I am always impressed with their selection and low prices. I picked up a Shiraz that I loved. I looked for it closer to home as Total Wine is out of the way for me. It was double the price in most places and certainly, always more expensive. Very helpful and friendly associates.Tip: If going, check out Crumbl Cookies in the same shopping center. Always a nice place with lots of selections. Even if what you are looking for is sold out they always have something else in stock. Staff is always nice. The only thing i wish is they had more of a selection in the cold veer area.

Total Wine is always a pleasant experience; from the wine selection to the store employees, everyone is knowledgeable and helpful beyond words. I love the wine selection and assortment of wine and spirit related items strategically placed around the store. Definitely worth the trip to shop in person as the friendliness and helpfulness knows no bounds here!

Highly unprofessional and rude management . I believe I was treated unfairly due to the fact that I look younger than I am an I am of mixed race. I will never purchase from here or recommend to anyone ever again . Shame on you total wine .

I first met with Fallon for a wedding consultation in what wine and beer to purchase for my wedding. They were so helpful and understanding of my budget and needs, and allowed me to keep my purchase stored in the back until I came to pick it up a few days before the wedding. I came back after my wedding to return some bottles of wine that we never opened, and the return process was just as quick and easy as the consultation was.

Well, everything in the world is here. Wines are fabulous costs are reasonable. Good customer service. Their app is a bit tricky to use and sometimes its hard to get cell reception in the store. Other than that I love everything about this place

Best selection of craft beers from around the world and local breweries

So I don’t usually review grocery store like places. I had never been in a total wine nor had my mom. We decided to look for a specific bottle of wine that is not normally sold elsewhere and they had it!! Now...I’m writing my review because of the AMAZING customer service that was there. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was friendly, helpful, easy to chat with, and make it more like an experience to enjoy! I usually get my wine from the grocery store but I may just have to make separate stops and return here for the atmosphere!

Great people work here. I needed some wine that was unavailable in the Chesapeake store.When I called the Va. Beach store it was in stock there. When I arrived to pick it up, the wine was already in a shopping cartready. I only needed to purchase it and a very nice young man took it to my vehicle. Wow!!Very impressive.. courteous and great enthusiastic Staff .

Selection of Burgundy and Italians were a little sparse. Wegmans probably has it beat for selection overall. But prices seemed reasonable and the information cards for the wines were original and helpful.

Its the (basically) only store in Tidewater with a decent selection of imported German beer. I guess because of Covid, selection and quantity has been spotty for the past year. I still managed to walk out with more than a case of assorted real beer. Haha

1st time in here, who knew there were so many options. Found what I wanted pretty quickly.

Not cool to publish hours Sat till 10pm and you close before 9:30. I even called the store to check the hours.

Number 1 spot to go for both wine and beer such a variety of different flavors, sweet notes, bitter, furity and fresh and etc. This place is perfect for any planned party. wedding, events, and even with dinner. The connoisseur was very helpful in addressing different wines and what kind were sweet or mellow. I personally enjoy rose wine some that are mellow and sweet and also my red wines not too sweet but enough that I can pair it with a great meal. This place is perfect for anyone who wants to know about wine and for your wine enthusiasts this is a must stop. The Staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable on knowing about each and every wine from Moscato, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and so much more. This is an adults paradise for anyone!!!

Went in to find a Port to cook with, never having had it before, and thus utterly clueless as to which to buy. It wasnt busy, so the very nice cashier I approached, shut down her register, guided me across the store to where the Ports were and helped me pick out what was most likely the best choice for my purpose...cooking up in a beef sauce. She answered all my questions and made the whole experience delightful. Highly recommend.

Wine taste testing safe during covid, beer education not during covid, clean public bathrooms available. 2020 covid cleaning station with free masks if you forget. Had great gluten free options for singles even and military get 2x rewards points, not sure how to use or upload them though and they wouldnt answer their phone.

Mostly well stocked wish the checkout staff was a little more pleasant but everybody has a bad day

This is one if my favorite places to get beer and cigars! Always nice to go to and the employee always are knowledgeable about the beers and cigars they carry. One of my favorite things about the place is that theyve got little cards of information about each beer and cigar. Definitely helpful to make my mind up! Definitely worth a trip or two! I usually stop here when Im around Hilltop.

My most recent visit was to the Hilltop location. Everyone was very helpful. There is plenty of free parking. The variety for very type of wine and beer is huge. We purchased several new wines to try. The store and bathroom were clean. The aisles were plenty wide. The location is easy to access.

They have very helpful and courteous staff and a huge selection of wines, beers, ales, and other beverages. Even the difficult to find ones. They have all my favorites and so many great new surprises. Its the best place around for your liquid refreshment needs.

It was my first time shopping in Total Wine. I have an allergy to sulfates and heard about sulfate free wine, so I thought I’d go see if I could find something I like. I had no idea where to start or what to even look for. I was helped by a guy whose name was Nick. He was so nice and knowledgeable. I really like the bottle he showed me and will be stopping by again. Great customer service!

Huge store with a large selection of wine, champagne, beer (import, domestic, craft), snacks, and bar implements; not to mention even a humidor with cigars... the only downside is making a decision or finding where exactly what you want is located.I spent an hour there browsing around before snagging stuff.

Every wine lovers dream! An astonishing selection of wines from literally around the world... everything from Bordeaux to local winery selections. Additionally, numerous craft beer options and just about every possible accessory you can think of...and those you cant! They also offer free tasting options for both wine and beer. Definitely cannot go wrong here...highly recommended!

The employees here are fantastic. Very knowledgeable and easy to find walking around the store. Huge selection of local beer and seasonal beer. Sad to find out they dont have the Jacksonville beer that I fell in love with in Florida, but the staff helped me find similar options.

They have an amazing variety of everything.. want wine, oh they have it! Want liquor, you bet they have it!! Want beer??? Oh yes, they have beer!!! I got a few things but I think what I liked the most was build your own six pack. I did have a lot of employees ask me if I needed assistance and when I did they were very helpful.

Great knowledgeable people about the wines they sell. cheep wine boxes if your into just getting drunk. Much cheaper than food lion or walmart on boxed wines. from my experience, about 5 bucks cheaper with wine boxes that are just normal table wine. Maybe some across the board deal with such producers?
