Before I bought a 2022 hybrid I asked the dealership how much it costs to replace the battery. The salesman and the finance guy each gave me a price $1500 apart from each other- price convenient to sell the car or warranty respectively. My dad was told he would get a $100 referral reward which we have asked about multiple times and not seen in 7 months. The technology in the car doesnt work- they said it was my phone, but this 2022 car doesnt work properly with any phone. The corporate office will not respond. I will never buy a Honda again, and especially not from here. This outfit is dishonest and dismissive.Also, in response, I have been in contact with the managers who said they would take care of the referral matter months ago and nothing ever happened

Watch out for these shady dealers. They pretend to be a reputable dealership and then do you like Jojos tote the note. Bought a 2018 fit and they talked it up about how well cared for it was and even sold me the road hazards coverage for my piece of mind, but the tires on it dont even have enough treads to pass inspection. Called them out on it when I went for my first oil change and they said. It is what it is cool. Now I know. Have never seen this kind of treatment of a customer by legit dealership.

I called the service dept at the end of August about a recall on my fuel pump. I was told parts are on back order but they expect them September 2nd. They took my name and number and told me they would call once they arrive.it is now October 20th and I called… was told they should get more in next week and that they will contact me when they arrive and schedule the appointment…. I use my car daily and have to make trips frequently to Ft Worth for my kids medical needs. I really hope this pump doesn’t fail on me while I keep getting the run around on getting this issue fixed!

Honda dealers seem to be the easiest to work with. I have yet to be heavily pressured at one and this one is no exception. They are always kind and willing to help and let you know when they dont have what you are looking for, rather than trying to sell you something just to sell you something as the Nissan dealer does.This and other Honda dealers seem to be very respectful in interactions and your finances. I havent had them be pushy yet.

You’re better off just walking in because appointments are meaningless. Nice selection of vehicles. But I won’t be returning for any future service needs.

HORRIBLE customer service. I needed a key replaced for my Accord because it wont start. When I walked in, the man at the front desk pointed me to a desk that said Accessories. I followed his directions to the empty desk and waited. Across from that desk, the service employees were chatting with each other while I waited. One of them said, Frank you have a customer. I waited for probably 10 minutes when Im assuming Frank came out from behind the wall. I explained to him what my problem was and that I wanted to get my key replaced because one of the issues with an Accord that wont start could be your key computer chip not working correctly. So he takes my information that I have with me and he walks over to the service desk and says that thats for them to handle. So again I explained the situation to the lady and she tells me flat out that my key is not the problem. Well, I understand that theyre wanting you to bring in your car and have them do all the service on it and repair and whatever, but I wasnt asking for a diagnosis. I was asking for a replacement key. She then goes on to tell me that only the starter, alternator or battery could be the only issues causing my car to spin over but not start. I know this is not true. A bad fuse, bad electrical connections such as a ground wire not grounding, the ignition module, fuel pump issues, spark plugs, and several other things could be the problem. So I mentioned the ignition module as a possible issue and she asks me if Ive had it replaced recently because maybe thats the problem. And the tone of voice that she used when she talked to me was like I was an idiot. I came in to ask for a key replacement and I dont care that it cost $200. I wanted my key replaced but instead I walked out feeling frustrating, wanting to cry and talked down to, not to mention left without a key, because they then told me that they couldnt use my VIN number to get the key, I would have to tow the car there so that they can take a look at it. I will NEVER go back to Greg May after being talked to the way I was.

