My only hope is that this review reaches someone else buying a preowned vehicle at this store before they make the same mistake that I did. This dealership does not stand behind their vehicles or perform proper safety inspections prior to selling (DMV enforcement will be involved). We purchased a 40K preowned GMC Yukon around September 1st, due to our schedule they delivered the vehicle to our house to sign the paperwork. Upon visual inspection the interior was disgusting so I called the manager Jesse and salesman Chris they assured me they would get it cleaned when I had time to bring it in which I agreed would be fine. The following day we noticed the idle was rough and there was a light for the parking sensors which I contacted to let know about these issues. Fast forward I bring the vehicle in and they have it cleaned (it was still pretty dirty but I just write that off as not having the best detail department), diagnose the park assist as needed a new senator, and tell me they couldn’t see an issue with the idle. We agree to bring it back once the sensor is painted and ready to install, about a week later the Check Engine light comes on so I let them know at which point they start reminding me that the vehicle doesn’t have a warranty (it hasn’t even been 30 days) after some back and forth they agree to check it out. They diagnose it to be exactly what I said the day after purchase (rough idle) and their suggestion was that maybe I was using wrong fuel or it could possibly need spark plugs. (no actual solution) I’ve worked at multiple dealerships and would have never strayed away from one of the ones that I know stand behind their products, there’s most likely a reason there’s no name attached to the dealership as I wouldn’t want to be held accountable for this type of customer service either. I’ll add that we had to bring another vehicle to drive while the vehicle was being diagnosed because they said they wouldn’t offer a loaner vehicle. Other issues with the vehicle A/C stopped blowing cold, front brakes need to be replaced, and tail light is out all before making the 1st payment. If you care about the safety of your family DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE!!!

I just want to say how professional the service staff was, especially Trevor and Bill!!! I had my vehicle there for 2 1/2 weeks for a complete new engine. They were professional, courteous, and more then accommodating. I could not be more pleased with their customer service, their efficiency to get back to me in a timely manner, knowledge, and their upfront, no hassle, truthfulness. I have never experienced this kind of exceptional service at a dealership! They are, stand alone, the most down to earth, personable men I could come in contact with at a dealership. I hope I don’t have to come back for any service, but if I do, hands down these two men (and the technician who worked on my truck) are the most polite, honest, and diligent men! Thank you for putting up with my constant phone calls and questions!

I cannot say enough about Bill and Trevor from the service department. Every time I bring my 2008 dodge ram 1500 in for service, they are quick to diagnose and fix any problems or concerns that I might have. They help me find coupons to save on the costs and are quick turn around on major repairs. They are both honest and upfront and will take time to explain anything needed. They have a customer for life.

Came in for a different vehicle but fell in love with the new Ram 1500 best truck I’ve ever driven! Salesperson Clay was FANTASTIC, very professional and courteous. He really knows a lot about the Ram trucks. We had a deal done quickly and he even drove my rental back for me so I could drive home in my new ride! I highly recommend Clay and this dealership.

I have dealt with Wake Forest Dodge RAM for sometime from the purchase of my current vehicle and many services. It felt like my salesperson was my coach and the manager the opposition. I showed up to Wake Forest Dodge RAM with no appointment due to some issues with the software online. However, Trevor was able to get me situated and told me upfront it could take up to two hours to get out of there for a simple oil change. I decided to roll the dice and within 45 minutes I was out of there! Can’t say enough for the great professional service. 100% recommend bribing your dodges there. My go to spot for my baby Raven (RAM Rebel).

I usually have a great experience at Westgate Wake Forest. The service dept was great! I was waiting in the waiting me along, there where several employees that came through, no good morning how are you nothing. Customer service is really getting slack. (That’s Everywhere) There was one gentleman that spoke. If I did not say anything they didn’t. I also have OIL CHANGE FOR LIFE, I’m not sure if topping off washer fluid is included, because mine was not filled my light was on. I would think it would be included. That’s just my opinion. I hope things will change, I’m still a paying customer and due to buy new truck in the near future.

Ive had good and bad experiences with them its been times where Ive waited 2 1/2 hrs for an oil change with a scheduled appointment. There been times where my car parts were missing after completion of my work example: washer fluid cap, tire air cap, and pieces of my trunk when my battery was changed. The staff was nice but not actually seeing my car being worked on and just hoping for the best is what makes me nervous.

