Very friendly, very helpful. AND was less expensive than some other places. They fixed my cracked phone screen; came to pick up the phone and drop it off at my place, texted me (on my computer) with accurate etas and communicated very well. Like many others, I rarely (maybe never) give one star reviews. And I try to be support small businesses whenever I can. But this is over the top poor customer service. This location is near my office. I purchased a 2 in 1 travel charger on 7/22/2019. The charger stopped working by 7/28/2019. Upon inspection, I saw that the cord had frayed apart. Clearly a defect and not user misuse (It was one week old). When I returned to work on 7/28/2019, there was a sign on the door that the business was closed until after 2:30pm. I could not wait and was unable to return until 8/1/2019. The employee working was unable to assist with an exchange, but offered to sell me a new cord (seriously they sell defective products and then offer to sell you a replacement?) The owner returned and refused to take any action or assistance. He claimed that I he had never seen this before (because folks likely dont return with sub-par goods), suggested that I caused the damage and that I was out of the 5 day window for exchanges/returns (note - they are closed Saturday and Sunday), so he would do nothing. Now I am left with putting the charges in dispute and dealing with the manufacturer directly. If this is the care he shows his business, I would not trust him with screen repair. Do business here at your own risk.

I left my phone out in the rain and it stopped charging :(. I called up another first that overpromised and were vague about what parts they did and didnt have in stock. After that i talked with gadget TLC and they walked me through the options while being transparent that water damage is unpredictable. I went for it, and fortunately now my phone is back good as new. They had great communication throughout. Hope to not need a phone repaired again, but if I you do, they are a great shop to work with.

I went to Gadget TLC to fix my iPhone6. Mike was very nice and professional and made the necessary tests. He concluded that the motherboard failed and that the best thing would be to buy a new phone. I appreciated his honesty and he did not charge me for the tests.I will definitely see him for any future repair. They are cool, honest and efficient!

Absolutely do not go here for screen protectors. Honestly, I wouldnt go here for anything! The guy who put my screen protector on my iPhone 7 seemed completely careless in his work. He put one on and it was messed up so he pulls it off and slaps it back on but realized it wasnt gonna work. He proceeds to put another one on, ok cool. Nope. He hands it to me and literally says, thats the best I can do right now. The edges werent perfect and he tries to blame Apple. What? I think, whatever, and leave. But as soon as I leave I notice there are like 7 tiny lint bubbles you can see when the screen is off. So, I go back and show him and ask if I can just get a new one to put on myself. He says the bubbles arent a big deal and since he already wasted another screen protector (his fault, remember!) he cant give me one for free but he can give me a discount. Sorry but thats not acceptable. If I put it on wrong thats one thing, but all the flaws were his fault. If you cant put a screen protector on perfectly maybe you shouldnt waste peoples time or money by offering it as a service!

Get it in writing. I had a witness with me when he quoted me a price. I came back two weeks later and he denied ever offering it, and quoted me double the price. Look at his yelp reviews. He cant game the system there.He also said that his cost of an item was double what it was. I checked with the manufacturer. And finally, he gets all these negative reviews and games the system by just replying with anything to keep the low rating out of his average. Look at all of the negative ratings, not the number of stars. He is not to be trusted. And he responds as though someone else waited on me, not him. Just not true.

Gadgets TLC repaired my phone in just one day. The service as so fast and Im really pleased with Michaels customer service. He was very pleasant and kept his word that it would be repaired the next day and it was. My phone looks brand new. I couldnt stand being without my phone but Gadgets got it back to me in no time. I will recommend Gadgets to all my friends.

I visited the LEnfant store for the first time today at 10:45. The store was not open although the posted hours were 10-6. A sign was on the door which stated the person would be back at 10:45 but no one was there. What a poor way to run a business. If a store cannot meet the posted hours I dont think I will be back.

The technician who repaired our company cell phones did an amazing job in a very short period of time. Gadget TLC arranged for one of their technicians to come to our building to fix the phones onsite. This was VERY convenient and the price was very reasonable. They are a professional company who provides excellent, high quality, speedy service. Will definitely use them again!!

This place was amazing! I was in Washington DC on vacation with my family, dropped my iphone and shattered the screen. It is in the basement of an office complex near some other small businesses and a food court. I dropped off the phone, grabbed lunch and when we were done with lunch, my phone was fixed! The staff was great and the price was pretty competitive ($89).

Thank you to these young folks, who were friendly and helpful the minute I walked to the shop, with first one question and then another. I really enjoyed their can -do attitude and will surely be back. Recommended !