You ought to be disgusted and ashamed of how your dealership is being ran. Im tired of being given the run around by your staff. J. R. Nugent is the best car salesman I have ever had the pleasure to work with. We bought a used car from Greg May Honda. Some things did not go right and not in J. R’s control and he worked very hard to make things right. Even after we bought the car and drove away. A part that had been replaced was bad and we took the car to the dealer that replaced the part. They did not keep us in the loop. I called JR and he got them to contact us. JR had to call them several times to get them to call. J R goes above and beyond to make his customers happy. When I buy another car I am going back to JR. I will be telling people to go to J R at Greg May Honda

My wife and I recently had a fairly significant issue arrive with our primary people-mover vehicle. Due to the issue, we found ourselves in the market to buy a pre-owned vehicle during one of the worst buyers markets in recent history. Having driven mostly Hondas in my life, the first place we visited was Greg May Honda. I have to say up front that Marlon, our salesman, was an absolute gem. We had 3 kids in tow, so we were quite the circus. He was so kind, patient, and respectful the entire time.I am giving a 3* review because once we had selected the car, the whole process got very one-sided. Yes, the vehicle market was inflated, but every time we asked for some sort of concessions the answer was a quick, No! I am a capitalist, so I get it... when demand is high and supply is low, prices go up. But the general attitude of every person we talked to other than Marlon was, It is what it is. Buy the car, or dont. We dont care. If you dont buy it, someone else will. Yes, maybe that was reality, but to be a family of 5 that was trying to find a car quickly because we were toting around 3 kids in the back of a 4-door sedan, it felt downright defeating that we were met with such indifferent responses.Yes, we are happy with our van. Yes, we think, given the current market, we got a pretty good deal. Yes, we are grateful for Marlons patience. No, I am not happy that a company like Honda made me and my family feel so powerless.

My wife and I had been to this dealer in the past. We found a new Honda van in Fort Worth for about $1000 less, which we bought. Being local, we brought it in to repair a tire and were told it would cost around $250 to replace it and it was not repairable. The tire looked pretty good, so we took it to Discount Tire where it was patched for free and worked normally since (thats right, no charge).On a weekday, my wife accidentaly ran into the curve and hit both driver side wheels. The front tire busted, that rim was scratched, and the back tire developed a knot/ball on the side. The strange thing was that the van completely shut down. It would not turn on, the battery was low. So we had to tow it to dealer (no other option) and left it at the parking lot. We told them about the two tires, the rim, and the fact that the van would not turn on. Two days went by, and we received a call stating that we needed an alignment, a new wheel, and two tires. It would be ~$1,200. And the diagnostics fee, which was less than we told them was wrong with it, was $130.My wife and I went to pick up the van to take it to Discount Tire. I paid the $130. The van was in the exact same location where we dropped it. I installed the spare tire on, we attempted to charge the battery and jumpt start the van. It did not work. We asked the dealer if theyd looked into the van not turning on. They said no. They told us its probably just the battery, they get low very easily, we see it all the time. Your van is under manufaturer warranty, we can replace it at no charge. So we waited for the battery.Eventually we got the new battery. Finally, we were ready to go. But the van did not start. We now have to run it through electric diagnostics, it will be at least until Thursday until I can have the technician look at it. They were not aware the van was not turning on. Of course, they had not tried to turn it on until now.My wife and I came back for some carseats and other things on Thursday (two days later). The van was in the exact same spot. The technician is looking into this; its not something weve ever seen, so he is going through mechanics forums on the internet. This may be very serious, you may want to file a claim through your insurance. We did. The insurance agent was surprised on the pricing on matters so far.After 10 days, we were told that we have to tow the van to get it into the shop to look at it. Four days later, they found a cable that was disconnected.The diagnostics fee was ~$260 for that. Two weeks later. They had started to file all the paperwork so that the insurance could cover the electronics diagnostics and the $1,200 for the repairs.I cancelled the insurance claim, paid the $260 and again drove the van to Discount tire. I paid about $450 for two new tires with life-time warranty. The wheel was fine, the repairs it needed are cosmetic only per their inspection and testing.My wife and I learned that when buying a new vehicle it is important to think about who would be doing repairs on it. Most people do know that dealerships overly and outragenously price services. Some of it is as you can tell done with complete lack of ethics and only to benefit the dealer, not customers. I do believe in business and profiting, why and how else would one stay afloat? But it should not be unscrupulously.I recommend extreme caution when dealing with this particular dealer. I hope this review is helpful to the dealer, so they can trouble shoot their core values and service department, and most importantly to most customers, who in the end are just like my wife and I - regular people trying to live decent lives.