I dont remember the parts manager and associate names but they had their A++ game on today. They were extremely busy but squeezed me in for a new battery. They estimated about what was supposed to be an hour due to their schedule but only to 10-15 minutes. There was another customer there about to start a work conference meeting and they had to wait for him. We were extremely satisfied with the professionalism that they had today

They are awesome. Got my truck serviced in a snap. Met the men in both the body shop & the detailing shop, they are great service men too. Had a question about some tree sap & they answered it in the detail shop.Had a question about a small dent, Drew in the body shop answered it.The service men were awesome getting my truck inspected in a flash.And as always- the salesmen were on top for my questions about that nice 2021 maroon Ram I have my eye on. Now to talk my hubby into my NEW RIDE so Mr Roberts can get me in it !!

I went here sat afternoon 8/21/21 to look at a truck and was greeted by a nice enough salesman. He was helpful. The experience took a turn for the worst when dealing with the sales manager. He was extremely arrogant and judgmental. I was made to feel like I wasn’t good enough to look at the truck I wanted to see and I didn’t have enough money to buy it. Very rude man and tried his best to make the experience harder and more complicated than it had to be. I will never go to this establishment again.and will be buying my truck with another dealership that appreciates my business. These guys need to reevaluate their sales management team.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with supreme customer service! The manager Carl Goode was attentive and thoroughly explained all details every time he spoke with me. Fayjohn Lopez was also very attentive, knowledgeable and did not pressure me. He listened to my needs and wants reminding me of discussions with my adult son. The comfort and authentic space made me more confident about my decisions. I would recommend them to my son and if I would recommend them to him then I surely would recommend them to anyone. This service center has changed from Leith to Wake Forest Dodge RAM. The service that I was used to receiving has changed. It seems so impersonal now. Leith was a lot more informative and Wake Forest Dodge RAM was vague with me concerning my service. I think I will find another Leith dealer to have my van serviced, even though it is farther away.

Made an appointment to have oil changed and license inspection done on my 2012 jeep. At the time of the appointment I checked to make sure my prepaid oil change was still valid. I was told I had one more valid oil change. Brought my Jeep in at the appointed time and told the rep there if it wasn’t done by 5:00pm I would have to pick it up the following morning. The next morning I did not receive any notification that my car was ready. I called and talked to Justin - the oil change was done but they were unaware I wanted the inspection done and furthermore I was told my front brakes had failed. Justin told me he would call me back in 20 minutes to see if they could do the inspection. He never called - I called back after 2 hours and had to leave messages because no one was there to pick up the phone. Finally I got through to Justin - no inspection done. I told him I would pay for what had been and get my car - I would have the inspection done elsewhere. I was told I had to pay $52.00 for the oil change. I explained that I had prepaid oil changes and that I had one more left. Justin looked it up on my account. He said I had purchased the oil changes on July 16, 2019 - the anniversary date of when I made the appointment. I felt because I was told by their representative that yes I had one more oil change that would be honored. Since the oil was changed on July 19th Justin said in no way could he honor that and I would have to pay full price for the oil change. In order to get my car back I paid the $52.00. I took my Jeep to another repair shop - it passed inspection - and the brakes checked out still 20% - not failed - but I had them replaced I will never bring any of my cars to West Gate dodge jeep Chrysler again. I found them disrespectful and dishonest.

Hello I would like to take a moment to share my experience at Westgate Service Department in Wake Forest. I took my truck there for an oil change and for them to update my radio. Because I was paying for the uconnect service but it wouldn’t work due to an upgrade. I explained to the tech the uconnect app and how it works for my truck and he stated to me that he’s never heard of or seen a uconnect app. He said that he drives a Ford and it uses a different app. I dropped my truck off on a Monday and after having to go through the sales department to get a call through to the service department, I finally got my truck back on Friday. They then told me that I needed a new radio. They told me that they had to order the radio and it would take approximately 3 weeks and that they would call me when it came in. I waited 3 weeks and didn’t hear anything back from them so I called and inquired about the replacement radio. On that call they told me that the radio had come in the day before. Communication is low, and service is questionable. I also feel that there’s a issue with the person who sets up the appointments and the techs who repair the vehicles. It seems that they don’t completely respect each others role. I usually don’t leave reviews but google sent me this email and asked for my opinion.

