My favorite Walmart in the Waco area. The layout for shopping is perfect for me. Love that they have some of my favorite Goya products.

It was awful. Only 2 live people checking and the end self check machines working, none of the others set up. Lights were on but needed a code. Typical Walmart, no one and nothing is working. Left after 40 min in one line 20 in the self check. Walmart in Hewitt by the railroad tracks

The staff of this store to a wonderful job! They are professional, kind, knowledgeable and very helpful. This is true whether inside of the store or taking advantage of their curb side pickup for groceries. In fact their curbside is the most efficient of any place weve been. Extremely well done, Walmart.

I went to the auto center to get my tire pressure checked and the employee said its self-service to my son so I got out of my car walked up to him so youre not going to check my tire pressure and he goes oh you need help. So I say yes I need help thats why I came to Walmart to get my tire pressure checked and he comes over and I said he didnt check to see what the PSI needed to be first secondly he goes I cant check the air pressure because I dont have one of those things on the end of my hose but this is the auto center he could have gotten it from the auto department so in other words this was a waste of trip and a poor customer service.

Where are the associates? On their cellphones, hiding in unseen areas not assisting customers!I need an more enthusiastic store…

O dont usually shop at this Walmart but my granddaughter was due a McDonalds lunch and the Walmart was pretty empty. Very well laid out inside and the employees were all busy with stocking but every one we went to foot assistance was friendly, went out of their way to help us. We enjoyed our shopping and the savings were good also.

The ladies in the pharmacy are always so helpful and nice. I use both Woodway and Hewitt ones. And both are just as good as the other

One lane open on a Saturday is absolutely ridiculous...but that has been the norm for awhile. Why have 2 self serve with a conveyor belt for larger purchases if you will not open them up? Wal-Mart, just so you know, no-one wants to stand in line for an hour, unless there is an awesome ride at the end. If you can pay someone to stand at the entrance ans say hi and bye...you can pay someone to check people out

Was in and out fast. Loved it! Had a real cashier! It was so great!

Only 2 lanes open and each is 6+ people deep. Store is also low on many items on shelves. Need better customer service in line fo more than 20 minutes and still 3 people out.

If I hadn’t needed a bike inner tube I wouldn’t have shopped here or any Walmart for that matter, especially when there’s an H‑E‑B very close by. A sad experience as usual but this time I got to be personally supervised by an employee while scanning my own items. She literally watched me scan and bag every item like I was a known criminal. This company has really made me regret shopping there after each visit. The only reason for two stars is the sporting goods lady (ammo) was very nice and got to the counter quickly (which is very unusual). They had a single type of a single brand of 22. Win silver tip. 3 box limit.

The store is very clean and organized. I wish finding help were easier for when I couldnt find certain products.

They arent checking their dates on expired stuff....I bought a bag of jerky that was solid white with mold when I opened it. I looked at the date and it expired over a year and a half ago...thats a long time to not be checking dates on food. Another reason I dont grocery shop at Wal-Mart.

It was close to closing time and I went thru the check and go but realized I left my wallet in my vehicle. A sweet girl, Alicia, had assisted me and I explained to her I needed to go get my wallet and she said she would watch the register. Along came Anna who snapped at me that there were other people waiting to check out...I explained it to her and told her I would be right back...I was gone 2 minutes and when I got back, Anna had canceled my order and made Alicia re-ring every item. If Anna had minded her own business, I could have been to the truck and back in the time it took for me to explain my needs to Anna.

WalMart is WalMart but this store seems to almost always be hot. Its by my house its the most convenient but I want to leave 10 min after Im there. Its a miserable experience

Not receiving a great deal of customers, but still a nice place. Employees are the friendliest of the Walmarts in Waco area.

Just ran in, with a friend, who came for one thing. Well, cut to us, nearly an hour later, finally heading towards the front as, Wal-Marts Marketing Mind Control Techniques, true to form, set us free with 9 things she wasnt there for. As well as running a lil behind. So it is a typical Walmart. Still felt okay going during the ongoing pandemic still raging across the globe. So THATs good.

Had a flat spare after my tire blew on the highway they fixed my tire and my spare and got me on my way quickly. They were nice gentlemen.

Ever start car battery are defective. Ive been without my car for a week because they have none in stock due to everybody in Waco having to replace their Everstart battery. I called Corporate office..

I always find too much when I shop here! They always have new items that catch my attention.

This place has everything in the store and even more online.

Now that 100% occupancy is allowed back it is time to open ALL the doors. You are forcing twice the people through half the doors. Even without COVID this is just forcing more exposure than necessary. OPEN ALL THE DOORS.

This is texas and they sell everything in one location.Small businesses have all been driven to bankruptcy by the deep pockets of the company store.

It was pretty confusing to find. They didnt have much of selection at all of self care other than kid options.

I visted the one in hewit laided out differently but still able to find things. The produce i enjoyed because it was lighted different les bright lights but enjoyable . liked the store..

