Last month my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fes V6 blew its main head gasket, causing such a serious breakdown and engine damage that warranted either replacing the engine OR declaring a total loss of the vehicle. It having 150k mi but the rest of car in perfect shape, went with replacing the engine with a used one that had only 25k mi. Terrence and his team did an engine swap that returned my SUV back with a whole new lease on life. It feels like a new car!! Also just put it to great test driving up and around the Smoky Mountains for a week.. oh so much fun! Kudos to AMA! Such great service, honest advice, and professional expertise, cannot see me going anywhere else from now on.

These guys are the best. They know how to fix a car and are reliable. You cant trust everyone with your car but I have trusted these guys with all my cars. They are reasonable with their prices and back up their work. I will always bring my car to them and only them. Definatley will recommend anyone I know to these guys.

This was going to be my first time going to AMA Auto Repairs and I’ll never go back. I have my vehicle worked on by there next door neighbor and needed work done on my BMW and was promised service and got a headache and frustration in return; 0% of energy was given to my situation and a total lack of concern for my situation. I waited 2 days for him to move my vehicle to his shop and when I would call for updates ( because they would never call to inform you about progress or follow up with you) I was left towing my car to Braman BMW in West Plam Beach and had the work done by professionals. Please don’t waste you time, money, brain cells, and breath dealing with these people. I hope as many people see this as possible.

Terrence has always been fair with his pricing and has always made sure that I am satisfied with the work they completed. I have been bringing my vehicles to them for over three years now and I will continue to use them as long as I am in the Palm Beach area and they are around. Took my Nissan here plugged up a reader to they said seems to be fuel injectors . Left my car here for a week NO PHONE CALLS, NO TEXT MESSAGES .Made it seem like it was hard to diagnose my fuel injectors researching online realizing I could’ve diagnosed my car FASTER fuel injectors sitting right behind the valve cover they will play you if you don’t know your vehicle never ever ever come here .

If its not broken they dont fix it. After checking out my car Ive been sent away many times at no charge. Cant put a price on honesty. And when they fix something it stays fixed. Dont let me forget what nice people they are

I’ve serviced my car here for over three years. I had a Buick Verano and was serviced well the whole way through getting rid of it. I had then purchased a 2012 Volvo S60 and continued my service with AMA for some time with the vehicle. All of a sudden one day the engine magically gave up on me and Was not sure how it happened. The guys told me that I had to get it replaced and there was no sense in fixing it. Even though I was performing regular oil changes with them and they were the only one servicing my vehicle, it’s kind of hard to believe they didn’t catch this along the way. So instead of taking the vehicle somewhere else to get an honest opinion, I ordered an engine and got it replaced.After the engine got replaced, the moment I picked up the car and drove off... within 10 minutes the coolant hose broke off on the vehicle and all the coolant spilled out and overheated the gaskets which eventually blew off. It costed me $140 just to get my car towed back to their shop.What is even more frustrating is that they didn’t blame their own work for the cause!!!!!!!!!!! How..... I’m just the DRIVER. I can’t possibly mess the car up when it was recently touched by them??? They wanted to charge me an EXTRA $1800 out of pocket to fix what got damaged. I tried disputed the charge through my bank and has been unsuccessful multiple times. I really don’t want to have to come to the establishment and demand my money back. The initial installation costed me already $1700.00I had an engine inspector from the engine company inspect the vehicle in front of them and he pointed out all the mistakes they made in doing the repair. When the inspector asked the mechanics to put the car on the lift they refused........... Kind of shady if you ask me.I took my Volvo to Volvostop (a specialist in Volvo’s) in Pompano Beach and had to spend over $4,000.00 to get my car back on the road on top of what I just spent. It looks like I may have to take this business to small claims court for my money back plus loss of time stress and being away from my business bc of my car being immobile for almost two whole months due to improper service.

We had a really negative experience with this auto repair shop.My grandmother had been using them for all of her car needs since they were close by to where she lived. We live up on the Eastern Seaboard and were going to be driving her car from FL to Maine so we wanted to get a checkup on the car to see if we needed anything fixed. The car had been in about three months prior for a new battery and had the A/C addressed.After we spoke with the owner he agreed that that fluids/tires/brakes should all be checked before taking such a large trip. The owner then scheduled a date and time where he said he would pick up the car, check it out, make any fixes needed and return it. We confirmed on the phone as well as via email.The day came and he forgot to show up. My grandmother is 92 so everything is a production for her and it caused her a fair bit of stress. She called and he told her, in a rather heated tone, that the car was fine and he didnt need to check it. Totally different than what he had said to us on the phone.We called him, he admitted he had forgotten the appointment, agreed the car needed to be checked out and agreed to reschedule for the next day.He didnt come again. So my grandmother called again and he told her again that the car was fine and he didnt need to check it.He also said that his computer crashed so he could not supply any paperwork for the previous repairs he had done for her.Bottom line, to me they seemed extremely dishonest and disappointingly self serving, willing to take advantage of an elderly lady.Oh, and we got the car checked out by another auto repair joint and it turns out it was not fine - we needed new front tires, brake pads and rotors - which are all fairly key for such a long trip. The only good thing about it is our money will be going to the company (who I will also write a review about on Yelp/Google when this is all said and done) who did what they said they would do - show up.
