Food is great but space is really small. We went for brunch and was given seating with no real dining table. The French toast and wings were amazing.

Ok where to start, they said you would get an experience.. it definitely was an experience a HORRIBLE one, we made a reservation and still waited 40 mins to seat. Ordering food was horrific we waited 25 to 45 minutes for this bottomless brunch food to even arrive at our table. Smh and when the food came it was cold. The food was decent but cold once arrived. we had to ask several times for our food and yet still didnt get it or we got the wrong order 3 times. This was our 1st and absolute last time coming to this place. The manager offered no discount except he offered drinks. How can you drink on an empty stomach? .. Id prefer the food over the drinks if it had ever come. Yup we wont be back terrible service unattentive and waited entirely too long for food and service.

Chicken was a bit dry. The person that I was with ordered the sliders & she mention they was also dry. Drinks were really good though. And the decor was really cute !

My favorite place in all this of D.C. the atmosphere is amazing, music is top notch and food quality is excellent. Definitely will be coming back here again.

This place is whatever. The food is ok but the service is very mediocre. The hosts are literally there for decoration. All they do is stand there and point at where to sit, they don’t even walk you to the table. People pay in the front and none of the hosts take care of them, the servers do. They literally stand there staring at people. I had never seen hosts as decoration. One of the hosts was cleaning our table (bc the waiter asked her too, he was busy. Otherwise she wouldn’t have moved a finger) after we waited 10 min to have it clean and we were repeatedly saying “thank you!” And she literally rolled her eyes at us and didn’t say anything.The servers are not attentive at all, and they bring you the wrong things. I asked for salt and they brought me an empty shaker ??? See pics for reference. I asked for water when I asked for the shaker and they never brought me anything. We wanted to get dessert but after this treatment, we didn’t want to give this place any more money.The quesadilla is whatever. Nothing special honestly.The chicken and waffle is good though. The chicken has a weird spice to it. The waffle is really good though. The fries are good too.We came at night and saw two fights break out outside the restaurant. This place is located in a very shady part of town. It’s probably good during the day when the clubs are closed I guess. Don’t come at night.The ambiance of the place is nice, the decor and music. It’s a shame that they have such bad service.

Food was yummmmy!! BUT Service was subpar. Slow and unattentive. Was Double charged twice, we asked for it to be removed, one of the servers said, and I quote were too busy to adjust and remove items from the bill. So instead, order a drink or dessert, free of charge lets just saw were were beyond taken back!!

Really good food!! I had shrimp and grits, daughter had Quesadillas. Place could use some updating..decor is kinda of all over the place...but its a cute spot. Good music. I didnt like plastic cups with my dinner though..other than that..its cool!

Last night we went to Rewind while they had the Sakura pop-up bar. For a bar that wasnt busy, service was extremely slow. We waited for the wait for 30 minutes, and then it took him an additional 20 minutes just get the drinks.The drinks were rather lack luster for their cost. If you are looking for drinks, should avoid going here. Also despite being almost entirely empty late at night, they required a reservation.

I planned a birthday brunch with Rewind, and the staff was very accommodating for a slightly large party. They were attentive and polite. The food was delicious. Definitely was a no brainer to get the all you can eat deal.

This place had very disappointing food & drinks. They nickel & dime you for everything. We were told we would have to pay $2 to sample the mumbo sauce, since we werent sure we wanted to order it on the wings. We went ahead & ordered the wings with mumbo sauce and were still charged an extra fee for the mumbo sauce, that was supposed to come with the wings. 🤷🏾‍♀️The bill, stated we were charged for 9 wings, we only got 7. 😒I asked them to be seasoned, and of course they werent. Thank goodness they were hot.And the drinks were weak..the ginger beer was flat.When we alerted the waiter, he seemed very uninterested and took $2.98 off the bill. 🤨Never. Again.

Ordered from this restaurant via Uber eats and the food came warmed and nicely presentable. I ordered chicken sliders with a Philly cheese steak sandwich and absolutely loved it!!! Highly recommend this place:)

This was a great choice! Lots of choices and plenty of seating. The food was well prepared and the service was great. Just a short walk from DuPont Circle or White House area. Will come back for a lunch or dinner!! Everything is nice. I highly recommended this place. Must try.

