Abysmal pick up experience. Freezing cold outside I came to pick up an item and wasn’t allowed inside the store to inspect the item I ordered. I had to open up the item on the ground outside to see it. I asked for the item to be wrapped or put a bow on it which seemed to be a tremendous inconvenience. No one reviewed anything with me or thanked me for shopping there. I was simply an Inconvenience to this store a a shopper. Disappointed.

We ordered a briefcase a week ago for my husband in the store while when we were traveling to DC and then back to WA now. We havent heard anything from them since then. No order email, no shipment tracking info...... We called LV customer service 5 times but never heard anything back from this store. We had to cancel the order...... If they do not want to sell a 5000$ bag!

I didnt have a terrible time like some of the other reviewers mentioned, but it wasnt especially pleasant. Very limited selection of merchandise in the store, so youre better off going to Tysons.The sales rep was trying to be nice and do her job but honestly I found it annoying. I wanted to browse at my own pace but felt bombarded with having to interact with another person. It would have been nicer to be able to ask to view something when I felt compelled to rather than having to make small talk about every single item I laid eyes on and explain whether or not I wanted to touch it.

I read the reviews prior to coming to this store. As many have stated before me, TERRIBLE customer service. The customer service rep (acting manager?) requested our group to stay together so she could answer questions as a group. I’m sorry…are we kids? My husband and I both wanted to browse the store to our own likings but apparently that’s not okay. My husband refused for her to keep following him. This store gives the impression that anyone entering that does not seem they “belong” will be shoplifting. LV- as luxurious you make it out to me and however much you promote equality in your branding, your representation states otherwise. We are so disappointed!!

I would give zero stars if possible. I went to have my bag repaired and staff were not helpful. Three months later, there is no update on my repair..AFTER emailing asking for an update, the store calls me...what in world was going on before I emailed them asking for an update? I dont understand what was going on for three months with my bag...probably sitting on a counter somewhere collecting dust. Additionally, the manager had an attitude when I asked about a repair and acted like I was a third class citizen. The sales lady who assisted me in purchasing an item while I was there also had the same problem as her manager. Im unsure if it is a race issue or what the issue was but AVOID THIS STORE...go to Tysons or somewhere else instead.

The shopping experience at this Louis Vuitton store was fantastic! My husband and I visited there during off-peak hours and received top-notch customer service in a timely fashion. We were welcomely greeted and ushered to a nice, comfy sofa area. Soon, Ashley H., the Operations Specialist came introduce herself and assisted us. She was super professional, patient, friendly, and down to earth. She did her best to help me find the right bag that would capture my heart, fit my style, and stay within our budget. She made us feel important and special! We were very pleased to purchase such a beautiful and functional bag and were also grateful for Ashleys above and beyond support. Thank you!!

Just left here, security guard that works outside instructed me to go in, after entering the store African American guy tall with a haircut yelled at me for entering and said you can’t just walk in here I apologized and told him that the outside security said I could he said “does it look like he works here” another nice lady who worked in the store told the rude guy to let me in. I told them no thank you I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Nice shopping with Louis Vuitton but I won’t be spending another dollar on this brand again.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but ....This store is not where you wanna go to spend significant Amount of money for luxury !I have been shopping in designer stores since I was 16 & I never had a store that gave me this much of a bad Experience until I visited this one !I’m a New York native but I happened to be in DC To visit family. I took my sister to this LV store to get her first bag from them because she was never really interested in anything designer, she used to buy me everything but never gotten her stuff.So we get to this place it was a Sunday so Parking was convenient, we wait outside for about 30-40 mins to Enter the store & put in hand sanitizer. As we enter I see the store is REALLY SMALL & we were placed with a sales rep who was OK(no greets no laughs and definitely no champagne/ drink.... not the best ). As my sister was showing her pictures of the bag she liked from the website but 9/10 bags was not available in stores! So I got bored and stated walkingAround to see if had more bags in display so I can show my sister (keep in mind I have a N95 mask) but Some low class dude that works there said really rudely ( can you go back to the representative you are working with, we can show you anything els later ) in a really rude was as possible. first of all, I get it it’s the pandemic but you have about 5 people in the store, every one has a mask onn, and last the way you told me to go back REALLY Offended me. This tough guy who I think is the manager there works in this little store that has no inventory wants me to stay in one place to look at his face ?After he said that to me in a really really rude mannerI felt really Furious, I wanted to curse him out but I didn’t because I was with my sister ! So my sister purchased her bag which was about 22 hundred and had it shipped to her house.we went on about our life until we came over another The bad experience!The bag got delivered to a complete wrong address how do you mess up on such things ? It’s not my sister that put in the wrong address, we had triple checked it before we gave them our info! The bag was supposed to arrive in Maryland but it ended up in New Jersey. This is really really pathetic !And to put a cherry of top of this bad experience we can’t call customer service Regarding Instore order and if we call this store they won’t pick up.This message is for LVMHI was a big fan of all of your brands but after this experience I have no hopes of doing business and working with you in the future !SincerelyWagle

