THEY DO NOT CREDIT REPORT, I have had my car since July 2020. I have an old coworker who works at the corporate office and she said all upper management does it give them the runaround. DO NOT BUY a car from them, you can find a cheaper one somewhere else anyway😁

Our appointment was set at 11 am on thursday the 16th we drove from corsicana we get there and under 2 hours getting all the necessary info documents signed we got in our new vehicle, no hassle fast easy Lebron was very attentive his boss was cool very welcoming to out situation and helped us with an affordable deal. You get treated with respect they dont look down on you just be honest with them and they will be honest with you the cars are really dependable my car is only at 99,000 mark low miles.

Thieves and/or do business with thieves. When I brought my car in for a new battery, either the employees here or at the shop they took it to stole a raw amethyst out of my car and air pods. Absolutely disgusting.

I have had my car for a WHOLE year in July, and they have still not reported to any of the 3 credit bureaus. Every time I ask they blame it on moving offices. I have worked in a credit reporting office, I know what it is like to move offices. And I know there can be a wait period, but 12 months is crazy. But I bet if I was late on payments/repoed yall would report real quick. 10/10 would not go here, I am also upside down on my car :) It is not even worth close to what I owe, dont buy cars from people who take your money right off the bat! I have also tried to report them to the BBB but they arent even associated with them, which is also a red flag./// update to the response, I bought my car in 2020 it doesn’t take a year to get a new system. I work in a credit reporting office😌 and it still isn’t on any of the 3 credit reposts.✌🏼

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! In December of 2019 I started making payments on a vehicle. I chose Public because they said they would report my info on payments to the credit bureaus.I have made my payments on time, and for the first few months, they did report it.And then they stopped reporting my payment info, and now my credit shows the account as closed without being paid. As a result, my credit score dropped over 20 points.I reached out to them 3 months ago when I noticed it. I was told they were working on it. 3 months later I am told we have new computer system, and we dont want to report the wrong info.Well not reporting is the wrong info. And after 8 months a new computer system isnt new.Dont make mistake buy from someone else.

Devin helped me out today he was awesome got me into a car with the minimum down payment. But ive had issues w/ the car since ive gotten it and their warranty barely covers anything. They literally tried to make me tow my own car to them to get it fixed and said it would not be covered. Ive paid for a new battery alternator and now my starter relay is going out. This is not a place for a new car expect to it to be a fixer upper.

I loved the salesman Danny. He was helpful, very kind and polite. I was planning on returning to probably purchase the SUV Danny showed us BUT after his manager got in the way I DONT PLAN on going back there EVER! He was trying to pressure me into buying when I told him NO in all the most respectful way I could. He was acting like because he was trying to make me think I was getting a DEAL I was going to change my mind. I told him NO for the last time and walked out. They started calling me and I blocked the number. Treat paying customers right and your business will bloom.

I tried to call and get a price for a truck they had, she told me I would have to come in and talk with someone. I then explained I was paying cash for whatever I bought and just wanted to know the price bc I didn’t want to waste my time or theirs. Told me I would still need to come in. I asked if they were willing to lose a sale by not giving me the price over the phone? She took my info and said she would call me back. That was 3days ago. Apparently they aren’t interested in selling vehicles.

The whole crew at public was very awesome and worked with me to get me in my new to me car. The salesman, Hunter, was exceptionally nice and went over all the different options that were available to me. Good car buying experience.

Started out buying a vehicle from a location in my hometown called Pacco auto sales with no problems. Traded in for another car from the same place and everything was great until public took over the dealership that is..terrible customer service and harassing phone calls. Then the location in my hometown closes down and I have to deal with making payments through another location 30 miles away. Still terrible customer service and harassing phone calls. Paid them off a few months ago and have no plans on ever going through them again.