This is the absolute best place! My husband and I were just passing though when my Honda broke down and was towed here. They rushed to get my car looked at and even though they couldnt fix it on time they took the time to park my car in a convenient place for towing and provided us a ride to our truck rental. These people are truly great.

The absolute worst sales staff and unknowledgeable in vehicles! They pushed to sell a Chrysler 200 or versa instead of looking at options I wanted! With criteria saying was impossible but when going with Vroom I got EXACTLY what I was looking for with an extremely lower interest rate than my own local dealership! Greg May Honda is not about keeping customers happy but about selling as many cars as possible.

VERY DECEPTIVE DEALERSHIP! So I decide to try the True Car site to find my next vehicle and found a vehicle that I was interested in, so I call this dealership to get more information on the vehicle. I spoke to Tony in the used car department and he immediately quotes me $100 over the asking price on True Car. So I advise him of the price difference and that the site shows that the dealership will offer me a personalized price and asked him what the buy it right now cash price is and he says the same $6995. So I tell him that the price is a high for a high mileage older car and what could he do on the price for me. So I get the old speel, let me go talk to my manager who is a pricing whiz and I will get back with you. Well needless to say I never got that whiz of a price nor a phone call back. Even if he could not have offered a better price, have the courtesy to call and say so. So I call again to follow up and I get the messaging service even after being told that he was at his desk by the receptionist. So to add insult to injury, when I went back to continue my True Car search I now see the car listed at $6995, these clowns went in and raised the price after the fact. WTH kind of business is this? I guess I dodged a bullet on this one because if this is the quality of customer service they offer, Im better off walking!

We were traveling from NC to Arizona pulling our rpod and while trying to back up hill into a campsite overheated our transmission. Called Greg May and they took us right in. Bobby and Trey took us right in and fixed the issue. They worked together with Will Nicholson our service contact in Concord NC. Gave us some great towing advice as well. Way to go Honda. You are lucky to have such competent and committed employees!!! We are now in Arizona! Thanks guys!!!

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE!! We’ve had a TERRIBLE experience with this place. We had engine failure (like most of their vehicles from 2011-2019) and they did not handle it well or at all really. HORRIBLE customer service HORRIBLE attitudes & worst experience we’ve ever had with a dealership!! When we finally decided to tow the car elsewhere it had a flat. But it didn’t get there with a flat! This happened on their watch. PATHETIC! Screw this place!

I question the service departments competence!! We dropped my car off to have the remote locking system worked on at 8am and picked it up at 5:45pm (after they had informed us that it was fixed). When I got out of my car, and walked away, I realized that the problem with my car was NOT fixed! I immediately called and reported the issue. A couple of days later, they came and picked up my car at my work place to do more diagnostics. That afternoon they called to inform me that they have not figured out the problem and needed to keep the car longer. The technician working with me offered a loaner (when they had one available), but then after talking to the service manager, he said that those were only for people whos cars are in the shop waiting on a part/physical damage. They now have had my car for 2 days with no answers!

The fine folks at GMH are fully aware of this and do their best to make sure that everything is explained in the process.The good news is that they sell Honda automobiles which can almost sell themselves.This is a winning combination of quality service and quality cars.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE. I purchased a 14 VW Tiguan here for roughly $14k 2 weeks ago. I asked for a report on everything that had been serviced to the vehicle after they said they will change the oil and such to keep for my own service records. I was told the car will tell you. Barely past the first week into having it, I already had issues. The windshield has a leak and soaked the passenger side of the upholstery, which is now falling off and making it a hazard as I cant see out of my rear view mirror. I set up an appointment to get it fixed after multiple phone calls trying to reach somebody to give me a direct answer. They said I never showed up. Well thats because the day before I can even get it there, the engine light comes on and starts blinking so I cant safely drive it. Its going to cost me over $1000 more out of my pocket just to even fix the mechanical problems that supposedly passed inspection. The salesman Tony Ramirez made barely any effort to get back to us until we showed up in person to see if theyd buy it back. They quoted me a ridiculous buy back value. Beyond blessed for my banks financial advisor that has been 1000x more helpful to us than the salesperson/manager from this awful dealership. I am livid and greatly disappointed. My first car buying experience is beyond unsatisfactory thanks to this place. The excitement was short lived. Save yourself a lot of trouble and just go somewhere else.

