I had a sensor light that was going off but they noticed the sensor was blocked saving us a diagnostic charge to find the cause and $225. I’d be happy to go back there again and use

The service department here is amazing... sales.. i have some unresolved issues with them, and waiting for them to get back to you is.. tough. Id like to see better service from the sales team and their management, ESPECIALLY when spending thousands of dollars on a vehicle.

I have been to this location 5 times since owning my Hyundai. The parts Dept is always kind and very helpful but the front desk needs/sales people need a lot of work. I’ve had bad interactions with several different people and they all lack client service, client time considerations and professionalism. If it wasn’t for the professionalism at the parts Dept I would never come back here.

This was a very disappointing online auto purchase for me. I like to have access to a broader selection of vehicles by shopping Autotrader and other sites, and previously had good luck with vehicles purchased and interaction with other out-of-state dealerships. Not so with International Auto Hyundai of West Allis, WI where I found a previously owned BMW 328i convertible! This vehicle was represented in much better condition than its actual appearance. I would say this vehicle led an urban life - many dings, dents and scratches all over the exterior. Unfortunately, it appears to me this is a dealership of stereotypical car salesmen and managers that will say whatever it takes to make the sale! Not the preferred business model of the modern online operation! I would have not purchased this car if I had seen it in person. Next, the car was delivered damaged and the dealership and transport company balked at the cost of the repair. Finally, it took nearly four months to get a Wisconsin title, which I could then use to get the Michigan title I needed to register the vehicle. I bought this car in December, but the car was a dusty garage ornament until this past week. I’m writing this review to suggest future online buyers beware of this dealership and shop elsewhere if you want to have a good online auto-buying experience!

I bought a car from this dealership back in March. From the beginning the service was pretty poor, lots of false promises. I had to make the trip from Madison to West Allis 3 times because they told me I would be able to pick up the car that day and then every time they had something supposedly come up out of nowhere. Eventually I finally made it there, cashiers checks in hand and was told only at that point that this dealership does not accept cashiers checks (but will accept a personal check?) Because they had sent me back so many times before, they agreed to bring the car to me in Madison, and when they did they took the paper work back with them and said they would send me copies when they got back.After almost a month I finally reached out because I had not received said paper work as promised, although the bank had and some agreements that had been made about the paperwork was not done correctly. I tried to reach out to the dealership at least a dozen times over the next month to get the issue with the paperwork fixed and each time got a very enthusiastic yes we can help you. However, each time nothing happened and only now that I have actually gone down to the dealership and told them that I NEED help with this because otherwise I would be in trouble with the bank was the issue fixed.Once I got my car home I tried using the wind shield wiper fluid to clear my windshield and found that not one of the three nozzles was working. I reached out to the dealership asking if they would be willing to fix this as they had not mentioned this issue and received no response back so I had to fix it myself which took hours as I am not a professional and was unsure of how to fix it. Looking back at my paperwork I found that they had marked the nozzles as operational, as they are a safety feature on the car. I feel that this is completely unacceptable as it was a blatant lie in order to sell the car, and something that ended up being an easy fix and could have taken just minutes if done by a professional.All of this has left me wondering what else may be wrong with my car, and scared that they may not have performed all of the necessary safety checks. Overall a very negative experience that should have taken maybe a week, but was stretched out into three whole months.

I was charged $145 for a front end diagnostic check. They told me everything that was wrong well at least they were supposed to for $145. I was charged $710 and still had issues later they never told me I need a struts a month later my spring broke thats connected to the struts something they could have told me about during my diagnostic check when I got my car back my car was driving good but they disconnected wires that the alarm company noticed and the car alarm place fixed Hyundai dealership mistake they made. When I called Hyundai dealership they never called me back nor did they fix the problem.

Just really bad experience. I went here to get a oil change and 60k miles maintenance package on the site I set in the appt for $80. When I pulled in, was told I just need the oil change and there was no maintenance package. Okay…was told it would be 30-45 mins, waited for 1.5 hrs and was charged 80 bucks just for the oil change, but nothing else was done. no check of the tires, no alignment, checking if the filters needed to be changed, or even letting me know if there is anything wrong with the car. I was expecting at least the guy to go over any recommendations, but no just handled me the paperwork and walked away leaving me dumbfounded. Sooo not coming back here.

