I dont know what they do to their donuts that the Virginia store on route 1 doesnt do, but the donuts at this Krispy Kreme are always fresh and fresher than any other Krispy Kreme Ive been to in this area. And the service is impeccable as well, I wasnt greeted so kindly as I was and this store! The woman in Virginia was very cold and distant, and they had a limited amount and variety of donuts in the VA store, when I was there last. I live on the other side of town, but, I will travel as far as I need to to go to the Washington, DC, Connecticut avenue store from now on!

The best thing I have ever tried. Staff was excellent, prices are decent and the donuts are delicious! I do recommend it.

Great selection of donuts! If you dont have your physical Vaccination Card, a picture of it works just fine, at least it worked for me and my mother. They also have 2 different types of Pumpkin Spice donuts! Anyways, great place to go, right to the left of the Dupont Circle Metro Station. Highly recommended for a quick donut or 2 if youre motivated.

Most deceiving Krispey Kreme in North America.You know how donuts are hard and not as good the next day after you bought them?Well it only took 6 hours for that to happen today.I dont know whether these donuts were not fresh in any way or if they were not made properly. The original ones didnt even look glazed

We got some KK and it was amazing, I give it a 4 but it deserves a 5 because I received my order just when the new batch arrived at the store which really upset me since my favorite type (strawberry) ran out and the new batch was filled with them, also the chillers were liquidy but other than that, amazing. We used a coupon from the Washington Times and it helped with the price, the coupon helped a lot, and I do recommend using them! Thank you Krispy Kreme!

Donuts are made fresh every morning. The store is very clean an vibrant. Cant wait til my next visit

Staff is super friendly and happy to honor promotions. Convenient to metro (literally right next to the metro entrance) and major streets. Hours are convenient as well. Enjoy coffee and a donut in scenic Dupont circle.

Great,great great donut 🍩 but only early in the morning. We went in the afternoon, near to close hours and they were cold and mediocre. Next day in the morning, donuts were amazing.

Okay if you dont like Krispy Kreme your issue. I cant say anything bad they gave me a free donut cuz I have my vaccination which you should too just to suggestion. Go there and buy something and thank the staff. Have a good night.

Had some time to kill so I skipped my happy self to Krispy Kreme for donuts and coffee. The service was good. They suggested the new pumpkin glazed since fall is upon us and I had to get an original glazed. I ordered a vanilla latte with an extra shot. The donuts were Heavenly (I expect nothing less) but the coffee was a let down. It tasted burnt and since I was charged $1 for an extra shot I should be able to taste that shot. I. Did. Not. So ordering coffee from here wont happen again. But other than that it was a typical experience.

If you want to die young from sugar consumption, this is the place for you. Low effort chain and this specific location does a good job of reminding you of that. Not an interesting or useful donut solution.

Theres something special about a hot Krispy Kreme donut that rolls out on the conveyor belt, especially when its coupled with a frozen mocha latte. This store is right next to the Metro exit and just a few blocks from the Phillips. The staff is really nice and friendly. If youre a senior, ask for the ten percent discount.

Its always a happy time when you see that neon sign glowing from afar. Stopped by for the Valentines donuts. I mean who doesnt like themed food items! Worth the trip. This location always had a friendly staff and fast service. Convenient being located right next to the metro.

The donut didnt taste fresh at all. I should have know something was wrong when he got the donuts from out of a Krispy Kreme box sitting on the side instead of off of a rack.The bad part is that I asked the guy was the donuts fresh and he said it was, SMH.

Krispy Kreme doesn’t taste the same anymore or is it just this one, Sometimes the donuts at this location are stale and overly sweet, And the coffee is nasty and watered down.

Its ok, chocolate donut could be better

The light for hot donuts was on, but that was not the case. I was informed their light is always on, and I would have to wait three minutes for hot donuts. I would have never circled the four blocks and parked illegally if I know I, would have to wait the light is miss leading.

The cash registers dont have a screen to display what theyre going to charge you. I ordered 2 dozen doughnuts, but they charged them individual price instead of per dozen so the total was double what I was expecting, and when I was told what the total would be, they constantly mumbled. No help over the phone either.Update: how can a store be so poorly managed. No order to serving customers, asking people to move, calling people to the register then telling them to move and ring up others...

Great place to stop for a afternoon delight, but no restrooms. So it might be advisable to plan a head.

This KK has a very limited offering. Not sure why. Its not a big place but, its KK so the donuts are good. Just dont go expected a wide range of goods despite what their website may say.

Great staff. Tell them a joke. :) Theres not a ton of variations at this location, but it was clean and well done. Its a small place in the city anyway, they cant have every variation. To name a few I remember there: Glazed, chocolate sprinkle, strawberry sprinkle, custard, lemon, cream, raspberry filled....They also had Oreo and cake batter filled. They had a couple cake donuts. After typing all of these out, I realize how it seems like quite a lot...but they didnt have one of my favorite, maple! So thats why I give ZERO stars. Im kidding, its cozy, I recommend.

Smallest Krispy Kreme Ive been too. Young staff with no manager in sight. Needs a good cleaning. Got a few donuts and all cold. Like out of fridge cold. Sign was on but no one offered a fresh made warm donut. I shouldnt have to ask for it.

They often have the HOT DONUTS sign illuminated when theres no hot donuts. Plus they close way too early. Also its almost $6.00 for 3 donuts- thats insane!!

They delivered donuts with old dough, dry and they were cold. They didn’t even make an attempt at a good product. I waited a little over a hour for it to arrive only to be disappointed.

Nothing beats the smell of freshly baked Krispy Kreme donuts and the neon signs flashing drawing you in like a moth to a flame.This place needs a bit of cleaning. The store has this grime and feels like it needs to be wiped down from counter to floor.The guys behind the counter are friendly enough but I guess the heavenly smell of donuts have pass as they take your order. Theclassic is always good but my favorite is probably the creme filled. This is always treat after a fun night out. The calories are so worth it.

I want to file a complaint People do not take the current situation seriously. This morning I went through some donuts and the store clerk was not wearing gloves or mask. So how do you feel safe asking for takeout if bosses and employees dont take sanitary measures to prevent the virus from spreading? You should be aware that the problem is serious.

We went and bought two dozen of glazed donuts for our staffs. They ask if we want it hot. That was the first time I tried with warm donuts. It was so good that I ate 3 just was on my way back to home. The place is a bit small but very clean. It location is tucked in right next to the red line metro station at DuPont circle. Next to it is Panera Bread. I come here as well for lunch from time to time. I would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a fresh cup of coffee and donuts.