Less than 0. Was forced to pay 20 dollars to reserve a table for brunch, only to arrive and have the restaurant be closed. Couldn’t get a refund through open table, tried to call the restaurant 5 times but their mailbox is full. Full scam.

The food was decent, the captain crunch french toast was amazing. The home fries, tiriamisu, steak, plantains were tasty. The mac & cheese needed seasoning or something it was too bland. I would have gave 5 stars but our waiter Khadija was a bit rude and messed up our orders several times and ignored my friend when she asked for more champagne. She said its clear yall are not drinkers when my friend asked what happened to our other bottle of champagne. Overall, the bottomless brunch was worth the price.

The food here is good. We had the salmon entree, southwest chicken salad, loaded tots and fried oreos. They were all really good. The oreos were battered in a funnel cake batter and were really good. The food was the whole reason for the any stars. The major issue was there service. It was seriously bad. Like worst Ive had in a really long time. We ordered a soda and a lemonade, it took 10 minutes to get the lemonade and about 20 to get the soda. When I asked about the soda our server said the bar was still working on it. There were literally 10 other customers in there total. The bar was not busy! My food was delivered 10 minutes before the rest of the family. They didnt seem concerned about getting anything out in a timely manner. I literally had to get up and go find my server to get our bill. He was just completely absent. It was crazy bad. They knew it too because they added an 18% gratuity on when we were only a party of three. Im not the type to not tip, but I definitely didnt add anything on.

I love the decor of Rewind. Service just like the other reviews could use some improvement. Our server left after we were given water by the hostess and returned after a Starbucks run. We were told we had to do bottomless brunch/mimosas. The wings were supposed to be 6 count & we received 4. Then we ordered a waffle but the cup of fruit was missing. Although these mishaps were rectified it just was not the vibe we are used to at a DC brunch.

Super slow service...waiter checked on us maybe twice. Gratuity was already added into our bill. Waiter never returned with my $40 change...I had do find him to get my change. I will definitely not return to place.

I ordered through Door Dash for Rewind Diner. This is the second great experience with a Dasser. I mistakenly thought the advertised corn beef hash and eggs would be, well, the consistency of that which inhabits a can. No, instead, it is small pieces squared of corned beef mixed in hash brown potatoes. I am sure this appeals to others, but I wasnt a fan. I also ordered chili and was glad. Small pieces of beef with light spices and a tomato broth--all not overwhelming. Tasty.

Conveniently the restaurant stayed close to the hotel my girlfriend and I were staying at so we were able to DoorDash our food. I was ecstatic when I looked at the menu and saw that they offered breakfast for the entire day. My girlfriend specifically asked if we could receive extra syrup for our pancakes and french toast that we ordered, not thinking that this would be a big deal being that we were both ordering breakfast. Instead of getting any extra syrup, we received absolutely no syrup or butter at all that was listed in the description of each meal. To add onto our disappointment, both of our breakfast meals (pancakes and french toast) tasted like they were cooked on a char covered griddle that had not been cleaned after something greasy was cooked. It is a real shame because we were both looking forward to eating food from this restaurant due to the high ratings. Unfortunately we would not recommend.

Great atmosphere, love the vibes here. The Kitchen stays open until 4 am on the weekends!! I have tried most of the dishes and mmm soo good. Steak and eggs, Salmon, cheesteak, the breakfast burger are some of my favorites. But they have a wide variety on the menu. And their milkshakes are bomb!!! You can get them spiced with liquor too. Definitely my new favorite spot

Neat little diner open late and near Dupont circle. The burger was good though under cooked for medium rare as you can see in the photos. Nice music selection and friendly staff. They do a good bit of late night business with Uber eats and GrubHub so you can have you order delivered. I was warned that the menu was about to change so exact to see that in the near future.

I went for the Sakura Pop Up. I think everything was really cute and fun. I loved how the people working werent constantly coming up asking how Im doing but we definitely were noticed if we needed anything. I felt more at ease like that.