This store was horrible! Please believe all of the negative reviews you are reading about this store. My family and I were shopping in City Center and decided to go to this store as I wanted to purchase a particular purse.We waited in line, which during COVID is not a problem. When we entered, we were not told hello, but instead were told “everyone needs to stay together.” I assumed they were speaking about my daughters and said fine.There was a man standing by the door, no hello. Our service advisor, which I didn’t know that was who she was as she didn’t greet us or introduce herself, just followed us around the store.My husband asked, about the service and was just met with stares, literally. This is where I decided that no bag was worth the disrespect, even though they had what I was looking for in the store.From my experience in any store, especially one where one item is thousands of dollars, I expect to be treated like a human being and for the people who work in the establishment to acknowledge that we were there at minimum.My experience at other shops within the same area has been completely different. In fact right before this, we were in Gucci and had a wonderful experience. Were treated with dignity and was able to make our purchases, with our advisor ensuring we were happy and would be taken care of in the future.When I enter any store, especially a luxury brand, I know what I want, and the level of service I expect to receive. I have received better treatment at the DMV than at this Louis Vuitton location.I am not sure what bias this store is ran under, but I can tell you that I will never return, and I am less interested in the brand as a whole. Especially seeing as though this same theme has been written about for years, and the pattern is continuing. There are other stores that will treat you better, and no possession is worth this.

Went to purchase the mens Steamer Backpack online, but they were sold out. I called and was told they had a couple at a location in DC. I didnt even know we had a LV store here. So I was excited and headed to the store.So, lets just say, as a POC, I dont think any of us should shop here. Youd expect the service to be top notch, but Ive received better service at the local gas station and grocery stores.Needless to say, I didnt purchase the bag and asked the online store to let me know when theyre back in stock. But, to be honest, I dont think Ill buy it online, either. Id rather spend my money where Im appreciated as a patron and not judged off the color of my skin.Id advise all POC to steer far from this store.

This store is so small. I told the sales person Michael I wanted to look around first. The moment I told Michael I had an online order Michael stopped (not my request at that moment) to go get the shoe. Michael told me I could walk around but the security seemed uninviting so I regretfully- which I thought respectfully asked him if I could go see the other side and he said no I have to wait for sales person. The store was SMALLL literally 3 steps to realize it’s men stuff and I went right back. The shoes which were already a us size up we’re still too tight. Instead of Michael resending them back same way I paid. They decided to refund and re ring my AMEX I raised my limit in to approve my shoe purchase. In this case AMEX already sees an LV purchase so it declined the second unnecessary transaction. This is where I’m left looking humiliated while I call the bank and she stands at the register as if it wasn’t going to happen. The security went up to her (assuming to see what was going on). I’ve never felt so much pressure while trying to buy a pair of shoes I ordered online. I asked Michael can I call tomorrow to have them process the payment. Micheal said no because I don’t have a relationship established. Silly me! I just purchased an item in January in there Las Vegas store. I told myself this year to get into lifestyle brands. Definitely not if it makes me feel uncomfortable. This store too small anyway- it was nothing spectacular. The security should also be more welcoming. We were outside not knowing what to do. I seen some customers walk away. - I don’t want anyone to get in trouble and definitely not lose Job but learn people’s levels of sensitivity and know your audience

I visited this location on 03/24/2021 after contacting Client Services in search of a monogram patterned key pouch, large agenda cover, and desk agenda. Upon arrival, I was rushed in and asked what I wanted. No greetings, just a visual assessment of how I was dressed. The sales associate told me that Client Services are regularly misinformed when I questioned why I could not have an item hot stamped. Then I was asked cash or credit. The experience has made me question the brand as I feel I was not welcomed as a casually dressed African-American woman. To add insult to injury, the sales associate was unaware that LV made mini agenda up until the early 2000s and still sell the refills.

