The girl working up front is rude and inconsiderate and has to realize not everybody who walks in a brake shop needing their brakes done is gullible or not mechanically inclined some of us work 70 hours a week and do not have the time to do a simple brake job and these guys who work in the shops have to realize it doesnt take that much knowledge or wisdom to do a brake job.. so Ill make this short and sweet, GO INTO THIS PLACE AND PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK BECAUSE THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $390 FOR BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS FOR A 2000 JEEP CHEROKEE I TOLD HIM TO PUT MY TIRES BACK ON WHICH TOOK THEM AN HOUR TO DO AND I LEFT PROCEEDED TO THE NEAREST AUTO PARTS STORE PURCHASED WHAT I NEEDED TO DO MY BRAKES WHICH COST APPROXIMATELY $140 AND SAVE MYSELF OVER $250

The mechanics are awesome, quick service and explained issue and what needed to be done. But the counter girl, while i was waiting for my car to get finished, was complaining about previous customers to a manager and no one wants to be in earshot of that, very unprofessional on her part

One of the few hidden gem mechanical shops. Plus theyre very reasonable and fair cost wise. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. This shop is outstanding: highly ethical, highly competant. I came in with a sound coming from my back left tire, it was some pebbles which they discovered inside the break hosuing.They sent me away with no charge.I had another repair for a new starter motor, they told me the final price up front and got it done ahead of schedule while I waited. Courteous staff; would absolutely recommend this shop.

Midas took care of my vehicle efficiently and treated me very well. I was helped by Al who was very straight to the point with what I needed, what they could do to help me, and even the price. Did not try to sell me anything I did not need and solved my problems within hours. Al made my experience very stress-free and made me feel like my business was appreciated.

Terrible experience! I brought my truck with stock tires from the factory to this location to swap them out for another set I had laying around. They damaged 1 tire and scratched all 4 wheels. This truck has only ever had rotations and oil changes from the dealer cause they were free with a NEW lease. I was told it was like that when I brought it in. They denied any responsibility and said it could have happened at the factory. Yea right a damaged tire from the factory. I even spoke with the owner and he said the same thing and even added to it. He said I was there to get something for free and that it was apparent. Then said it was my prerogative to call corporate. Do not bring your car there for anything. They cant take care of the most simple of jobs without damaging anything. I dont foresee this location being in business very long if they continue to do this kind of work and treat people the way they do.

Came to this Midas for an oil change. Ron was super friendly and helpful. Told him about the $20 off coupon they have on the Midas website and he applied it for me at checkout. The price is very reasonable. The total came down to half of what the other Midas (the one at Clinton township) quoted me. They also updated the service info on my carfax.Absolutely recommend this Midas.

Came in to get my oil changed. I was offered an amazing deal for a full synthetic oil change for my new Chevy Impala. While I waited me and Al had a really good convo about life and taking chances. A convo I needed to hear. Jason performed the oil change and after he was finished he let me know that all of my tires were low and he made sure that enough pressure was in them for my safety. I’m glad I came and received the service today

I wouldn’t trust these people to work on a tricycle. They had my truck for three weeks and I was so happy to get it back that I didn’t notice that they put in the wrong springs. The springs were at least two inches too big. They buckled and ruined the new shocks that they installed and probably caused the upper control arms to fail. When the upper control arms failed I carefully drove the truck to another shop nearby, I did not want to wait another three weeks. I went into the back of the shop to take a look at what needed to be done when they gave me the estimate. It was so obvious that the springs were wrong that I can only believe that they intentionally put in the wrong ones or are incompetent. With bad springs in hand I asked the owner for a refund for the wrong parts that they put in which I thought to be fair. I was not asking for the labor costs to be refunded, only the bad parts. It was very clear that I was just being blown off telling me that it could be six months before maybe a refund could happen.

I really enjoyed the personal service that I received from Al. The mechanic, Jason, was also very nice. I appreciate the great service that he provided. Miads has a longtime customer in myself. God bless you!

I have been to many different companies and these wonderful workers are the best that there is! They are very professional, polite, and always on time. Fast, courteous, and reasonably priced. Most people do not realize the difficulty and attention to detail that it takes to work on a car. They think they are at the fast food drive in window for instantaneous gratification when they go to an auto repair facility. I for one can appreciate the great work they do for a great price. I would recommend this shop to anybody.Yes it is busy at times but they truly are auto service experts.

My van started acting acting up, I couldn’t go over 40mph. Dropped it off at Midas, Sterling Heights Location, it was looked at and I was called with the problem promptly! Fuel injector, Shane had it done within the hour even checked out my headlight! Fast quality work, low price, trustworthy employees!!

Took my car up there with the the oil light on and check engine light on. They had my car for 6 weeks at witch time they said everything was repaired. One day after having it back my oil light comes back on . Take it back up there, they Supposley checked for leaks. They said there are no leaks and filled the oil. Get it home one week later oil light comes back on. Take it somewhere else. And was told I gave oil leak. So madis just want your money and does not fix problems. Do not go to that one.