Wouldnt negotiate on price at all on used car. A little rude in text messages. Sticker price on 2014 Versa Note $8,995 wouldnt go below it. Pushy on in-house financing. Overall not a great experience, wouldnt recommend for first-time car buyers. The same make and model of car is currently for sale in Lewisville for $5,500 so if youre willing to drive, definitely search in the Dallas and Austin areas for fairly priced cars. The car dealerships here corner the market and overinflate used car prices while calling it supply & demand. Since when have used cars appreciated in value? Cars lose value the moment you drive off the lot. I definitely advise going to Dallas/Austin/Houston for used cars that are all currently priced under $7,000. I especially recommend you look at AutoBoutique Texas. Which has Nissan Versas priced at $5,900.

Went in to check out a Camry, and was greeted by a nice salesman of the name Paul Ash. Upon inspection I realized the car has been in a minor accident and the front tires were showing wear bands. Nothing too alarming but def would like to take some of the price off. Paul took some off the price and offered to put two used tires on the car for me. Everything went great in and out the dealer quickly. After I left that day is when everything went down hill. Paul called me Monday and set me up for tires on Thursday. (I had bought the car on Friday). I agreed and called Thursday and he acted surprised like he hadn’t set me up for Thursday. Said he’d call back and never did. The following week I called him again and he told me the tires were “low profile and hard to find”. Mind you this is two weeks we’re driving on pretty bad tires. Attempted to call Paul Ash again the third week and he wouldn’t answer his cell phone, called the office and was transferred to his desk where I never got an answer. Week 3 I was getting very irritated it had been raining a lot and I didn’t want to chance anything happening to my “new to me” car. Paul never returned my calls. I called someone else in the office and explained and they were kind and told me they weren’t aware this was happening and told me “Paul will call you in the morning”. Thinking I was getting blown off again and with the bad weather I went ahead and bought 4 new tires ($600+) out of pocket. The following day Service dept called and had me two brand new tires so I picked them up. So in the end everything worked out fairly. Just not on any sort of schedule. The tires were not in any condition to be driving on in wet conditions. Also if you plan on going somewhere that practices social distancing I wouldn’t recommend going here. Nobody wears a mask.

As with any car purchase, there is always a negotiation to navigate. But JR listened to what I wanted and fought to make a deal. Horrible, horrible, horrible experience. I drove in to Texas for work. I normally take my vehicle to service in San Antonio (Hill Country Honda) for service whom will always get 5 stars. So we made an appointment today May 1st for some mechanical work and get all my tires changed out. The appointment was at 10. Well we get there and were told that the tires would be there around 12 - 1. So they give a loaner to allow us to run errands. So about 2.5 hours of having the loaner we decide to call. Now it has switched to they won’t be getting the tires to Monday. Biggest part of my frustration is scheduling a service knowing you didn’t have the parts in and also was uncertain of delivery time. No one was rude at all during this process. Like I said my frustration kicked in because of the scheduling the appointment without the product. Our entire day was ruined due to this event. And even played a major role into the day after. This was the first and will be my last time ever taking my vehicle to Greg May Honda for any service. A complete nightmare.

