I came to the store looking for some wine to bring to my boyfriends parents house for the first meeting. They have extensive wine knowledge and I have pretty much 0. I asked what would be a good bottle (in my not very high price range) and was immediately helped. The staff took the time to educate me on a few bottles he Thought they might like including what the pair it with and how to talk about the wine. We picked out three and was even able to try all three to see if I liked them before purchasing. I spent less than $70 on wine but I felt like the most important person in the room. I will be going out of my way to come downtown and shop here. Customer for life. Thank you!

Incredibly kind owner, surprised by how small and filled with really great choices of numerous spirits. Here for business and he allowed me to try some new flavors he had in. Great work.

Love this store! Friendly staff always eager to help you find that perfect present whether it be a bottle of fine wine or whiskey. Yalem always has a smile on her face and if they don’t have what you’re looking for, Manny will track it down for you, even a 23-year old bottle of Pappy. Sunil is amazing . We were so lucky to stumble upon this shop staying at the nearby watergate hotel. Sunil really knows his stuff with wines and spirits . We had an amazing impromptu wine and spirit tasting and we were amazed at the selection. Honestly, we will be driving to DC from Philly just to come to this store for its tasting experience, it’s truly a hidden gem !!!!!

Mani Gupta, the owner, is lovingly referred to by some as ‘the king of bourbon’. Do not hesitate to ask if he has some rare bottles stashed away. Arguably the best whiskey selection in foggy bottom / west end.

Mani - the man, the myth, the legend. Moving to DC from Kentucky never have I met someone more knowledgeable about my states pride and joy - bourbon! As an added bonus for my wife, he has such a lush selection of Chardonnay that every time I tell her were going to Manis she screams - ChardonYaaay!

Awful experience. Called beforehand to make sure an item was available. Clerk said it was. Checked the hours and came by. At 2:30pm on a Sunday it was closed. Tried to call the store. No answer, extremely unprofessional and will not visit again. Don’t bother calling ahead, clearly they don’t care about their customers.

Wide variety of wines and spirits

Came into the store looking for a specific bottle of wine. The staff was very friendly and helped place a special order for me. They also directly delivered the case to my house. This is my fav wine store in DC!

Beware online shoppers: after entering order and providing cc payment, they emailed me stating that they require I sign a credit card auth form before they will ship the items. They reference square for which if you review the square auth form it states this is used for vendors and clients for who repetitive charges so that they can bill you at any time with thay understanding. It is not meant for 1 time purchases. No vendor has ever asked me for this form. Have you been asked? I am willing to bet no. If you fill out the form they will have your signature on hand as well. Apparently the cc number and the security code isnt enough for them. Maybe their brick and mortar store offers good service but dont try ordering through the online avenue unless you plan to provide the form they want.

The best place for alcohol, even if you are in GW, Foggy Bottom area. They were closed when they were supposed to be open so I called the # on the door. A super friendly woman ran back to open store for me. She was wonderfully nice.

Great selection of wine, beer and spirits! Hard to find a wide variety of all three in single D.C store. Manager and owner are easy to deal with, take recommendations and can order any product you like and have it to you by the next business day.My piece of advice? They give great discounts on case purchases.