Day started off tough--screen cracked this morning when I dropped it on the tile floor. Abhi and his technician provided same day service (within an hour) at a great price. That also have great accessories.

Wish I could just have my cracked screen again.My phone (iPhone 7+) is sometimes unusable because of the awful job done at Gadget TLC. I had a small crack in the corner, and figured I would get it repaired. They replaced the screen in about an hour, and it seemed fine at first. Later that afternoon I noticed it was difficult to text - you had to press the keys twice as hard and much slower for the phone to recognize your touch input. This also persisted when scrolling on webpages - sometimes the phone didn’t recognize a swipe.This issue has continued to this day. I wouldn’t trust them to fix my phone if it were free.

I got my iPad mini and iPhone 7 plus fixed here today. Service was great and they gave me a good price for both screen replacements. Definitely would recommend.

My iPhone 6plus has been craved for a year. I took my phone to several places with out any success. It wasnt just my cracked screen, but also the option detector was ruined. No one could fix it. I car to Gadget TLC in Lefeant Plaza in DC. And they fixed my phone in 15 min. Michael also threw in a screen protector for free and discounted a phone case!! Couldnt beat the deal. Met with Mike the guy who sits at the front. He said that the repair would take no more than 20 minutes. I had to wait in line as he helped others and when I was there for 15 minutes, he claimed it was only 5 . He was very rude and a waste of time. Had my Nexus 6p screen replaced here. It is a very intensive process and the entire phone must be disassemble but they managed to do it in about 2 hours and everything still works great!

I have a small tablet with a cracked screen. I went in to get an replacement screen estimate I was quoted $100. To confirm what I suspected I found that a brand new tablet is $109 on Amazon. I have no idea where they get their costs from, but its a serious rip off.

This is one star for the kindness of the staff. The missing four stars are for the following:1. Lack of technical knowledge. The repair person was not knowledgeable on the schematics, parts, removal, or repair of a HTC U11.2. Parts availability. Since the HTC U11 is not a common phone, and this particular store repairs mostly iPhones, my parts required extended waiting periods, were more expensive if OEM, and the repair person could not suggest the correct part(s) based on additional damage created by the repair person (see below).3. Scope. I came into the shop with a cracked screen. My phone operated perfectly outside of the cosmetic crack. I was notified that the fingerprint reader was damaged in the process of the screen removal. I had to wait an additional week to get the part and have it replaced. However, when I picked up my phone a second time, the microphone was not working so no one could hear me; if I placed the call on speaker, I couldnt hear them. I had to wait for that part to arrive and get replaced. Now my phone was becoming Frankensteined and still, inoperable.4. I drop the phone off in July 2018 to get the screen replaced again because it went black during my vacation and the phone wouldnt charge. Today is September 28th, 2018 and I just picked up my phone. The screen doesnt work, the phone heats up when charging, and Im down a phone.I cant say that my experience wasnt unpleasant, and surely, people would have dealt with this differently. However, be cognizant that these are not certified repair people, they are not an accredited service by Apple, HTC, or Samsung, and the likelihood of receiving faulty replacement parts is likely.**Update October 8th, 2018. Removed subjective statement regarding what customers ought to do with their phones. Uploaded image of text message from a representative of the shop describing their displeasure with my review. Never received a warranty review or any documentation. It is irrelevant how responsible a person is with their phone, a repair shops purpose is to repair, not provide introspective advice.**

As a driver for Uber i need my phone at all times so i have two. So, when my screens were cracked in my iPhone 5 & 5S i was in a total panic. I called atleast 5 other stores that were charging $80 and up for this service and they all wanted me to leave the phone with them for a few hours to a full day for them to fix it. I quickly saw most of the stores i went to were really just selling chargers & cases. After checking reviews, I came to Gadget TLC and they did a truly amazing job replacing my screen in about 15 mins as i stood by and watched. During the work they repaired extensive damage to my phone frame from me dropping it so the new screen fit tightly in it at no extra charge. These guys did it In minutes and the work was superb! They had top quality screens at the lowest price in No Va and DC that i could find. So i left my 2nd phone with them for repair as well. These guys are true technicians not just another IFixPhones store that you see all over the place. If you truly need specialized phone service or a simple repair, these guys should be the only shop you call.

I absolutely loved my experience at the Gadget TLC store in Lefant Plaza. They were fast, less expensive that quotes provided by competitors, and even went above and beyond by allowing me to pick up my device several minutes after store closing. In addition, I when I couldnt read the store policy for fixing my device since I didnt have my glasses, the store manager was patient and kind enough to read each section for me. I dont recall having a manager even care about me as the customer in such a way. Try out the Gadget store! You wont regret it!