I visited this location just yesterday on my way out of town from a conference. It was the first time I had visited a Louis Vuitton so I didnt know what to expect. The customer service was excellent from when I entered the door to when I left! I had to wait about 15 minutes to be seen (there were several customers being seen), but they checked on me often. When I was deciding on a handbag, the client advisor was very helpful. I have my first purchase! Thank you!

I dropped a bag off at the Towson,MD store in December 2020 to be repaired. When I did not hear back from the store I tried to visit the store. The store is now closed without notice. I’ve contact the corporate office 4 times with no return call about my bag. I’m very disappointed in customer service of Louis Vuitton.

I have never received the poor level of customer service that I received here at this store. This was the worst experience and I was racially profiled in the store AFTER purchasing a $2000 bag. I was baffled at the poor level of service. In addition they they were supposed to ship an additional item to me within a day or two and it took a few calls, multiple texts to my client advisor and a call to corporate to finally get that resolved. Do not shop in this location unless youre ok with being treated unfairly because of your race.. even if you are a long time brand customer and make purchases at louis vuitton in multiple locations, often.

So today i went to the LV store in City Center to pick up 2 items. One item I purchased online and another item that was a repair. The guy who greeted me took my info and started to retrieve my items. Upon him bringing back my items I noticed that he only had one in his hand the other bag he proceeded to tell me that The SA who was the initial advisor that did the repair will bring me back my item once she comes back from the restroom and then he proceeded to walk away and greet other customers that waited outside....(keep in mind...I am a POC)I waited for more then 20min inside the store just to get my item when all he had to do was get the other item I guess he wanted to make a sale and he skip over me to attend to the (non POC) and for that i had to wait. But when the SA finally came she didnt even realize i was still there waiting for my item. She seemed a little annoyed that i was still there waiting for that long time. she apologized and i appreciated that. But just know they will make POC feel very uncomfortable.

Minority family left to wait in the cold and rain and then treated poorly after finally entering the store. I had the unfortunate “honor” of visiting the Louis Vuitton store in Washington DC (943 Palmer Alley NW Unit 307, Washington, DC 20001, US) on March 1, 2021 at 2:15 pm.While we ended up buying the bag my wife wanted on our wedding anniversary, I was really shocked by the rude treatment by the staff. With poor weather condition that day (heavy wind and freezing rain) we were asked to wait outside in line of two people with two small children (3 yr old and 6 month old). Even though there was only 2 customer in store. After I intently looked inside the store, the white manager came and said “if we had an appointment or how can she help”. I clearly told her we had 2 young children and to let us in and we can wait to be guided inside the store. But she rudely told us to wait outside in the cold.She must be either deaf, blind, clueless or indifferent.After 15 min of waiting outside, we were invited in. The salesperson also rushed us. The underlying tones of the sales people wasn’t welcoming at all. I guess they didn’t assume minorities to be interested in buying anything or perhaps assumed we were just waisting their time.If it wasn’t for my wife and our wedding anniversary, I would have not wasted my time there. But it is shocking and utterly disgusting treatment of customers by a global brand of Louis Vuitton. Clear embarrassment. The quality of goods is secondary, it is customer service that should take utmost priority. Without customers there is no brand. Thanks for reading and if moved do something about it! I do have my receipt if needed.

This was my first time visiting this location; I was a little skeptical after reading all the negative reviews. But I had a great experience! Alexa was my client advisor. She was absolutely amazing. I went there to make an exchange. I had previously purchased a handbag online and the strap was damaged. Alexa was so very kind, knowledgeable and apologetic. Customer Service was very poor. No greetings and the associates were very rude. I made a purchase which they have to order online and they told me that I will receive the product within 2-3 business days. Its been more than a week and I have not received it yet. I tried calling them and no one answers the phone. I tried calling the LV customer service as well and they were unable to figure out the issue either. Its disgusting how such a famed brand has so poor customer service.