I have been going to this dealership for a few years now. Im usually pleased with my experience; however, this last visit was disappointing. My car smelled of stale cigarette smoke after my service was complete. And, even more concerning to me was the lack of enforcing masking rules. I expect that other customers may not comply, but I also saw a few salespeople walking around without masks. While this has become a political topic, it is still our state law and there are signs posted in the dealership regarding masks.

I have to be honest that this experience didn’t start out so well but I do have to commend the team for working very hard to make it right. It did take three trips to the dealership today however they were willing to work with us to make sure that everything was good in the end. I had left this afternoon very frustrated and they called to see what they could do to make things right. I was impressed with their prompt attention to the matter and their willingness to work with us. They specifically said what can we do to make things right which was really a big gesture. They worked very hard to get the financing through though it took quite a bit longer than they had anticipated.The dealership overall was clean and well lit. There was ample parking which is something that I don’t often find at dealerships.Edy was our sales person. He was friendly and knowledgeable and helpful.

Considering I have a Hyundai, they couldnt figure out why my check engine light kept coming on. after 600 in diagnostic fees, my check engine light is STILL on and their only solution was to bring it back until they have time to figure it out again. All the while, telling me my car is not worth fixing because it has some body damage to it(thats being fixed this week). Really sounded like they just wanted me to buy a new car. No thanks! I will be taking my car elsewhere.

I always bring my car to this dealership, for very good work when serviced is recommended. I feel my vehicle is always returned to me in a timely fashion.The service area is always immaculate as well as the showroom/customer waiting area.(glad they brought the coffee service and snack area back).I usually go through Michael LeClaire or Nick Oceretko. Both of these Service Advisors are usually the first ones you see which represent the dealership and do an excellent job in my opinion, of keeping you informed of your vehicles progress and getting the job done in a timely fashion to get you back on your way.

This dealership has the best-ever service department. It deserves more than five stars. An uninsured driver recently broadsided me, totaling my leased Hyundai Kona (fantastic car). After some initial communication problems, largely on my end, I received white-glove treatment from the dealership. The attention and help that I got were off the charts. In fact, Ill be heading there momentarily to lease the same make and model. I will continue to recommend this dealer.NOTE: I upgraded my score after having the friendliest, easyest, and fairest leasing experience Ive ever had at a car dealership. I love my new Kona!!

I brought my car in for a recall item along with an oil change. Upon arrival I was greeted by Brian Butler (wearing a face mask). He was very polite, welcoming as well as professional. He explained what was going to be done and how long it would take. He later called to let me know it was finished and when I arrived back to pick my car up he again greeted me and walked me over to the cashier to pay my bill. Brian is definitely an asset to the company.

2013 Santa Fe . Had 52,000 mi maintenance check, oil change, tire rotation,coolant flush & transmission flush. Arrived at 7:30 was completedby 9:30. Half hour sooner than estimated. Service was explained, had no issues plus received free car wash. Service person was very help full.definitely would recommend Hyundai West Allis for service.

It might be worth double checking that this dealership sends all required fees and paperwork to the state. And, even if they assure you that they did submit everything, be aware that might not be accurate. And, even if you do determine that its inaccurate and personally figure out how they can solve their mistake, be prepared for a long wait. They apparently failed to submit a $10 fee (collected it from us but never sent it to the state), so our title/lien wasnt processed properly by the DMV. This turned into a giant headache when we tried to switch our loan over to a different servicer, since there was never a lien placed on the vehicle and the title had mistakenly been sent directly to us rather than held by the state. Therefore, no new loan could be generated. Unfortunately, it took *months* for anyone at the dealership to even acknowledge--much less attempt to solve--the problem. They were the only ones who could fix the issue but continued to insist that there was no way this problem could exist. I initially contacted them August 2020. They were so incredulous that they joked multiple times that I should simply stop paying the loan if there is indeed no lien. Anytime I could convince someone to look a little deeper to confirm what I was saying (i.e., look up the non-existent lien), theyd see it for themselves and then say how strange that was and promise to look into it more and call me back. I never got a call back. If you are unlucky enough to get Robert (a manager) on the phone, I recommend you just try calling back later. I know it might be tempting to continue the call given that you *finally* have someone on the line, but from my experience, not only will the call fail to be productive but theres a good chance that it will also include a solid dose of condescension, externalization of blame, and unhelpful sarcasm. By early December 2020, through discussions with the DMV, I learned that the dealership was in fact the only one who could solve the problem (i.e., fix their mistake). I called numerous times throughout December and explained exactly what they needed to do to fix the issue, but it was extremely difficult to get a hold of anyone and my messages were not returned. I suppose December is a very busy month. I was told they were very busy with customers and their titling clerk is shared between several dealerships and also very busy (other times I was actually told they did not have a titling clerk at all). They did eventually submit the correction to the state (hallelujah!!), but it was not resolved until February 2021. Six months later. Cost us money in extra interest payments, a hard credit check from a loan application that ultimately had to be abandoned, and a heck of a lot of time and frustration.