Bought my first car here, and Im not even from Waco!Lawrence, and the rest of the team, did a FANTASTIC job making this experience easy and comfortable from beginning to end. I searched high and low for a good, affordable vehicle, and once I finally settled on one, they happened to be the only dealership with a good price on the one I sought after. I talked and met several other nearby places, and talked to plenty of salesmen, but these guys were willing to work with me on a more personal level and understood what I was going through. Had them check out our van prior to a long trip. While there they tried to tell us our power steering was out and would cost $1900 to replace (bare minimum $200 over max average repair according to multiple online sources. While my wife was waiting for them the sales guys were standing around cussing in ear shot of my kids. And then mid trip our alternator gave out and I am told someone should have caught that well ahead of time. Can’t even begin to tell you how ticked I am at these guys. We paid them to make sure things like this wouldn’t happen.

Brought my HRV in for a transmission fluid service on June 1st. The customer service provided by Riley was above and beyond. From the moment I pulled into the service department I could truly tell that Riley took pride in his position and ensuring that as a customer I received the best experience that I could during my visit. The prices for the maintenance were fair for the work done and it was completed in a timely manner. I wouldnt think twice about coming back or recommending the service department.

Made an oil change appointment over the phone. Arrived at the location and the people told us we weren’t in the system. So we had to make another appointment there. The gentleman told us the oil change was suppose to be 45 min to an hour and a half max. It came to be over 3 hours to get an oil change and we were not compensated for the time we waited. I do not recommend this dealership.

Spent $427 with this dealership and will say that I will never return. They will not fix what they broke. The disrespect I encountered with General manager Kyle Binner. All I can say is make sure you take a recording of your car all around inside and under vehicle that way you will have your proof if you do come to this dealership. Also, they do not wear mask at all which hopefully they will get fined for.I got my sound system installed at Rhudys Car Audio & Accessories not some back yard mechanic. I have receipts to prove it. The technician Allan said on 12/19/2020 that the amp was overheating and told me to come back on Monday 12/21/2020 he would fix it. But on 12/21/2020 I’m being told it’s an rca cable needs to be replaced. My subwoofer was working before I got there. Allan took everything out of my trunk which I was additionally charged for including my subwoofer which was not unplugged by itself he had to unplug the subwoofer to get it out of the trunk. I did speak to the general manager who chuckled and tried to make it seem like it was broken before I came. I have a witness and will see you guys soon for you to repair what you broken. Also, you have violated the state ordinance by not wearing masks.

When my wife and I began our search for her new vehicle we were referred to Lawrence at Greg May. We soon found out the reason for the referral. Lawrence was not only knowledgeable, but his servant heart was seen throughout the entire buying process. He was patient with us, friendly, honoring of our time, and in no way self-seeking. We truly feel that he was there to serve us. This service did not end at the point of agreement of purchase. He shared stories about his service beyond the sale with other customers and I have a strong belief in his follow through due to his strong character. When he passed us on to Nate for the paperwork and financial piece the friendly service did not decline in the least. Nate was friendly, honest, and thorough with us.I would firmly recommend the purchase of a vehicle with Lawrence due to his strong character and servant heart.

I have an 8 year service history with two cars at Greg May. Most of my experiences have been positive, involving high quality work by a professional, courteous staff. As expected with any car service provider, there are instances where the cost seems too high or the fix doesnt completely fix the problem, but cars are complicated... Recently, I was in need of replacing a wrecked car, and after surveying several dealers, contrary to my expectations, Greg May had the car I was seeking at a competitive price (i.e., since theyre the only Honda dealer nearby, they can be pricey when demand is high). They worked with me on added equipment, final price, and financing, but it was still the fastest and easiest car purchase ever for me! Recently, I had regular maintenance on the car at Greg May. Their recommendations to solve a minor issue so far have successfully fixed the problem, and they even vacuumed the interior without a request or charge. Great Experience!

These people are scams. Do not trust them. I went in for an emissions system issue and they called me saying everything was almost 5,000. I said no thank you and decided to take it somewhere else. They turned off my maintenance light so I couldnt go anywhere else and so no other mechanic could figure out what was going wrong. Luckily, I have some smart mechanics in my family and the only thing that needed to be changed was the air filter. 15 dollar fix. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, THEY WILL LIE AND SUCK YOU DRY.

