I found these guys when I was having my car inspected for a dealer to purchase. They were very informative and upfront. They provide excellent customer service and electronic notifications about your car. They have been in business for many years and know a lot about vehicles. I love to talk about cars when I am in their lobby. Plus they offer coffee or waters or tea even if it is their own personal stash. They go above and beyond for their customers.

NEVER EVER BRING YOUR CAR TO THESE PEOPLE.After I went to them to get my tire checked they FAILED TO ALERT ME of a broken rim i had after they worked on the SAME TIRE. This put me at great danger as I told them I drive to LA for work daily…As I was leaving I noticed my tire still said “low” so I asked a worker if that was normal, he replied with “you gotta drive it and it’ll turn off”, which was also false & fabricated on the spot…Under no circumstances did any of the work they provide me for my BMW reach any level of acceptable standards..Thank god I found professionals who spotted the problem and possibly saved my life 🙏🏽I’ve attached the picture so that the management understands that this error is NOT ACCEPTABLE EVER and that their workers are not properly trained….

My husband was traveling from Southern California to Northern California, when he started to experience tire trouble. We had taken the car to our local mechanic before the trip and were told that everything was good to go. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Stopping at D&S Auto Service was the highlight of my husbands day. The facility was by far the nicest and cleanest he had ever seen. His vehicle was taken in immediately and he was visually walked through what the problem was and shown how it was corrected. The Office Manager was detailed, organized, and professional. He experienced high quality service and was back on the road in no time!

On a road trip from Sequoia National Park back to New Jersey. Got off the Freeway at Visalia looking for gas. In the process, I blew a tire on my 2020 Kia Telluride and made it to the parking lot of DS. Moises the service manager came out and assessed the situation, he called a couple of places, located a tire, went and got it, and had it installed in under 90 mins. I had no appointment and was 2500 miles from home. They took care of me and I was back on my eastward trip. I am very thankful for the professionalism and concern they had for me.

I took my car in because another shop was not really following through with their assessment. I was welcomed and greeted as soon as arrived. My car is a 2014 Ford Transit. The problem with it was it wasn’t shifting and getting gears. The other ship did a full transmission oil change but that there friends was not the problem. There was a dang list of issues with it. Long story short my car was under warranty and what it need was a brand new transmission!!! I was told detail by detail the issues it had and I had the decisions. I felt respected end honored as a customer. Out the door I paid $167 when the remainder was over 9,000! They saved me a heart ache and will be forever grateful. Definitely going back for all my other cars as well. I don’t have my receipt with me but if I can upload it I will. Hands down the best !!

The paper pusher/service coordinator is shady. He gave a different price for diagnostic than previously quoted, $100 more than what was previously quoted. Then he claimed that it was always the same price for the diagnostic. When he told me the new price ($350) for a diagnostic, I left immediately, deciding not to get serviced there. Hes quick with his hands and may not provide you with needed paperwork: slight of hand magician/trickster. Im surprised their ratings are so high, with him behind the counter. Its like theres a good service provider, Moises, and bad service trickster behind the counter who actually does the paper work; kinda like good cop bad cop.I ended up going to the the dealership and getting the diagnostic and repair all finished for $150. Glad I walked away and saved $200.

Prius 2013 sorry, DS, you are excellent in all catagories for customer service. I am impressed and like it. But, I have a blown head gasket and you want $6000 plus dollars to fix it.If you guys can really get that out of customers ignorance than I am changing my proffession. I cant spell but for 6k I can change a head gasket on any vehicle.Thanks for indirectly telling me I have a blown head gasket.no water in the oil.... no cracks in the cyliderscylinders 2 and 4 misfire and water pump over spinsWater coolant disappears over time.misfire only happens when idling.steam in cooler weather comes from exhaust when engine starts up for a bitwhen engine heats up and things expand it runs fine.biggest thing, no water in oil.its a head gasket and cost me $260 for you to not tell me directly.I had to compare what you said to what the internet said.BIGGEST clue.... no water in oil. head gasket.For 40 bucks I fixed it with Bars leaks.even if it breaks down and starts over, 40 bucks compared to 6000?or even just me removing and replacing the head gasket is not rocket science.I like you guys...... but hate people like you, liars scammers and cheats praying upon the ignorant.

