Loved my experience at the DC showroom! It was *not* pushy at all. The stylist had a great eye for what would look great on me and gave me honest opinions about what looked good and what didnt look so good. Plus, the clothes are super comfy - perfect for transitioning from a year of telework loungewear to being back in the office. Highly recommend!
The dress I felt pressured to purchase looks like a BAG on me. It is the worst fashion mistake I have ever made. I dont like their business model. It is intimidating, and I feel it is not well suited for women who are over a size 6 or 8. I can easily afford the clothes, but I do not care at all for the way they market them, and how you are made to feel when you walk in the store, when they look you up and down and youre not a perfect size 2. Im moving on. Get real. We are not all a size 2 or 4, and youre not even making things that look good on a size 12.
Unique clothes shopping experience! My wife made an appointment and had clothes picked out in her size before she got there. She tried them on and the assistant helped her find the right clothes for her. Really a cool way to shop.
I stopped in a couple days ago looking to pick up an item from the website. Appointments are recommended, but they took my walk in very quickly and effortlessly. We were helped by a lovely woman named Chandler who got us exactly what we needed, and made sure it fit our needs. Her professionalism and attentiveness during a busy work day could not be overstated at all. Many thanks to the whole team, and a huge thank you to Chandler for helping us out and getting us what we needed! If youre in DC and need a stylist, ask for her!
I ordered my first Bento and received one item that fit me. There were no care instructions on the garment, so I washed it and the zipper broke. I am SO glad that zipper didn’t break while I was wearing the Coretta Dress!!! Of course MMLaFleur will refund or replace. The Styling Team suggested I take my new $200 dress to a tailor to have the zipper fixed.I tried the service and will not be using it again.
Love love loves my experience here. I scheduled a personal stylist session. Right off the bat Malik’s greeted me and offered wine and water. Malika’s style opinions were on point. She delightfully went back and forth getting me new things to try on. I had sent my preferences ahead of timeSo she had outfits lined up and I got several of them by the end. They also do free hemming, great for petites. Their clothes are a bit pricey but beautifully constructed. I also asked for machine washables so she tailored my experience around that too. Love MM LaFleur!
Outstanding service. The appointment is worthwhile, and they make it fun. I also prefer having them send the clothing to me, so I dont have to carry it home on the Metro.
Ordered some items online with a discount. One item didnt fit so I returned it, but customer service would not let me keep the discount, because of how their system manages discounts, not because it was in any rules or restrictions. Overall, I was extremely unsatisfied by the response I received from their customer support. They were rude and disrespectful. Ill order from other brands in the future.
While I have a few dresses from MM LaFleur that I do enjoy, I can no longer support the company because of their elitist and unapologetic customer service. The most recent (and culminating) incident involved a return that I made. The return (totaling over $800) was never credited to my credit card. When I contacted MM LaFleurs customer service, their response was to provide me with a digital receipt of the return. After I reasserted that the refund never went through and provided my own digital support that it had not, they informed me there was nothing to be done on their end, and I should take the issue up with my credit card company.I am very frustrated that MM Lafleur made no attempt to resolve the issue and instead left me on my own to deal with it, offering only a hollow apology. As an extremely busy working woman, I am disappointed that a presumably high-end company selling very expensive products would offer such poor customer service.
Incredible service, beautiful clothing! I had a wardrobe emergency and the ladies at MM.LaFleur were able to acccomodate my walk-in (you usually have to book an appointment to meet with a stylist). We were able to find a few very smart and stylish work pieces for a business event that I had the next day. I have been eyeing MM LaFleur for months and am now sold on their quality and attention to detail.
I was returning a bento and my experience was not at all as described on the website: (1) I couldn’t get into the building because it was the weekend. I stood outside in the rain trying to call them on my phone because there was no telecom and no one was answering the phone; and (2) when someone finally sees me through the glass they never apologize despite me soaking wet, did not greet me with the Champaign as described on the site (didn’t even invite me to sit), just took the bento and went to check if I was good to leave (which I told her I was but she still needed to check). What a pity because I liked the bento box but defo not planning to go back there or use the online service again.
Great service, inviting decor, and unfussy stylists.
My wife finds excellent professional clothing here, and the customer service is outstanding. Note: appointment required.
High end store
Lives up to the hype.