Very unprofessional. Not sure of the guys name but big and black with a horrible attitude. Hes the are mgr. I asked him how to file a complaint against him and he stated I can do it online but it will just come to him. Horrible company with no way to complain about horrible service. Also very annoying, had I known it was really PAACO disguised or that they were unprofessional I wouldnt have conducted any type of businy when them.

Got a car from them, was first showed a car that I was interested in and salesmen wasn’t aware that the car was already sold. He made up for it by giving me which seemed to be a better car. Told them from the get go that I traveled a lot, got my car made one trip and have had car trouble since then. So much for warranty? Called the dealership, dealership said I had warranty and to call the warranty number, people with warranty says no warranty on record. It’s going to cost me 5,000 plus service charges to get the car fixed... they also tell you that if you’re ever late or behind they have ways of shutting the car off. Which is a total lie just to scare you into making payments on time. Always had a high respect for them until problems starting occurring from a few rude staff members to following issues. Also says that it’s not reported to credit but shows up perfectly clear on my credit. The price I’m paying for the car, I could be paying for a brand new one as I’m being charged that much. Please save yourself the trouble and go else where. 400/500 is nothing compared to what you would be getting yourself into with them! That’s how they real you in. Best bet is saving up a lump sum and go some place else!! Also fails to tell you what really has happened to the vehicles as mine was clearly wrecked on the drivers side because the doors don’t work properly. They should take care of their customers a little better.

Well, the first car I looked at I drove it. Pretty nice. So, come to find out it was already sold. Ok. So I checked this blue one out. First the car smelled like pepperoni pizza. Its like the driver borrowed the car to deliver the pizza. Then the car died when I I turned it on. It was a weird experience.

We bought a 2009 Jeep Liberty (with barely 50,000 miles on it) here approximately 3 months ago and has been nothing but trouble since then. Public knew before leaving the lot that the A/C and heat was not working and that it would be fixed immediately. They first tell us to take it to one shop, took it there, stayed a few days and no work was done. Then they tell us to bring it to Danny’s Automotive so did as they said, again, it sat there a week again and no work was done because they were “backed up.” They then told us we could get the car just don’t use the A/C or heat until it could be fixed so got the car, drove it less than a week (did NOT even attempt to use the A/C or heat as instructed) and the car began running hot. Was instructed by Public to return it to Danny’s Automotive which we did. As of today the car has been there for 31 days and it still is not ready. Have spoken to both the shop and Public several times a week during this 31 days and get the run around with lie after lie. Every few days we are told “it will be ready tomorrow.” And each “tomorrow” turns into weeks. I have spoken multiple times with Austin and Brittany at Public whom says they are the managers for the dealership and they are no help and have no answers. Mind you, I pay over $600/month on this vehicle and have paid every single note and have had the vehicle in my position a total of 3 weeks since we bought it. Today my daughter along with her father-in-law goes to Danny’s Automotive and was told THEIR mechanic has “messed something up” and have to take everything apart once again. This is so frustrating and Public DOES NOT CARE as long as they are getting their money for the vehicle. I have asked for the corporate office, the main boss and was told by Austin that he wasn’t allowed to give me the number. I have asked for a loaner car in which Public refuses to give. So here I am paying over $600/month for a vehicle that’s been in the shop the entire time. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PUBLIC AUTOMOTIVE THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND, LIE TO YOU AND ARE RUDE!!! This is not a way to construct business. Brittany is very ugly on the phone with no customer service etiquette. They say they will make a customer happy, well I’m past the frustration mark and they don’t care, like I said, they just want the continued payments for the car that I don’t even have access too!!! I have notified my attorney and the Texas Lemon Law is in play. I don’t understand why they didn’t try to help this issue before getting overly rude and letting it go this far!

This is based strictly on the fact that the dealership has a website that has absolutely no pictures of the cars they are selling. Every one of the vehicles listed says “Stock Photo”. That to me says a lot about how the dealership is run. Someone isn’t doing their job! This is a part of a larger organization from what I can tell, and the corporate offices need to seriously look at who manages this location. Be cautious!