I said I’d write this review and I let it slide... want to give a shout out to Ash (spelling) over in West Allis. I called in a panic because my daughter who bought her car from there and is now living in Saint Louis called me on a panic ad well. Her car was making a very strange and loud noise. She sent me a video and audio and I sent it to Ash... I asked him for a quick response as she was in her car and driving. Although they couldn’t tell me exactly what was wrong, I was given some direction as to what to tell my daughter. Thanks!

Fast, courteous, friendly. My only draw back was I am not sure if the tires were rotated. I asked when making the appointment but didnt mention it when I dropped off. It wasnt on my bill so not sure. I should have asked again on drop off, so my fault. Otherwise, everything was great. Nice clean car on pick up was an added pleasure. Could one pay extra to have the inside cleaned also? I will have to check into this. I will definitely be back.

Went in to potentially purchase two brand new cars for my brother and I. After my mom recommended this place from buying a car here in 2010 we decided to come here. Went and test drove a bunch of cars and loved the sonata sport! Tony was a great guy and awesome salesman. Hyundai has a great deal for Black Friday and I was fully ready to purchase a vehicle. After negotiating on a price Tony brought the price to his GM Robert. Robert came back and talked down to us immediately telling us he can’t sell us the car for any money off. Still a good price so we understand that. However, Robert was rude and disrespectful. We decided to wait and sleep on it and Robert told us “good luck finding a better deal” and crumpled up the paper throwing a tantrum like a child. I decided then that I will never do business with this dealership ever again as long as he manages. Hyundai is a great company but Robert is in the wrong business and is losing them money.

When the check engine light popped up on my 2006 Sonata I took it to my regular mechanic. There were 8 different codes and he suggested I take it to the dealer. Not only did service advisor Michael L. get it looked at fast, but after spending a couple hours investigating - it was determined to be bad gas. They inspected all possible problems and found no issues. They didnt try to start throwing parts at it - costing me money. I appreciate the honest work and will go back for service again. They treated me like I just bought a new car even though they were servicing a car 14 years old.

I have taken my Sonata to this dealer since I got the car (around 2016) and I have had a fantastic experience every time. Never had any issues. Every time the car has gone in for service it has been completed thoroughly and in a reasonable amount of time. The service techs (I’ve only dealt with Andrew and Michael) have always been thorough and upfront. Very pleasant to deal with. Prices were as expected and fair for all work completed. Also their waiting room is pretty decent and they have areas to charge your phone, and free coffee.

Last week I went in to look at a used 2013 Ford Escape I had saw online and had the pleasure of having Malcolm as my sales rep. What a great guy! He was completely low pressure and made the whole process of buying my first car easy! I would recommend going to a different dealership. Tons of better Hyundai dealerships around town.The sales guys sitting up front are nice and polite. However, the managers that sit in the glass offices and come up to talk deals are one of the worst, rudest I have ever seen. The dealership should definately consider firing them or teaching them customer interaction ethics if they want to stay in business.

For service, get your car serviced elsewhere! After moving to the Milwaukee area and having great experience with my Madison dealer service, I gave this place a couple chances. When I arrived at my last appointment for my 45K service, I had reserved an online appointment which estimated ~$160 for the service. When I arrived, they took the car and said the service would actually be $300 (twice!) and when I said that is not what it was online, the guy simple said oh well and took my keys. I was upset but thought at least Id get what I was paying for. Since then, Ive gone to another place to get the oil changed. Recently, they let me know my filters were much to dirty. I asked if that should have been covered in this expensive service I had 5 months ago and they said absolutely. Very disappointed in my entire experience and Ive had much better customer service and actual service at a nearby shop.

