Large selection of landscape rock at good prices. Its Large and has a great variety even small amount of sod at a good price. Helpful staff is always on hand. Can be a little confusing finding orders as the rows can be hard to identify.
Super friendly staff and tons of quality items and plants
Supersoil is super full of super chunks of clay. Ordered the supersoil for $30/yard. We are about 2/3 through the pile and 50% of it is useless because it is chunks of clay covered in dirt. If you are purchasing this for a vegetable garden or lawn, I wouldnt recommend it. See photos of the small amount that went in the garden versus the other 2 photos of the piles of clay chunks. We did call and got a partial refund, but this has required so much extra time and work that we would not have taken this dirt for free.
Such stupid business practices. Expensive. Dumb closing times. Locking the door before it’s time. Closing gates before time. Difficult to deal with. I keep trying them because I keep hoping it was a one off bad experience, but no. They’re just awful. I’m done trying them and I’m spreading the word.
We went here to get a present for my dad for fathers day. Hes retired and I wanted to get him something for his backyard. We walked around and looked at all of the landscaping supplies and fountains and bird baths. We ended up buying a nice bird bath/fountain. My dad loves it! Great experience and helpful staff. Thinking of using them for mulch or bulk deliveries
This place has anything needed for outdoor and landscaping projects. We go here often, and at the time we needed one, they had the only pink dogwood for sale in the area.
A lot of cool things for the yard and if you go there they have a really big bird in the basement of one of the buildings that was pretty cool

We bought a tree 3 weeks ago from World Outdoor Emporium. 3 weeks later, the day of delivery they said they sold our tree to someone else and would bring one out comparable to the one we already purchased. The tree was not comparable so we were told we could go out to the nursery, pick out a new one and then have it delivered for free. My husband drove out there again, picked out the new tree and the girl said she had to charge us for delivery. At that point we got a refund. We have spent THOUSANDS of dollars here and this is how we are treated.
Prices are astronomical in comparison to other places. Went there looking for some outdoor plants and they were 50% more than other nurseries or big box stores. Here’s another example, $227 for a piece of driftwood that you can find yourself just taking a trip to the river. Are serious?! Staff was friendly though, lol. Hence the two stars.

Prices were wrong, pavers I bought were all chipped on the corners. They did give them to me at 50% off which was around the original marked price, after I told them they had none that werent damaged. Ill try the place off Hwy 70 past the Wentzville Parkway exit next time I need landscaping supplies.
Very beautiful stones and rocks. Staff was very friendly as well, But based on the quantity I need for a 2 acre lake I needed to go to the quarry to get mine.

Their trucks say not responsible for broken windsheilds um yeah if anything come off their truck they are. just like any vehicle. very very shady wonder what else their shady about? i wont shop at a such a dishonest place they replied so i will add the other 80% of similar trucks that have same sign on back are wrong as well. they said they take care of it but some people dont know and that to me clearly says why they have the signs on still shady. if a piece of ice comes off my vehicle and damages another my fault sign or no sign. if you take care of it if it happens why spend the time and money putting the signs on?

I was so impressed my first visit to World Emporium. Their employees are all so hard working and friendly. I later encountered a problem with a bad contractor I hired to do patio work at my home. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS WORLD EMPORIUMS FAULT and still they were so empathetic and helpful as I navigated through a difficult situation. I can say WE employee Keith went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this location and I will be a customer from now on! Keep up the good work!!

Very kind and knowledgeable employees. If they didnt know something for sure, they went to find out the answer and then came to find you to tell you the answer. Not many companies do that nowadays they find themselves with amnesia quite often but not this Outdoor Emporium. We are definitely going to be coming back in the next couple of days to get some more mulch and of course seal the deal on a couple of trees that were out of this world.
Was looking for small tree that would grow well in our clay soil in Wentzville. Enjoyed a ride in a golf cart through the available trees with explanations of growth and planting details. Picked out a Rose of Sharon Tree and it was put in my car while I paid the bill. Very efficient operation will definitely be back
Have bought both mulch and rock here. Went here for precast concrete steps for our back porch. They didnt have what we wanted but they took our name/number to call us next day with info. They didnt call and we called back. Got someone again who didnt call us back. Called a 3rd time and talked to the guy who was taking care of it. He promised to get back to us that day. Never heard from them. Needless to say, they lost our business and wont get any more.

We had the best adventure today at Outdoor World Emporium. We went on a wonderful walk checking out several evergreens on our way to the greenhouses. Then we delighted in seeing all the annual flowers; such a wonderful breath of Spring! As we got to the end of the greenhouse we noticed several baby goats. There were so many babies and all so adorable. My husband and I went up to the fence and had such fun taking in their wobbly little legs and little cries just didnt want to leave. Kelly and Dana were in tending to their needs and Kelly was so kind to ask if we would like to hold a baby, such a treat! I didnt find the flowers we were looking for today but did find a container I loved. Dana said she would check on her way back up the hill to the retail area to try to find the container I fell in love with :) But as we got to our car Kelly was waving and said there was not another container. I was so disappointed that I told Kelly that I wish I bought the one I had seen that was planted. I was so shocked when she offered to drive me back down to pick up the container! She absolutely made our day!!! She even placed it in the back of our car and had us take the price tag in to pay. Five stars all the way!

We Got a yard of dirt and it was definitely contaminated with grass seed. It was so bad that I had to use grass killer in my flower beds which in turn killed all my flowers I paid good money for. 😩😩

The selection and customer service was excellent. My daughter and I went there this morning. The sweet lady that helped me was so knowledgeable and helpful. They even drew a rough draft of the flower bed and gave suggestions on where to place plants and what to pick. While my time was preoccupied they helped preoccupy my daughter and played with her. Best selection of outdoor goods. They sell different types of mulch and manure, fountains, statues, gardening goods and there is a nursery. If you go in the main house there is always someone there to answer your questions and maybe even take you around in the golf cart if they have time. Nice place with things you wont see at the big box stores.

They overfilled our truck with gravel, and when we asked to have some removed so that we could actually drive home without gravel flying out at other vehicles, we were given attitude. My husband couldnt even drive in their parking lot without the oversized pile crashing on to other vehicles. Common sense would have stopped filling the truck two scoops earlier. The cashier inside was cold and short with me when I asked for our money back for the gravel we didnt get. She got on the walkie talkies and spoke to the forklift driver saying, she CLAIMS they didnt get the full 8 yards. Is that true? It was very rude and insulting. We will take our business elsewhere in the future.
