Nathan was very hospitable. Definitely got my group help in out time of need.

The main restaurant of the Marriott Marquis in Washington DC. The breakfast was great, the service outstanding and the Spanish Omelette very delicious. The staff was very kind, smiling and professional. The inside decoration and the lighting of the restaurant were also very successful. Definitely recommend it as well for dinner.

The food was great, and the service was good. For a hotel restaurant I was expecting higher prices, but the menu was very affordable. I needed to have a quick lunch with a colleague and then get to the airport, and the fast service and convenient location were exactly what I needed-- and Anthem did that with without sacrificing quality or gouging my wallet. The atmosphere was good too - very easy to have a conversation when when the restaurant was full.

The Chef at Anthem was very accommodating to make an egg-free Vegetarian sandwich at breakfast.

Its very nice restaurant for its services and freshness food. mostly I like, their service and their buffet of omlet station.

The overall service was decent. The food was good too but very very expensive. The atmosphere is nice though!My only complaint is they didnt want to split the checks at the end and were very rude when we asked if we could please do that.Also instead of tips being earned they were expected and were asked by staff even though we left cash.

Venue is amazing! My boyfriend and I went to see Gretta Van Fleeton Saturday . Perfect datenight. I would like to compliment an usher named Keith he was helpful, professional and courteous! Thanks KeithWe will be back.

I love their tomato soup. Have actually had it three days in a row. They are very helpful. I asked them to just have the soup instead of grilled cheese and tomato soup and they were happy to do it.

The food and the service were great. Ordered the crunchy French toasts and they were amazing. Definetly going back for more

Came here for lunch and the staff were trying to rush me to order. I asked for the mayonnaise dressing for my Organic chicken salad to be placed on the side, but the waiter said he couldn’t accommodate that request. So I opted to order the Iron Bistro Steak. The mushroom sauce was extremely salty, so much so that I had to drink several glasses of water just to finish my meal. I couldn’t even enjoy the steak because of it.Overall not a great experience. Don’t think I want to come back to this again.

Went with some folks that were anxious to see if Anthem recreated the Hot Shoppes menu (formerly owned by Marriott from 1927 to 1999) any justice. Ive never been to Hot Shoppes so I didnt have a reference point. I enjoyed the shrimp and grits. My guest said the Mighty Mo wasnt quite the same. My other guest really enjoyed the Waffle and Chicken sandwich. We ended our lunch with a Hot Shoppes staple, Orange Freeze, which was perfect fuel for our walk back to the office. Needed to burn those calories asap.#CityExpertsAnniversary

Food was good but service was not. Pretty pricey for what you get. Couldnt understand the waitress so we were poored 2 coffees and 2 juices even though only one of us wanted coffe and one of us juice. We were charged $5 for each drink. So yes $20 right there. Are you kidding me? Wasnt not happy with the outcome. So be very specific on what you want and dont want at this place!

The eggs at breakfast are the worst eggs that I have tasted. Staff is friendly but not attentive, efficient or quick. Very expensive for the quality and service received.