Back in December we looked at a Hyundai Kona, but stuck with the Honda HRV from Honda City. We were to get a $50 gift card for doing the test drive. Paperwork submitted and NO gift card. I emailed the sales guy, then the GM and he blamed it on Hyundai. Hmmm! Not very good PR for the dealership. He should have just gotten me a $50 gift card. I definitely am not impressed with how this was handled!

Great Service....Great People.My vehicle had trouble starting. Drove straight to the dealership without an appointment to have it looked at as we were concerned that the vehicle may not start again if we turn off the engine. Even though the service department was very busy that day service advisor, Brian Butler, agreed to look over our vehicle that day when he had a chance. We left the vehicle with the service department and to our surprise Brain called us back within two hours to let us know they looked over our vehicle and we just needed a new battery. My vehicle was due for an oil change soon and Brian was able to work in an oil change on my vehicle around the other scheduled appointments for the day saving me an extra trip in for service. I have been coming to Hyundai West Allis for service on my vehicles for many years and will continue to service my vehicles here.

I have bought five cars from this dealership and it was an excellent experience, but lately their service department has been hit or miss. My last experience was terrific so I called to make a simple appointment to get my blinker light changed and the service person couldn’t have been more rude and dismissive. He said immediately that there were no openings for at least a week but never offered to look. It was a 60 second conversation. I called the 27th & greenfield dealership and was helped respectfully and guess what they found a 30 minute appointment for the next day...Really disappointed and won’t be back!

Just bought a used Chevy truck on Saturday and love it. I was able to fill out a credit app online they got me the all the info to me the same day went and looked the truck over and test drove the next day. Everything was done over email and one call. This is the second car I’ve bought at IA and both times were so easy only spent an hour there signed papers and left with the keys! I was involved in an accident with my vehicle and I took it International Auto Collision Center for the damage. They did an excellent job the car looks like it never happened and they were very timely with getting my car back to me. There was 1 issue after picking my car up with a strange noise coming from the cabin fan. I took it in to have the service dept. look for the problem, they found it within a day of searching and corrected the problem which was a remnant of the accident. i also appreciated the loaner they gave me while they kept the car overnight. My car needed repair at a dealership due to recalled parts. Went to the website for a different Hyundai dealer in Waukesha, since its slightly closer, and smack dab on their page they automatically display Google Reviews. And the first one I saw talked about how nobody wore a mask. Okay then.West Allis Hyundai talked about how they would do whatever required to make the customer feel safe -- they wear masks, would meet outside if needbe, sanitizer everything. And they did. We dropped the keys and car off the night before. When the car was ready, I paid over the phone. At pickup, Brian Butler,s the service person, met me outside with his mask on, with a sanitized pen and left paperwork on my car good. He backed away while I signed with my own pen. I backed away while he got the paperwork.All in all I felt really good with West Allis Hyundai and their willingness to accommodate my requests for as contactless a transaction as possible.

I was recently in for an oil change, within a few weeks my car starting making a noise and just shut off. I had a mechanic come look at vehicle just to be told there was no oil at all in the engine and that whoever did my oil change didn’t put enough oil in my engine. I had my friend call and ask for the service report on how much oil was put into my vehicle. Caleb (the guy who answered the phone) stated that the report didn’t have anything saying how much oil was put into my vehicle. Every service report should state this information. He was very nice and apologized and told me to bring my vehicle in so they could look at it. Upon my arrival the vibe changed, the manager came up to me very rudely saying to contact my lawyer and that they would contact theirs. He also told all the employees that no one was to talk to me, that I had just had to contact my lawyer. I was a faithful customer to Hyundai and to be treated the way I was is inexcusable. I just wanted a solution, not to be told to call a lawyer. Clearly they knew they did something wrong if I was told they were contacting their lawyers and that I should contact mine.

