Triangle Automotive gained a new customer today. I brought in what was originally an easy fix before another shop screwed it up. The guys at Triangle made quick work of it and I was in and out of there in no time. They were very good about explaining what they did and they pointed out another repair Ill need soon, and Ill certainly be going back there. Im very glad to have found them and Ill be recommending them to anyone I run across who needs work done on their vehicle.

Staying nearby on vacation and my car broke down. I called several local mechanics to see who could look at it the same day and most of them said they could not. I reached triangle automotive and spoke with the owner, Dustin I believe, he said even though he was short a tech he would do his best to take a look at it. Not only did he take a look at it, but was able to diagnose that heater hose had blown and was leaking coolant all over the place. He fixed it the same day and I was able to pick it up right before close that afternoon. Saved my vacation!

Not very happy with the fact that you can not pay by check and have to extra for using card. Big run around to pay cash for this service. Will not be doing any more business with auto services!!

My daughter had an emergency vehichle issue and we had it towed to Triangle. My daughter is in college in the area and I had to come from the Charlotte NC to help take her to work/school. We had the car towed to Triangle and they were able to fit it in within a very reasonable amount of time, they were very knowledgeable, did good work fast and did not try to sell me things I did not need. Thank god i found a shop i can trust in waynesville!Love these people! Called in the middle of the day asking about my vehicle making a crazy noise....was told to bring it in after lunch......the man who runs the show literally dropped everything he was doing to drive my vehicle......not only that, he told me within 20 seconds of driving it....everything that was wrong with it! They definitely know their stuff! I mean right down to the lady that works the desk.....they all know their stuff! Couldnt be happier with my experience! My husband and I stopped in after having our engine over heat about a mile out of town. We were heading to Asheville but didn’t want to chance having more trouble if we didn’t get it looked out. We called and asked if they’d be able to take a look and they got us in right away to trouble shoot. They kept us informed as they figured out the problem and explained what the issue was. We were out of there in less than an hour at a great price. Very grateful that it was a minor issue and a fairly easy fix.

Bought a used 2004 Volvo off of Craigslist last year. After a couple of weeks started hiccuping and stalling out so I took it in the first place I found close by which happened to be Triangle. Dropped it off with the expectation of at least a $100 diagnostic which I had been quoted from another shop to just look at my car. Ecstatic when they called 2 days later with the car repaired from a vacuum hose leak and the charge of only $65. Since then I have had plugs, brakes, and the oil change. Everything has come in at lower prices than I expected and the brakes were at a lower price than I had been quoted. Love my experience so much that Im making my first Google review today. If you have a problem with these guys its probably not their fault.

They put new tires on the back of my truck but when they did they broke two studs and cracked to others!!! Cost $140 to get fixed at Domestic Auto in Clyde best place ever!!!!

Ive had a few of my cars worked on here. They have always fixed everything Ive needed done. They have even stayed over hours to get the job done. Very helpful and very knowledgeable group of guys. To add to the plus side they even do towing. 5 stars plus some more.

I want to share my very positive experience I had with this business. The reception was quick and courteous. They evaluated the problem right away, fixed it and I was on with my day. I have a Honda CRV, so dont be reluctant to bring over an import. (Not that any Hondas are made in Japan anymore.)

Just want to say the triangle automotive is the best place to go in Western North Carolina Ive taking my 2012 equinox to the dealership since I bought it hand recently started having problems with it and they couldnt fix it hooked up with triangle and I havent had any more problems out of my equinox I also have a 1995 GMC pickup and they went completely through it tuner up rebuild the transmission and it just like it was when it was new I love this place and all the mechanics at triangle automotive

I dont usually write reviews about businesss or products but I had to say something about the people and service from Triangle Automotive Repair. My 1999 Dodge 2500 diesel managed to spin off the castle nut on the passenger side tire and the only thing left holding the wheel on was the brake caliper. I was stuck on the side of the road with this big truck and needed a tow. I looked up towing on my phone and called Triangle. They were very friendly and understood my issue. My truck couldnt be towed by a rollback or a normal tow truck by the wheels because it would have damaged the front end even more. The guys showed up and were able to lift my truck by the axle and towed it to my house. I live on a very narrow rocky back road that would give a Billy goat a headache and these guys managed to get my truck in and even backed it right to my garage door. I cant say enough good things about everyone there and the service I got from Triangle Automotive. I will definitely be calling them again if I need a tow or mechanic work. Great job guys!!!!