Hello. This is not a real Walmart. They don’t follow Walmart policy on no receipt returns. Store manager Richard, (which I don’t believe was a store manager, but said he was one) said that they don’t do no receipt returns at all because of COVID-19 complications, which I didn’t understand because one of the people in my Walmart online community reported that when he went in to return with no receipt, they told him they couldn’t return his items because he reached the limit amount they could do without a receipt. When asked how much is the limit amount, they said it’s a secret. Very shady practices going on at this particular Walmart. I’d shop at a different Walmart.

It is convenient and typically has what I need. It is an older store and shows it’s age.

Easy in and out. Facilities in great shape. I used the pharmacy which had great staff and quick service.

Generally well-stocked and a clean environment. Staff is definitely always busy so getting help requires some degree of patience. The app is more helpful to navigate the store.

Low prices on just about everything. However lower customer service comes along with it.

I would give it more stars but there never enough working cashiers and when you do wait in line expect 15 min wait some of the employees are respectful and some just have bad attitude

Its ok place sometimes people dont know exactly where stuff is but I dont blame them Walmart is also changing inside appearance. Still love coming to Walmart is always have what Im looking for.

Perfect direction to the one I wanted

Walmart has pretty much everything you could need for anything. Although they have low prices on most things the groceries they sell are more expinsive than some places. They always keep everything in the same spot which is convenient.

I actually dont like going to Walmart, but sometimes I have to. This is the nicest Walmart in town.

This place was okay. It was not a great bargain for the money they charged and for the okay-but-not-outstanding meal. Not that it was not tasty; the food tasted fine. It just was overpriced. The atmosphere was a little dark, not immaculate.Nothing remarkable.

Finally discovered something they Dont stock in store. Optical medication dispensing aids.

Pickup was a little confusing today. Must have different pickup hours than what was stated in email.

Best walmart in hewitt. Food is good not moldy or old like sun Valley. Pharmacy Is much friendlier, always clean! Who ever the manager is has a good crew. Alot alot better than sun valley walmart.

I love Walmart. Its my favorite place to shop and today I met the very nicest employee I have ever met there. I wish I knew his name. He was very nice and helpful.

Overall, good store. Only problem: woefully understaffed. Only one check stand open besides self-check. Waited close to 25 minutes to be served. Also, never any twist ties in produce dept.

The sign said close at 11pm but yet the close the doors at 10:50pm and will not allow you in even if you need 1 item for an emergency never will I give this store my business again all because my mother needed her test strips for her sugar and I even offered for someone to grab it for me or to follow me in and out of the store but sense all cashiers get off at 11pm they dont care about the customer either change the sign to say at 10:50pm or let people in till 10:59pm

Hillsboro walmart is one we go to alot I just wish they had a better variety of clothes.

If you go there look up the sandy hair blond that works in mens clothing area. She will help you out very nicely at the dressing room. She calls it the holiday treat.

Clean very quiet Walmart. Plenty of stock for everything. Staff is friendly. Self checkout was closed.Customer Service- temp ran out of money orders. Great store.

Great curbside pickup. Really convenient- orders are ready to go when you arrive. I had 1 item on my order that was sold out. They let me know, told me what similar items were in stock and went back in to get a substitute. Awesome!

Website said certain items in stock but shelf was empty when I arrived. Not a good experience.

Wal Mart continues its downward slide in quality and customer service. One of their stores overcharged us for a big box item, and when we showed them the proof of that at another WM that carried that same item, they refused to honor the price of the other Wal Mart and refund the overcharge because it had been more than ONE DAY since the purchase was made. Seriously?SMH....

4 registers open,waited 10 min in 1st one,then said closing so moved over to next 1 and then said it was closing after 20 min,so had to go to other end and waited another 20 minutes to check out,only 2 registers open on busiest day of weekend. I was very disappointed and wont go back to this Walmart and dont recommend because they were rude when I asked if they were going to open more registers and she turned around and said nothing. Terrible customer service. Do not shop here. I had a question about what time a department closes and instead of a simple answer I got sassy come backs and remarks from the customer service representative. H-E-B has earned a new customer.

Frozen foods alot of stuff was opened in this area be careful what you purchase.

Always easy to order on line and pick up. Personnel are always kind...the reason for 4 stars is when an order is placed on line the nite before or day of the item will show in stock..but many times when you pick up your order it shows out of stock..it would seem that these online orders should be pulled first and on hold to prevent this...and also would live to be able to use manuf coupons.

Dont post on your doors and on Google Maps that you close at 11pm if you deny customers entering before closing time. Post it as 10:50pm instead if thats how youre going to treat customers.I was going to buy 3 items, and I knew where they were in the store. It wasnt going to be that complicated.EDIT: I was there before 11:00pm and I would have walked through the entrance before 11:00pm. At worst, it may have taken me until 11:15pm ish to gather all of my items and go to the cash register. Whats next? Physically forcing customers out of the store because their shopping has not concluded at or before 11:00pm?

I love going to the Hewitt Walmart because It’s a clean store! Very organized. The stockers seem to know their store very well. Some of the front end cashiers & customer service women are not as friendly. There are a few of ladies up in the front who really send off that “I don’t want to work here & deal with customers” vibe. We all know that vibe! Just uncomfortable and unfriendly the way they cut their eyes at you or respond to simple questions. Like they’re annoyed with you. Anyways, you get my point. I’d love to rate it 5stars! Hope to do that in the near future.