They got my cars recalled parts fixed in 2 days. I dont particularly have any complaints other than the fact that on my only 2 days off, they didnt have the right technicians to fix my car. I understand this is very coincidental, so it didnt upset me. I do have appreciation for how kind the associates were!

Made an appointment for 15k service and to address several other issues. I was specifically given a time slot when the diesel guy was going to be available, b/c looking at a malfunctioning window or radio certainly requires a specialized knowledge of diesel engines... ok, no problem. However, the morning after dropping off the truck for service I received a call letting me know the diesel guy had multiple transmission rebuilds to complete before the end of the month (apparently a common issue on the Ram 2500) so he wouldnt be able to look into all the issues I was having, instead one of the express techs would just do my 15k service. 15k service was completed, and I now have a new appointment for 1 month away to address my additional issues. This would all be a minor inconvenience if we didnt live 45 minutes away from the dealership. Each trip requires 1.5 hours for the two of us the drop off and then another 1.5 hours for the two of us to pick the vehicle back up.

We took our van in to get the sliding door lock fixed. They said it was fixed and charged us $200. Got home ans check the door. Its still broken. It took 2 days for them to not fix it and we have car shield and they didnt bother calling them. Not happy with the service.

I would not recommend buying anything from here I bought a used truck from them at the beginning of the year an it has been nothing but problems for me. I have took my truck to them several times an all I keep getting from them is the run around or im being charged for a diagnosis that I already knew what the problem was an it being reason for me bringing it in.There service department is not worth a dang an the warranty they offer you for used trucks us junk. Needles to say I will never return there again for anything

I called and spoke with Bill about my window not letting up. He told me to come in an hour and he’d have someone look at it. When I got there, he and Braydon looked at it and got it to work! But Bill went above and beyond, looking more closely at the issue. He gave me direction as to why this happens as well as other tips about taking care of my car. He also fit in an oil change and tire rotation while I was there! Both Bill and Braydon are super friendly, professional and I have made their location my go-to dealership because, unlike the first one I called that I normally go to, they were willing to try and work me in right away today! Horrible service, waste of time. I brought my truck in for a burnt out drivers side mirror (heated mirror) and a/c did not get cold when temp outside gets hot (90+), they told me the a/c was blowing at 45 degrees and it’s fine (it was 75 outside). I told them to drive the truck and they will notice a difference between driving and sitting at a light. They said they did and couldn’t replicate the problem I sent it in for. I asked about the mirror and was told it’s in stock in Garner, and it’s not under warranty. When I picked up the truck, I went and got the keys and paperwork and was told the truck was parked outside. After going back in to ask where it was, the salesman goes into the shop and comes out 15 minutes later with my truck. Terrible place, wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The person that dealt with me directly was good, but the Detail manager was rude and had a poor attitude. He also eventually promised to vacuum my car, but only after I had to get fight for it, when the the original service manager promises to get it done when I called ahead of time. After it was returned to me, the trunk area had not been vacuumed at all.When I worked at Infinity, I drove 45 minutes to pick up a customers car simply to have it detailed, then we drove it back. It took a lot of time out of my day, but that was the level of service we provided for customers.I may be buying a new vehicle soon, and this experience will weigh heavily on whether or not I buy another Dodge or not.My vehicle costs as much as most Infinitys, and even though I dont expect the dealer to come get my car, I do expect a higher lever of service than was offered to me today, and I definitely expect a better attitude from detail manager, who is supposed to be setting an example.I gave Dodge 4 stars only because they fixed what I brought the car in for in a timely manner and the agent In dealt with directly was good.

Dealer agreed to do work on my vehicle before I bought it. Said they were going to make an “appointment”. Never answered the phones or returned my calls. Bring my car in for said “appointment” and they keep it for almost a week without doing anything to it. The proceed to tell me the paint won’t be there until next week. (Bumper needed to be repainted). You figure they would’ve ordered the paint when they made the “appointment”. Not to mention after picking my car up after it sitting for almost a week they had actually put about an inch and a half hole in my bumper. So rather than fixing it they actually damaged the vehicle. They made promises that they never kept or owned up to. It’s really sad that they operate like that. Terrible customer would never go back to this place ever again.