Very unprofessional, will not be back. Picked my car up to find cup holders had been used and radio was on a different station! My check engine light came on today (8 days later). I called to ask about this, and I was told to bring my car in again. I asked about the radio and cup holders being used. I got no apology, and was spoken to very rudely. That same lack of courtesy was taken with my car.

Highly recommend. Doyle did his best to help us with our Honda odyssey and seems to be as honest as they come. Very reasonable bill and timely work. I would not hesitate to take my car to him again if /when it needs work.

I was lucky enough to find Triangle Automotive when I moved here four years ago. Because I drive older cars I have been there often to have work done. They are the best repair shop I have ever seen in over forty years of driving. I would reccomend them to anyone. Anyone in Waynesville who knows them feels the same way. They are skilled, honest and go above and beyond to help all of their customers. Thats why they are so busy.

Triangle auto repair has serviced all of my vehicles for the past 4 years, anytime Im having car troubles I know that I can take my vehicles to them without worrying about getting ripped off or sold something I dont need. I took my truck to another auto repair shop when the oil pressure light came on and they told me it was gonna cost between $1,800-$2,200 to repair and it still would not be guaranteed, I decided to get a second opinion from Jeremy at Triangle Auto Repair and he replaced a bad sensor for less than $300 and it has been running perfectly since then, I highly recommend Jeremy for all your automobile needs.

My father in law took his car there because he trusted them. They had it for over 8 days and never looked at it. They kept telling him they would and never did. He is 87 and took it there because he thought he could trust them. He asked them if they could tow it to the Ford dealership in Waynesville. Not only did they charge him $60 but they also made him come pay it before they towed it. They were extremely rude to him and I wanted to warn anyone who may be considering using them. I can understand that they are busy but they should have just told him they could not look at it when he took it to them.

Took my vehicle in with a frozen caliper and decided to go ahead and change all rotors, pads and calipers, Mr Smith was very fast at getting my vehicle back to me the next day and at a reasonable price too. Car handles and brakes like new. Great job and greats guys

I have been using this shop for about a year because I could not afford dealership prices. So far I have had to use their tow service twice, have an axle replaced, and they found a water leak in my third brake light for me. I have been very pleased with all of my experiences.

Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced Brought my car there 3 times to resolve oil leak / burning oil paid for it to be fixed three months later my vehicle lost 5 quarts of oil and my engine almost blew up took it back again and was treated like this was my fault by thier NEW receptionist. All i want is my car fixed right. As a courtesy to thier customer they should of not charged me to replace the oil it lost and should have appologized for invonvience but instead they pretty much told me whatever conversation you had with the old receptionist is nul in void Will NEVER give them my business there are to many mechanics in haywood county that will do the job right the first time! Maybe this is why they have a 3 star rating and not a 5.In response to your response: we were never advised to bring back the car to make sure the oil leak was corrected. Anyone with a brain qould know that as older cars do burn oil 5 quarts is a bit excessive. My oil was changed ttwice since may by triangle automotive yet they failed to put a new sticker on after each oil change. when i proved them wrong this morning about how many miles the actual car was driven in three months i started getting yelled at and blamed from the NEW receptionist who clearly is not a mechanic never once did the actual mechanic come and speak to me only the receptionist also i must have traveled to california and back if i put 5k worth of miles on my vehicle in 3 months time. This company has an excuse for everything. the only refund i requested was for the oil change that was done for a third time which if customer service was important to you would have been comped for my trouble. Again instead of arguing or blaming your customer a chat from the actual mechanic that worked on my car would have been nice. when someone brings you a vehicle the problem shoild be fixed at least the second time around your incompetence will show and you will lose business eventually if you continue to allow a receptionist to handle the work and explination of things the mechanic should be doing.

Stressful situation with my wife being stranded with our two kids. Everyone from office staff to mechanic was kind, efficient, and very fairly priced. She was back on the road within an hour.Highly recommend.