This was an order placed via DoorDash. Ordered curly fries for $6, along with another item, but got this instead of the side of fries I ordered. Looks to be burnt brown, bottom of the basket, soggy fries.Asked for correct item or refund, but every time DoorDash attempted to contact them, just rings, rings and goes to voicemail.This isnt the first time I had a similar issue. I thought the first time was odd or off chance or mistake or careless. It wasnt. Clearly if you are not a customer in the restaurant, same standards and attention does not apply.Cant speak to experience in restaurant, but dont order online. Seems like offering service for a quick buck, with no attention to accuracy, quality or customer service/experience.

The food is by no way your average diner . Service and the Manager Peter was amazing helping me with menu. Shawn the bartender was so genuine . I work in the industry and appreciate great service . Thank you and will be back to have more tasty treats....

We came here last friday, and the food and atmosphere were great! But if your looking for short lines, I recommend coming in early. But other than that, hubby and I will be coming back.

I called twice and they hung up on me both times in the middle of a question.

Disappointing! I came here and yes the place is beautiful, but my friend and I waited 30 monutes for the waiter to take our drink order, and then an additional 15 for the drinks.We asked for the bill and they were only quick to collect the bill( under 3 minutes) Not worth the price.

Omg! So first of all, Im got this recommendation from Tik Tok and let me just say, This was everything. It did take a bit long for our orders to get to the table, but you had little to no time at all to worry about that because between the amazing decor and a fire playlist, the vibe and the energy was fantastic. The food was so delicious. Loaded Tater Tots I highly recommend. 10/10 would visit again. I love this place.

ATTENTION.so i had done a reservation for this amazing cherry blossom experience that i saw them advertised and saw a tiktok trend go around which i wanted to take my BF so i did the reservation online which was a non refundable $10 bc of the cherry blossom experience which i said to myself it would be worth it. WHAT THEY DID NOT MENTION that theres a chance you would be sitting outside. so when we got there we went inside which looked beautiful to talk to the host then to walk us outside which then i asked i paid the $10 for the cherry blossom experience which was only inside and when walking us outside he mentions “this is part of the experience” SO in other-words theres a chance youll sit outside and be pointless to pay the 10

Ive ordered their steak and eggs, tater tots and deep fried oreos and man were they all delicious! But mostly the oreos, they were out of this world! Host was very friendly.

I am extremely impressed by the quality and level of thought put into this masterpiece. The owner goes above and beyond to ensure his customers get what they want. Wide selection of food and open late. Decor is very tasteful. He is also very involved in helping the community and those in need. Staff is very friendly.

Hard workers. Great games and atmosphere

I went for brunch and the food was really good. Also the music was great. I had a really good time. Im glad they had TVs in there. I was able to watch some basketball while my friends and I enjoyed our drinks.

It’s a night club. Not a restaurant. At first, Brenda the waitress/bartender was fantastic. The appetizers arrived quickly. Our party consisted of two grandparents, four parents, and three grandchildren. The rainbow waffles for the older grandchildren were excellent. It took quite a long time to get our food, but it was pretty good. We ordered steak, but they do not have a one sauce which is confusing.Honestly, the worst part of the evening, was when we changed my nieces dirty diaper. There were not changing tables in the bathrooms so we just change sure where we were able and had a dirty diaper. They told us we could not dispose of our dirty diaper in the trash receptacles and that was a health hazard. Well as an attorney, I found this quite disturbing-not to mention illegal. I will never come back here or recommend anybody for children to go to this restaurant.

This was the first brunch at Rewind diner they definitely need to fine tune some things regarding service and having a more appealing menu, but I am still giving a good review because the manager rectified my issues and I understand that it must be hard on the first day of operations. The ambiance is absolutely everything and music is bomb.

Great music! All the throwbacks. The interior is really cool and the service is great! Food is awesome too. The cheesesteak and wings are my favorite. Oh and worlds best curly fries.

Great atmosphere and drinks

Didn’t even know about this place but went in and saw the menu and realized I stumbled upon a gold mine of deliciousness. I had the steak and eggs for a meal... the steak was cooked a perfect medium rare like I asked and the eggs were perfectly runny for dipping. Finished it off with some s’mores French toast which was phenomenal! I’m definitely bringing friends here and you should too!

This restaurant is definetely the best one weve visited in Washington D.C during our vacation. The food was good and my whole family had a delicious steak, perfectly cooked and with all the side orders we needed. Last but not least, the crew was very kind and offered a great service.

