I had an appointment of 10:30. I thought that would assure my stay to be short but it did not.I finally left there about 1PM. It only took 30 minutes to change the oil and check recalls.They had put me in line with all cars that came before me.They said I could have a car to use while my car was serviced. That was not true.

Easy and no shopper stalkers! Randy was awesome and very knowledgeable. He didn’t try to get me a car I didn’t want. He worked with me! I had ask for a Sentra waited till it came in and went to see it. However, when I was there decided it might be smaller then I liked. He helped me find the right vehicle and I couldn’t be happier with my Rogue! Ask for Randy you will not regret working with him!

Communication was poor. I made an appointment for early Friday morning. When I arrived, I was told I needed to leave the vehicle and they wouldnt be able to look at it until Monday. The appointment did me no good. I tried texting, using the chat feature and calling multiple times on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with no luck. I finally got a call Wednesday afternoon to let me know they couldnt find a problem. This dealership has always been very good in the past. Not sure why this visit was poor.

Enrique (the Salesman), Michael (the manager), and Phillip (the finance manager) were all great!*A little back story:Ive been in car sales and auto finance before so I know the tricks and the sales tactics (their exhausting, which is why I am in a different profession now), but I did not see that at my trip to this dealership. Look, they, like any business, are there to make money, and its our job as the consumer to go in prepared. Know what you can spend, get quotes for cars and rates, find out what your car is worth etc.My experience:I called the dealership and spoke with Michael the manager looking for a quote on a new Nissan Kicks. Many dealers would give the whole come in, well give the best price, etc etc but not here, he gave me his best price no problem. I then spoke to him about my trade (it was iced over here so I didnt want to drive there without a quote), to my surprise and delight he gave me a quote over the phone (yes, he even stuck to that number when I got there without hassle). I drove roughly an hour to get here, ice on the roads, as he had the exact car I wanted, with the options I wanted, for a great price. When I arrived, Michael handed me over to the salesman Enrique who had the car ready and waiting for me. He was nice, friendly, and knowledgeable, and did not try to upsell me or play games (something I HATE with a passion). When it came to the APR (I have much less then perfect credit), I shopped around and got pre-approved for a fairly palatable rate, but then the bank denied my loan. They worked with another bank to get me around the same rate I had (I felt) been promised by a different bank. Then came finance. Phillip was my finance manager and he was great, friendly, and very personable. I was waiting for the hard selling tactics of you have to have all this, youre gonna die without this, blah, blah blah, but no. He offered me what he felt I might need, willing to work with me on my payments to fit them in, and I was able to get gap and the extended service contract for a great deal. I asked him what the payments would be without all of it, just to see his reaction and if the hard selling would start, but nope, he gave it to me and was silent. Loved it, loved the whole experience, from start to finish. I will definitely be back!

They told me that when you put the vin # in kbb that it shows all the options…WRONG. I’ve done it every possible way and keep coming up $5000 over what they want to offer. Whether you put in make/model or vin # you still have to select confidence package, sunroof, cruise control, pearl tricoat, etc. They just didn’t want my money.

When my fifteen-year-old car lost its coolant in front of Douglass Nissan, I went straight to their service department. Even though they were booked for the day, they worked me into their schedule. Everyone was so polite and reassuring. I had been thinking of getting a new car anyway, so while the service guys were evaluating my car, Chad West took me to see both new and used cars. There was absolutely no pressure to buy. After consulting with a couple of friends, I decided to buy a new car, rather than pour money into my old car. Chad answered all of my questions and patiently led me through the process of buying my new NISSAN ROGUE SPORT! Phillip Howard in the Finance Department explained the financing to me very thoroughly and was able to offer me a lower interest rate than I had considered from other sources. I couldn’t be happier!

My experience started online with engaging conversation with the sales manager and prompt replies over text. Because of my prequalification, the process jumped a few steps, and all I really needed to finish up was the paperwork at the dealership. Being a family of four and at that moment, only having one vehicle and a wife that worked from home, there was no way for myself to drive to the dealership and somehow manage to drive 2 cars back alone. The sales manager sent a sales representative by the name of Enrique over to pick me up and drive me to the dealership so I could finish the deal and not have the hassle of picking up my mother-in-law and having her wait while I finished paperwork. The next phase of my buying process was a let down as the car I had viewed and was ready to drive off with was actually traded to another dealership that very morning and the inventory hadnt been updated but the sales manager was honest with me upfront and apologized. He worked with me and went above and beyond to make sure that I would drive away with a new car that night. I may not have drove off with the car I wanted but he made it worth my while with the car that he presented to me and that I ended up purchasing. From start to finish, the entire staff was professional, polite, guest orientated, and all went above and beyond to ensure that I was receiving what I was paying for. I sure wish that the Altima SR was in blue like I had first wanted but the metallic gun grey is perfect! Great friendly service is hard to find, but it is available for free at Douglass Nissan in Waco. The most recent referral I made was for my son. He purchased a Nissan Sentra (his first car!!!) He had great service from the first phone call until the last email. We encountered a small problem, and we had to contact the General Manager. We had to have the problem resolved in a hurry because my son was leaving to return to college, and Douglass Nissan delivered! I. as his mother, was greatly appreciative. You want your childs first experience buying a car to be a good one, and this experience was fantastic. Douglas Nissan of Waco is my new home to get my Altima maintenance. I fell in love with them after I was able to schedule an appointment online. Yes, they’re website is fully functioning. The icing on the cake was when I got ready to leave. I got in my car with my head still on my body. I don’t know if they moved the seat or not, but I don’t have to spend the rest of the week trying to readjust my seat. The whole process was wonderful!! I made the appointment online. I received reminders about the appointment. Scott was able to pull up my entire order on the functioning iPad type gadget. I told him my last name, and my appointment time. He pulled up everything. I know he pulled up everything because he even provided me with a quote to replace my visor. That part was in the comment section of the online order. Not only did he give me a quote, but he also informed me that the visor could be replaced today. I can see now!! The digital services that is provided to view your car is out of this world. I am loving that I can see a video of what is being done or being referenced without me going into the garage. This is a very safety friendly technique. Its protection for COVID-19 and slips and falls. I was provided with recommendations with prices, I did not feel rushed, nor pressured to make a decision. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, social distancing, and masked up. I don’t know if it was a courtesy discount or a real discount, but I do know that military discount was not advertised. I was asked and I received. The previous dealership where I got my last oil changed, advertised it but did not apply the discount. Sometimes the best thigs in life do require some traveling.