We developed two car issues while on our way to Sequoia National Park. We managed to find this amazing place, and got the assistance we needed. We would definitely stop by this place again and would recommend it for professional, honest opinions about car servicing.

Started out not remembering we had an appointment that we made the day before but that’s no big deal really. We had our vehicle diagnosed which cost over $200 and the problem was a bad coil. Wanted another $1500 to fix the problem for a total of $1700. I was informed by a friend that he could do the job for me. Sent me to the auto store and bought 6 new coils and plugs at a cost of $200. My buddy replaced all 6 in one afternoon. I get the shop gets paid labor but $1300.00? GTFOH!!!!! Still looking to get my AC fixed but shady mechanics have me gun shy.

I know when I have any issues with my car this place of business is the best in Visalia great quality, great customer service, and you get a full explanation about what is going on with your car. I just recently had work done on my car, and the service was great. The noise I had concerns about is completely gone, puts my mind at ease the fact that D and S takes pride in there work because it shows. If you care about your car as much as I do take it to D and S auto experts and they will take good care of you and your vehicle.

Charged me almost $800 to replace 2 sensors. One of which didn’t even need to be replaced. My Crankshaft position sensor went out, and instead of only replacing my Crank sensor they replaced my cam sensor too. $800 for a sensor that costs $80 tops, you can’t tell me plugging a sensor in is worth that much in labor. This is not an honest mechanic shop. Told my uncle who’s been a mechanic for over 45 years and he agreed that they completely ripped me off. Don’t come here unless you’re made of money and enjoy being taken advantage of.

I am literally in tears as I write this today ! I had a headache knowing the issues I was having with my vehicle and finding a mechanic that is honest can be hard. And let tell yall this shop is LOYAL and the REAL Deal! Took my car in for a diagnostic and they called me to give me a update and the best recommendation. I am truly thankful for coming across this mechanic shop and will definitely be taking any of my other vehicles I have issues with to this shop in the future. I had my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee towed to DS Auto after it failed to start in the middle of my road trip. They were the AAA recommended location in the area, and given that this happened on a Sunday at 7pm, the tow truck had to contact their after hours line to get the car dropped off.In the morning, I spoke with service tech Moises and they assured me they would expedite the diagnostic to get me back on the road. In fact, I called within 20 minutes of their opening and they already stated they were pulling it in to check.That day I got a diagnostic back with the issue identified, as well as a full breakdown of the car’s service needs. The first sign that this place was not looking to make as much money as they could off me - although there were a few things that popped up as recommended, they were honest about the critical ones that needed to be taken care of to get me home (relay and some oil). I can’t count how many repair shops have told me my windshield wiper fluid is low and needs to be filled ASAP. I live in LA, I’ll be fine without that.On top of the premium service throughout the repair, I needed to pick up my vehicle on Labor Day at 6pm, when the shop was obviously closed. They made arrangements for the owner to facilitate this so it worked for my schedule.Overall so impressed with the service of this place, I wish they were in LA. I drive up this way often and would make a stop there if I needed repairs just because I feel my car is in good hands. Thanks DS Auto

HORRIBLE Experience…Beware of the Fake Reviews!My experience at DS Auto it was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any auto shop to date. Back in August 2020 my car started having some issues, so I called around to see if I could find a mechanic in the area that could check it out and let me know what’s wrong. I called into DS Auto because they seemed to have a lot of genuine, positive reviews on Google. Big mistake! I should have checked Yelp.I ended up speaking with Moses, the rep for DS Auto and a very deceitful man to say the least. Before bringing my car in, I asked Moses how much a diagnostic for my car would cost. he told me flat out that there would be NO CHARGE for the diagnostics. this was one of the main reasons why I chose to go to this shop versus all the other shops I could have went to in Visalia. He even told me that he could secure for me a rental car for $30-35, so that I could leave my car and go run some errands for the day while he runs the diagnostic. Of course, none of this was true.After having me wait around for more than an hour (outside in the searing heat I might add), he slipped me a $135 bill for the cost of the diagnostics. Normally, I would have said “forget it” and left, but he had already had a rental coming to pick me up from the shop, so I stuck it out.After an additional 30-40 mins of waiting, the shuttle from Enterprise picks me up to get the rental vehicle, only to find out once I get there that they actually have no rental cars available, only vans for $60 and up. I couldn’t believe it! Moses knew this full well before I went over there, but went through with the charade anyway. It’s disgusting. I ended up having to WALK from my place to the shop (a 30min walk in 100+ degree heat!) to pick up my car. The whole thing was a complete waste of my time and money.Following the ordeal, I got a message from the owner Santos asking me how my experience at DS Auto was. I explained what happened in a thorough and courteous manner, and got absolutely no response! Avoid this shop like the plague. Not only are their services expensive overpriced, but they very disingenuous and cannot be trusted.I am thoroughly convinced that the bulk of their “positive” reviews on Google are fake and paid for. There are better shops in Visalia that you can patronize that will not jerk you around like DS Auto. Never again!!!