The experience of dealing with Ms. Hilda Parker was OUTSTANDING! She made the entire deal go. Without her, I would have walked away and not returned. The finance manager, Garland, was excellent to deal with also. But, the REAL STAR is most definitely Ms. Hilda Parker. She is an amazing woman and I would MOST definitely buy from her again! We will see how long it takes to fulfill the promises made.Update 2: I was told I would receive close to $1000 less for my trade because I wanted my used Michelin tires transferred to the truck I was purchasing which had brand new off brand tires. I asked 3 times for the black side of the tires to be facing out as most all trucks have now (including mine ant theirs before the switch). After 2 1/2 hours at dealership the truck was brought out “ready to go”. The white letters were out instead of the black wall. Once on the road the tires shake because of lack of balancing. Was told they would detail the new truck and fix the tires if I brought it back at a convenient time for the service department (not convenience for the customer). The truck also has a dealer tag on it since purchase that I’ve been driving around on for 6 days with no permit. Finally got a bill of sale when I called Mr. Garland who has been very helpful. I have not heard from the sales manager nor general manager even after requesting them to contact me. I am now taking the truck to my own mechanic to have the tires switched and balanced. I will be sending the bill to the dealership to pay. And I hope to get my TRANSFERRED tag soon so I can return their dealer tag and be done with them. I emailed the sales manager 4 days ago and have not received a response yet. Is the sales person and finance manager the only ones there you can count on and who care about their customers?Todd Greene

I took my Dodge Ram in for a recall and radio issues. The Uconnect would reset anytime it was hooked up to an iPhone or Android. They changed the oil and told me they were going to order a new radio, and that it would take a while for it to come in. Over the past few months I heard nothing and every time I called they said they would call back or have someone call me. Recently I called and they told me that I would have to pay around $1500 out of pocket because the vehicle is over the warranty mileage. Of course it’s out of warranty now because I’ve been driving the truck around for work for 3 months. They now ignore all calls. I can see other people have had the same issue with this service department.

The sales team was friendly, not pushy at all, and very honest. My only concern was presentation of their used vehicle. Walked in, unannounced, wanting to see a car that I saw online. The staff was eager to help. However, they scrambled/ were confused as to where the vehicle was at the time. I was told that the car was used for services/errand runs. It may or may not have been taken out of the lot for personal use. I was reassured that the dealership did not do demos. Eventually, the car was found and I was able to see it. Took them maybe thirty minutes to find it. The car was full of boxes of random stuff inside. I was told to come back tomorrow and that the car will be cleaned up and ready to test drive. Came back, drove it, and at first glance the car was great. After a second look, I had found that center console was not cleaned. I found traces of tobacco within the first and second compartment. I understand the boxes could not be helped, but I am questioning why there were traces of tobacco when I was reassured that car was tobacco free? As a person who was in sales before, I cant stress enough that product presentation builds/lessens value.

This owners response is a lie, only to lie to other innocent customers, they never responded to me. (Edited after two weeks)----------------------------------------------I purchased a challenger through Ms.Hilda in Jan 2021. There two lies she told. And I havent received my car key after 3 months since I paid for the car. The only thing Ms. Hilda cared about is pushing her customer to leave positive/extraordinary reviews, and thats why you guys can see those reviews here on Google. FAKE.(1) Paying for the wheel lock will lower my insurance rate. Its no true.(2) She didnt give me my 2nd car key and promised to give it to me in a week or two. Its been 3 months and she never replied back to me.Strongly not suggest anyone to buy any car at this store.

I took my 2020 dodge charger hellcat in for an oil and filter change. The mechanic spilled oil all over the engine and left the dipstick hanging about half way out. I discovered this after I drove 2 miles down the street to Sams club, went inside to buy a few things. I come back out, crank up my car and a puff of smoke comes billowing out from under the hood. I took it back to the dealership and the service manager comes out with a little flashlight to inspect and try to clean the mess up. All they could offer is, were so sorry and it wont happen again. I will never go here again and I suggest you dont either. This could have caused a fire or destroyed my engine or both if I had not caught this when I did.

I would put zero stars if it was an option. Absolute worst service department here and at the Raleigh location. Cant follow simple instructions on multiple occasions. As a former mechanic, Im appalled how of incompetent this industry has become. Sales is no better. I was there 7 hours to complete the purchase of a new vehicle. Westgate is a poor excuse for a dealership. I should have stuck with Ford.