Alexa is amazing. I came in dressed like casual Friday at my law firm, nothing fancy. I was literally carrying a Target tote bag. Alexa promptly greeted me with a smile and was more than accommodating. She showed me every style I asked to see, even though I ended up purchasing only one bag. She was so polite! Rude and insulting.My email to LV management:I had a strange and upsetting customer service experience at the Louis Vuitton store in City Center DC (Washington DC) today, February 21, 2021. I arrived at the store around 3:45PM and waited outside until about 4PM. It was a frigid afternoon. Upon being let in, I casually mentioned to the store clerk/advisor (you can see it in the CCTV) that my friend is arriving a few minutes behind me, and that she will be the main buyer. The clerk then asked me to leave the store because its 25% capacity. Because it was very cold outside, and because I may also buy something (and I have bought something in this store), I told the clerk that I would like to stay inside (my friend was less than 15 minutes behind me). The clerk then complained about how the store is only at 25% capacity and I should leave. At that point, I said that I would also like to buy something while I waited for my friend.When my friend arrived, around 4:15 or 4:20, I asked the clerk if they would let her in. when he said no, I volunteered to leave the store so she could come in. The clerk then made a weird excuse about how she cant come in because there werent any advisors to help her. I was confused because I was let in, so why couldnt I leave so my friend can come to the store to buy a belt that wanted. The clerk then complained that this is the way LV has been operating since May 2020, and that we should leave to go to a different LV store in Tysons. As you can imagine, I was very confused, and I called him an ahole for thats what hes being. I frankly am not used to being mistreated at a high end place like this. Totally baffling. He then said that I must leave or hell call the police, and insulted me in the most strange and creative way by calling me a minimum wage earner. First of all, whats wrong with anyone making a minimum wage. I used to make that to put myself through school. Second, I was wearing a custom-made suit, so I had no idea where his creativity came from. He carried on in front of other customers in front of the store, and I think you should take a look. We then went to Gucci and Burberry who gave us excellent service and treated us like human beings. You should hire Frank Bahr from Gucci. Hes an excellent salesman and I called him a hero for making our day.As to your store clerk, please check the CCTV and call me if you have any questions xxx-xx-xxxx. I think hes confused about how customer service works. I work in client service, and I was totally confused about his behaviors at a high end place like LV, especially compared to neighborhood stores like Burberry and Gucci.

GO TO TYSON’S INSTEAD! I went to this store with the intent of purchasing a bag. There was a line outside as they were only letting one person in the store at a time, which is understandable given the pandemic, but other stores are not doing this and it drastically increases wait time. There were two people in front of me in line, and I waited for around 25 minutes after they opened before I was next in line to go in. I ended up choosing not to go in the store - 25 minutes after the store opened, a man came to the door and I gently told him there was a line. He said in the most condescending tone that he works there, so he was going in, and he would see me inside. It’s unfortunate that there are people like this individual that perpetuate the stereotype of luxury retail associates being unnecessarily rude to customers. I didn’t know he was an employee. He should also try practicing punctuality instead of coming in 25 minutes after opening. The associates at Tyson’s are lovely.

I was visiting a friend in the area and came to this LV store to get my Graceful PM repaired (the stitching on the strap was coming undone after less than one year of ownership) because there is no LV store in my city. There was only one other customer in the store and four associates. No one acknowledged me or my friend for a good 15 min until I finally went up to someone and asked for help, which clearly seemed like a bother to them. They took my bag and told me they would ship out to repair and then send back to me at my address in the system. They said it would take 3-4 weeks. It has been 4 1/2 months and I still have yet to receive my bag. I didnt even know that it was back in the store until I reached out to them. They then told me I could come pick it up. I told them I needed it shipped because I live out of town and they said someone would reach out to me that day. They never did. I emailed and received no response back. For spending close to $2,000 on a purse that was falling apart, this is NOT the customer service you would expect. I am so incredibly disappointed and have yet to get my bag back. Do NOT go to this store.