Spent seven days in DC for work and ate four times at Rewind. Really great food, excellent service and the Y2K video mashups are perfect after 13 hour work days. Can’t wait to come back!

Ordered food using Grubhub. At first was 30 minutes overdue. They called to say food was in route. Then, after an hour, they called to ask us to call the delivery driver. After order 90 minutes overdue we called Grubhub to cancel. Woman on phone made up crazy reasons why food could be delivered. We never got any food. Ruined what had been a pleasant evening. Rewind is a bad place.

Definitely not the place to go to when looking for a late night diner. Very misleading description on all platforms. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR 30+!!!

That was a weired experience. We walked in a bit early for dinner, because it was close to our hotel and hoped for a real diner setting. But its more like a bar with food.My burger was really well prepared.But my wifes chicken and waffels looked good in the beginning, but the chicken had bones and was hard to eat. Thats not how it should be.We also had some happy hour drinks which turned out very expensive, because they used an expensive tequila I didnt even ask for.It wasnt really clean neither.

My friends and I were asked to pay for our food in advance. The waitress refused to take our orders unless we provided her with our credit cards. I have eaten in Rome, had the pleasure of having brunch in the Eiffel Tower and was never asked to pay ahead. So I just wanted to know if this you all policy or was the blonde waitress racist towards a group of black women there to pay for their dinner. Thanks

Got the peach cobbler waffle and a piece of NY cheesecake. Was pretty disappointed with both.. ordered from postmastes delivery. the waffle hardly came with any peach cobbler topping. No sryup or anything to really lather on the waffle.. I mean the cobbler topping was in a tiny Togo container. The mix itself was okay. But the strawberrys on the cheesecake were all brown!!

Overpriced burgers

I went for the soft opening and the place is so sleak and modern looking. Not what I was expecting of a diner, but I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was super friendly!

I don’t know what time this place closes officially, but we came in around 1:45 am and ordered food, which took a good 15-20 mins to come out. That’s fine, but as soon as the food arrived the lights were turned up full blast. Might as well have been daylight in here, which is not what you’re looking for when walking into a dark bar and ordering food after a night out on the town — so people, be forewarned! We asked the waitress to speak with the manager and request they dim the lights in the couch area, where they had served us the food. We explained that the food literally JUST came out when all of a sudden the light came up. It was a rude awakening. No one said we would be eating in daylight when we walked in. The food itself was tasty, but I would never come here again after partying in the area. Bad choice for partygoers! And we weren’t the only couple in the place who were really annoyed by this. Bad form, Rewind! Go somewhere else if you’re trying to come here for food at the end of a night out...

Always one to try new spots, this is a must try. Whether it be for the burger or the “grown up” shake this place does not disappoint. I intend to work my way through the whole menu!!!

You dont get what the menu offers: menu says 16oz beer, they serve 12oz cans; menu says curly fries, theyre regular fries. Not a big deal, but Id just like to get what Im offered.Ordered a burger that came with mushrooms and onions. Literally one slice of a tiny mushroom and one inch-long slice of onion.At least it tasted okay.

Server got none of our orders correct, mixed up sides from the menu, and put the wrong items on the checks. Awful overall.

The drinks are too overpriced $13 for a shot is just crazy. The atmosphere and music are grateful but the drinks are just ridiculous.

I havent eaten there, but their happy hour is decent. Nice staff, nice ambiance, mellow during happy hour, probably gets busier later.

Credit card not returned send them an email that my brother will pick it up he shows and the story turns, I have to go in person to pick it. Basically they said screw you, even though I confirmed all the information on the credit card. Would not even give the card even if the cardholder called. Very counterintuitive management that refused to do anything. Avoid avoid avoid

During Halloween night, upon entrance, the security just put me aside without telling me anything. After asking the second guy, he told me that I was intoxicated (Ps.: I was the designated driver for the night and was not drinking). To the security: You are unrespectful and you lack of ethic.

Expensive but have late hours

If you’re in DuPont and you are hungry... go to Rewind!! You won’t be disappointed. And the chicken pot pie is bomb!!

Have had the steak n cheese. Truffled cheese is a great touch. Burgers are awesome. Honey sirracha wings are incredible. The setting is awesome for dinner or drinks and hanging out with a group after work or for lunch.