We spoke with Nate about a vehicle that needed to be brought from a different store. We had an appointment set up. Showed up and the vehicle had been sold. After we drove an hour there to be told they didnt have what we came for you could imagine how angry we were. Couldnt even give us the common decency to let us know it had been sold before we made the trip.

Bought a 2020 Dodge Charger from then back in July of 2020. They were very unprofessional and tried to use covid as an excuse as to why they wouldn’t give me a good amount for my other car. They saw that my husband and I were young and the salesman definitely tried to take advantage of us. We walked out because they didn’t give us what we wanted. We had already been there for a couple hours. They then called us later that day and the only reason we went back is because they gave us what we wanted but they definitely were giving up rude looks the entire time. I will never be going back here.

Had been going to this location to get my oil changed as part of the westgate for life program (only place thats done my oil since I bought the truck). This most recent time I decided Id go back to changing my own oil as I had done on my previous vehicles. Well trying to get the oil plug off was practically impossible. Well after a breaker bar and blot extractor later the plug finally came out. Upon expecting said plug I noticed the threads were crushed in some spots like someone picked it up with vice grips. It amazes me that they would put a damaged plug back on anyones car especially on someones vehicle bought from them. I tried contacting the service department before writing this review but guess what 3 days later and still not contact from them.Save yourself the trouble and go to a local shop. My wife goes to a local mechanic and I was able to change her oil in a flash with 0 issues.

Was able to find a used Ram at a great price. Finalizing the sales process is where it all fell apart. Put the deposit down, gave all my info, everything was approved and salesman said it was ready just come back tmrw to sign and pickup. When I came back only the paperwork was ready,, once signed I was told to wait and theyd get the truck ready. 2 hours later and Im still waiting with a screaming toddler. Finally the key is turned over only to find out there is only a single key fab. Only time I have ever purchased a vehicle new or used and only been given a single key. Within a week of purchase the single key was already dying and shorting out to randomly unlock the doors if you are standing within range, resulting in having to immediately go out and have replacement keys made on a vehicle I just purchased. Would not recommend this place and will not be returning for any future vehicles.

The most terrible service I’ve ever received from any car dealership. I was not called for 5 days the first attempt to fix my air. I was charged $1891 and the issue was not fixed. I had to call for an update and Without a car for 5 days on the 3rd attempt to fix the same issue and it is still not fixed. As bad as I wanted a RAM next, I will never purchase another Dodge because of the horrible service I received at Westgate! At least call customers proactively with updates, issues and ETA’s. At most, refund customers for Mis-diagnosis or failed fix attempts.

Like everyone else on these reviews...if I could leave a 0 or -1 star I would. The service and parts department are in complete disarray, there’s no organization. Everyone is incompetent and no one has an answer for anything. There’s a reason you see so many negative reviews about them...I was optimistic and was proven wrong. If you decide to use them anyway as I did you will be proven wrong as well.

Please note; Westgate includes several dealerships. This review is specific to the wake forest, nc location.Bill in service was honest and did what was right for me. I came in for a state inspection and an oil change. I have Westgate for life, so my oil changes are free, as long as I use their service for other maintenance. The other Westgate dodge in west Raleigh made me pay for a tire rotation, even if my front tires were in better shape, or I would have to pay for the free oil change. (Seriously: I would have to pay them to take brand new tires off the front of a front wheel drive vehicle, and replace them with the old tires from the back!)Bill told me it didnt make sense to rotate the older tires to the front, so he didnt do it, and didnt charge me for anything except the inspection.I give Bill 5 stars, but I only give the dealer 3 stars, because when I went into the sales side and asked them to appraise my vehicle, they insisted I look at another vehicle, and tried (HARD) to pressure me into taking $3,000.00 less than what mine was worth, for a vehicle that was only 2 years newer. They wanted 23,900 for the vehicle I looked at. They obscured the fact that they were only giving me 4500 for my vehicle by adding my payoff back into the bottom line of the contract, and acted like they were doing me a favor by taking it off my hands. So, after taxes & fees, with over $4,000 equity, I would have come out owing over 24,000 on a vehicle that had an asking price of $23,900. Sure, they offered to negotiate after I said no, and thats when the pressure got really hot. Im not going to do business with someone who just tried to steal my car from me!Bill, thank you for giving me great service. Im sorry you work for a such jerks!
