work. Great experience.

Mario and his team are awesome. It may take a little time to get the solution figured out properly. Good work takes time and most mechanics throw parts at the problem instead of diagnosing properly. As the saying goes you can either have fast, cheap, or good.The repair wasnt fast, but compared to mercedes palm beach it was a third of the cost. And eight months later im still riding my 2006 Sprinter without issues.Thanks Mario!

I have been using Mario and J and J for over 15 years - a look at this parking lot you will see Fords and Dodges like mine to Exotic Imports - his reputation on fixing complex electrical problems and basket cases that the Dealerships cant figure out is known throughout south florida - a couple of years ago we moved from Royal Palm Beach to La Belle 90 miles away - when my local mechanic was hitting a brick wall figuring out a electric current drain on my RV - I told him no problem, I would have AAA tow it over to WPB where there was A Master Electrician - local mechanic asked - do you mean Mario, hes Amazing !

Bad manners

8 hrs to diagnosed a bad a/c compressor, picked up the car had dirty hand prints inside, dirt all over interiors they remove a inside panel they were not even supposed to removed then it was put together VERY SLOPPY plus a side signal light was cracked, when aproached Mario about it he had some young mechanic with a really bad attitude putting panel back together just as sloppy as the first time so he had to come do it himself, on top of it he acts like if was not a big deal, so if you care about your car being returned in the same condition you brought it DONT TAKE IT HERE. The signal light cover cost me $30 since he didnt took responsability about it and sincerely i didnt want them working in my car any longer. I dont care for sloppy mechanics with bad attitude

Mario repaired my Antique Porsche perfectly and on budget when everyone else gave me the run around. I would recomend him anytime. There arent many people Id say that about in South Florida.

Ive been in business for 17 years and in the business for 41Years, Finding electrical issues on a vehicle is the most fustrating part of a repair, having said that there is no other person I trust with all my repairs than J&J auto electric.