My truck broke down last night and when I said I was worried about getting it back before Friday as I am starting a new job, Dustin said no problem. They called early this morning to tell me it was done. They have stayed open late for me and offered me a ride home. I took my Dodge Dakota there to be check do to not cranking they quickly came back saying its out of time. When I asked them to dig a little deeper because I just had that motor put in they sat on it for a month. Came back with the same response. I ended up towing it home I popped the hood and put my motor to top dead center and all my marks lined up. I then went down there and asked about it the owner told me he was right in his diagnostic and will not discuss it anymore. I asked for my money back because clearly he did not know what he was doing and he told me to get the hell out of his shop. I will not recommend this shop to anyone.Update: after some extensive checking. Going through checking voltage and grounds I found that the can shaft sensor I put in from the parts store was faulty. Replaced the part again and it started right up. Guess it wasnt my timing after all. O and by the way I might not be the best mechanic in the world but I am a certified machanic I just did not have the time to work on my own stuff. Triangle Automotive has once again shown there true collors he wanted over 500 dollars to fix my timing and it came down to a 30 dollar part.

Nice people but nice doesnt get the job done. Im quite upset with this business. I had spark plugs changed with coil packs and lets just say I should of allowed my 14 year old son do it. I mean I got my truck back in far far worse condition and have spent 3x times the amount to fix it ourselves so that we could correct their mistakes. Very sadden by it as I would have given them enormous amount of business and even tipped the guy 40 bucks after being charged higher than quoted because they broke something and then charged me to fix it. My heat wouldnt work anymore after dropping it off with them. I will NEVER go back even though the owner Dustin said we could bring it back I was too scared to entertain that circus again.

I have used this garage for the past six years and now this is the only place I trust to turn a wrench on my vehicles. I do not trust the big dealerships anymore after having so many bad experiences. This place is local and a small business that I trust.

They have always treated me great and have always done a wonderful job when I needed work done. My whole family has their vehicles serviced and repaired here and we will never go anywhere else these guys are wonderful.

We have had our cars there on numerous occasions and for various problems and they are absolutely professional in getting the problems fixed as well as at more then reasonable price. I would highly recommend them for all automotive problems.

They towed my car to their shop when the clutch went out and it was stuck in reverse, but told me it would be at least 2 months before they could even take a look at it. When I called in to check on it they didn’t have any information, then called me back 45min later with a rediculous price for a use transmission and offered to scrap it and would give me $150 for the truck/scrap profits. I refused and said let’s find a cheaper transmissionif you can’t just replace the clutch. I called back several times to check but never got a response to my messages. Then I got a letter in the mail with their intent to sell and a $900 storage fee.

Nice people but we had our back breaks done for 250.00 and a day later the back break locked up and I skidded 10 feet down the road. I was about to get on highway with it.. Would have flipped going 65 mph.Could have been seriously hurt. We took it back and they fixed it but wont go back.

Horrible,, they ruined a $140 set of axle bearings because they pressed them in the wrong way, furthermore a hub was bad but they opted not to tell me and just put it back together and told me it was good to go.When I picked them up I went straight to a machine shop and the machine shop confirmed that triangle automotive ruined the bearings and possible was the people that ruined 1 of the hubs itself.I got the bearings covered by warranty thanks to the awesome customer service at NAPA auto parts, I bought a new hub out of my own pocket,, everyone took a loss on this but triangle automotive and when I requested they refund my $20 they charged me for labor they said NOPE!! I could have been a real jerk and requested they pay me the $140 for the bearings they ruined and the $60 for the hub they probably screwed up to,, but instead I honestly say to them hey its all fixed and everyone took a loss on the deal,, can you refund my $20 you charged me for labor since you botched the whole job from the start,, again I am told nope!! and you should have let us fix our mistake and brought them back to us!!! I then say, well you could not do it right the first time so why would I trust you any further and hung up the phone!! BEWARE these people seem like they dont know what they are doing and when they screw up your parts or do the job wrong they dont want to fix the problem!!!

Took my Acura in for front wheel bearing replacement all good until i pick up car and go home also had tires rotated and oil change, it was fine until i got home checked my oil noticed that it was over filled and on top of that drive on the interstate to go to maggie notice my steering wheel vibrating pretty bad when got over 40 mph turned around went back home slower checked my lug nuts and two tires were finger tight would not advise using them.
