Had been wanting to check this place out for a while. Many beers on tap and good bar food. Great beer store. Will go back when I’m in the area again.

Uploaded 2 different photos of a burger. They tasted like they were frozen patties. We were wondering why the lady didnt ask us how we wanted it cooked, but we told her anyway. Honestly the worst burger we have ever had. We were on lunch and was very hungry. Certainly very disappointed with the burgers. However, the beer was good.

Different from what I expected...You seat yourself, review menu and order from the bar. Wanted sodas, got 2 glasses of ice and 2 cans of soda, no free refills.You pay for food and drinks before getting them, was hard to decide tip, since I hadnt eaten my food or drink...Food was good, atmosphere was bar/store feeling...For the beer drinker, a good place to visit.Afternoon visit not crowded, no await for a table.Food came out quickly and server was polite.

Visited for the first time today. Bartender was super friendly. Food was great. Beer choices on tap are so varied and we spent even more on the bottles and cans they sell. We will definitely be back!

This is an excellent, excellent spot. Over 30 rotating taps (yep, rotating) with clean lines. A giant bottle shop as well with an excellent cross category and cross country selection; truly reflective of the current state of the industry at large. Very tasty food also, tried 3 different things off the menu. Both staff and ownership were super pleasant during our visit, happy to offer tastings and even coach those who are not as well versed find the right beer for them. Very impressed. Do yourself a favor and check out this local gem. Meg in particular (short for Margaret?) was outstanding. Loved having her help us!!!

Id give it 6 stars if I could, this place is SO good. Everyone loved their lunches, best was the chicken parm sub. Beer selection was enormous, staff was super friendly and patient.Lots of patrons left big messes when they were done, so be prepared for that if you go when its busy.

First time coming and I would highly recommend it! The food was fantastic and the service was great! Plenty of seating and plenty of selections in brews! The Apple crumble ale and blood orange cider were fabulous! Very clean and organized restaurant with a great atmosphere!

We stopped in The Casual Pint last weekend while my husband, daughter and I waited for our table to be ready at the Longhorn Steakhouse in the same shopping center. I sent my husband inside to get us a drink while I waited outside with our not so calm 10 month old. They have a nice outdoor seating section we were going to utilize since we had the stroller. When my husband didnt come out for awhile I went inside to check in. I should of know, he was being his indecisive self and giving the waitress/beertender a hard time. Her name was Meg. She was SUPER helpful in helping us choose a beer we liked. We arent big drinkers so she even allowed us to sample a few. Her patience amazed me with my husband still not knowing what he wanted even after sampling a few. Then after a few follow up questions to him she said I got the one for you!. sure enough he tasted it and loved it. She even mentioned to us that we can purchase a 6-pack to take home. We will definitely be back to see Meg on our next Date Night! She made us feel so welcomed and I was so pleased with her customer service!

The Casual Pint is a quaint specialty beer store and pub. Counter service is the only option here, but dont let that steer you away. Servers are knowledgeable, patient, and very helpful to guide you to a beverage and food selection.

This place is great. We originally came for the beer selection, but THE FOOD IS AMAZING! The quesadilla and flat bread are the best around. We keep coming back and will not stop. The beer is an added bonus at this point. The staff is great as well, super friendly and just love coming here!

Super busy today with soccer, baseball, and concert. May have taken a little while to get a beer, but it was busy. Great customer service owner is always in working hard. Love this place.

Fantastic! Nothing but 5 stars here. Great selection of beers, both bottled/canned and on tap. Had fun trying out new flavors for our date night. The pretzels are THE best I have personally had. Coming from the Milwaukee area, I know my way around beer and pretzels. I absolutely recommend trying everything. Just might be our new favorite place!

Food was good, beer was good. We ordered Fries along side our wings. It wasnt very many. If I had a recommendation for the place, the amount of fries/wedges they serve should be increased.

Came in the other night with my wife for a beer and it was a pretty good environment. I believe there was a trivia night or some event going on which seemed fun but we arrived after it started. The drinks were good, not sure who our server was but one of the people helping us was a little overwhelmed. it was a younger looking kid with dark hair so I am guessing he is new. The other server who was helping him out did a good job. It was nice seeing the teamwork here. Overall we had a good experience and will be back next time we are in town. hopefully on a less busy night.