About what youd expect from a chain auto shop. Management here is pretty good however, and Ive yet to have an issue with their technicians work. The lifetime brake pads are a great deal and a worthwhile investment. Other pricing does feel high at times, but they make every effort to get you the best deal possible.

I absolutely love this place. They have great technicians and great service. I bring my car in all the time and I have never had a problem with this business. This is the only place I actually feel comfortable taking my car to. I have read some of these bad reviews and honestly have never had any issues and it bewilders me on most of the comments. I hope this place stays here and is always under the same management.

I came in with a brake emergency while I was on vacation. The staff was extremely helpful! They were able to get me back on the road in a reasonable amount of time. This is a place that dont appreciate their customer. I came today for feedback on my exhaust and was told that I have other issues on the car which will cost around $830. I asked for the estimates and the list with detail on the cost since I have no money, but was not provided any and was told that my car is done and I need to go. Its a shame since I liked the owner and I paid $432 to fix my exhaust there and I was happy with the service before.I will never go back since this a rude way to treat your customer. Also, by law I should have the detail on what you want to fix and charge me unless you are trying to scam me (always remember karma).

I was recommended to come here by a friend of mine, and Im glad I followed that recommendation because they take care of their customers here. The atmosphere and the service is great, I know I can trust them to take care of my car and not take advantage of the fact that Im a woman.

This place is amazing. The owner Ron is probably the only honest mechanic I have ever encountered. The prices are very fair the service might be a tad slow but thats because they are very thorough. Many times I have them diagnose my car which required them to disassemble parts of the engine to see the problem it. When it was something I did not want to fix they put everything back together and didnt charge me. I have been going here for about 6 years. We bring all the family cars here and we have never been disappointed or felt ripped off.

They told me my air conditioner had a slow leak, they filled it up with some die and said they will be able to find the whole said to bring it back after the cool air stopped and the will fix, I was very impressed

I called and started asking questions and my questions were not answered but I was given the run around.

On 1-7-2020 I had my truck at this location for a new rack and pinion and an oil change. When I picked up my truck I notice my check gauges light was on and the oil pressure gauge was low pressure. I went back to the shop and told them. The manager told me his guy said it was like that when I brought it in. Which was false. The only two lights on the dash were the check engine light for a blown fuse and low fuel light. Aparently the tech broke it and they tried to cover it by saying that I must have broken it when I replaced the power steering pump which was done over three weeks before I brought it in. On 1-31-2020, I start my truck that morning and it dumps oil all over the driveway. I had my truck towed to a shop near me and they discovered that the oil filter was double gasket. The place I took to fixed the problem and made sure the engine wasnt damaged. The engine is still in good shape. I took the towing and work that was done by the other shop to this location to get reimbursed. The Manger only reimburses the oil change and tells me he has to send the tow bill up the chain and they will call me back. I doubt they will. So beware of this midas location and consider going elsewhere.

My husband needed brakes done - the works. At first, there seemed to be quite a bit of miscommunication on pricing, but John, a manager, was very patient through the frustrations and sounded very professional in sorting things out. They did a great job on the brakes, and everything seems to have been figured out. They couldve been really ugly in an uncomfortable situation, but they werent. A little kindness, patience, and care makes a big difference!

Best Midas in Michigan, bar none. All of their technicians are certified master mechanics, and they know what they are doing, and it shows in their work. I took my car to 4 different shops for a misfire and they all told me my car just needed a tuneup. Upon replacing all spark plugs and coil packs on multiple occasion and still having the same issue, I took it to Midas Warren and they found out that same day that I had low compression in one of my cylinders, and quoted me for the repair right then. The only downside is they get a little busy sometimes, but that just shows that many people trust to bring their car here for work. I won’t take any of my vehicles anywhere else!

Al Mobley said my car needed a battery. Told me he would replace with interstate or OEM battery (for my 2014 Ford Fusion). He instead installed an A/C Delco (GM) battery much cheaper than other batteries and charged me $300 for this junk battery. Took car to Ford and they said they have dealt with this guy and he is bad business. Do not use this Midas.

I got the worse treatment at this particular shop. i drove my car in to get an estimate on what it would cost to have my brakes repaired ( i wanted to compare prices) i decided to get another estimate and was told ok but this price is the most reasonable around. the owner Mr. Ranoni stated he would put my car back together and i could be on my way. Then this happened his employee damaged my car and would not take responsibility for the damage/crash. Needless to say i had to have my car towed away. The owner was very unhelpful i brought my car in one way and i left with my car in worse condition than when i came. There was no offer of restitution from this owner. Im very disappointed at how i was treated at this shop. My only mistake was trusting these people to at least return my car in the condition in which i brought it to them. I would not recommend this shop to anyone ever. Terrible, terrible customer service.

