We went for a birthday party. The staff was very helpful, patient, and quick with suggestions. I love that it is located on the corner with lots of natural light. There is an option to order pizza and deli sandwiches as well as drinks (non-alcoholic) and light snacks.

Second time in, this week alone. The kids loved it and we did too! Especially after hearing the membership options! Worth checking out, picture Lansharx on steroids..

The proprietors were very helpful and friendly at our first visit. They gave us a tour, showed us around, and helped us get started. You can buy a 2 hour pass, a day pass, or a monthly membership. My 7 year old granddaughter tried it out for 2 hours, and there were plenty of kid friendly games such as Roblox. Everyone was helpful and friendly.

Stopped in for a couple sandwiches. While they tasted great.......wheres the beef? Seriously for the price I would expect some meat. Barely any meat at all even after taking the meat off the other half and eating only half a sandwich. Skimpy....

An awesome, welcoming place to hang out and enjoy video games. The space is very open and you can see downtown Waco as you enjoy their numerous game systems as well as VR. I would highly recommend it. And on top, the management and employees are very nice.

When you first walk in its very welcoming a lot to see and a lot to do, the staff is very friendly and professional. After playing games for an hour or two got hungry so I ordered a sandwich and it was absolutely delicious super awesome that I didnt have to order out or leave to get food and with the size of the menu I know that every time I come back I can try something new. Definitely recommend anyone to come in I know Ill be back.

Its clean, its well staffed, it is a perfect place for gaming and fun! My only issue is that if you want to pay for the VR hour they charge per person but only have one VR station so you have to share. Why would I get charged per person if we all have to take turns on one unit?

Tonight was my first visit to Nexus l and I can say without a doubt that its a blast. The staff was very friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions. The environment was extremely welcoming and I never felt out of place there.If youre on the fence about checking this place out, then I highly recommend it!

This place is a really nice, customer friendly, high quality place! They hold local band concerts every now and again, which is totally cool! They have really good sandwhiches also and alot of different munchies to choose from! Oh and the prices?!? The BEST! Been going here for two years and still nothing to complain about 😊 highly recommend 🤙

So its Sunday afternoon and Im only writing a review because I have to say this is the first time Ive been here. My boys have and have always enjoyed it.I have to give it 5 stars because the 2 guys working here sure can multiply task. With 10 kids 5 adults coming at them at one time along with a birthday party and about 20 other kids playing on game systems the employees are doing great. Very kid friendly and they great with the kids. I have yet to hear one say hold on and put a kid off.Great place.

Lansharx is a top of the line gaming center! They hold parental restrictions with the utmost respect. Ben and his Wife are usually on site and very personable! They love to give back to their community. I would highly recommend them for birthday parties!

Uses dated, slow, or both PCs that they frequently swap around for no apparent reason, which is frustrating if you need a custom set up on a computer.Mostly horrible clientele, young children being dumped off and using this place as a cheap daycare. Staff seem to not know what to do with the screaming, inconsiderate, gross children.Most of the staff is very friendly but not too intrusive. One staff member who I know as Zach is never helpful, often rude, and even tries to scam you out of money. All other staff I encountered always helped me with a smile, meanwhile Zach acts like he always has something better to do and sighs before reluctantly agreeing to help you use a computer you pay a decent amount of money to use.

My son lives video games so I take him here to be amongst children his age and talk video games..lol. This is one of the only places I can drop my son off and feel safe, they keep a good eye on your child and they are very nice and attentive. You can also throw birthday parties here and the staff is very helpful and considerate.

First time I went I did have to move but I wasnt disappointed or nothing it was reserved for a party but I was fine I got a bag of chips turned around and noticed thats a lot of space up there enough for a projectors or even a small second floor for what I would say important people and ik its just an idea but you know but great service and all that but think about it even if its one of those ones where it is angled and your sitting back and you have projectors pointing up at the ceiling or something but great service and be coming soon again.

It was okay. The pc and equipment could be a little faster. My kids loved it❤❤❤

Good Place With Nice Staff and Good Food. But The company bought lansharx and Oasis. Both of which felt a lot nicer had more consoles cheaper rates and lock ins on the weekend I miss them.

Love taking my 12 year old here to play PS4, Xbox, Nintendo switch, and more. Food is pretty good as well.

Place is closed now, but when it was open it was THE best gaming center in waco. There have been multiple changes in staff, but there were always good chances. Large selection of games and lots of caffeine juice on tap.

The staff are a little weird and out there but its different and thats what Waco needs. The staff were nice and the did have tons of games on the xbox, PS4 & Pc. They even had virtual reality. I would have liked to feel not so lost. When I first got there I was a bit confused because a person who I still dont know if it was a Staff member or friend of the staff members started asking us questions. Other than that it was pretty cool. theyve got a ways to go but I will definitely be back.

Very open and friendly atmosphere in a beautiful building. They have plenty of PCs and consoles with most/all of the popular games loaded on them.They also have about 100 chairs at tables for tcgs and other games. Snackbar and deli also which is super convenient for those long gaming sessions.

Friendly owner and community. They have a membership so you dont have to pay for playing time. Good PC setups and a good group of people

The people are awesome! Best staff you could imagine. The computers run beautifully, tons of great tvs, the Internet is fiber optic so good luck finding lag! Ive been to a lot of LAN centers in big cities and I can say that LANSharx is one of the top LAN centers in Texas. Keep up the great work!

Where else can you find gaming, computers, and family friendly entertainment! Would bring my kids and myself. Spring for the membership it’s totally worth it! The owners are likely to be around and are the most amazing people! Becoming friends with such a family like owner whom runs a business with kids of all ages, is amazing! NOT A DAYCARE, but is great for parties, and more ! I dig that my kiddo and I can sit down pick up on almost any system or pc and get right into gameplay with such a huge game selection as well! If they don’t have it, they soon will! 5/5 love this place; and the owners!

TLDR: Casual MTG players beware; go elsewhere.Excellent facilities, poor customer service, poor product availability.I entered on a whim, looked around for a while, then asked about MTG games. I play MTGO/MTGA and was looking for local paper games of any format. The 1st person I talked to was very polite and directed me to the front desk where I was promptly made to feel unwelcomed and out of place. Probably best to buy & play at Kings Landing or Game Closet and only visit Nexus if they have special events not offered elsewhere.Also, used PCs from LANsharx? Wut?

Everytime i go to Nexus Esports its always been fun. Either Lock-In or cardgame tournament i always had fun. The staff is nice and friendly and will help out in a pinch. Highly recommend for any kid, parent, and teen during the summer to come by and cool off by playing some games with the homies.

Hottest new gaming place in town. They have quality computers and equipment, including an Oculus Rift full to bursting with VR games. They also have high stakes, $1000 tournaments for casual and serious gamers alike. The staff are fun and very knowledgeable and happy to help out. The owners are also stand-up people that sponsored the 2017 ExtraLife fundraiser at McLennan Community college and helped raise money for a local childrens hospital. Im always happy to invest in great stores that give back to their local communities