The few problems weve had with our cars have always been handled in a timely professional manner to our satisfaction. Id say buying 6 cars from them speaks for itself! I recently bought a 16 genesis that I saw on cargurus the process went very fast and efficient!! I worked with Mike Rivera from the first test drive.. I wanted to show my wife the car before we went through with the purchase so he gave me the keys told me to go show my wife and by the time I came back with my wife all I had to was sign the papers and I was out the door faster then any other time I purchased a car!! No bullcrap with these guys... Weather you find your car on the internet like me or happen to just walk on their lot u will be impressed with how you are treated and how fast the process is!! I literally cannot say enough good things about my experience with Hyundai today. I purchased my vehicle here and have only had good experiences so far regarding service and support. However, this particular experience far surpassed my expectations. An unfortunate circumstance caused severe damage to my truck and I was actually sick about it until I got a call from Michael LeClaire in service. This man INSTANTLY put me at ease and went above and beyond the call of duty for me!!! Totally personable, compassionate, caring and understanding. HE is what customer service and experience is all about and I can’t say enough good things. Totally took care of me and made sure I was taken care of from start to finish. If I could give Hyundai West Allis a zero I would. We were loyal customers and have purchased three vehicles from this dealership - two when it was Arrow and one since International Auto purchased them. Our experiences with Arrow were all good. Since International Auto purchased the dealership the business has gone completely downhill. They have cut service department hours and our most recent vehicle purchase experience was terrible. On the day we picked up the car, we had to leave and come back to complete the sale because they were so busy. When we were ready to leave, the spare key could not be found. We were told to expect a call first thing Monday morning but no one called. We finally called at the end of the day and it took until Thursday to locate another key. Although we paid cash for this car, we were required to complete a credit application so they could accept the check. Now, a month after the purchase we received a form letter informing us that we would not be extended credit.This, despite a credit score of over 800 on the credit report run by International Auto on the day of the sale. We will never do business with them. Not even recall work. It appears they are intentionally trying to run this business into the ground.

Bought my vehicle almost 6 years ago and can honestly say EVERYONE in the service department has been beyond great! Always helpful to my car needs, efficient, communicate well with me, and most importantly customer service focused. My wife and I recent purchased a vehicle elsewhere - her sister works at GM so family discount was applied - and it was a mistake. Expensive- the price of thevoil change wasnt an ussue. The service advisors as well as the shuttle driver were much more attentive than last time. It seems the whole business was stressed during the remodel. Now that it is over, they have quality people to take care of their customers. Still quality parts are expensive.

Never buy from this place! My dad drove from Madison on Friday evening to see a car he saw online. He liked the car and agreed to a price but because it was late friday they told him to come back the next day to complete the paperwork. When we came the next day the price that he initially signed for had been changed. Our price was clearly scribbled out and a new price was written down. We wanted to speak to the original salesperson but he was nowhere to be found. After some demeaning comments from the manager about my fathers accent and how he possibly didnt understand what he signed for we decided to walk away from the car all together. 20 minutes after leaving we got a call from the original salesperson who proceeded to call us liars. Mind you, this is a dispute over $300 on a $23,000 deal. This place thought they could take advantage of an individual who doesnt speak fluent English. They are the ones who give the used car salesman a bad name. Please save your time and take your business elsewhere.

My wife and I leased two vehicles from Arrow and had a great experience. Arrow does not engage in the high pressure sales nonsense. We were looking at an SUV and a 4 door sedan. We ended up with a 2017 Santa Fe and a 2016 Sonata. We looked at all the other vehicles in each vehicle class and went to about 5 other dealerships to test drive our top picks. Every other dealership we went to was just a high pressure sales pitch, with the salesman not listening to a word we said and just trying to push a vehicle on us. When we got to Arrow it was the complete opposite. Relaxed, no high pressure sales. They asked us what we were interested in, showed us our options, and then let us test drive all we wanted. The lease deals they worked out were incredible. There was no haggling. The offers they presented were MORE than competitive and better than anything else we had seen. They also gave us a more than fair deal for our trade in. The following day I came back to get the plates on my car and the manager Sean or Shawn put the plates on himself. No one seems to be above any task. They really are dedicated to the customer experience. I was beyond pleased with our experience. They treated us very well and took great care of us. I would highly recommend Arrow Hyundai, not to mention no one can touch their warranty or financing options.

I have purchased two new vehicles from Arrow Hyundai and have been a very happy customer for a number of years. They have always been extremely polite and professional, as well as efficient. I have never had a serious problem with either vehicle, and any recall or minor issue (only two) have been fixed promptly and effectively. I also plan on purchasing my next vehicle from them.