Honestly one of the best selections of beer in the area. I went in and was blown away by the variety of beer. If it wasnt for the knowledgeable staff, I wouldve been a little overwhelmed. After telling them my favorite beers, they directed me to a couple new beers I hadnt heard of but boy oh boy am I glad I tried them. This will absolutely be one of new weekly spots to find amazing new drinks. Even if beer isnt your preferred drink, their selection also includes a ton of awesome ciders and seltzers as well. Thanks for treating me to such an awesome experience.

Went there today to buy stuff to take home. Staff walked us over to a drink they recommended and said was amazing. Got in the car and realized it was several weeks expired. Went back in and told the staff and they tried telling us it was fine and still good. Now I get saying that to someone if they’re in your home and if they ask if they can drink your expired beer but straight up trying to convince me to buy their expired alcohol was a little much. They told me to grab one of the other boxes and those were bad too. Some expired a few months before. Had to search almost the entire shelf to find one box that wasn’t expired and even then it expires in about a week. The fact that that the expired one was the specific one the staff told walked us over to and handed us makes me think they were trying to sell expired drinks without anyone noticingDrink was pretty good but please make sure you look at the expiration date before you leave the store

Ended up here after a horrible experience at Bakers Crust. SO GLAD WE DID! Food was great, beer was cold and service was FANTASTIC! Keep up the great work. We will be back!!

Good food! Loved the pretzel with brats. The beer cheese has a good kick. The buffalo chicken flatbread was really good too. They have an excellent selection of bottled and canned beers, seltzers, and several good drafts. Warning! They only have beer. No mixed drinks, but I believe they have sodas. Very chill and we enjoyed the music. Nice patio at this location as well.

Reminds me of breweries in San Diego! Great beer and cider selection, both on tap and for sale to take home, including local options. We tried the buffalo chicken cauliflower crust pizza/flat bread and it was super delicious! Fun environment including board games, lounging area, plenty of tables, and trivia night on Tuesdays. Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Definitely recommend and will return.

Lots of beers but the system is horrible. Grab a beer out the massive cooler and than wait on line to pay for it for 20 minutes while you beer gets warm. Food was OK. Very good pretzels everything else was average.

Went in for a drink after work the other night and absolutely loved it. The staff was super friendly and helpful and always recommended the best drinks. I will definitely be coming back. Also the beer cheese with the pretzels is amazing. By far one of the best Taco Bell’s in the area.

This is a spot added to my list of places. It is surrounded by other restaurants but this place stand on its own. They have a nice selection of beer. The food and service is great!

The atmosphere is amazing. My husband is a big beer and ipa connoisseur and he loved it. They have really good food as well. We got the wings and the loaded sidewinder with pork. The beers arent super cheap but the service and atmosphere make it a really cool place to hang at.

First time patrons, really wanted to give a 4.5 star. Awesome service, food portions LARGE for two people to share, Hubby took one for the team and the food was delicious. Id give a true 5 star if I could eat outside and my fur baby in her stroller (I didnt even ask, my bad). Okay

Been there twice and the first time the staff never acknowledged us so we went somewhere else. The second time we placed an order to go. The food is good, but the customer service is garbage.We weren’t at a table, we were standing in front of your register...

Lives up to its name - casual upscale dining for those who like beers, ales and the like in broad numerous variety. No pressure from wait staff; order your beverages and food from the bar at your leisure. Start a tab, if you wish. The menu had interesting choices. The food was prepared well and served promptly. We were there to meet for catch up and conversation and the Casual Pint provided the just right atmosphere.

They were very busy but the servers were friendly, the food was good and the beer was cold.

Food is on point .. pick a beer any beer. Locally sourced changed out weekly I think.. i don’t know because I never get through whatever they have anyways... great gem 💎 & a mandatory for any local & must for everyone else

I cant say enough about this place. Phenomenal beer rotation and selection. The food is awesome. Pretzel and beer cheese or chicken basil pesto flatbread. The owners are great. Staff os great. They have a beer club. 20 bucks a month. You get a free 64 ounce growler and a t-shirt. Then you get 99% off a growler fill,up once a month. Always get 10% off packaging and pick sixes. If you buy the glass crowler and bring,it in, its three bucks off the crowler price. Just a great place.Add on. Make every night vinyl night. But just call it nothing. Turn that music up baby!!!

