Awesome company... cant wait to shop here again. Great customer service and very informed regarding the products. We always enjoy, never a bad experience. We buy soap and lotion sets to bring home for friends (with customized labels). The staff will customize and our friends love the products as much as we do! We would definitely recommend!

I love this store! I’ve experienced bad customer service from different retailers and this store is NOT one of them! The products, accessories and the customer service, from ALL employees, is exceptional. They always greet customers with a welcome and a friendly smile! The attention to details was phenomenal (I’m a bit picky with scents). The questions I had were answered and applied (re: using the soap on my 9month old baby). Baby is happy and I appreciate the recommendations from Hazelwood Soap! Attention and honesty go a long way! This is my “go to” place if in the neighborhood or online. Shopping here just gets better and better!

I have bought a number of their soaps, lotions and potions, and everything single thing I have ever bought has smelled absolutely divine. Their customer service is amazing and they are super quick to respond to any inquiries. Hazelwood Soap Company is my go to, and they legit got me and my family through the incessant hand washing I’m sure we have all been doing for the past year and change. Love their products!

Honestly, the store itself and the products are wonderful. I love the Almond scent. The products are really great quality, but the customer service is far from it. The girl with the longer blonde hair is always rude, every time I go in. I always feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable walking around. Today I decided to support my local business and walk around. I walked in with the hopes that things had changed and I would have a pleasant experience but I was met with disappointment. The ladies were talking when I walked in and it went silent. I kept getting mean looks and overall felt completely unwelcome. One lady spoke to other customer in the store but never said anything to me. This normally wouldn’t bother me but I’ve had several horrible experiences with customer service there and it felt like I was just extremely unwelcome so i decided to just leave. It makes me sad because I love supporting local businesses and I went in with the intention of buying but I won’t buy somewhere that doesn’t appreciate me or my business. I walked down the street to another small business and actually got excited that I was welcomed and to know that this company will actually appreciate me and my business. While I do like Hazelwood Soap Company’s products, their customer service has completely turned me away from purchasing in the future. The only reason I’m giving this a 2 star review is because of the product quality. Customer service I would give a -5.

Time to restock on all of my favorites… calming blend versatile wash and lotion, signature blend linen and room spray, oak moss candle and of course some restoration cream! Love this company and all of their products!

The worst customer service ever. The woman with the long blonde hair was so rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful. This did not only happen to me but happened to both my mother and sister in law when they went the day before me. I didn’t even buy anything because the experience was so awful and awkward. Supposedly this is a known thing (that this shop is unfriendly) because another merchant told me that people have commented about this. Not worth your time.

As a local, Hazelwood Soap is the first place I think to go when I need a gift for my wife. I can walk in and give the staff an idea of what I am looking for and then they get right to work helping me find a combination of gifts that are perfect for her! They are always so quick to help, they are knowledgable about the products and ingedients, and so far I am batting 1000 for postive responses from my wife. Its a win-win. I think if you saw the 11 empty bottles of flatten the curb in my vanity you could tell that I am a huge HSCO fan. From amazing natural scents and products to friendly workers, anyone passing through waynesville should support this family business! I have very dry skin from the sanitizer at my work. Luckily HSCO offers many products to help. One of my favorites is the calming blend lotion!

Great product and super options for people with skin issues - owners are very helpful and I love just about everything they sell. Ive been ordering lotions from this company for about 10 years now ever since I first visited Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Every time I apply Coconut Lemon Grass or Sweet Thang it reminds me of being in North Carolina on the top of the mountains looking down at the magnificent sites of the SMOKY Mountains.Such decedent lotions!Perfect gift for any female!

Natural soaps and genuinely friendly service.

I have extremely sensitive skin, a history of chronic acne all throughout my teen and into my adult and senior years, as well as several episodes of skin cancer on my face during the last ten years. Ive been using Hazelwood soaps, especially Black and coffee/eucalyptus, for the last year, and have not had one single breakout or skin problem. My skin feels smooth and evenly toned. I also love going to their beautiful, clean store in Waynesville. The products are always neatly arranged; they obviously take great pride in their business, the staff is helpful and extremely professional. This soap company is without peer in the entire WNC region. I will not use anything else.

I went to Hazelwood Soap Co. last week for black soap for my daughter. The lady said that they were out and she asked the owner when it would be ready. He said that it would be a little over a week. He must have seen the sad look on my face, because he asked if it was an emergency. I told him I had been sending it to my daughter in Arizona to help with her breakouts from cancer therapy. He went to the back and came out with the biggest piece he could find, put it in a bag and handed it to me. No charge. I love doing business with folks of integrity! Wonderful company!