I came at 1pm and was its packed right now. If I come at 3 I will be fine. I came at 3. I was told oil change and alignment will take 1 hour. After almost 2 and half hours I started walking inside store and tried to sneak at my car. Then guy came and told me we are about to start alignment now. Its gonna be another 20 mins. 😡 and its cold sitting in the waiting area. No good heating system.

They will lie to you...over charge you..and the owner is a lil shady guy who doesnt know his job or anything about customer satisfaction..warning save your money trucks still broke after spending over $2,000 there.

Piss poor service...Their wait time is ridiculous...if u ever get a chance to schedule an appointment for anything (always busy is their excuse). I recently purchased a used vehicle and did not have it for a entire day and it breaks down, I already stated I heard loud squeaking noise from the brakes. Who ever did the inspection did not realize the hub bearing was not on properly. Had that fixed the next day (took my entire day off to get resolved). I finally get the car back and still hear the noise. I take it back and they state it mustve been a manufacturer defect. It took them an hour to realize the issue and another hour to replace the brakes. His excuse was that brakes take a lomg time to do. I personally has dontlw brakes on my vehicles and does not take 2 hours to complete. Dissatisfied with this company entirely after everything and wouldnt recommend to ANYONE EVER. My vehicle parts are warranted through them, and if this is the type of service I have to deal with, I rather return the car and not deal with it at all. You have been warned....good luck

Went in for a new muffler to be installed on my 2011 silverado, and after the repair I noticed my 3rd brake light was damaged and the roof just above the brake light had a dent in the roof, I saw the guy who wrote up my truck put the old muffler in the bed of my truck, but was struggling because of the awkward size and heavy weight, they denied all damages and said that it was done before the truck was in here. They refuse to pay for any damages and told me they will do nothing about it. Moving onto the evaluation of the damage, the manager named mark, picked the muffler up from the bed of the truck and then dropped it back in the bed hitting my bed rail. After telling him to get off of my truck and to not touch any part of my truck again, he got defensive and told me that there will be no further actions. Ive called multiple times to reach out to the shop owner and mark said he doesnt come out to the shop at all and to contact him through email. I emailed corporate about this issue and I am still waiting on a response. Do not bring your vehicle to any midas shop as they are all franchise owned and will do anything from losing money on a repair. Make sure to take pictures of your truck before and after any repair you take to them.

Probably the worst experience I ever had at a Midas. Went in for a slight vibration, they told me it would be done wensday afternoon, that turned into Thursday morning and then that turned into 1:50 pm. But after all that my slight vibration turned into an unbearable car rattling shake once i hit 30 mph. Does anyone here car about their job performance?

Worse place to take your car for engine work or engine light warning. Took my car in for a evg valve warning witch they had replaced before they told me it was a bad part and then replaced it again. One day later same problem and was told I had to give my car up for a day to run some test on it. Funny thing is the test what needs to be done is a code reader and a vacuum test all what takes is under a hour. They are not a place to bring your car into for anything under the hood. Its a brake shop not a engine shop. Wouldnt of taken it here if it wasnt under warranty.

Figured id stop in about a year & a half or so ago & have been going here every time my 1990 Chevy Silverado needs some work. Every thing they have fixed has been perfect so far. The truck drives better now then it ever has since I got it. They also can work with you if have bank account & are short on cash to fix your vehicle. Ask inside. Very nice option if in a pinch.Just had my brake redone completely front & back & figured I go in to have my u-joints done 9/27th on my driveshaft. They did them fine but had bent my rear drive shaft by accident so they replaced it out of there pocket. Had to wait a month since the part was hard to find but everything was like new after it was all put back together.

Knowing that I was going for an oil change today I didnt bother filling my windshield washer solvent this weekend. The Midas shop did not top off all fluids and did not refill my windshield washer solvent.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT PEACE.

Always tell you upfront what wrong with your car

My rare wheel started to make noise and visited the shop for an inspection/quotation. I was told that I needed replacement of two pairs of drums, pads, wheel cylinders, liners plus complete flushing of the brake oil for $450. When I came home and reinspected the rare wheels, it was only dusts that made the noise. The pads and drums were good (compared to the new parts I bought) and did not require replacing. It was only the wheel cylinders ($10 for each on Autozone) that needed to be replaced. Their pricing on the parts are x4 expensive as the Autozones and plus additional $100/hr labor charge. Very deceptive and not to trust them.

Customer service is really bad...they dont care about customer.they just wasting your time nothing else.never dropped off your car they just wasting your time.very unprofessional.they recommended me for change some parts in my car for my check engine and vsc light turn on and flashing, i told them let me know as soon as possible i have to fix my car give me estimate after that they said they will give me within 3-4 days but still 1 week over they didnt let me know anything.today i went to their store one guy who works there he said no i cannot give you estimate, but i was waiting for estimate from last one week.he was really unprofessional.

5 days for a head gasket replacement. This place is trash. I hope a meteor strikes it and erases from the earth.