On October 25th I received an email from a sales associate saying that the repair for my speedy 25 was ready for pick up. I responded saying that I will come tomorrow to pick it up. The next day I arrive at the Washington LV location to discover that the store was closed. They had a sign on the door saying that the store is closed for the day and that it will be open tomorrow. After driving 40 minutes to get to the store I was very upset at the fact that I wasnt contacted or informed about the store being closed. As much money as you spend a Louis Vuitton you would think that they would at least send you a text or email to inform you that the store is closed. It appears you have to call the store before driving up here but this location has a history of not answering the phone.

I’ve never shopped at the CityCenter location but I have at the Tyson’s Galleria location. Despite the majority of the low reviews here. The client Advisors at this location were truly the best and very welcoming, especially Alexa! Even though I knew what I wanted, Alexa offered to order what they didn’t have in stock and also suggest alternatives. I went with the alternative route and love my purchase. While she wrapped up/boxed my merchandise I was able to take a glance at their new collection and was also checked in by another Advisor to make sure I was finding everything okay. Be patient during these unprecedented times, and plan your visit ahead. The advisors did an amazing job today and can only do so much to keep them and their clients safe. All in all, definitely will be back again soon. Thank you Again Alexa!!

If I could give this location zero stars or negative 5 stars i most definitely would i got a purse for my fiancé from this location im not to sure of the name or model of it because men don’t really know about purses what i do know is that I spent almost 2k on this purse you would expect that a purse that cost almost 2k would be made out of quality material and it started to peel from the handle and stitching was becoming undone not even 30 days after purchase when i went to exchange it at this same location they did not want to let me exchange it and said they could only send it out for repair so i left and I figured I should read the reviews on this location and noticed multiple women having the same exact problem with their purses so it started to raise suspicion because i own a lot of designer items and they have lasted me a lifetime without peeling or stitching becoming undone or anything so i took the purses to a professional authenticator and come to find out that it was a very well made replica i did not bother to go back to get it fixed or anything but everyone please be careful with this location im not saying the owner buys replicas but who knows I mainly think that those rude employees grab the originals and take them home and replace them with replicas to not have a gap in inventory i am never going back to this LV location ever again thats for sure and I advise everyone else to do the same

Stopped by the store last week on 10/23/20 to purchase a few items. When i get there i am greeted by someone at the door asking what i was looking for before entering, as i showed him the belt i wanted though it had to be ordered they make me go to the cash register to ring me up... i kindly say i am going to look around real quick for anything else i may want. The employee rudely says i cant go over there to look its another customer over there, all while she is ringing me up. I understand social distancing but all i wanted to do was see if it was anything else i wanted they had in store before i paid (wouldnt anyone else?) so ok no problem she then continues to tell me my total like i was done looking, as if i didnt just say i would like to see if it was anything else i may want. So i just ended up paying for my belt and leaving asap. AND they have the nerve to ask me if i still want to look around as im walking out the door!!!! WHILE THE SAME PEOPLE ARE STILL OVER THERE. Very poor customer service last time i EVER shop at that louis vuitton again!

Like most experiences with Louis Vuitton, this one also disappointed. Per usual, I visited this location to have my Speedy 35 exchanged, as the handles began stripping again. The current Speedy I have was already repaired, so it was frustrating seeing this as a recurring issue. Upon entering the store, I waited for a good 10 minutes before anyone assisted me, which is quite understandable, as the weekend traffic caused the store to be busy. After waiting for quite a while, Ashley approached me like it was a bother for her to assist me, so her demeanor was unpleasant from the onset. She hastily took my purse and instantly told me there wasnt much she could do but send it out for repair. My issue with this resolution is that the purse was already sent out for repair and is exhibiting the same issues, so the repairs are insufficient. The first time the purse was exchanged out was done in alignment with the quality report for the time period in which I purchased the bag, so it was standard for them to swap it out. After pleading with Ashley, I then asked for her manager. When the store manager came out, she had a snarky demeanor, coupled with an annoyance. She didnt care to hear my concerns but instead kept telling me she could only just send it out for repair. She also said in her 5 years of working for the company, she had never seen the issue, so she singled-out my specific scenario. On YouTube and a variety of purse forums, there are thousands of complaints about this issue, so her attempt at trying to over-exaggerate my situation was immensely unprofessional of her. The store manager is one of the most disrespectful, incompetent individuals I have ever encountered. She couldnt answer my questions and kept repeating the same empty phrases over and over again. She lacked any sort of articulate communication. The same goes for her and Ashley. I eventually left out with my purse and successfully had it swapped out at the SAKS Chevy Chase location without any issues. I would NEVER revisit this location or purchase another Louis Vuitton product, as the guarantee behind their poorly made items is inadequate and deplorable. Its still unfathomable how a $1k investment in a purse falls apart like a $20 purse. This is ridiculous and undoubtedly unacceptable.