They WERE able to get me in a car fast BUT I started having water leak problems less then a month in. Problems that kept getting worse now 9 months out and they would not help. All they said was its not in the warranty and sorry cant help you youre stuck. Even showed pics of water leak and still wont help. Dont go here.

I bought a VW Jetta for my daughter from Greg May. The salesman told me every used car must pass a 40point inspections to be sold. This car had been on the lot for some time. When we arrived to pick it up, one of the back tires was way out of alignment and wearing unevenly and another tire had clear sidewall damage. I pointed these out and he said nothing could be done to address this. The car was as is. How did this pass the 40 point inspection? Basically they sold a car with tire damage that if I brought it to the service department, they would have told me to not drive on it because its not safe. Im not even sure how this passed the normal vehicle inspection. Its my daughters first car and it was her Birthday so we bought the car and replaced the tires.

Experience was good 2 weeks ago when I took my vechicles ac to get fixed.Well 2 weeks later it went out(after spending $1200).So now Ive been without ac for a week.Mind you temps are high 90s now,and I am 6 months pregnant struggling in the heat.Getting panic attacks because its so hot.I also have children that have to suffer along with me.Ive been dealing with Alan,which he has been great,but I do not think services seems to think how serious this can be.*update* I was informed that they were not sure how long it was going to take to get my car ready,but did get me in one of their rentals.So I am very thankful for that!

We wanted to buy a car here despite several people telling us this was a sleazy place because they had the vehicle we wanted. They started laughing at us when we walked in and it took us a bit to figure out why. Turns out these brave heroes got their Doctorate on YouTube and are Anti-Mask. They of course didn’t know they were talking to an actual Physician, but as with these types it’s just not worth the argument so we left. The whole situation was baffling.Addendum after owner response: The poorly thought out Zero accountability response is exactly the kind of Carpetbagger mentality I expected. Maybe you forgot what state you were in. I hope no one ever treats your wives or children the way you treated mine. To be extra clear once I entered the building and went to stand next to my wife the laughing quickly stopped. Didn’t have the manhood to keep laughing then. Truly pathetic

Not a single employee in the building was wearing a mask, despite federal mandates. I was not aware that no one would be wearing masks or I would not have come here for service. I’m a cancer patient with an impaired immune system. Frustrated and disappointed in an under statement. (Feb. 2021) Will not come back to Honda for servicing.

Believe every 1 star review you read about Greg May Honda. Like many, if I could give this establishment ZERO stars I would. As any customer who just wants their car fixed, nobody seeks out to give a dealership a 1 star rating. Its human nature to want to believe in the good of all people. However, as you can see from the response posted from Greg May Honda, that this dealership is not interested in being honest or caring about their customers. No part of that response is true, its just more disgusting bullying that you can expect from their establishment. Never in all of my 30 years of owning a car have me and my wife ever dealt with such unprofessional people as the ones weve met at Greg May Honda. I had a very good experience In the service department. They were able to fit me In even though they had a full schedule. The service was very fast. I highly recommend coming here for your vehicle needs. Also If you are looking at any of the bad reviews I wouldnt pay any attention. I was told they got new management for the service department.Another thing I was very impressed with Is that they explain to you whats wrong with your vehicle and why a certain part has failed by using a board with the engine and drivetrain on It.

Super shady. Call for a price quote and they speculate a really high number. $225 for a battery? I asked multiple time for a specific quote, and the service advisor clearly didn’t want to ask for even the make or the model. It’s bad enough they overcharge for parts and even charge you labor on a battery install - but wow you don’t even want to give me a quote?

SERVICE DEPARTMENTWe hit something on the road going to a basketball game that messed with the metal sheeting below the car. They took the car up almost immediately and helped us quickly, so we could continue on our road trip. It was a temporary fix, but I really appreciate how quick and responsive they were.