Was having trouble getting my new plates put in because I couldnt get the old screws out, they had me come in to check it out. Told me exactly what Id need as the security caps were busted and to bring the part over from the store across the street and theyd get it taken care of. When the store didnt have the right size they were able to do some finagling and got the plate on with no issue by swapping with caps, entirely for free with fantastic care and customer service. Will absolutely be coming back if I have any other issues and I highly recommend them!

It was time for my 100,000 mile tune-up. They were professional and polite. The estimate was broken up into three categorizes so I would know what needed immediate attention and what could wait so that I wouldnt have such a high bill. I did run into one problem but when I brought it to their attention, they went above and beyond to make sure it was taken care of to my satisfaction. They also surprised me by buffing out some small scratches I had in the side of my car (I dont have before pics because I didnt know they were going to do this!) I would diffidently use them again!!

We came in with an issue with the brakes of a rental car, and were in a pinch for time. We didn’t feel safe driving and needed the brakes to be inspected.They went above and beyond to provide us with excellent service, checking our car’s brakes despite the fact that we didn’t have an appointment. We waited near the desk, and were even given tips on where in the area we could pass the time. Would recommend this place to anyone who has any issues with their car. Outstanding!

The customer service I received from Moises and his staff was exceptional. Ive hit 70K miles and am playing a maintenance catch up game with my beloved (and discontinued) Mitsubishi Evolution X because I plan to keep it as a collector. After doing my own research of proactive services I would likely need I took it to the dealer in Fresno for a comprehensive report/inspection. They came up with 3 things (2 which were recalls) that needed attention. Days later I took it into Moises at DS who after performing the same functions as the dealer had nearly everything on my list and more. After this we set up a plan to get the most important work done first. Professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and straight forward answers is what to expect when you decide to take your car to this establishment.

I have been taking my car to D&S for 3 years now. I am well pleased with every aspect of their service. They always take the customer into consideration when they are working on their vehicle. Always friendly and always explains things. Being that I am a woman, its easy to be taken advantage of. Not so with D&S. They go out oftheir way to be helpful. They were even kind enough to get me a rental car because I was leaving on vacation the next day and had a huge list of errands to do that day. I recommend them to everyone I know. My daughter and son n law go there now because they saw how well they took care of my auto needs. I love the fact that they are Christian and they run their business with Christian values. They dont just talk the talk, but they walk the walk. I am a very content customer and Im so grateful that I have a mechanic that I can rely on.

These guys are fantastic! I really do recommend them to all my friends. Moises is super friendly and always extremely helpful. Compared to when I was going to different mechanics and garages, Who would break things on my car and then not tell me....after I found D S Experts this is the only place I trust enough to take my car to. Awesome service! I got there at 4pm on a Friday when most mechanics might move me to the next day. I had come in with what I thought was an alignment problem, and it was very quickly diagnosed as a bubble in my tire. When I mentioned that I was going to drive back to the Bay Area, Moises sprung into action and suggested that I should change the tire. So he called his contacts, found a reasonable tire, and fixed it, all in the name of my safety (and it was very inexpensive.). I also want to say that I am so impressed by the technology and business processes of this Auto business- I got my car report into my email and phone while I was there, and was able to get them to help troubleshoot the wiper blades that needed replacement. They even went over and above duty to buy new wiper blades for me, collect them from wherever, and put them on, at no service charge. Bear in mind it is now 5pm on a Friday night, and they were still so nice to me and offering me all kinds of drinks from their fridge. They also gave me discount coupons for my next return, as well as one for the person who referred me. I will certainly return for my next service needs!