The staff at this location go above and beyond! I was not from the area and they gave me directions to the nearest parking garage. Alexa was amazing! Worst ever! My wife and I are long time patrons of LV products. We have purchased hand bags, wallets (men/women) matching overnight bags, belts, scarves, earrings, perfume, and cologne. We shopped at numerous LV stores. Just to name a few: Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, NYC, Guam, and Japan. However, we have NEVER had a horrible shopping experience as we did earlier today at your Washington DC City Center store. The manager, Jennifer was rude, unprofessional, completely unprepared, clueless about what was being advertised on the store’s website, and incapable of managing a customer wait list. We checked the store’s website to verify that they were indeed open to the public and attempted to call the store several times before making the 45 minute commute. We arrived at the store at 3:45 pm and was told that they were only accepting customers with appointments and that there were 20 customers ahead of us. I asked to speak with the manager but she was out to lunch, so I waited 20 mins for her return. I finally spoke to the manager (Jennifer) and she stated the same thing about appointments only. However, instead of there being 20 customers ahead of us, she stated there were 15. Keep in mind, I stood outside the store that entire 20 minute period and not a single customer came in or out. Finally, I persuaded Jennifer to add my name to the wait list for today, which she did reluctantly. I waited outside the store for an additional 1.5 hours and for that entire time, there were only 4 separate parties of customers, and 2 of the parties left without making a single purchase. Additionally, I watched as 20 potential customers attempted to enter the store but were turnedaway. Over that 1.5 hour period, I spoke with Jennifer three times about her wait list process, and each time she was rude and unprofessional. My wife even called LV customer service center to complain and spent 45 minutes on the phone explaining what we were experiencing. Rebecca from customer service, was extremely courteous, apologetic, and professional. She attempted to contact the store to resolve the issue but could not get through because no one answered the phone. I even informed Jennifer, the store manager, that customer service was attempting to reach them by phone and she responded harshly by saying she didn’t have time to answer. The entire time I was talking with Jennifer, I had Rebecca on speaker to witness the entire interaction. She expressed how unprofessional the store manager was to us. We submitted a customer complaint with Rebecca, who assured us that it would be pushed up to the next level of management. When all was said and done, the store closed at 6pm and not only did Jennifer not give us the courtesy of letting us know, but she never offered an opportunity to place a reservation for another day. We wait over 2 hours and never had an opportunity to shop inside or do curbside pickup, as the website stated was an option. As we waited outside the store, we encountered 3 different customers who had wait several hours to enter, and were equally upset. I have never seen a process so mismanaged, or a leader so incompetent. I watched through the door as 2 sales associates stood around wiping the glass counter, or peering through the window as several customers were turned away. It was shameful, especially during a time of slow economic activity. How does any store remain in business with a failed policy that restricts willing customers from making purchases. It completely blows my mind. I expect better from Louis Vuitton, and I can assure you that Jennifer did not exhibit the values or high standards that your company is known for. We are extremely disappointed.I hope this complaint is investigated and taken seriously or you will lose our business forever.Thank you.

Worst experience in my life! We ordered a bag pre COVID 19 and never received it. We called the louis vuttion customer care and since it was an in store purchase they sent us back to wait until the store opened. We waited, until after the store opened and went to the store to get a refund. They left us standing out in the heat for 2 hours and would not let us in and claimed they couldnt find out if the bag was back at their CA distribution center. We then called back the following Monday and had customer care and the store manager Jennifer on the phone. After inisiting that we would not hang up until it was resolved, magically they were able to verify that the bag was in fact back at their distribution site as we had informed them. The manager then asks me to wait another whole week until friday so that she could refund our money, we obliged because we wanted to make sure it was done by the person we had been speaking with all this time. Then Friday comes and she calls me 6 mins before 11am and I was on a call and I told her I would call her back, she then informs me that she has appts all day and only has this time. After 6 months of waiting I should be a priority! I will never shop here again and I would never recommend anyone to shop here. To treat people this way with a brand name such as they have is insane.

