Everything was decent priced. Was nice that they had other selections outside of alcohol to. Not they most organized but still recommend for quick fix.

Well stocked wine and liquor store with an excellent secret deli.

Good prices, great carrot cake....but I bit down on a piece of unidentified, inedible, and solid chuck (see picture). Im lucky I didnt crack my tooth.

This review is based on my order of their Cubano sandwich. This thing is simply delicious. My way of making it even better is by having them add a fried egg ($1 extra) on top of the regular ingredients. GREAT SANDWICH! Makes a great lunch!

I havent tried their food, but Ive found their liquor and wine to have a good selection and fair prices. Staff is ready and willing to assist at any time as well.

We are not drinkers, but recently my wife and I along with another couple and their young son spent 5 days at the Liaison Hotel next to Kogods. We just happened to come upon this GREAT little deli. What great food at a very reasonable price....much better than the prices at the 5 star hotel we stayed in. Our only regret was when we left this morning 6-13-15 at 5am they were at opened for us to get breakfast...

Great food upstairs, great selection of alcohol downstairs. Ask for Lenny, hes extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of liquor and wines.

Good liquor selection, especially whiskey, at reasonable prices. There is a deli upstairs with surprisingly decent sandwiches, particularly the hot ones. Try the cubano or one of the daily specials.

Just got in from Seattle and their Philly cheese steak hit the spot after 14 hours of traveling. Guy at the register was friendly and, given the location, the prices are VERY reasonable. Ill be back this trip. P.S. Fruit smoothie = ice and fruit... DUH

Out of curiosity I decided to check the reviews on this place because I go there often for a pack of cigarettes. The owner IS racist towards african american people. Everything you see on this review page that says something negative about this place is true. I honestly believe they recently hired a race variety of employees to hide how racist they are. Personally I dont pay much attention to racist people. I didnt grow up during slavery times or during civil rights so it doesnt dig deep at all with me. White people arent even that racist to your face. Two old racist Asian people. They are almost identical to the Asian couple on the movie Menace 2 Society. I think they are mad about that movie.Please shut this place down. Get a petition going. Were in the heart of Washington DC. We dont have to deal with them.

Its hard to believe, but this place has the best Bulgogi sub Ive ever encountered. Get past the homeless people outside, overlook the rough exterior and come on in. You wont regret it.

The women at the counter was the absolute, most ride person Ive encountered, while they are getting paid to do services, such as: help customers when they have questions, etc., etc. I had a couple more questions, VERy simple ones, at that, like questions about process behind the can register, cause Im too short to see them! Then, she started arguing, with me about how they have more important things to do, like paperwork; got an attitude with me, told me not to bother her till I was ready to check out, and that she wasnt going to keep answering a bunch of questions, because I was wasting her time...!! UNBELIEABLE. So, I nicely asked if her husband or someone else could check me out, because I didnt want to argue with her. I even apologised to her, as if Id done something terrible.. Cause thats how she made me feel :( Ridiculous. Oh! And then she told me Im the worse customer shes ever dealt with... Really? Then, her husband just walked away snickering... I was nothing But polite. Until she said that, so I said And You, maam, are the rudest person Ive had to encounter. And of course I had to add, well at least people are generally nicer, & know what

My office is really close to this store so I go regularly. They have been rude before but today someone blatantly followed me around the store until I walked out. They were staring at me so hard I took off my jacket to show I hadn’t stolen anything. I know this is a family business but that was racist and wrong.

Tve y are scammers they put one price in the stand and when You go to pay the price is other higher SCAMMER take care with this store

I got sick from the meat in the sanwich... BADLY cooked... would call health dept but thats useless... go at your own risk... Food? forget it... booze? get ready for customer harassment..not customer service...that poor boy needs to 1) keep his mouth shut or 2) get another job...

Very bad place! and disrespectful owner and employe.

Went this morning to grab breakfast, ended up walking out after 15 minutes. Only 1 person who does the cooking and takes orders. Never got to order the wait was too long and once the couple in front of me wanted to stand at the counter coughing and blowing their noses and walked out.

Too expensive and they know it.

Booze and sandwiches. What else could you ask for?!

A bit expensive with a limited selection but there are not too many 24 liquor stores in this part of the city. The Deli upstairs is worth the visit!