Excellent service. DS Auto Experts performed an inspection for me. They were very thorough and went over the report with me in detail. The report also included photos of the issues they were seeing with my car. They were very flexible with their communication. They were able to text me quotes while I was at work and they were very quick with their responses. If you are looking for quality service, this is the place to go!

Great service, and kept me informed. They weren’t able to do some work due to warranty coverage issues, but still took it upon themselves to get my vehicle to the dealership service department to complete the job, and did so promptly with regular communication the whole time. Will definitely go to these guys again. Highly recommend.

My check engine light on my Prius came on while visiting Sequoia National Park and I had to get home (3 hours away) that evening. Moises had me come in (after the Toyota dealer never even answered my call) and did a computer check, explained to me the issue and assured me I would get home safely where I could take it in. I had problems with my rental car and they helped me really good. I came in and they where very kindly. They viewed the car for free and gave free advice. Oil had to be replaced and the tires had to be checked. When I called the rental company they didnt want to help me. I handed the phone to the man from the desk and he managed for me with the rental company that I get another car. Im really happy about that. I am very grateful for their good service. Not very friendly service. They seem more concerned with looking out for themselves than the well being of their customers. Better to go somewhere else.

Where do I begin? If you are looking for just any shop you have come to the wrong place. This place is THE shop once you take your car here you wont want to go anywhere else EVER!! Talk about making you feel like family Yes! Clean facilities? Heck yeah you could eat off the floor. They are a little pricier then most but I can see why its because they take pride in what they do. For the quality work they do and awesome costumer service from Moises and his team is worth it. when they have their team work on your car its like they are working on their own. Quality Quality Quality work!! They are honest and upfront.They could have easily taken me to the cleaners for all the work my car needed but they said straight up these are my recommendations first and foremost because we dont want your money. Over all great customer service! They kept me updated on my repairs and gave me price of mind! Moises and the team are very friendly, he explained everything and answered every question Ive had without hesitation. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Cant say enough positive things about this place. Moses and team were great to work with and very thorough. We brought them a vehicle to inspect for us that we were interested in buying. Not only did we get a very positive report on the vehicle but when we returned to pick it up Moses gave us a tour of the vehicle while it was still on the lift to show us any areas of concern. I was impressed by how clean the waiting area and shop floors are. You could eat off the shop floors and thats VERY IMPRESSIVE.. The employees and very friendly and they make you feel at home. I trust that my car will be done when promised and correctly... I think this is the BEST KEPT REPAIR shop ever.... I would recommend this shop to everyone I know and everyone who will listen.. They go above and beyond the normal repair shop... Once you try them you wont ever go anywhere else!!!!

Wow, this place is awesome, they did a full vehicle inspection for free and sent me a web link with pictures comments and details on all components of my vehicle. They maintained consistent communication throughout the whole process and repairs. They even took video footage of certain things just to show me exactly what was wrong. I highly recommend this place. Top notch quality customer service. I’ll be coming back again

I can’t stress how friendly, helpful, and professional the staff here is! They really make you feel like family here. Had me back on the road quickly. Arranged my rental pickup and even dropped it back off for me so I didn’t have to mess with it. Car was cleaned inside and out when I picked it up. Everything was above and beyond my expectations.

Over the years we have used a number of different auto service shops for both company and personal vehicles. Just over a year ago we began using D&S Auto Experts and could not be happier. Their staff, service and quality of work is professional and first class. From the detailed explanations and work to the quality of service and parts, we have been very pleased with the results. Its been about a week since Ive have my green truck worked on there at D & S, and so far my truck is working great.-The cost was below the quote-I was able to drop my vehicle off and Santos (owner) gave me a ride home with one of their complimentary Chauffeur vehicles.-My vehicle was ready at the time of quoted readiness.-Very Friendly-This company did a full vehicle inspection for me, which I didnt expect (awesome).It is an easy to read document.-When I picked my truck up, it was washed.Very awesome-You get what you pay for. And its money well spent folks. I usually dont write reviews, but D & S deserve it. Thanks Moises, Richard, Santos, and your full mechanic team. Especially the mechanics who worked on my truck...Im sure it was not a walk in the park lol