We were waiting outside as the guard was letting a couple out, and as we make eye contact with the guard, he closes the glass door and my partner and I had to open the door by ourselves when he had just held it for the previous customers. No apologies from the guard as he continued to look at us when we entered. Once inside, nearly all associates were busy except one. She was looking around at everyone then glanced at us and walked away, so I assumed perhaps she was busy as well. We waited behind some customers to talk to someone, but after waiting some time, we decided to find another associate that would be available again. The same lady was the only one available, so I change station and walk to her. She finally acknowledges us and asks us how she can help. She was finally able to help us with our inquiries, considering that she was in no way warm and could hardly fake a smile. I had brought my older LV bag and wanted to get an estimate for repair costs. After a few short answers and low enthusiasm, we decided to postpone on the service and left the store. We went straight away to Tyson Galleria Saks’ Louis Vuitton store, and the associate there was extremely kind and helped us with everything that we needed with. It is such a shame that I cannot remember his name as he had offered us EXCELLENT services!My partner and I (in our early 20s) would certainly not stand out from a diverse crowd of people as we dressed for a casual warm day, but I do not believe that staff members should treat any customer differently simply based on their looks. Poor service from Louis Vuitton at DC CityCenter. Had I spruced up my look a bit with a blazer, perhaps my experience would have been different.

I don’t understand the 1-star reviews; I’ve only ever received great customer service at this LV location. The staff has always greeted me right away and given me great customer service (even when I popped in while wearing workout clothes from Target/no makeup).On my most recent trip they didn’t have the item I wanted in-store. However, the SA (Bree) was able to locate it at the Tyson’s Galleria location. She was able to have them hold it for me and proceeded to give me very detailed directions to the other store.I’ve shopped at this location 2-3 times and will definitely return in the future. :)

I took my business to Doir around the corner where they were so professionally. Thank Again Doir for treating everyone alike...please go by and train the staff at Louis Vuitton. As with most reviews here I was not acknowledged for a period of time . If it was not for the communication of other customers waiting that were also not acknowledged, there is no telling what would have happened with whom was next and no system during the holidays. Once someone did get to me Jennifer was very helpful and attentive. Not the normal experience I have received in a luxury store but I have also not shopped during the holidays. No excuse as this was a weekday, there were at least 5 SAs and not alot of people waiting to be assisted.

My husband and I walked into this store today. Just as someone else stated, no one acknowledged us either. There were two females sitting behind the counter as soon as we walked in. Neither one of them acknowledged us. We were the only ones in the store. When we walked past the counter Allen H. gave us a warm greeting and asked how he could help us. He was FANTASTIC!!! He went out of his way to find the bag that I wanted and also showed us matching accessories. They didnt have the bag that I wanted in stock so he offered to order it and have it sent to our home. Eventually, one of the ladies who didnt acknowledge us came over and started having a conversation with me about the bag I was considering purchasing. I guess that she realized that we were really going to buy a bag and was trying to save face. I almost told my husband not to buy the bag because of the lack luster customer service but Allen was so accommodating and gracious that I was happy to buy from HIM. Several people came in the store after us and were acknowledged but didnt buy a thing! If youre going to work in a high end store, you should at least acknowledge everyone who comes into the store. You cant judge a book by its cover. 5 stars for Allen H.!!! 1 star for the rest of the sales associates.

You gotta dress to impress to this location. I walked in to the store and waited for like 10 mins. Nobody noticed that I was standing there. Then 20 mins later, a guy came to me that he would be right back with me. Of course, he never did. 30 mins later, I was told that I had to put my name on the waiting list. I was really frustrated but still waiting patiently. Finally, thanks to Alexa that came to help and I got a bag that I wanted. Anyway, Ill never go back to this location again and the lady with the short hair needs to fix her attitude.