Great place...damn good burger

Great atmosphere and I love that the bartenders give recommendations and let you taste a few before deciding which on-tap. We took our dog with us and sat out on the patio, they even brought out some treats and a water dish for her! The pretzel with beer cheese was sooo good, and my fiance really enjoyed the crab imperial and shrimp on flatbread. I highly recommend this place, we cant wait to go back!

The bartender with the red beard and hair was absolutely rude. Not just to me but everyone at our table. Learn better customer service and social skills buddy. It’s especially important in 2020.Update: Eric and Brad were awesome and thanks to them two, the food and drinks we’ll back. As long we don’t see Red head at the bar.

If you are in the VA Beach area and are seeking a place to eat....or grab a good drink....look no further! I would give 10 stars if I could.Our boys had a basketball tournament at the field house and we happened in there on a break. This place was an amazing find! The food was very high quality and extremely fresh! The price point is great and the portion sizes are huge! We had an assortment of items....buffalo chicken wrap, pasta salad, chicken wings (which were ginormous!) flat bread pizza, chicken bacon salad, side winders and a pretzel. EVERYTHING was delicious and flavorful. The people were helpful, friendly and available...even the owner was on the floor working and tending to guests. The guy who took our order offered suggestions, was helpful and even sang along with the music...which was also fantastic!It was just an all around good experience...and you just dont find many of those anymore! Thank you so much for giving us the energy to get through another 7 hours of a tournament! LOL You made lifelong customers today! :-)

It took a little while to be served. Quite a few people were served at the bar before my party, who were all seated there. They let you sample the different beers. The prices are reasonable. The wings are very good! The food came out very fast.

I was a little confused by the setup when entering since it was our 1st time there. You have to find your own table then order at the bar. Once settled everything was great, all food was fresh and hot and well definitely return.

Good food. Good Beer. Service was polite, but not super helpful. Had to ask for our drinks about ten minutes after ordering them. Never got silverware or napkins. Little stuff, but odd that it wasnt brought out. These are pretty standard things when dining out.

Great place! My wife and I were on vacation at Virginia Beach and wanted to find a good craft beer place. Well we found it at the Casual Pint. Unbelievable selection of craft beer, if the beer is not there then it isnt being manufactured. The prices were a little high but service was good and they had everything that you could think of. If I come back to Virginia Beach I will be including a trip here as well.

Wow I hate that it took me so long to find this place! Chuck, his wife, and his employees are awesome and extremely helpful and friendly! The beer selection on tap is AMAZING. But along with this, they have a huge selection you can buy and take home! They have a huge variety which is awesome. You walk in and order at one of the sides of the bar for food and beer. You can use their app to see whats on tap. They are connected with the untappd app which is wonderful and super convenient because you can see the reviews of each beer on tap right then and there. The food menu is great with just enough options. My husband and I had the pesto chicken flatbread which was delicious! The food came out pretty fast for being such a packed and busy night. Chuck, the owner, is incredibly friendly and welcoming and you can tell he loves what he does. His team of employees are all very nice and helped anyone who walked in. We sat wherever there was open seating. Tons of TVs to watch sports or whatever is on. They have board games and other games to enjoy while relaxing and drinking a beer. I will definitely be coming back. Love this place!

Havent even had the chance to dine in yet, just ordered takeout but Im already impressed! I stopped to get my husband a burger to take home and was greeted by a man and woman who Im guessing are maybe the owners? They were great! They were so welcoming and attentive. The place was very busy but the staff seemed to be working together well and getting orders out quickly. Everyone was just so friendly and it was such a great environment, and my husband loved the burger! I even picked him up one of their awesome GOT t shirts so he could rep the place! We will definitely be dining in here often.

Good beer, but people dont know how to do their jobs. Ordered food and waited 45min before going and asking what the deal was. And come to find out. It was never sent to the back. So the pink haired chick that took my order blatantly disregard it.