If I could give them a zero, I would. This is the most unprofessional and rude Louis Vuitton store I have ever been to. I went in to do some shopping, but most importantly I had recently bought some Louis earrings but unfortunately lost my back. I went in to see if I could get another earring back, but was told that I should go to Claire’s instead. Don’t get me wrong, Claire’s is great for smaller children, but I am not about to put a Claire’s earring back on my $400 Louis Vuitton earrings. I decided not to buy anything at all, and left astounded at the nasty comment and rude stares received from all of the employees, including the security guard. I do not recommend going to this location, go to another or just order from online.

I would not even give them the one star if I could. I left my wallet with them to be sent out for some re-stiching. That was almost 3 months ago.! I called a couple of days ago and spoke to Merlin, who could not find anything about my wallet. She told me that the manager will call me the next day. It’s been 3 days and no call. I spoke to their client services, at HQ, who were just as unhelpful. They could not locate my wallet and said the manager is the ONLY one who can address this issue. No calls from the manager. Pretty sure they lost the wallet, but what is most annoying, is the fact that they lie and do not follow up.Once I get my wallet back, I will never do any business with them.UPDATE: Got in touch with the manager, Alan, finally. ( because I kept calling back)! He was polite and understanding, but still unable to find my wallet. The wallet was lost in shipping, according to him. However, he did offer me the new version of my wallet. I accepted his offer and I received the new wallet, and a gift that he included a couple of days ago! My attachment to the old wallet was sentimental because it was a gift from my late mother and would have still preferred getting it back. I am upgrading them to 2 stars.

The City Center Louis Vuitton is one of the best Louis Vuitton stores in the DMV area. Its unfortunate that the DMV does not have a flagship store; however, the personal services that associates at the City Center Louis Vuitton provides is excellent. Their dedication to the customers is what separates the CC Louis Vuitton store from others in the area. Alexa has assisted me to find several items only sold at flagship stores. I would highly recommend Alexa to anyone who needs assistance obtain exclusive items.

This store is VERY DISCRIMINATORY! To call the number and a woman named selestena tell me that the store does not accept outside calls or calls from customers is a form of DISCRIMINATION! Furthermore an answering system cant tell me products that are physically at the store at any given moment. This is a terrible practice and procedure. I wish I could give this 0 stars. I sat in there for over 15 minutes waiting for some assistance. No one ever came. One guy said he would come and help but he instead helped someone else who came in after me. Other ppl were also waiting for help and no one was assisting yet workers were walking around. A sell is more than just the purse, its the experience too. This LV store is lacking this and I will take my money to another location.

I visited this store today to make a purchase. It wasnt very busy and we were not acknowledged when we walked into the store. I had to approach the salesperson when she was done with a customer to ask for assistance. She helped me with the purchase that I wanted to make and explained the different features of the bag, but she never introduced herself and wasnt very friendly. Quite a difference from the stellar customer service I received at the Gucci store down the street.

This is the absolute best LV store I’ve ever visited!!! I was going through a customer issue with my bag, and had an unpleasant experience, but this store exceeded my expectations. I first met Marco... he is a gem! I was then greeted by many other amazing team members such as Nathayai and Jazmine, truthfully the whole team was incredible. By the time I was leaving, they tracked down and orders the bag I truly wanted, and I was hugging them, because of the sense of relief I felt and the excitement I now had again. Mediocre costumer service for a LV store. Went in to buy a passport holder after work. The store was almost empty by the time I arrived. Upon walking in I asked the first sale associate for assistance, he seemed to be too busy playing on his phone and told me to ask another person. While I was speaking with the second sales associate she was also on her phone / helping another person in the store. (There we’re about 6 sales associates in the store and two/three costumers) many of the sales associates were standing around not assisting anyone. While I was waiting for my item to be wrapped a third sales associate did come up to me and answer some questions I had regarding carryons and duffles. I would recommend visiting the Tyson’s location, if you want the higher level of costumer service LV is known for.

If I could give this store a zero, I would. Sales representatives here are rude. I originally came in to buy a gift for my mom. I wasnt dressed fancy or anything, just a regular short, tshirt and sandals. I overheard two sales associate talking about me and how one should atleast approach me. One of them said She is not going to buy anything which made me feel like they were judging me by how I looked. They did not want to approach me because they assumed I will not buy anything. I left the store dissapointed and irritated. The person at the door also did not greet or open the door for me when I came in and went out. He just watched me figure out if the door is either a push or a pull. Im not going back to this store anymore. Terrible service!!
